Chris Martin ditches Gwyneth Paltrow’s vegetarian diet

Chris Martin has ditched Gwyneth Paltrow's vegetarian diet.
The Coldplay frontman - who "consciously uncoupled" from the 'Shakespeare in Love' actress in March after 10 years of marriage - has started eating meat again following the split but still encourages their ten-year-old daughter, Apple, to stick to vegetarianism.
He told BBC Radio 2: "I am not really vegetarian. I eat meat.
"I was vegetarian for a long time but, for various reasons, I changed.
"My daughter has been a vegetarian since she was born. I keep getting tempted to go back to vegetarianism but I don't eat too much meat."
However the 37-year-old singer - who also has an eight-year-old son, Moses, with Gwyneth, 41 - insists changing his diet has been a personal choice.
He explained: "The honest answer why I changed is because I thought you can only eat something that you should be able to kill.
"I mean, could you kill a fish? I wouldn't like it but I probably could eat the fish... or a giraffe."
Meanwhile, the former couple have reportedly become a lot closer again following the split after spending lots of time together with family and friends.
A source previously said: "They haven't made any concrete decision to get back together, but it's a possibility. They're discovering a dynamic that works for them all over again, like when they first got together. They're getting along really well.
"They've loving time together with and without the kids. She didn't want to end the marriage. He's been a great father, and that has helped keep the flame alive. They love each other, and if the romance comes back, they'll go with it if it feels right."

Jack White: I miss having a regular job

Jack White misses having a regular 9 to 5 job.
The 'Lazeretto' singer, who worked in an upholstery shop before finding fame with the White Stripes, claims he misses the anticipation of being at work and wanting to rush home to write music now songwriting is his career.
Jack - who was once part of a two-piece band called The Upholsters - explained: "When I worked in an upholstery shop I couldn't wait to get home and record the idea that had been brewing all day. Now I do all these other things and they're all creative, so I've had to learn, over the years, to find new ways of writing songs."
The 38-year-old rock star also revealed he can no longer go to gigs because he gets recognised and approached by fans who all want photographs of him, meaning he can't enjoy the live music.
He told MOJO magazine: "People won't leave me alone. I can't listen to one song without people taking a photo or something, and it's a shame because most of my inspiration came from that."

Noel Clarke: Ian Somerhalder is a ‘pretty boy’

Noel Clarke says Ian Somerhalder defies expectations in 'The Anomaly'.
The 'Doctor Who' actor, who stars in and directs the film, says Somerhalder - who is best known for playing charming vampire Damon Salvatore in 'The Vampire Diaries' - takes on a new kind of villain role and was better at action scenes than he was anticipating.
Speaking at a special screening of the film at London's Ham Yard Hotel last night (01.07.14), Clarke told BANG Showbiz: "People weren't expecting him [Somerhalder] to be physical because he's quite a pretty boy, but he was a dude and got in there and did all the fight scenes. He was great."
The 38-year-old star - whose other directing credits include 2010's '4.3.2.1' and 2008's 'Adulthood' - also admits he was inspired by J.J. Abrams to do more filmmaking after working with him on 'Star Trek Into Darkness.'
He said: "J.J. is a very inspirational guy. He leads from the front and has a positive energy on set. When you have someone like that at the top, it filters on down through the crew."
'The Anomaly' tells the story of a former soldier - played by Clarke - who is taken captive and awakens in the back of a van where he learns that he only has a few moments to figure out how he got there.
The film is set for UK release on Friday (04.07.14).

Melissa McCarthy: Sarandon’s casting was ‘crazy’

Melissa McCarthy finds it "crazy" Susan Sarandon agreed to star in 'Tammy'.
The 43-year-old actress - who co-wrote the movie with her husband, director Ben Falcone - was unsure whether to approach her "absolute dream wish" to play her on-screen grandmother and was delighted with the 'Lovely Bones' star's portrayal.
She said: "Oh, my God! How crazy is that?
"I couldn't believe it when we... She was our dream person to go out to. And we hemmed and hawed. Like, 'Do we even have a chance of it? Will she ever read it?'
" And then we thought, 'We have to start with our absolute dream wish. We have to. And then if we get rejected, we continue on.' And next thing you knew, we were going to have a phone call with her, and Ben and I couldn't believe that.
"And the next thing, we're talking to her, then we're out to dinner with her.
"And I just thought, 'My God, is this thing happening?' And she took a character that we already loved, we really loved Pearl, and she made it so much better."
Melissa was overjoyed with the "smart" way in which Susan transformed the hard-drinking pensioner from "horrible" to "exciting".
She added: "She is such a smart actress. She's such a smart woman. But she's really so incredibly skilled at what she did, that she just played it with no judgment.
"She didn't see Pearl as this horrible woman that made all of these mistakes. She just thought, 'Well, everybody's got a past'. And she had a pretty exciting past. She kind of saw her as exciting, and it just felt right.
"The first day of shooting, I think it was at the screen test, when we finally had all of our wardrobe and hair and makeup on. We just looked at each other, and for whatever weird reason, everybody went, 'It just makes sense'."
'Tammy' is in cinemas now.

