Reeva Steenkemp's mother has forgvien Oscar Pistorius
June Steenkamp says she doesn't hate the paralympian - who fatally shot her daughter, 29, through a closed toilet cubicle in his home in Pretoria, South Africa in the early hours of February 14 last year - but believes she won't rest until a verdict has been reached.
She told Britain's Hello! magazine: "I don't hate Oscar. I've forgiven him. I have to, that's my religion. But I am determined to face him and reclaim my daughter.
"It's important for him to know that I'm there, that Reeva's mother who gave birth to her and loved her, is there for her.
"I feel her presence and talk to her all the time."
June added that her faith has helped her through the traumatic trial and just wants to discover the truth about what happened to her daughter.
She said: "I trust that god will prevail and justice will be done. All we want is the truth."
The 27-year-old athlete - who was recently ruled fit to stand trial following a month of psychological assessments - has denied deliberately murdering the model, insisting he acted in self-defence in the mistaken belief she was an intruder.
If found guilty of murder, Pistorius could face life in jail, or 15 years in prison if the court finds him guilty of the lesser charge of culpable homicide.
Mel B is hoping to make a pop comeback.
The former Spice Girl is recording new songs in a bid to rule the charts once again following her appointment as a judge on British reality TV show, 'The X Factor'.
Mel, 39, is working with producer Anthony Preston - who produced much of Britney Spears' last album 'Britney Jean' including hit song 'Work Bitch' - and hopes he will help her develop a bold new sound.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "She's spent the past few weeks in the studio working on tracks and wants to make a big impact with a killer pop record for when 'X Factor' goes live. She knows Simon Cowell will feel forced to give her a performance slot on one of the Sunday shows.
"She wants to be out there in the music world once again and hopes it leads to a proper record deal."
Mel released her first song in eight years last year, but the track - titled 'For Once in My Life' - didn't do well in the charts.
At the peak of her solo fame, the star reached number one on the UK singles chart with 'I Want You Back', featuring Missy Elliott, in 1998.
Vanessa Feltz would love to see Judy Murray on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 52-year-old star - who competed on the BBC ballroom dancing competition last year - hopes speculation that tennis ace Andy Murray's mother will appear on the new series is true as she thinks Judy would be great viewing.
She told Closer magazine: "She's a woman with an eye for an attractive gentleman and is not averse to tweeting saucy comments about the objects of her lust so, if the 'Strictly' bosses pair her with a hot professional, there's no doubt the chemistry would explode.
"After my stint on the show last year, I pray the whispers are true because Judy, in a sprinkling of tinsel and spray tan, will be a tonic for the nation. Could she end up scooping the top prize? Let's just say her Wimbledon champ son is a chip off the old block."
Vanessa danced on the show with James Jordan and was booted off the programme in the second week of the 2013 series.
Abbey Clancey went on to win the show.
Chloe Sims hates her boobs.
The 'Only Way is Essex' star has revealed she doesn't like her breast implants and would take them out, however, she worries about complications during surgery.
She explained: "I hate my 34E boobs and am naturally a B-cup. I'd love to get them taken out, but I'm a mum and I don't want to put myself through a full-on procedure. It's dangerous and I have a daughter."
The 32-year-old star is renowned for her sizeable breast implants, teeth veneers and love of Botox, but Chloe is seeing benefits from appearing more natural.
She told Closer magazine: "I've not had Botox in five months now. I've wanted to but I haven't found time. In fact, everyone says my face appears softer without Botox and I look younger. That's a bonus!"
Chloe is currently dating 'TOWIE' co-star Elliott Wright and has praised him for restoring her faith in men.
She said: "I've always got on well with Elliott. And he's a hands-on dad, which I find really attractive. In Marbella recently, I was ill with bronchitis and Elliott stayed at my bedside when he could have gone out with the lads - he's been my saviour.
"Before him, I was so over men, but he's one in a million. He's restored my faith in men."
'Star Wars: Episode VII' will shut down production for two weeks as Harrison Ford recovers from a broken leg.
