Pippa Middleton’s Scottish wedding

Pippa Middleton’s wedding will have a Scottish theme.
The 33-year-old socialite is set to wed her partner James Matthews in the village of Englefield in Berkshire on Saturday (20.05.17) but the couple are determined to give their 300 guests a day to remember as well as they’ve arranged for a huge selection of grub – including haggis canapés and lamb – from the region around Glen Affric.
They’ve also hired a bagpiper, had some of the finest whiskey transported to the venue and received £40,000 worth of caviar, which was donated by an anonymous Russian.
A source told the Daily Mail newspaper: "Everything will be Scottish in nature – bagpipes, the lot."
It’s not known why the couple are so keen to incorporate Scotland into their lavish wedding as Pippa – the sister of the Duchess of Cambridge – isn’t believed to have any ties to the country except from the fact she did go to Edinburgh University.
James, on the other hand, is well connected to Scotland as his father David owns a castle and 10,000-acre estate just a short drive from Loch Ness in the Highlands.
And the brunette beauty has made sure no expenses are spared on her big day as she will travel from her parents’ home in Bucklebury to the church in Englefield in a horse and carriage.
A source said: "I have heard on good authority that Pippa will be riding in a carriage from Bucklebury to the church in Englefield, just like a princess. A livery yard owner has been told that she will be driven in a carriage to the church."
Plans are also being made in terms of policing now it has been confirmed that Prince Harry’s girlfriend Meghan Markle will be attending the wedding alongside her royal partner.
A source explained: "A police officer told all the villagers that once the announcement was made that Megan was definitely coming, security planning went into overdrive.
"That security has been in evidence in the village and the police said it had been taken up several notches with the announcement because of the media interest in her and her relationship with Prince Harry. She has international appeal and there are Spanish film crews in the village. People might come here just because of her."
