Mel B’s kids can’t sing

Mel B says her children can’t sing "that well".
The former Spice Girls star insists it’s unlikely her kids, Phoenix, 15, Angel Iris, seven, and Madison, two, will follow in her footsteps and have a career in music because they don’t have the appropriate talent.
Speaking to the Daily Mail Australia, she said: "My kids can’t sing. If they were really good at singing I wouldn’t have a problem [with them having a music career] but my kids can’t sing that well. They’ll sing [Disney’s] ‘Frozen’ but it’s not like, ‘Oh my God they’re incredible’ – they’re just being kids.
"Right now my two-year-old Madison does everything my seven-year-old does – and my seven year old is into Barbies and princesses, while my 15 year old is into basketball."
The 39-year-old singer – who is currently a judge on ‘The Voice’ Australia, hosts a breakfast show for 2DayFM once a week and is the newest judge on ‘The X Factor’ UK – admits her children regularly accompany her when she’s on set, but she’s not worried about them being overexposed to the showbiz world.
She explained: "They come on set with me a lot, they love watching the show."
Although the feisty star has lots of jobs, Mel B insists she loves being so busy and always puts 100 percent into all her work.
She insisted: "I love to work, I love to do the jobs and I don’t do anything unless I do it 100 per cent. I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t believe in it."
