Shia LaBeouf: Fury ‘saved’ me

Shia LaBeouf believes his new film 'Fury' has "saved" him.
The 28-year-old actor, who was arrested earlier this year for disorderly conduct and was later admitted to rehab for alcoholism, credits the World War II movie for helping him change his ways and his religious views.
Shia, who has previously claimed he was Jewish, told the November issue of Interview magazine: "I've been a runner my whole life, running from myself. Whether to movies or drinking and drugging or f***ing calamity or whatever it is, I've always been running.
"I found God doing 'Fury.' I became a Christian man, and not in a f***ing b******t way - in a very real way.
"I could have just said the prayers that were on the page. But it was a real thing that really saved me."
Shia also praised Alec Baldwin, who was instrumental in getting the star fired from the Broadway play 'Orphans' after they clashed on set, for being there for him after he was arrested in June for disrupting a performance of 'Cabaret' and spitting at a police officer.
He explained: "I've made peace with Baldwin. He was the first dude to hit me up after I got out of court.
"He sent me an e-mail. It's really beautiful. I was crying on an airplane."
Meanwhile, Shia pleaded guilty to the disorderly conduct charge in September, but a judge ruled his plea would be dismissed and he would avoid both jail time and probation if he undergoes treatment for another three months and stayed out of trouble for six.

Kris Jenner wants Bruce to be ‘happy’

Kris Jenner just wants Bruce Jenner "to be happy."
The 58-year-old matriarch - who split from the Olympic gold medallist last year - insists she's not bothered who her estranged husband, with whom she has daughters Kendall, 18, and Kylie, 17, is dating and wishes him nothing but the best for the future.
Speaking on the US television show 'Today' this morning (20.10.14), she said: "I don't know who he's dating. He doesn't like check in with me and give me a play-by-play, but it's his life, and you just want the guy to be happy. You know, he's still the father of two of my children. We're friends."
It was thought the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' beauty - who filed for divorce from Bruce last month - was devastated following rumours he was now dating her former assistant Ronda Kamihira, but Kris insists she couldn't be happier following the split and believes she and the former athlete, 64, are better off as friends.
She explained: "[I'm] very happy [post-split]. I think at some point in your life you have to make a decision to do what's right for your family and the kids and I think that we decided to be grownups ...
"We're just better apart than we are together, but we're still really good friends."
Meanwhile, Kris - who also has grown-up children Kourtney, 35, Kim, 33, Khloé, 30, and Rob, 27, with her ex-husband, the late Robert Kardashian - hasn't ruled out finding love again at some point in the future.
She said previously: "I want to definitely be in love, I like being in love, I think there's no better feeling in the world. So yeah, I mean that would be amazing."

Selena Gomez talks love advice from Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift has told Selena Gomez to surround herself with "better" people.
The 22-year-old singer, who recently split from her on/off boyfriend Justin Bieber, admits the 'Shake It Off' hitmaker, 24, believes she will benefit from ditching people who no longer boost her life and career.
Speaking on 'The Talk,' Selena explained: "She [Taylor] was actually at my house the other day, and we were sitting by the fire and I was talking about relationships and business in my life.
"She just kind of looked at me and was like, 'Selena, if you're the smartest person in the room, I think you're going to be in the wrong room.'
"She thinks I should constantly surround myself with people who are going to make me better, that are going to challenge and motivate me. It kind of stuck to me. I want to surround myself with those people."
However, the 'Come & Get It' hitmaker insists Taylor, who was reportedly against her dating Justin, 20, will always stand by and support her regardless of her choices, whether good or bad, in life.
She added: "She supports me and never judges me."
Meanwhile, relationship advice isn't the only thing Taylor has been giving her pal as she's also been trying to persuade Selena, who recently moved out of her parents' house and into her own property in Los Angeles, to set up home in New York.
Selena said previously: "She's been begging me [to move to New York] every time we get on the phone, because it's been a really good thing for her."

Nicki Minaj fired as a waitress

Nicki Minaj was fired as a waitress after she chased a customer down the street for stealing her pen.
The 'Anaconda' hitmaker, 31, admits, before she became famous, she was sacked from the restaurant The Red Lobster after she followed a couple into the car park and swore at them for pinching her biro.
Asked whether it was a special pen they'd snatched, Nicki told the November issue of GQ magazine: "No. It was the principle."
The curvaceous singer was also briefly a customer service representative for a company in New York, but that didn't really work out for her either as she didn't like the attitude she received from some people.
She explained: "I like dealing with people, but I don't really like a lot of b******t, so maybe customer service wasn't the best job for me."
Meanwhile, despite her ongoing success in the music industry, the brunette beauty, who has been dating her boyfriend Safaree Samuels for nine years, is planning to put her career on hold in the near future in order to get married and start a family.
She said previously: "I don't want to work my whole life without ever experiencing the joys of a family. The time is not yet ripe, but when I decide to get married and become a mother, I would like to take a hiatus and dedicate myself completely to my child."

David Arquette ends engagement?

David Arquette has allegedly ended his engagement.
The 43-year-old actor appears to have dumped his fiancée Christina McLarty, with whom he has six-month-old son Charlie, during a public argument, which was caught on camera on Friday night (17.10.14).
In the footage, obtained by the MailOnline, David was seen shouting at the brunette beauty, whom he has been dating for three years and proposed to in July, as she chased after him along Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles following their date night at Craig's restaurant.
The hunk, who appeared to call-off their romance, told his beau: "That's it, I can't take it any more. I'm done, I'm sorry. Just like the last guy. I'm just like him."
The 33-year-old stunner, who seemed to be in tears, later replied with: "Stop David ... Come here, please!"
Christina was previously married to Joe Francis, but their relationship came to an abrupt end in 2010 when she moved to New York to pursue her career.
Meanwhile, David was married to 'Friends' actress Courteney Cox, with whom he has 10-year-old daughter Coco, for 11 years but the couple split up in 2010 and divorced two years later in June 2012.
However, David insists the split was amicable and they have remained friends for the sake of their daughter.
He said earlier this year: "We just really dealt with it in a very sweet and honourable way. We just love each other. Even though the relationship didn't work out, we wanted to still remain friends and treat each other with respect and have a great relationship for our daughter."

