Reeva Steenkamp "wanted to leave" Oscar Pistorius' home at the time of her death.
The model was attempting to escape the London 2012 Paralympian's house in Pretoria, South Africa, following an argument just before he shot her dead through the bathroom door, chief prosecutor Gerrie Nel has claimed during the athlete's murder trial.
Attempting to pick holes in Oscar's argument that he mistook his then-girlfriend for an intruder, the prosecutor said: "Why would she leave her jeans on the floor if everything else is in her overnight bag? She wanted to leave, and you weren't sleeping, you were both awake and there was an argument."
He also refuted the double-amputee's version of events that she hadn't eaten for hours before she was shot dead in the early hours of 14 February last year.
Gerrie added: "That is, as far as your case is concerned, devastating for your version that eight hours after she was killed, there was still that amount of food in her stomach. I put it to you that she must have eaten within two hours of her death."
Oscar broke down in tears several times, forcing the court to adjourn, as he was asked to clarify supposed inconsistencies in his story and was accused of using his emotional behaviour as an "escape".
The prosecutor said: "Today I'm going to prove your version of events is untrue. That you tailored your version, concocted your story.
"Your version is so improbable that it cannot reasonably possibly be true."
He also ferociously quizzed the Paralympian over his account that he had heard a door closing in the toilet, making him believe intruders might be there.
He said: "There's not a single word of the door shutting in your bail statement, why not?"
Oscar replied, "I'm not sure - I don't know why", while Gerrie continued, "It's even more devastating that it's not in your plea statement", adding, "It's because you invented it."
The cross-examination continues.
Britain's Prince William has revealed he is training for his commercial pilot's licence.
The 31-year-old royal, who quit his role in the Royal Air Force (RAF) last year, has already obtained his private pilot's licence, but he wants to be able to fly civilian planes.
The prince told Peter Townsend, the chief executive of Canterbury Employers' Chamber of Commerce, about his plans during a visit to the Air Force Museum of New Zealand today (14.04.14).
According to the Daily Express newspaper, Mr Townsend said: "He told me that being in a hall full of aircraft made him long to be flying again. He's got his private licence and he's hoping for his commercial one."
A commercial pilot's licence allows the holder to fly single-pilot planes for a living or act as a co-pilot on a multi crew aircraft, but there is a higher qualification which allows the holder to be in charge of a multi crew aircraft.
William has also hinted that he'd like to be able to combine his official royal duties with his passion for flying in the future by taking on a public service role.
Later this year, the Duke of Cambridge will take on a new role within the public service, but he has not yet decided whether he'll be taking on full-time royal duties, working for a government department or another venture.
Meanwhile, William is currently on a three-week tour of Australia and New Zealand with his wife Duchess Catherine and their nine-month-old son Prince George.
Professor Green has postponed his 12-date headline tour due to a "mental" 18 months.
The 'Just Be Good To Green' rapper, who was banned from driving for a year after pleading guilty to drink-driving last month, was set to play venues across Britain in May but has pushed the gigs back for the second time until November and December.
In a statement posted on his website today (14.04.14), he said: "Dear all, the last 18 months have been mental, turbulent, up and down, round and round, amazing, horrible, happy, sad, frustrating, testing, trying and above all incredibly f***ing stressful."
The 30-year-old rapper, who is married to former reality TV star Millie Mackintosh, claims he wanted to release his new album 'Growing Up In Public' last year but it was delayed back along with the tour, which was moved to May and has now been postponed again.
He continued: "As most of you are aware a lot has happened in my wonderfully colourful day to day life.
"I got hit by a car, got married and then had my life turned upside down [after being arrested]."
He insists the album is now complete and is in fact better because of the "chaos", although he won't apologise for it being late.
Professor Green explained: "I'd be sorry if it was sh*t, there's no coming back from that. No one ever released a great album late - albums are done when they're done, there is in fact no such thing as a late album - so there.
"You lot have been there the whole way and I can't wait to get this album out for you all to hear and to get back on stage without a gammy knee or a looming bail date."
He added: "Back before you know it, I can't wait to see you in November when we can sing our little hearts out together."
The star signed off, "Greeners xx P.S. You just bloody wait for what happens at the drop!!!"
Professor Green also teased new track 'I'm Not Your Man' on his website, taken from the upcoming record.
Blondie's Debbie Harry joined Arcade Fire on stage at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival last night (13.04.14).
The veteran rocker performed with the six-piece band on the closing night of week one of the event in Indio, California.
