Michelle Keegan plans ‘chavvy’ leaving party

Coronation Street's Michelle Keegan is having a "chav" themed leaving party.
The brunette beauty, who plays Tina McIntyre in the popular soap, is set to leave next month when her character is killed off and she's reportedly planned a fancy dress party for 100 members of cast and crew where she will say her farewells.
The 26-year-old actress has chosen the theme of "chav", a word which is often used to describe people involved in anti-social behaviour, and Manchester, the city in which the ITV soap is based.
Although some have criticised the choice, as the word "chav" has negative connotations, it's all said to be in good fun.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Tina is chavvy. It's all in good humour and a celebration of her character.
"It is a wake for Tina but also a leaving party as Michelle is moving away from Manchester."
Michelle, whose character has been having an affair with married man Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne), has decided to leave 'Coronation Street' as she's set to marry her former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star fiancé Mark Wright and move closer to his family in Essex.

Samantha Womack rushed to hopsital

Samantha Womack was rushed to hospital after getting pizza stuck in her throat.
The 'EastEnders' actress - who plays Ronnie Mitchell in the soap - got the tasty treat lodged in her throat and had to receive medical attention to ensure her airways were "fully clear" and she was able to breathe.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "It was terrifying for her.
"Once doctors had removed the food they put a camera down her throat to ensure the airway was fully clear."
The blonde beauty was left "deeply embarrassed" following the incident.
Meanwhile, Samantha's alter-ego has been showing a dark side to her since her return to Albert Square last year.
Viewers saw Ronnie murder the nefarious Carl White (Daniel Coonan) - who had been wooing her sister Roxy Mitchell (Rita Simons) - and Samantha admitted the dramatic scenes have been an interesting challenge, but she's glad to be back.
She previously said: "It's strange coming back with such a big storyline and being a different character, but at the same time, it's like coming back to family ... they're all my family, they genuinely are. Even when you're dealing with a difficult storyline and it feels really weird and out of the normal, that's cool creatively. I'm embracing it."

Coronation Street’s Tyrone to call police over Maria’s texts

Tyrone Dobbs will call the police when he finds out Maria Connor is his secret stalker.
The 'Coronation Street' mechanic is left petrified when he discovers his old flame has been texting him pretending to be his violent ex-girlfriend Kirsty Soames (Natalie Gumede), and can't believe his friend Maria would stoop to something so "twisted" as to impersonate the abusive mother of his child.
According to the Daily Star newspaper, when he discovers whose phone the messages are coming from, he will rant: "All this time it's been you! You've terrified me, made me think my kids' lives are in danger. What have I done to you? You're twisted."
Hairdresser Maria, played by Samia Ghadie, has been bombarding Tyrone (Alan Halsall) with texts since he rejected her advances in the wake of her traumatic split from her boyfriend Marcus Dent, who she discovered in bed with another man.
Samia rationalised: "I think Maria wants to be loved. She sees Tyrone and Fiz together and it's just a reminder of what she doesn't have, what she's lost.
"Maria wants him to need her and because Tyrone doesn't think he can lean on Fiz, he turns to Maria for support. It's twisted but Maria feels wanted by Tyrone and because of that she finds it difficult to stop pretending to be Kirsty."

Rosie Fortescue: People are harsh about Spencer

Rosie Fortescue thinks people are too "harsh" with their opinions of Spencer Matthews.
The 'Made In Chelsea' star, who is friends with the reality show ladies' man, thinks it's unfair that people still judge him by his cheating past.
Speaking about the seventh series of the E4 reality show, which began last night (07.04.14), she told BANG Showbiz: "I don't want to give too much away when it comes to the new series [but] Spencer is actually a really nice guy. I think people are sometimes too harsh on him.
"People take it very literally. They see an hour of the show and that's not what we do all week."
Spencer was seen flirting with ex-girlfriend Louise Thompson during the first episode of the new series, who he cheated on a number of times last year, sparking rumours they could end up getting back together.
The programme also saw discussions between Binky Felstead and Alex Mytton, after rumours circulated that he had cheated on her.
Fashion blogger Rosie said: "I don't want to talk for Binky but everyone has their highs and lows. It's my own choice not to have my relationships on the show, it's a part of my life that I'm not willing to give everything away."
But Rosie, 24, insists the "great thing" about being on the show is that she can use her celebrity status to become an ambassador Fashion Targets Breast Cancer Campaign.
All proceeds from the sale of specially designed products from a number of big high street retailers will fund Breakthrough Breast Cancer's life-saving work.
She said: "It's the second year that I've been involved and I love working with the charity and there's some great collaborations this year.
"It's fun styling up the clothes and wearing the pieces out and about. Everyone can get involved and help to raise awareness."
Meanwhile, 'Made In Chelsea' will also host a spin-off show in New York this summer and Rosie is excited for filming to start.
She said: "It hasn't been fully confirmed who's going and everything but it's going to be such an amazing opportunity.
"It's just going to be incredible. It's going to give an insight into a city that is super cool and I have got friends out there as well. It's going to be really fun."

