Amelle Berrabah told her new husband he was the "egg in [her] yolk" and the "jam on [her] toast" in her self-written wedding vows.
The 30-year-old singer tied the knot with Marcio Sousa Rosa in Mauritius last month, just days after they got engaged, and she admitted the couple's personalised words to each other left the "alpha-male" record label executive in tears because they were so touching.
She said: "They were very romantic and emotional. Marcio never cries and nothing fazes him, he's so laid-back, but he had to grab a tissue and cover his face because he was crying at one point.
"There were a couple of funny bits in mine, too. I said, 'You're the egg in my yolk, the jam on my toast. Marcio, without you, there is no me.'
"It was lovely to be able to say what I feel about him. I knew I'd fallen in love with him within a couple of weeks of us meeting.
"I loved that he was very mysterious, very alpha-male and he doesn't feel the need to brag."
While Amelle's mother and five siblings were not invited to their whirlwind wedding due to the pair's wish to have an intimate affair, the former Sugababes star is planning a second ceremony in her parents' native Morocco in which she is going to wear seven dresses.
She added to HELLO! magazine: "It'll be a big Muslim ceremony and I'll have seven dresses. Well, I might bring it down to three.
"But it's like a three-day party and I'll have henna up my arms and everything. It'll be lovely for my family to be part of it."
The couple will then embark on a honeymoon to Thailand in the new year, and Amelle admitted Marcio had originally planned for the newlyweds to celebrate their nuptials in the south east Asian country after their Mauritius wedding but he had to scrap those plans because it is monsoon season there.
Amelle and Marcio have already talked about starting a family and she is hoping they will welcome their first child together in around a year.
She said: "We're thinking maybe in a year, a year and a half - two years tops.
"I'm just so excited knowing this man is mine now, forever. We're very blessed."

Stevie Wonder is to be a father to triplets.
The 64-year-old singer and girlfriend Tomeeka Robyn Bracy - who gave birth to his eighth child last year - will welcome three babies into the world in 2015, and insiders say having kids is the key to the 'Superstition' star's happiness.
A source told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "It's Stevie's mechanism for his happiness. I don't know that he set out to have 11 children, including triplets at his age, but it's not like he isn't happy about it or he can't afford children."
The legendary crooner - who has been married twice and has children with five different women - is said to have told friends he hasn't always been available for his kids when they needed him, but as he has grown older, he has developed closer bonds with his brood, who range in age from one to 39 years old.
A source said: "Aisha [his oldest] enjoys her dad quite a bit, they get together and eat and joke.
"He's been helping [his son] Mumtaz with some of Mumtaz's music and he always talks about how talented his son is.
"He knows that being a father is a full-time job and now that he's a little older, he feels like he's up to the task and he doesn't want to let any of them down."

Anne Hathaway says her marriage has been the "greatest spiritual journey".
The 31-year-old actress thought her nuptials to her jewellery designer husband Adam Shulman in September 2012 was a "great party" but she didn't expect her heart to have such a "radical shift" that came with being married.
She said: "Marriage isn't for everyone but for me it has been the greatest spiritual journey I've been on.
"When we got married I thought it was a great party, but I honestly thought we were doing it more for tradition and I wasn't prepared for the radical shift that my heart was going to have."
Perhaps hinting at her former relationship with her ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri - who she dated for four years before splitting from the real estate developer in 2008 when he was jailed for fraud - Anne admitted she tries to laugh when faced with adversity.
She added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I got through my pain the way I always deal with unpleasant things and that's to make a joke of it."
But the 'Interstellar' star has remained philosophical when it comes to her future.
She added: "No matter what your dreams are, you're always surprised by whatever life hands you. There's a great quote that I love which says, 'Regardless of desire, life hands you who you are.' I wish I knew who said that. It was a really cool person."

One of Robin Williams' final films has been recut in order to be a "fitting tribute" to the late star.
The 63-year-old actor - who committed suicide in August - had been working on 'A Merry Friggin' Christmas' shortly before his death and director Tristram Shapeero has changed the planned ending in order to honour the screen icon.
He told the New York Daily News newspaper's Confidenti@l column: "We talked to the production company and we said, 'We need to recut it, we need to restore it. We need to do some work to make it a fitting tribute to Robin."
Robin portrayed a recovering alcoholic and imperfect father in the film and his co-star Joel McHale, 42, says working with him was an emotional experience.
He said: "[His character] wasn't super serious and it wasn't super wacky. "I think in real life people are like that, they become hilarious in how serious they are.
"[One scene] was pretty emotionally charged, and it was the first time I was ever asked to break down on camera, and we both were breaking down.
"We had to do it over and over again, and the emotion just burst out of Robin."
Clark Duke, 29, who plays Robin's son in the movie, hailed his late co-star a "hero" and was thrilled to work alongside him.
He said: "When you meet one of your heroes, you set yourself up to be disappointed. But he was just so great, and it was kind of surprising just how good of a guy he was."
'A Merry Friggin' Christmas' - which hits US cinemas later this week - is one of four movies the late actor had worked on before his death that have not yet been released.
Over the Christmas period, he can be seen again as Teddy Roosevelt in 'Night of the Museum: Secret of the Tomb', which finished production in May and will be released on December 19.
Additionally, the 'Aladdin' star lent his voice to animated pooch Dennis the Dog in live-action comedy 'Absolutely Anything', which also features Simon Pegg and Kate Beckinsale and will be released some time next year.
A fourth film, 'Boulevard', debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year but has yet to find theatrical distribution.