Disney and Lucasfilm have confirmed a two-week hiatus will take place in August in order to work around the 71-year-old actor's on-set injury last month that resulted in him having surgery.
Lucasfilm said in a statement: "In August, the team will take a brief two-week hiatus while adjustments to the current production schedule are made as actor Harrison Ford recovers from a leg injury.
"Harrison is doing well and is looking forward to returning to the set soon. Shooting remains on track to wrap in the fall with the film scheduled for release on December 18, 2015."
Ford was injured when part of the fictional spaceship, the Millennium Falcon, fell on him.
He is expected to be out of action for two months and the long-awaited sci-fi picture's shooting schedule was changed to accommodate his absence.
Meanwhile, director J.J. Abrams has added two new cast members to the film who were selected via an open casting call issued to the public last year.
Crystal Clarke is an American actress studying in Glasgow, Scotland, and Pip Anderson is a British actor with expertise in parkour.
Executive producer Kathleen Kennedy said: "The 'Star Wars' universe has always been about discovering and nurturing young talent, and in casting 'Episode VII' we wanted to remain absolutely faithful to this tradition. We are delighted that so many travelled to see us at the open casting calls and that we have been able to make Crystal and Pip a part of the film."
Sir Paul McCartney helped a man propose at his concert.
The 72-year-old rocker returned to the stage on Saturday night (05.07.14) after cancelling part of his 'Out There' tour in May due to a viral infection but he was more than happy to share the spotlight with 64 year old John Dann, who popped the question to his girlfriend at the gig in Albany, New York.
According to local newspaper The Democrat & Chronicle, Paul invited John onstage and allowed him to sing part of The Beatles' 1967 song 'When I'm Sixty-Four' in front of the 13,000-strong crowd. The fan then proposed to his girlfriend Claudia Rodgers, who happily accepted.
It seems the couple caught Paul's attention with their humorous signs as they were both spotted holding up pieces of card reading, "He won't marry me 'til he meets you" and "I have the ring and I'm 64".
Following the proposal, Paul quipped the couple had "booked us for the wedding" too.
The rocker's performance on Saturday marked his first in nearly two months after he was hospitalised for six nights in Tokyo, Japan, in May.
Rita Ora is reportedly dating Tommy Hilfiger's son.
The 'I Will Never Let You Down' hitmaker - who recently split from Scottish DJ Calvin Harris - has been getting close to rapper Ricky Hil, the 24-year-old son of the prolific American fashion designer.
Ricky is said to be spending more time in London to be with Rita, 23, and the budding couple were spotted holding hands over dinner at Nobu on Saturday night (05.07.14).
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Ricky came over to Europe to hang with Rita a bit more this summer.
"They really hit it off when they met and really like each other, so Rita invited him over to join her.
"They want to see where things might take them - they're just having a lot of fun."
While Rita appears smitten with her new beau, it seems pals of the singer are less enthusiastic as they are wary of Ricky's bad boy past - including an arrest for cannabis possession in 2010.
The insider added: "He's a bit of a bad boy and a real world away from clean-cut Calvin. He openly boasts about smoking weed all the time on Twitter and has released mix-tapes called 'Support Your Local Drug Dealer'. People are worried he might not be the best influence on Rita right now."
Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett insists he didn't "b***ch" about anyone when he was reunited with the band for a new BBC documentary.
The progressive rock pioneer, who was a member of the group from 1971 to 1977, met with the original line-up, including Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford, for the feature-length documentary: 'Genesis: Together and Apart'.
The musicians also had a press photograph taken recently for the first time in years, following their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.
Steve told BANG Showbiz: "It was very nice ... we spoke at length for about two hours to camera. We had lunch and it was the first time we'd got everyone in one room for quite some time.
"Everyone was talkative but there was a lot of pain and pleasure in equal measure. There's a lot to celebrate and there's a lot to remonstrate.
"I think we're all very honest about each other and that was good. I was able to say nice things, I don't think I said anything nasty or b**ch."
