Will Ferrell accepts Chad Smith’s drum challenge

Will Ferrell has accepted a "drum-off" challenge set by Red Hot Chili Peppers' drummer Chad Smith.
The 'Anchorman' actor is known for looking strikingly similar to the famous drummer and has now agreed to a musical duel if they manage to raise enough money for charity.
Last week, Will joked about the uncanny similarity in looks between him and Chad during a 'Reddit Ask Me Anything' chat, which led to the Red Hot Chili Peppers member challenging him.
Will replied during another AMA and wrote: "Hi, Chad. Will Ferrell here. I saw your video and I graciously accept your invitation to a drum battle. If we can raise $300,000 (£182,000) for Cancer For College I will face off with you in the greatest drum vs. cowbell showdown the world has ever seen.
"We can do it on stage at a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert or in front of a mutually convenient public library. Your call."
He added: "Also, would you rather fight a hundred duck sized ducks or one horse sized horse?"
Chad also joked about the comedian in the AMA, which he hosted, writing: "I have to comment that I think Mr. Ferrell is a delusional imposter. It seems to me that he has gone off his meds and he needs to seek professional help because I am obviously more talented and handsome than he is.
"You know, his cowbell work is well-documented, but his drumset skills are nominal based on 'Step Brothers' the film.
"Other than wiping his testicles on the drums, which of course I give high marks to."
Meanwhile, earlier this week it was confirmed that Red Hot Chili Peppers' instruments were not plugged in during their Super Bowl performance.

Prince Charles hasn’t heard of Christina Aguilera

Britain's Prince Charles has 'no idea' who Christina Aguilera is.
The 65-year-old royal has never heard of the 'Candyman' hitmaker but insists he's a great fan of classical music and "gently persuaded" his daughter-in-law, Duchess Catherine, on her wedding songs when she married his son Prince William.
The prince spoke about his musical tastes during a tour of Global Radio in London yesterday (11.01.14), which owns stations such as Heart, Capital and Classic FM, with his wife, Duchess Camilla.
During a chat with Heart FM's Toby Anstis, he asked what music was playing to the listeners, to which he was told they had chosen a track by US superstar Christina, but he looked blank and appeared not to know who she was.
Although he proved he knew his pop history later in the day when he met with Heart presenter Emma Bunton and asked the former Spice Girl about the band - which also featured Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Mel B and Mel C.
Emma said: "He is always such a lovely man and it was so nice to see him again. He was asking me about when the Spice Girls were going to reunite.
"That puts a bit of pressure on you! He always asked after the rest of the girls and how they are doing."
Emma's colleague, Jamie Theakston, added: "I think they were both quite fascinated to see how it all worked behind the scenes. They are clearly great radio listeners."

Kavana has revealed he’s gay

Kavana has revealed he is gay.
The 36-year-old singer - real name Anthony Kavanagh - has kept the truth about his sexuality under wraps for the past 14 years, but has now opened up and admitted he's homosexual.
Speaking to Now magazine, he said: "Part of me is almost embarrassed that it's taken me this long to publicly say I'm gay.
"Here I am, aged 36, coming out - what am I doing? I've never come out publicly because no one's ever asked. It's become this huge elephant in the room."
The 'Big Reunion' star regrets not telling his father about his sexuality before his passing four years ago.
He explained: "I think he knew [I was gay].
"He used to say, 'As long as you're happy, just be yourself' and 'It wouldn't matter to me if my son was gay.' "
However, the hunk - who has dated a string of girls in the past - admits, despite coming out, he still finds women attractive.
