Kylie Minogue wants someone who can ‘cope’ with fame

Kylie Minogue needs to date someone who can "cope" with fame.
The 45-year-old singer, who split up from her long-term boyfriend Andres Velencoso last October, admits she could only be with someone who would be able to keep up with her hectic lifestyle.
When asked during a Q&A session with her fellow 'The Voice' coach Ricky Wilson today (11.03.14) what she looks for in a man, she replied: "Charisma, humour, someone who can cope with my crazy lifestyle, cope with Kylie and all of that too."
The 'Wow' hitmaker will release her forthcoming album 'Kiss Me Once' on March 17, which took the blonde beauty in a different direction after she split from her manager of 25 years Terry Blamey.
She explained: "I had an epiphany, a huge realisation, this calm came over me, I need to do things differently, which made for an exciting change. Which was why I signed onto 'The Voice', I didn't want to become a parody of myself.
"I spent New Years Eve on my own, I stayed home alone, as I wanted to stay true to my epiphany"

Susanna Reid ‘getting on’ with life after split

Susanna Reid is getting on with her life "like anybody else" following her split from Dominic Cotton.
The 'BBC Breakfast' star says she is moving on after making headlines for both her professional and personal life after quitting the BBC for new ITV breakfast show 'Good Morning Britain', in addition to her separation from the father of her three children.
In her first public comments about the recent upheaval in her life, Susanna said she is dealing with it "like anybody else ... you get on with it".
The 43-year-old broadcaster collected the award for Best News Reporter at the Television and Radio Industries Club (TRIC) Awards in London today (11.03.14), where she downplayed her split from Dominic, with whom she has sons Sam, 11, Finn, nine, and eight-year-old Jack.
Quizzed how her family is doing, she told BANG Showbiz: "We're all fine ... you don't need to worry about us."
Just moments before, the BBC host alluded to "challenging" circumstances in recent weeks in her acceptance speech.
She said onstage: "It's been a challenging couple of weeks. Thank you to everyone that voted. Obviously you know that things have been changing in my life but this is all down to one team, the team at 'BBC Breakfast' who have been utterly brilliant."
Susanna described her new role with ITV - fronting new breakfast show 'Good Morning Britain' with Ben Shephard - as "exciting", but insists there is no pressure on her to improve ratings for the morning slot, which continues to flag behind 'BBC Breakfast' in the ratings.
She explained: "I don't think that's the expectation. Our aim will be to create great content, great viewing, and hope that people love watching it. My job as a journalist and a presenter is to make the best programmes possible.
"I'm not nervous at the moment. Obviously, live broadcasting is always nerve-racking. I'm excited. I'm really excited."
And the former 'Strictly Come Dancing' contestant looks forward to the challenge of working on a brand new show.
Quizzed on why she wanted to move from BBC to ITV, Susanna added: "It was the fact that this was something completely new, that we could create a programme ... and it's a big challenge, obviously, but it's exciting - you don't get many opportunities in broadcasting to do something like that. It was something I couldn't turn down."

Chelsea Handler ‘understood’ by Brits

Chelsea Handler thinks British men "understand" her.
The 39-year-old talk show host is currently single and finds it hard to meet guys her own age in the US because she can be intimidating and her sarcastic sense of humour leaves them perplexed, and she joked it is best when she meets guys who can't speak any English.
She said: "British men understand me. And you know, certain men understand me. But I have to go abroad a lot to deal with men. I mean, then, when there's a language barrier, that works to my favour because they don't really understand what I'm saying. And they don't understand my sarcasm.
"And it's better because then I can just look cute and just giggle and whatever men like.
"But in America, it's a little bit tougher for me. Men are a little bit like 'Oh, god, here she comes'.
"Older men like me. Older men, because they've been around the block and they've seen it all. And gay men love me. But men my own age, it's kind of tricky."
Though she is single, the blonde star admitted there are a number of guys "around" who she can enjoy casual dates with.
Speaking to talk show host Piers Morgan, she said: "There are a couple of boys around and everybody knows what the story is. I mean, they know what the story is. They know that there are, you know, it's a nice casual...
"I'm on tour. So I just meet people on different cities and that are around."