Demi Lovato is ‘vulgar’

Demi Lovato has a constant "sausage-fest" going on in her mind.
The 'Neon Lights' singer's sense of humour is so dirty and her language so filthy that she claims she's far more obscene than any guy she knows.
She giggled: "I have a really foul mouth. I say anything and everything that's on my mind. I can be really vulgar. My sense of humour is really, really vulgar. It's worse than 10 guys put together in a room. There's a sausage-fest going on in my brain of inappropriate humour!"
Demi also opened up about another of her weirdest habits, constantly snacking on gherkins.
Asked her favourite food, she told We Love Pop magazine: "Gherkins. I love them. I could just drink gherkin juice."
The 21-year-old star feels akin to country queen Taylor Swift because they share the same hatred of nightclubs and preference for avoiding writing about partying.
Demi explained: "I don't really care because those things don't apply to my life. A good example of that is Taylor Swift. We've had conversations about this where I'm like, 'I have so much respect for you as an artist because you don't have to write about that stuff.' She's like, Well, I don't go out'.
"I don't go out to clubs and I don't party. I want to be a respected artist and not a tabloid headline."

Iggy Azalea is ‘worn out’ by fued

Iggy Azalea is "worn out" by her alleged feud with Nicki Minaj.
The 'Fancy' hitmaker insists she wasn't upset when the 'Pills n Potions' rapper stressed she writes all of her own material while accepting the Best Female Hip Hip Artist award at the BET Awards on Sunday (29.06.14), and only wants to surround herself with positive people.
Addressing the incident on Twitter on Wednesday (02.07.14), the 23-year-old rapper said: "If I had won the BET award that would have been great but it wasn't my year & I don't mind - so you shouldn't either.
"Generally speaking I'm unbothered by anything that 'happened' at the BET awards and just feel worn out by everyone trying to make me have wars with people all the time.
"Anyone who wishes me well is welcome in my life & those who don't can't get anymore of my time. I hate to see everyone exhausting themselves on my behalf over things that I'm still not 100 percent sure even exist & don't matter. Just let it go."
The Australian star's comments came just hours after Nicki insisted she didn't mean to offend her and claimed she was merely trying to encourage more female artists to put pen to paper.
The 31-year-old 'Starships' hitmaker tweeted: "I will always take a stance on women writing b/c I believe in us! I believe we're smart enough to write down our own thoughts and perspective, just like the men do. I've been saying this for 5 YEARS (sic)."
She added: "I've congratulated Iggy on the success of Fancy, publicly. She should be very proud of that. All the women nominated should b proud. That will never change my desire to motivate women to write. Our voices have to be heard. I hope I inspire up & coming females to do that (sic)."

Selena Gomez’s friend is ‘very honest’ with her

Selena Gomez's friend Mirtha Michelle is "very honest" with her about Justin Bieber.
The 'Letters, to the Men I Have Loved' author isn't concerned about the 'Come & Get It' hitmaker, who rekindled her on-again, off-again romance with the 20-year-old star last month following their latest brief split in April, because she thinks the 21-year-old singer is "so mature for her age."
Asked if she gives relationship advice to Selena, the 30-year-old actress told E! News: "Selena is actually a friend of mine, so she's a very sweet girl. Although she is younger than me, she's 21...it's so funny because when I met her, I don't really watch TV and I know anything that's happening, when I met her I thought she was older. I thought she was two years older than she was. She's so mature for her age. She'll be trying to give me advice. I'm like, 'Hold up, I wrote a book!' "
Sources close to Selena recently claimed her pals are worried she is "hypnotised" by the 'Baby' hitmaker and "doesn't seem to care that he spends time with other women."
But Mirtha says she is always honest with her friends when it comes to their relationships.
She said: "I am very honest. I tell them how it is. 'Hey, maybe he's not that into you!' Because someone needs to tell them that. Sometimes we talk to our friends and our friends just cover up the sun with a finger. You can't so that. You have to say the truth, you have to be honest. 'Hey, he's still seeing his ex girlfriend? Is that what you want in your life? No, you don't.' "
Selena attended Mirtha's book launch in New York City in May.

Prince Andrew splits from Monika Jakisic

Prince Andrew has reportedly split from Monika Jakisic.
The 54-year-old Duke of York, who was previously married to Sarah Ferguson, with whom he has daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, recently ended his romance with the Croatian model, 34, after five months of dating.
A source told Us Weekly magazine that the royal, who was forced to deny he was engaged to Monika in March after she posted a picture online of a diamond ring on top of a £600 restaurant bill, is no longer dating the brunette beauty, who was previously linked to George Clooney.
Andrew was spotted with Canadian lingerie model Dara Tomanovich at the Royal Ascot last month, sparking rumours of a new romance.
The royal divorced Sarah in 1996 but they have stayed friends for the benefit of Beatrice, 25, and Eugenie, 24, and are often seen together at events.
Sarah previously said: "From the day we got married to now, we've always upheld the same belief in each other. We are trailblazing on being the happiest divorced couple in the world. It is unusual, but we are unusual."

