Lupita Nyong'o and Scarlett Johansson are in talks to star in 'The Jungle Book'.
The stunning actresses are both in negotiations to join Idris Elba in Disney's latest adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's classic children's book, which will be directed by 'Iron Man' helmer Jon Favreau.
Oscar-winning '12 Years a Slave' star Nyong'o is close to closing a deal to play Rakcha, a wolf mother who adopts the film's protagonist, Mowgli.
Meanwhile, Johansson - who is pregnant with her first child with fiancé Romain Dauriac - is expected to take on a voice role as Kaa, a python who eats her rival animals by hypnotising them.
Kaa is one of the film's main villains along with Shere Khan, a man-eating tiger voiced by 'Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom' star Elba.
'The Jungle Book' script comes from Justin Marks, whose previous credits include 'Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li'.
The movie is expected to be live action while also utilising CGI.
Johansson already has a strong relationship with Disney, starring in several Marvel movies including recently released blockbuster, 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'.
She is currently filming 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron', reprising her role as Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow.
Meanwhile, a role in 'The Jungle Book' would mark Nyong'o's first new project since winning an Oscar in March.
Caroline Flack always brushes her teeth before she goes on air.
The 34-year-old presenter - who has fronted various ITV2 shows such as 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here NOW!' and 'The Xtra Factor' - still gets nervous before filming and is conscious of cleaning her teeth before she appears on TV because she believes having fresh gnashers helps her talk "more clearly".
She told Star magazine: "I always brush my teeth before I go on air. I don't know why. I think I can talk more clearly."
Asked if her brushing was part of her 'Xtra Factor' routine, she added: "Oh, I always brushed my teeth before that."
Although Caroline is yet to open talks about reprising her spot on 'The X Factor' spin-off show, she isn't too concerned as boss Simon Cowell always leaves things until the last minute and she is currently busy working on 'Viral Tap' with Matt Richardson.
Caroline - who previously dated One Direction hunk Harry Styles -revealed: "We haven't even had that conversation yet (about 'Xtra Factor'. But it's like that every year, so it's nice that we've got this project ['Viral Tap'] to work on together.
"It's a topical show hosted by moi and three comedians. I'd describe it as a mix between 'You've Been Framed' and '8 Out of 10 Cats'. It's a fun new concept ... I thought the other day, 'This is a lot of pressure'. But change is healthy, if I find I'm not nervous something will go wrong."
Gary Lucy's fiancée gave him Botox injections.
The former 'EastEnders' actor's partner Natasha Gray is an anaesthetic nurse and was confident to give the hunky star the wrinkle-smoothing treatment.
Gary was pleased with the results but he won't be having the injections again as ultimately he doesn't think the procedure will be good for his career.
Speaking to OK! magazine, he said: "She did Botox on me and it did knock years off me, but as an actor I need to be expressive. You see people crying on telly and nothing moves - it's not conductive to getting your point across on screen."
Gary - who has children India, eight, and Elvis, two, with Natasha - left his role in 'EastEnders' as bisexual businessman Danny Pennant earlier this year and he thinks his departure was right for himself and the character.
He said: "I enjoyed my time there and it's been left open. I want to challenge myself and my character had no ties left, so in that respect it was the right time to go."
And the 32-year-old star could be busier than ever soon as he and Natasha want another baby.
Natasha said: "We'd like to try for one at the end of the year. It would be nice to have a honeymoon baby."
Rita Ora wants her new album to be a "work of art".
The 23-year-old singer, who recently unveiled 'I Will Never Let You Down' as the first single from her second studio effort, is eager to create a timeless piece of work with her new record and was more concerned with recording songs she felt strongly about rather than lining up big collaborations.
She explained: "It's got a lot of honest truth. It wasn't about collaborations for me - this album was about a work of art and a body of work from Rita. Everyone on the record is there for a reason.
"We have some great producers: DJ Mustard, Diplo's on there.
"I got the honour of seeing Prince work his magic in Paisley Park in Minneapolis. I honestly have to say it was probably one of the best experiences of my life. I want his whole wardrobe! He wrote this incredible poem that I've turned into a song."
Rita also says the laidback vibe of her video for 'I Will Never Let You Down' is reflective of her attitude on the album, which she claims is more liberating than her first record.
She added to Fuse TV: "I didn't want to think too much about it. I just wanted a couple of hot girls and wanted to just dress up and dance on the streets and basically feel free. That's what this album was about and that is what the video was about."
Rita Ora enjoys whips in the bedroom.