Barack Obama slams The Hangover trilogy

Barack Obama has mocked 'The Hangover Part III' during an interview with Zach Galifianakis.
The US President showed his sense of humour during an appearance on 'Between Two Ferns', a spoof chat show hosted by the actor - who played Alan Garner in the comedy franchise - as he also criticised the host's acting skills.
The 44-year-old actor asked Obama: "What is it like to be the last black president? It must kinda stink, though, that you can't run three times," to which the president replied: "No, actually, I think it's a good idea. If I ran a third time it would sorta be like doing a third 'Hangover' movie ... it didn't really work out very well did it?"
He went on to say: "I have to say I've seen this show before and some of the episodes have probably been a little bit better than this. For example, the one with Bradley Cooper, that was a great show," adding, "He kinda carried that movie didn't he?"
Zach is seen shuffling in his seat before asking: "Which film are you speaking of?" and Obama quipped, "Those 'Hangover' movies, basically, he carried them."
Obama, 52, described Bradley, who was Zach's co-star in the movies, as a "good looking guy" and the comedian hit back, saying: "Good for him ... being like that in Hollywood, that's easy, try being short, fat and smell like Doritos and try and make it in Hollywood."
Zach went on to call the president a "nerd", an insult he laughed off.
He responded: "Do you think a woman like Michelle would marry a nerd, why don't you ask if she thinks I'm a nerd?"
Obama was also quizzed about sending "ambassador Dennis Rodman" to North Korea and outlawing "same-sex divorce".
The interview, which was recorded two weeks ago, helped to promote healthcare.gov and was posted on website Funny or Die today (11.03.14).
Obama followed in the footsteps of stars including Justin Bieber and James Franco who have appeared in the cult online videos.

Jennifer Lopez is more confident

Jennifer Lopez feels "more confident" than ever.
The 44-year-old 'American Idol' judge - who is currently working on the talent show and filming a new TV drama, as well as preparing to release her 10th album and overseeing her clothing line for Kohls - no longer worries about failing because she is always ready to pick herself up from a setback.
She said: "I feel like I felt when I was 28. My bones don't hurt. I feel great. I actually feel better, more confident. Of course I still have the nerves, but now I know how to control them. When I was in my twenties, I wasn't sure of myself. Now I can really stretch. I don't have to stay in the box. At this point I can say to myself, 'So what if I fall, so what?' I'm going to get back up."
The 44-year-old star - who has six-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony - believes there has been a shift in recent years to celebrate older women and she thinks females in the spotlight can now enjoy longer careers.
Speaking to the new edition of America's InStyle magazine, she said: "The turning point was a couple of years ago when the September issue of women's magazines had cover girls who were all over 40 - Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts, me. It was hard not to be happy. That says something about our society. People used to believe their life - or at least their life as a performer - was over at 28 or some ungodly age! God, when I think of myself back then, I had no idea who I was. I think I'm barely getting that under control now."

Tinie Tempah more confident with girls

Tinie Tempah feels more "confident" around women because of his new exercise regime.
The 25-year-old rapper has transformed his physique in the gym in recent months, and admits he now feels "hotter" than ever.
He said: "Even when I date girls, there's so much of a difference when you're working out and taking pride in your appearance. You're more confident, you feel hotter.
"Exercise has definitely spilled over into everything else. Just knowing how hard you have to work; you realise it's no different to any other aspect of your life."
The 'Pass Out' hitmaker decided to get in shape because of the mental and physical challenges involved with a gruelling tour and now loves the buzz he gets from exercise.
Speaking to the new edition of Men's Health magazine, he said: "I was doing loads of touring off and I started to realise how much effort you have to put in and how much stamina you need; the stages were getting bigger, the sets were getting longer.
"So the physical aspect prompted me to go to the gym, but also the mental aspect. It's almost like a different kind of wake-up call. You wake up and go to the gym then you're really awake, because you're sweating, your heart rate's up... that was what kept me coming back.
"More so than it being about having everything, being in shape shows discipline and that you're not lazy within yourself."
The Men's Health Urban Active April issue is on sale now, and is also available in digital format.