Rupert Grint used to dream his legs had been replaced by forks.
The 26-year-old star admits he used wake up in a "complete state of panic" after dreaming his legs had turned into the cutlery items, but he couldn't get anybody to believe him when he told them about his nighttime imaginings.
He said: "I used to have this really weird dream. No one ever really believes me but I dream I have forks for legs. Weird, isn't it?
"I'm in a complete state of panic because my legs are forks."
The 'Harry Potter' star's bizarre dreams are not the only unusual thing in his life as he wakes up every morning in his New York apartment to see a man with a bird on his head cycling past his pad.
He explained: "There's a cyclists who cycles past my apartment most days with a cockatoo on his head. It does cheer me up when I see that."
As well as the cockatoo cyclist, the 'Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman' actor also has a penchant for pets and has been kitting out his tortoise Madeleine with knitwear ready for the winter.
He added to Metro newspaper: "I just bought knitwear for my pet tortoise, Madeleine, for winter.

"They're made to order, they look great."

David Gandy insists Romeo Beckham only gets modelling jobs because of his famous parents.
The 34-year-old model spoke out after discovering Romeo, 12 - who is one of retired soccer star David and his fashion designer wife Victoria Beckham's four children - had become the face of Burberry's Christmas 2014 campaign.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he said: "Who's Romeo? Oh that's Beckham's son. I think the Beckham name will have helped that one."
Romeo - who is brother to Brooklyn, 15, Cruz, nine, and three-year-old sister Harper - first modelled for the British fashion house in 2013 and since then they are said to have experienced a huge spike in sales.
Meanwhile, David - who featured in the campaigns for brands including Hugo Boss, Dolce & Gabbana and British high-street store Marks & Spencer - recently reunited with former flame, The Saturdays singer Mollie Sims.
And despite having only been back together a matter of weeks, David has hinted he thinks they will be together for some time, as Mollie has her own drawer at his London home.
Speaking previously about his girlfriend's separate space for her smalls, he said: "That may be there for a while, so uh..."
Quizzed on whether they had any plans to get married, he added: "There you go...Even though she steals all my clothes."

Tom Cruise is reportedly dating Miranda Kerr.
The 'Edge of Tomorrow' star is said to have been smitten with the Australian model after meeting her at a social event just a month after she announced her split from her husband Orlando Bloom - with whom she has three-year-old son Flynn.
An insider told Australia's New Idea magazine: "Since last November, when they were introduced at a private dinner in London, Tom hasn't been able to get Miranda out of his mind!"
The 52-year-old actor has been single since his marriage to former 'Dawson's Creek' star Katie Holmes broke down in 2012 but is now said to be dating Miranda, who was previously rumoured to have been dating her close friend James Packer.
The source continued: "With James out of the way, Tom and Miranda have exchanged several phone calls and have even met up in secret every time she's flown into London. He's smitten!"
Miranda is also said to remind Tom - who has daughter Suri with Katie - of his ex-wife Nicole Kidman, with whom he has son Connor and daughter Isabella.
The sourced added: "She's even more gorgeous than Katie and has that sexy Aussie accent that made him fall in love with Nicole [Kidman]."

A friend of the supermodel said: "Miranda loves rich men, powerful men and Tom ticks all those boxes."

Jamie Dornan was no good with girls at school.
The 32-year-old actor has confessed that although he's now admired as a handsome model, he had no luck with the opposite sex as a teenager because of his youthful looks.
He told The Observer magazine: "I didn't do particularly well with girls at school. I was always very young looking. And my sister's friends would always say: 'You're so cute.'
"I f**king hated that. If you are a skinny, baby-faced teenager, the last thing you want to hear is that you're cute."
However, the star - who plays Christian Grey in the much-anticipated film adaptation of 'Fifty Shades of Grey' - revealed that his luck changed as he grew older when he started growing facial hair, and now feels like his trademark beard is an important part of being him.
He confessed: "I feel uncomfortable without it. I find myself moving differently. I don't like myself without a beard."
Despite being viewed as being the ideal man by women across the world, the hunk still isn't satisfied with his image, and admitted that the one thing he dislikes about his appearance is his nose which "bends to the right," due to it being broken twice.

Brigitte Bardot hates feminism.
The estranged actress and singer has said she does not support the movement for female empowerment and is instead an advocate of male rights.
When asked if she considers herself to be a feminist, she told You magazine: "No. I hate feminism. I am a masculinist."
The French star is one of the most iconic sex symbols of the 1950s, and was once described by the renowned philosopher Simone de Beauvoir as the "locomotive of women's history", despite her current stance.
When prompted to elaborate on her statement, she replied: "I think women do what they want."
The former model also spoke about her passion for animal rights, and expressed some strong views on eating animal meat, which she likened to consuming human flesh.
She said: "To eat the flesh of animals is akin to cannibalism.
"A huge number of people are insensitive to the suffering of animals, for which they have a deep contempt.
"They consider them objects of profitability or meat on legs."
The passionate star - who featured in the controversial 1957 film 'And God Created Woman' before retiring from entertainment in 1973 - concluded by saying she has little hope for the animals of the world because of the evil nature of mankind.
When questioned as to why she thought humans have such little compassion towards animals, she said: "Because man has not evolved. He has stayed fundamentally cruel and barbaric, even if he thinks he has moved on.
"The industrialisation of the rearing and death of animals takes away all my hope of it every improving."