Debbie, 68, sang with the band's Régine Chassagne on her 1978 hit 'Heart Of Glass', before staying to perform their song 'Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)', after which frontman Win Butler shouted, "Debbie f****ng Harry" to the crowd.
The band were introduced by a man wearing a suit made of broken mirrors and opened up their set with 'Reflektor'.
Win said: "Alright guys, we're gonna give you every ounce of what we've got if you give it back to us (sic)."
The singer, who is married to Régine, also slammed Coachella's "fake VIP room b******t," telling the audience the exclusive area in the festival grounds "super sucks" and not to worry about not getting access.
Fans sat in the non-VIP beer garden next to the area cheered and Win also quipped: "Shout-out to all the bands still playing actual instruments at this festival."
The band - also made up of Richard Reed Parry, William Butler, Jeremy Gara, Tim Kingsbury - also handled a power cut well, telling fans to "keep singing" before marching into the crowd with a megaphone.

'The Jump' star Melinda Messenger was worried other contestants would think her romance with instructor Warren Smith was "unprofessional".
The 43-year-old TV personality struck up a relationship with the sportsman on the reality show last year and, although the pair wanted to be honest with the other competitors, they were worried about how their behaviour would come across.
She explained: "We did have that conversation of 'How's this going to go down? What if they think it's unprofessional?' We were both there to do a job after all."
Warren agreed: "I was very conscious that it might be awkward. There was a really great energy all around of the 12 people I was coaching on the show and I didn't want the atmosphere to change.
"But at the same time we wanted to be honest and upfront because that's what we're like as people, anyway, it's the core of our relationship."
However, Melinda and Warren were thrilled when they found out the other stars were happy for them, especially Sinitta who noticed their chemistry before they did.
Melinda added to HELLO! magazine: "She [Sinitta] said all along there was something there, even when I couldn't see it. So she'd try and encourage things along."
'Britain's Got Talent's dancing grandma Paddy Jones didn't notice Simon Cowell had pressed his red buzzer.
The show boss initially rejected the 79-year-old dancer and her partner Nico on the opening show at the weekend (12.04.14), but he was left stunned when the energetic duo launched into a stunning Salsa routine.
However, Paddy claims she didn't let the negative buzz affect her routine because she wasn't actually aware it had been pressed at all.
Speaking on ITV's 'This Morning' today (14.04.14), she said: "I didn't see very much because Nico was moving me around ... it wasn't like I was stood there and could see the audience and get nervous - I was just going around like a whirling dervish!"
However, the flexible grandmother was automatically put through to the next round of the show after judge Amanda Holden pressed the golden buzzer.
Asked what it was like receiving the first ever golden buzzer, she replied: "It was really special. To be the first act to get it was really really super."
Meanwhile, Paddy must have impressed Simon, 54, as he took to Twitter yesterday (13.04.14) to defend her after it emerged she'd already won a Spanish talent show.
He wrote: "Don't knock Paddy for performing on a Spanish talent show. She is British and wants the chance to perform in front of our royal family.
"She is 80 years old. Let her have that chance. You the viewers will decide (sic)".
Jordana Brewster will find it "difficult" filming 'Fast & Furious 7' without Paul Walker.
The 33-year-old actress opened up about reprising work on the action franchise for the first time since the late star was killed in a car crash last November aged just 40.
She told Access Hollywood: "I haven't been to set yet, but I imagine it's going to be very difficult."
Production on the movie has begun in Atlanta, Georgia, and Paul is expected to appear via Computer Generated Imagery (CGI), since the latest instalment of the high-speed adventures was only half completed at the time of his tragic death.
Jordana also recalled her first encounter with active humanitarian Walker and spoke about how privileged she feels to have got to know such a "beautiful" man.
She reminisced: "I just remember seeing this stud walk into the room [the first time] and he had this bleached-out hair. I met him as a baby and I saw him grow into an awesome, amazing, charitable man.
"It's not often you get to work with someone for so many years and he was so exemplary in the way he lived. He was more beautiful inside than out."
Jordana and her co-star Vin Diesel also spoke about Walker at the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles last night (13.04.14) following a moving on-screen tribute to his life and film career.
'Fast & Furious 7' is scheduled for release in April 2015.
Katee Sackhoff filmed "really freaky" horror scenes for 'Oculus'.
The actress stars as mother-of-two Marie Russell whose child Kaylie believes a supernatural force released through an antique mirror in their childhood home is responsible for her death.
The more intense scenes she played opposite Annalise Basso were often unsettling because she was forced to punch and claw at her screen daughter.