David Arquette gets along with Johnny McDaid

Courteney Cox's fiancé is on good terms with her ex-husband, David Arquette.
The 50-year-old actress, who has 10-year-old daughter Coco with the 'Scream' actor, 42, recently got engaged to "soft-spoken and calm" Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid and is glad they can all spend time together.
A source told PEOPLE magazine: "They get along, so it's really easy for everyone."
Meanwhile, the brunette beauty's pals "couldn't be more thrilled" about her engagement to the Northern Irish musician.
Courteney's personal trainer Michelle Lovitt said: "Her friends couldn't be more thrilled for her. We're all over the moon that she found this love with Johnny."
Another source said the couple are a good match, adding: "Their relationship is really mellow."
Johnny, 37, proposed to the former 'Friends' star last week after just six months of dating.
The loved-up couple shared the happy news with their fans shortly afterwards, by each posting on Twitter, "I'm engaged to him!" and "I'm engaged to her!"
The pair were first spotted together in December when they attended Courteney's close friend Jennifer Aniston's holiday party in Los Angeles.
Their friend Ed Sheeran previously confirmed their relationship was moving quickly when he revealed they had moved in together in April.
The couple are expected to wed in a "small and intimate" ceremony later this year.

Kendra Wilkinson reconnects with family

Kendra Wilkinson has reconnected with her family amid rumours her marriage is on the rocks.
The 29-year-old reality TV star, who has four-year-old son Hank Jr. and six-week old daughter Alijah, fell out with her brother, Colin Wilkinson, and her mother, Patti Wilkinson, in October after they found out about her second pregnancy from the media, but reportedly poured her heart out to her sibling about rumours her husband, Hank Baskett, cheated on her with transsexual model Ava Sabrina London in April.
Colin told Star magazine that the blonde beauty feels like "she's lost everything."
He spoke to his famous sister shortly after news of Hank's alleged affair broke and said she was "freaking out, screaming" and "crying her eyes out."
Asked if he believes the speculation, he said: "It's upsetting, I mean that's my sister. I could see him cheating on Kendra ... Me being around him for so long, I could probably see him doing something like that."
He added: "She definitely believes the story. She definitely thinks it's true. She was bawling her eyes out. She told me that she's lost everything."
Patti also recently confirmed on Twitter that she had reached out to her daughter and spent last weekend with her in Los Angeles.
She tweeted on Sunday (29.06.14): "SD bound great weekend with Kendra & the kids. So very proud of Kendra (sic)."
Meanwhile, a source told Us Weekly that the former Playboy model's friends are worried the stress of the situation will bring on a second bout of postpartum depression.
The insider said: "Between the baby hormones and this, friends worry she could be in a dangerous place."
Kendra and Hank, who got married in June 2009, have yet to comment on the allegations.

Nicki Minaj slams feud rumours

Nicki Minaj insists she isn't feuding with Iggy Azalea.
The 'Pills n Potions' hitmaker claims she didn't mean to offend the Australian rapper at the BET Awards on Sunday night (29.06.14) by stressing that she writes all her own material, and was merely trying to encourage more female artists to put pen to paper.
The 31-year-old 'Starships' rapper wrote on Twitter today (02.07.14): "I will always take a stance on women writing b/c I believe in us! I believe we're smart enough to write down our own thoughts and perspective, just like the men do. I've been saying this for 5 YEARS (sic)."
While accepting her award for Best Female Hip Hop Artist at the ceremony, Nicki appeared to make an apparent slight against her fellow nominee Iggy for not writing her own music.
She said: "My point is, what I want the world to know about Nicki Minaj, is when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it. No shade."
But she insists she doesn't consider Iggy a rival and is a fan of her track 'Fancy.'
She tweeted: "I've congratulated Iggy on the success of Fancy, publicly. She should be very proud of that. All the women nominated should b proud. That will never change my desire to motivate women to write. Our voices have to be heard. I hope I inspire up & coming females to do that (sic)."
Iggy previously hit back at Nicki's fans after they bombarded her with a stream of negative comments on Twitter.
The 23-year-old performer tweeted last month: "Just remember while your all at home online cracking jokes about artists etc. that Most of you have done NOTHING. NOTHING! With your lives (sic)."
She added: "Fan wars back and forth and all that s**t is all bulls**t.
"Someone who's music you love doing great should never be an excuse to be awful to others. That's my point I suppose. I just find it really disgusting."