Rob Lowe fears looks obsession

Rob Lowe worries he is a "narcissist".
The hunky actor knows he is good looking but regularly checks with his therapist to ensure he isn't overly preoccupied with his appearance.
He said: "I've had years of psychiatry, and I ask about every six months -- it's sort of like getting your oil checked -- I ask, 'I'm not an actual narcissist, am I?'
"The learned men of psychiatry assure me that I meet none of the medical criteria. The fact that we can even ponder the question immediately disqualifies me from being one."
The 'Sex Tape' actor also claimed his appearance has prevented him from being offered "deep or interesting" roles and thinks it is only now he is getting older that he is able to properly show off his range.
He told the New York Times magazine: "There's this unbelievable bias and prejudice against quote-unquote good-looking people, that they can't be in pain or they can't have rough lives or be deep or interesting.
"They can't be any of the things that you long to play as an actor. I'm getting to play those parts now and loving it. When I was a teen idol, I was so goddamn pretty I wouldn't have taken myself seriously."
And Rob, 50, admitted he was a "nerd" who no one thought of as "cool" until he found fame.
He added: "My deep dark secret is that I was a nerd in school. I liked the theater. I liked to study. I wasn't very good at sports. It took being famous to make me cool, which, by the way, I never forgot."

Lindsay Lohan causes Coachella concern

Lindsay Lohan's friends are "worried" about her plans to attend the Coachella festival.
The 'Mean Girls' star - who recently confessed to having "one glass of wine" since leaving rehab for the sixth time - is planning to head to the Californian music festival later this month with her mother Dina, but those close to her are not confident the showbiz matriarch will be able to prevent her daughter from resisting "temptation.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "Lindsay should not be going to Coachella.
"And having Dina with her isn't really making anyone feel comfortable that she will be a good chaperone. It's a big alcohol and drug festival and it is the last place that Lindsay should be.
"Lindsay swears that she'll stay sober, but Coachella is a huge party and there are going to be so many temptations for her. Everyone is really worried about her."
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old actress - who attended last year's event with her 16-year-old brother Cody before checking in to court-ordered rehab - reportedly turned up late to an Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting and left early around the time of her relapse.
An insider claimed Lindsay attended the group near her New York apartment but made little effort to engage with the other participants.
The source said: "She took a seat in the back of the room with her sober coach. She seemed bored.
"Lindsay didn't seem interested in speaking with anyone. She stuck to herself.
"It's unheard of to arrive late or to leave a meeting early. It was shocking."

Kristin Cavallari: Second pregnancy is difficult

Kristin Cavallari is finding pregnancy is more difficult this time around.
The former reality star - who rose to fame on 'The Hills' and 'Laguna Beach' - announced in February that she is expecting her second child with NFL player husband Jay Cutler, but she is suffering more "aches and pains" than she did when carrying her son Camden two years ago.
Speaking about raising the 20-month-old tot whilst pregnant, Kristin, 27, explained: "[There are] more aches and pains. With the first one you can sleep all day, but now I'm running after Camden."
Kristin - who now hosts E! show 'Fabulist' - insists her pregnancy hasn't prevented her from leading an active lifestyle and she has been trying to satisfy her craving for sweet foods with healthy snacks, though she has also been happy to indulge.
She added to 'Access Hollywood Live': "I'm such a healthy eater and I was working out until about two weeks ago, [I've been craving] apples with almond butter, but I do have a big sweet tooth. I've been eating ice cream sandwiches."
Meanwhile, Kristin says she couldn't be happier with her husband's parenting skills, and Jay is looking forward to having another boy.
Kristin gushed: "He's a really good dad. He's with [Camden] all the time. He's great, He's so excited that it's another boy. It's going to be interesting, surrounded by men, it could be worse!"

Kate Mara to star as Ariel Castro’s victim in biopic?

Kate Mara is in talks to play the victim of kidnapper Ariel Castro in a new biopic.
The 'House of Cards' actress - who portrayed journalist Zoe Barnes in the first series of the drama - will play Michelle Knight, who was held prisoner with another two women in Cleveland for over 10 years until May 6, 2013, when one of the women escaped and contacted the police.
Source told the New York Daily News' Confidenti@l column: "After her sensational turn in 'House of Cards,' producers at Sony are desperate for Kate to take on the role of Michelle Knight.
"They feel that Kate would be able to capture Michelle's vulnerability and psychological pain -- something she excelled at as Zoe Barnes."
Michelle - who was 21 when she disappeared in 2002 - was held hostage alongside Amanda Berry, and Georgina 'Gina' DeJesus, and the women were lured inside his house after they accepted a lift from him.
Meanwhile, 'The Wire' star David Costabile and 'The Breakfast Club' actor Emilio Estevez are in the running to play Ariel, who was arrested the same day the women were freed.
He pleaded guilty to 937 criminal counts of rape, kidnapping, and aggravated murder and was sentenced to life in prison without the chance of parole plus 1,000 years.
A short time into serving his sentence he committed suicide by hanging himself with bedsheets in his prison cell.

Nicola Roberts writing songs for Cheryl Cole

Cheryl Cole has enlisted Nicola Roberts to write her a hit song.
The 'X Factor' judge hit the studio with her best pal and former Girls Aloud band mate over the weekend in the hopes of recording a chart-topping song to rival her 'Call My Name' collaboration with Calvin Harris.
The 30-year-old star wrote on Twitter: "@NicolaRoberts is like a little volcano just bubbling away waiting to erupt with hits! #watchthisspace #mygirl #soproud she's got me like (crying face)."
Meanwhile, Nicola revealed the experience had been an emotional one because of how close the pair are and hinted she has written some heartfelt songs about Cheryl's personal life for her fourth album.
The 'Beat of My Drum' hitmaker posted: "I have loved writing for Cheryl! So much fun! Sometimes a heavy heart has come, being a best friend & writing from that perspective for her. (sic)"
She added: "Can't wait for you to hear her new music."
This will be Cheryl's newest material since she split from her long-term boyfriend Tre Holloway last October, after struggling to maintain a long-distance relationship, although the pair are reportedly still friends.
The singer is famously unlucky in love and was left heartbroken after her divorce to soccer star Ashley Cole in 2010 after he cheated on her.