Charlie Sheen lets ex-fiancee keep ring

Charlie Sheen will allow his former fiancee to keep her $100,000 engagement ring.
The 'Anger Management' actor confirmed last week he and pornstar Scottine Ross - who is also known as Brett Rossi - had decided to end their eight-month engagement but there is no hard feelings between the pair and the generous star will allow her to keep all the gifts he bought her during their year-long romance.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "Charlie bought the ring for Brett and would never ask for it back. Brett can do whatever she wants with the ring, and will also keep all of the clothing, handbags, and other jewelry he gave her.
"Charlie is extremely generous with the people he cares about."
The 49-year-old actor - who has a grown up daughter Cassandra from a relationship with Paula Profit, daughters Sam, 10, and Lola, nine, with second wife Denise Richards, and twin sons Bob and Max, five, with third spouse Brooke Mueller - explained last week he wants to put his children ahead of his romances for the time being.
He said in a statement: "Scotty and I had a great year together as we travelled the world and crossed a lot of things off our bucket list. She's a terrific gal but we've mutually decided to go our separate ways and to not spend the rest of our lives together.
"I've decided that my children deserve my focus more than a relationship does right now. I still have tremendous fondness for Scotty and I wish her all the best."

Kristen Stewart planning a break

Kristen Stewart is taking time off to "make s**t with her hands".
The 24-year-old actress recently wrapped filming on futuristic drama 'Equals' and is now looking forward to a lengthy break to pursue some other creative interests.
She said: "I'm taking some time off because I've been working for two years.
"I'm an actor and that's my art form, and because I started that so young, I've always felt intimidated and insufficient when I think about other forms of art I want to create. I'm going to take so much time off.
"I'm going to buy a live-work space in downtown LA and I'm going to make some s**t with my hands. Literally, I made that decision a few weeks ago. I'm making a short film. I'm making a bunch of stuff. I don't know how I'll put it out. But I'm not going to hold it so preciously close to me. I write all the time."
One thing the 'Twilight Saga' star won't be doing during her time off is connecting with her fans on social media.
She told USA Today newspaper: "What would I Tweet about? Who are you talking to? What are you saying? Imagine sitting here right now and thinking, 'That's a good thing to say to the world?' What? I can't even understand it."
While Kristen - who dated Robert Pattinson for five years - is uncomfortable in the spotlight, she has learned to accept the attention that comes with fame because she "loves work" so much, though she does wish her life could be more "normal".
She said: "I started working as an actor so young. One thing that will stay with me forever is, I really love work. I love hard work.
"I'm somewhat OK with the isolation. At times I realise, that's so not normal. It's weird but it gives me the opportunity to do what I love.
"I do wish it was a bit more normal. Plans are just difficult. You have to be ready to change them any moment. If you walk into a place and there are weirdos there, you leave."

Jada Pinkett Smith auditioned with a man on a leash

Jada Pinkett Smith auditioned for 'Gotham' with a man on a leash.
The 43-year-old actress revealed that her audition process for the role of Fish Mooney was a little unconventional, after she shocked the executive producer Danny Cannon when she turned up in a long gown with a short wig and a young man on a leash.
Speaking at the 'Gotham' panel at PaleyFest, Jada shared: "I said, 'Forget it, instead of talking about who Fish Mooney is, let me just show you. I went Method."
Despite playing a mob leader in the Fox TV show, Jada has previously spoken out about her own tough upbringing in Balitmore, Maryland.
Earlier this month she wrote on Facebook: "Half my life was surviving a war zone.
"There was a time all that loss felt like the norm."
The actress then added that she was glad that her own children - Jaden, 16, and Willow, 13, with her husband Will Smith - were saved from the same fate.
She told her fans: "I'm grateful for what I have survived ... Grateful I didn't become a statistic like I often thought I would. Grateful that my own children don't have to confront the loss and violence in their neighbourhood in the way their parents had to."

Sinéad O’Connor slams planned performance with Pope

Sinéad O'Connor claims to have been asked to perform at the American Music Awards (AMAs) with the Pope.
The 47-year-old singer was reportedly set to perform her 1990 single 'Nothing Compares 2 U' and new track 'Take Me To Church' at the awards on November 24, but insists she has pulled out of the show after hearing producers had attempted to wrangle an introduction from Pope Francis.
Writing on her website last week, she wrote: " I never heard anything so warped and disrespectful to both the Pope and myself, as well as millions of Catholics (As well as my fans, with whom I have some f**king street cred, thanks, and integrity) in my life. (sic)"
The troubled musician has had several scrapes with the Catholic Church throughout her extensive career, most notably an incident on 'Saturday Night Live' in 1992 when she tore up a photo of Pope John Paul II.
Currently promoting her 10th studio album 'I'm Not Bossy, I'm the Boss', she admitted that the suggestion was in bad taste following her stance against the faith.
She continued: "Since naturally their idea was not only disrespectful to the Pope and to millions of Catholics (The idea he ought consider lowering his feet into the disgusting world of show business and celebrity at all! Never mind with Sinead O'Connor) they didn't get a response and consequently I'm now not doing the show."
She added: "Oft' it is said 'That Sinead O'Connor is insane', and of course, there's no smoke without a little fire, but one wonders who is actually crazy after this."