She said: "There were scenes were I was just strangling the s**t out of that child, and tripping her and making her fall, and climbing on top of her and punching and clawing. That's just not normal. Most people don't go to work and beat up a 13-year-old. It's a really freaky thing."
However, Sackhoff felt better when the prosthetics were on since it gave her the chance to get into character and feel less like herself.
She explained: "It helped when the prosthetics were on because I really didn't feel like myself. But that first slip that we see, after the mirror first takes her, that was the hardest part because Marie still looks normal, at that point, even though she's going crazy. It was easier at the end, when she looks bad."
Meanwhile, Sackhoff also admitted she would like to star in the sequel to 2013's 'Riddick' and reprise her role as Dahl who she played in the the third installment in 'The Chronicles of 'Riddick' film series.
She told collider.com: "It would be fun [to do another 'Riddick' film]. I like the character. I know that they've talked about doing a fourth movie. I didn't die, so I could be in it. But, I don't know when that would happen. It would have to be written first, and I don't think it is. She's a cool character, and I think we left her with some interesting questions about where she is and what's going to happen next."
Mickey Rooney's children are reportedly contesting his will.
It was revealed last week that the late actor - who died aged 93 earlier this month - had left his entire modest $18,000 estate to his stepson and carer Mark Aber, but his wife Janice and eight children are said to be unhappy with the arrangement and are seeking legal advice.
Janice - who was married to the former child star for 35 years - is claiming the will is invalid as it was made just a month before the 'Night at the Museum' star passed away, when he wasn't in a fit frame of mind to compose such a document.
And Mickey's children, headed by his daughters Kimmy Sue and Kelly Ann, have asked for the will to be examined by legal experts.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "Kimmy Sue especially feels hard done by. She was the only biological child that Mickey was close to, so she's furious to be cut out for a stepson who's only been on the scene a few years.
"There's little love lost between the kids and Jan, and her son Chris, but they all agree that it shouldn't be going to Mark. That's the last person it should be going to."
Though Mickey had just $18,000 in the bank when he died, he is worth more through residuals and royalties.
He disinherited Janice because she will receive Social Security and some of his pension benefits, which total about $8,400 a month.
Selena Gomez' parents didn't realise they had been fired as her managers.
The 21-year-old singer's mother Mandy Teefey and her step-father Brian have controlled her affairs since she shot to fame in 2007, but the brunette beauty decided last month to recruit someone else, and it is only since the news became public last week that the pair realised the decision was final.
Mandy told TMZ she thought their conversation in March was "just talk" and they sat down again with their daughter after the news broke to ensure she was "absolutely sure" she wanted to seek new guidance, and the former Disney star said yes.
The showbiz matriarch insists she respects her daughter's decision and plans to continue producing several projects with her, including the upcoming movie 'The Sky Is Everywhere'.
It was claimed that the 'Spring Breakers' star decided to end their professional relationship as she felt she had "outgrown" her parents.
The 'Come & Get It' hitmaker has argued with Mandy and Brian on many occasions over the direction of her career and her on/off relationship with troubled star Justin Bieber, but it is believed family friction wasn't to blame for their split.
Mandy and Brian made it clear last month that they were unhappy about Selena spending time with Justin, who has had a number of run-ins with the law, as they believe he's responsible for driving her to rehab in January.
A source said previously: "They're doing their best to supervise them. They're tolerating it as long as they know that there is someone who has eyes on them all the time."
Simon Cowell's perspective in life has been altered after becoming a father.
The media mogul became a dad for the first time earlier this year to two-month-old baby Eric - who he had with girlfriend Lauren Silverman - and his former flame Sinitta, who is the tot's godmother, insists the 'X Factor' boss is "more grounded" now.
She said: "He seems so much more calmer and more grounded. It's stressful being an international star, but Eric has given him something bigger. It has altered his perspective on life, give him a new identity. But no, I don't think he's changed any nappies yet."
Sinitta - who has children Magdalena, eight, and seven-year-old Zac - and Lauren bonded while they stayed with Simon on his yacht and she gushed about how the pair are perfect for one another.
She added in an interview with Britain's HELLO! magazine: "Lauren is perfect for him. She's sociable and a lot of fun and he's nurturing and protective. I first met her on holiday in Barbados and we bonded straight away. We were always playing tricks on Simon when we were on his yacht , waking him up early and stealing his breakfast - we called ourselves the naughty little sisters.
"Lauren is a devoted mum and all our children love being together so nothing will change, just get better."