Prince George’s nanny is married to her job

Prince George's new nanny is "married to the job".
The eight-month-old son of Britain's Prince William and Duchess Catherine will soon be looked after by the child-minder who is said to be dedicated to the role.
A source told HELLO! magazine: "She has worked for other high-profile families and it was from there that the Cambridges heard of her and hired her."
The friend added: "She is not married and doesn't have a boyfriend, as her life is totally dedicated to the family she is working with. She is known for being totally professional - married to the job."
The new nanny, who is reportedly in her 30s, is not caring for George this week, as he's staying with his grandparents, Carole and Michael Middleton, while William, 31, and Catherine, 32, enjoy a romantic break in the Maldives.
The new nanny will accompany the family during their 19-day royal visit to Australia and New Zealand next month.
The couple are thought to have recruited the new child-minder to look after their tot after their current nanny Jessie Webb, 71, who previously looked after William when he was a child, gave her notice last month.
Royal press secretary Miguel Head appeared to confirm the recruitment in an itinerary for the upcoming trip, which was released to media recently.
William, Catherine and George will visit Australia and New Zealand between April 7 and April 25.

Queens of the Stone Age: We’d play Grammys again

Queens of the Stone Age would think about playing the Grammys again if bosses "got their sh*t together".
The rock band - made up of Josh Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita and Jon Theodore - played the ceremony last month but were left unimpressed after their set was cut short for the commercials.
Frontman Josh is now trying to forget the incident and told Faster Louder: "I'd play anywhere. I don't care about the drama. I don't think it's necessary to worry or sweat the rest of this stuff. Just go and play your music ... I don't like to be disrespected, but nobody likes that."
Josh, 40, previously told an audience at a gig in the US: "F**k the Grammys" but insists he was misunderstood and was actually "really drunk" and simply reacting to banter from the crowd.
Asked during a fan Q&A if the band would play the awards ceremony again, he replied: "If they got their sh*t together, maybe," adding, "I'm in a band, I go play music wherever I'm supposed to go play, you can't sweat this other stuff, it's not that big of a deal."
Queens Of The Stone Age are currently in Australia for a joint tour with Nine Inch Nails, which continues in Perth tomorrow night (12.03.14).
The band have also announced they will headline this year's Leeds and Reading Festivals in August with Paramore, Arctic Monkeys and Blink 182.

Lily Allen: My new singles are rubbish

Lily Allen has admitted her new singles are "rubbish".
The 'Air Balloon' singer, who will release her new album 'Sheezus' in May, has blamed radio stations and her record labels for not playing her "better" material.
She made the admission after a fan took to Twitter yesterday (10.03.14) to tell the star he thinks her new music is "docile pop rubbish", adding, "So disappointing. She properly just wrote some rubbish to cash some cheques. (sic)"
The 28-year-old singer was quick to fire back and told the follower: "What you've heard so far yes. All i can do is do my best, the labels and the radio stations won't play the better stuff. (sic)"
The fan then told the star: "Fair play, still gonna buy Sheezus see what the rest offers. I have faith! Chinese is one of my favourite songs of all time. (sic)," to which Lily responded, "Keep the faith."
The singer, whose new album drops on May 5, has so far released four tracks from the record including hits 'Hard Out Here' and 'Air Balloon', along with 'L8 CMMR' and her new single 'Our Time'.
Meanwhile, she recently admitted she is more popular in other countries than she is in the UK.
Speaking on 'The Michael McIntyre Chat Show' on Monday night (10.03.14), she told the comedian: "I'm a lot more popular around the world than I am here," adding, "My biggest territories are France and Australia."

The Inbetweeners 2 set for August UK release

'The Inbetweeners 2' will be released in the UK and Ireland on August 6.
The comedy will have Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison and Joe Thomas reprise their roles as Will McKenzie, Jay Cartwright, Neil Sutherland and Simon Cooper respectively, as they head to Australia, in the sequel to the 2011's hit film.
The films are based on the E4 sitcom of the same name, which was created and written by Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, and followed the story of teenager Will and his three of his friends at Rudge Park Comprehensive.
The cast were a "tight-knit family" while they worked on the series and 'The Inbetweeners Movie', and came on board quickly when the decision to make a sequel arose.
A source previously said: "It wasn't easy for any of the guys involved to call it a day after the last film. They were a tight-knit family and really missed each other when it all came to an end.
"The writers, Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, have been knocking ideas around for a while and came up with something they thought would be good enough to maintain the high standards they have set.
"They never thought all the lads would be up for coming back so soon as they have become big stars in their own right. But when James said he was game the other week, everything seemed to click into place."
Emily Berrington, Freddie Stroma and David Field are new cast additions.