The 'I Will Never Let You Down' singer - who is dating Scottish DJ-and-producer Calvin Harris - says her upcoming acting role in the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' movie is "perfect" for her as she is into some of the steamy bondage acts the film will depict.
In an interview with 'The Breakfast Club' on America's Power 105.1 FM, she said: "I mean, I like a whip. This is why 'Fifty Shades' is perfect for me because I really love the book. But I like unexpected stuff. A tiny bit of [pain], not too much."
The 23-year-old beauty also revealed she is looking forward to taking a long break with boyfriend Calvin in the near future and thinks they're "ready" for a holiday together.
She added: "I think [he's] ready for us to go away together, I haven't been away with him in a long time. I want to take my weave out, so it will be nice to spend some quality time."
One subject that proved contentious for the 'R.I.P.' singer, however, was the recurring rumour she once had an affair with her Roc Nation record label boss, Jay Z, who is married to superstar Beyonce.
Rita bit back to the radio show's hosts: "Don't you dare disrespect Beyonce like that ever again in your entire life. You should know better than that ... that's just straight up disrespect. You can't even go there."
George Clooney got into a heated argument over United States President Barack Obama.
The 52-year-old actor, who has vigorously campaigned for the democratic leader in US elections and considers Obama a "long-time friend", abruptly stormed off while dining with billionaire hotel and casino owner Steve Wynn in Las Vegas earlier this month after the magnate branded the US leader an "a**hole".
In a statement issued through his publicist, George told the Las Vegas Review-Journal: "He called the president an a**hole, that is a fact. I said the president was my long-time friend and then he said, 'Your friend is an a**hole.'
"At that point I told Steve that he was an a**hole and I wasn't going to sit at his table while he was being such a jackass."
However, it seems the pair have differing accounts of the incident as Steve claims 'The Monuments Men' star "got drunk" on premium vodka and threw a "hissy fit" when a fellow diner at their table made a joke about former Soviet Union president Mikhail Gorbachev.
Steve added: "Clooney's fun to be with when he's sober. If you have a chance to drink with him, you want to get there early, and don't stay late."
According to eyewitnesses, the tense scene nearly became violent as Steve's bodyguards quickly appeared in the midst of the argument after George pointed a finger at the entrepreneur.
An insider told the New York Post newspaper: "Wynn's three goon-like bodyguards immediately loomed up behind Rande [Gerber, George's business partner] and George. Before Wynn's bodyguards could touch them, George and Rande got up and walked out."
Jason O'Mara was worried about "humiliating" himself as Batman.
The 41-year-old actor lends his voice to the iconic superhero in animation 'Son of Batman' and was worried about how he was going to do the character justice.
He said: "I just didn't want to mess it up, to be honest with you. It's celebrating 75 years of Batman. We've had so many great actors play it so well, over the years, in film, on television, and through voice work, that I just didn't want to completely humiliate myself."
O'Mara experimented with different voice types to try and find something that would "work" before he settled on what he used.
Talking to collider.com, he said: "So, when I talked to [voice director] Andrea Romano about how to find this Batman voice, it was really about finding something that was authentic, but also was unique to me. I didn't want to cover ground that had already been covered, so it took awhile. It's like writing a song. You do one version and go, 'Oh, that sounds like someone else, or something else.' And then, you do another version and go, 'No, I'm forcing that. I'm pushing that.' And so, you try to come across something where you can go, 'Yeah, that could work.'"
John Legend thinks he'll be a "good dad".
The 'All Of Me' singer, who married Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen last year, is looking forward to starting a family with his wife and isn't daunted by the thought of becoming a father for the first time.
He told BANG Showbiz: "I'm looking forward to it [having children]. We definitely want to have multiple kids, I don't like the only child thing.
"I grew up with three siblings ... I like the idea of that. Hopefully, if our biological processes are working, we'll have a few. I think I'd be a pretty good dad. The hardest part would be with my schedule and my travel, but I have the temperament to be a good dad."
The 35-year-old star will encourage his children to listen to music and appreciate art, even if they don't show talent for either.
He said: "I'd like them to have good taste in music, even if they're not talented. I think if you surround them with art and music they just find what they love to do the most. Whether it's music, painting or dancing. I want them to have an appreciation for art."
John's album 'Love in the Future' is out now.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are spending £200,000 on a temporary balcony at their wedding venue.
The couple - who have 10-month-old daughter North together - are expected to tie the knot at France's Chateau Louis XIV next month and are keen to replicate the first public kiss between Prince William and Duchess Catherine after they married three years ago, so will have the outdoor gallery constructed to embrace on outside in front of fans.
A source said: "Architects have quoted £200,000 to build a temporary balcony.
"Kim has fallen in love with the place."
Meanwhile, Kanye has been planning further celebrations, including the wedding rehearsal dinner and cocktails the night before their nuptials, and is in negotiations to exclusively hire both the Eiffel Tower's restaurants, 58 Tour Eiffel and Le Jules Verne, as well its conference room.
And when it comes to drinks, the rapper has ordered £18,000 bottles of bespoke vintage champagne, £15,000 bottles of pinot noir red wine and even a Hennessey Beaute du Siecle cognac, which, at £120,000 per bottle, is the most expensive in the world.
The source added:" They want to give their guests a real taste of Paris. Kanye is also in talks to hold a spectacular fireworks display to rival the lightshow at the London Olympics."
Kim will wear three dresses over the course of their wedding celebrations and has had her final fittings.
The source told Britain's Grazia magazine: "Kim had final fittings, including a dress Kanye has been overseeing the design of at Givenchy."
Debra Messing feels great after losing 20 pounds.
The former 'Will and Grace' star - who split from Daniel Zelman in June 2012 after 10 years of marriage, with whom she has 10-year-old son Roman - claims she didn't mean to lose so much weight, but is very happy with her new figure after embarking on a healthier lifestyle since their divorce.
The 45-year-old 'The Mysteries of Laura' actress told ABC News: "About two to three years ago, I made a very, very big change to the way I approach nutrition. I think it made a big difference in how I look or at least how I'm perceived to look."
She added: "I lost like 20 pounds. It wasn't my intention, that wasn't why I made the change. I made the change because I was just tired all the time. For a long time, I just accepted that was the plight of a working, single mother. You're juggling everyday."
The actress, who started dating her 'Smash' co-star Will Chase shortly after splitting from Daniel, drinks homemade green vegetable juices every morning, which helps her to stick to her diet for the rest of the day.
She said: "At least I know I'm starting my day and getting a big shot of nutrients that I need. I start out strong."
She added: "I'm just eating really, really clean healthy foods. Obviously I knew there was an association between what I ate and whether I gained 10 pounds or lost 10 pounds, but it never really became a reality for me that it shows on the outside in your hair and skin and even the clarity of your eyes. I was just stubborn."
Khloé Kardashian's new boyfriend's neighbours are reportedly unhappy about their romance.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' started dating rapper French Montana last month, following her split from Lamar Odom in December after four years of marriage, and residents living beside the 'Pop That' hitmaker in New Jersey are worried the 29-year-old beauty will bring drama to their small community.
A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com: "Khloé is not welcome in the neighbourhood.
"This is a quiet bedroom community. No one wants Khloé around and all of the ruckus she brings. Having her here is a complete nuisance. She's going to bring paparazzi and disturb the peace the neighbourhood."
The couple enjoyed a low key trip to the area last weekend.
The insider said: "She was over there this past weekend and they spent most of the day inside. They were holed up for a romantic time. They definitely weren't playing stickball of lawn darts at the house."
But the Moroccan-born singer's neighbours don't think their relationship will last.
The source said: "French lives a really modest life in New Jersey. His house is one of the nicest in the town, but the town isn't really that exclusive. He probably doesn't have enough money for her."
Diane Keaton still supports Woody Allen despite allegations he sexually abused his adopted daughter as a child.
The 'Annie Hall' star, who dated the 'Blue Jasmine' director for five years when they first met almost five decades ago and has starred in eight of his movies, insists Dylan Farrow's recent accusations that he molested her when she was seven haven't affected their friendship.
The Oscar-winning actress told the May issue of More magazine: "I'm Woody's friend and I've been Woody's friend for 45 years. And nothing's going to change that."
French actress Vanessa Paradis, who has been working with the 78-year-old filmmaker on 'Fading Gigolo,' also recently voiced her support for Woody.
She said: "Woody is brilliant, there's no other way to say it."
Dylan's mother Mia Farrow first made the abuse claims during a 1992 custody battle with Woody and the allegations were investigated but later dropped without charge.
Meanwhile, Diane, who has two adopted children, Duke, 13, and Dexter, 18, has dated a number of other Hollywood stars, including Warren Beatty and Al Pacino, in the past, but claims she never got married because she never met the man of her dreams.
She said: "I told myself I wanted to. But I didn't really want a man that I could have... I wanted the dream."