Meanwhile, Steve, 64, performed a huge concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London last year and the footage has been released on DVD, titled 'Genesis Revisited Live at the Royal Albert Hall'.
Talking about the concerts, Steve said: "We'd done a lot touring by then and the band was very tight by then and the audience was extraordinary, it was a full house and the audience went mad. There was a fantastic atmosphere that night.
"We had a lot of lights on the night, not just lightening up the stage but the hall itself. It's like some kind of spaceship sat in the middle of London.
"It had been a dream of mine ever since I started making music professionally in 1970. When I first joined Genesis we were doing clubs and colleges, we never did the Albert Hall, even though we ended up playing larger places than that."
Martin Freeman doesn't think 'The Hobbit' movies have focused too much on CGI.
The actor - who played Bilbo Baggins in Peter Jackson's new Middle Earth trilogy based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien - admitted he hopes fans don't think the films have steadily sacrificed subtlety for special effects.
Martin - responding to criticism from 'Lord of the Rings' star Viggo Mortensen - joked to the Sunday Telegraph newspaper's Seven magazine: "I've never liked him. No, I do like him.
"All I can say is: I hope that's not the case. I know Peter and the team who make those films, they'd be horrified to think they'd jettisoned all subtlety.
"Yeah, there's a log of CGI, an awful lot of that business going on. But they are still very, very interested in story. They want the human side of it to be absolutely pivotal. Beyond that? Of course it's a question of taste and I respect Viggo's opinion."
Martin recently discussed being recognised in the street, and explained his role as Dr. Watson in 'Sherlock' earned him more attention than Bilbo Baggins.
He added: "On the street, I would say Watson nudges it. Bilbo gets a lot. For years, of course, it was Tim [from 'The Office'] and that was my primary street-shouting thing.
"But probably now, it's an amalgamation of all of them but the front-front is Dr. Watson."
Jennifer Lopez was "overwhelmed" leading up to the World Cup opening ceremony.
The 44-year-old singer kicked off the international soccer tournament last month - despite reports claiming she had dropped out of the performance - but she has claimed she simply got overran with everything going on and people close to her suggested she pulled the plug on the show.
She told the Sunday Times newspaper's Style magazine: "I didn't cancel. I was just overwhelmed ... [I'm fine now, but] I've been working like crazy.
"I've got so many things to think about and pay attention to. I think people panicked when I wasn't on this plane at that time at this moment.
"So I called, and everyone was like, 'Let's just make an announcement, and I was like, 'No, I'm coming'. It was never in my mind not to be there. I know people always want answers, but I don't have answers all the time."
At the time, it was claimed by FIFA she had pulled out due to "production issues", before her spokesman insisted she would be at the show.
They said: "Jennifer has always wanted to participate in the World Cup opening ceremonies. We have been trying to work out scheduling and logistics ... Jennifer would not want to disappoint her fans or fans of football. She will be there."
Pete Doherty lost his childhood teddy bear after Kate Moss set fire to him.
The Libertines rocker and the supermodel broke up in 2007 after two years together, and he was devastated when she "burned" him to cause him "emotional damage" following their split.
He told the Mail on Sunday newspaper's Event magazine: "It's a big, genuine and totally heartfelt regret that I didn't keep my eye on Pandy, who was my first-ever teddy bear.
"My sister gave him to me as a huge gesture of love and kinship. I held onto Pandy all my life but he ended up getting burned by Kate, along with a lot of other stuff, when we split up.
"There was no need for that unless she simply wanted to cause me as much emotional damage as possible."
Pete also revealed how an emotional letter from three former prisoners of war "hit" him hard after they blasted him for his behaviour.
He admitted: "I once received a letter signed by three soldiers who had been prisoners of war in Japan.
"They said it made them sick that they suffered so much so that this country could be free and then people like me behaved like I do. It said I've let them down and that hit me hard."
Sir Paul McCartney has resumed his 'Out There' tour after his recent illness.
The 72-year-old rocker, who was forced to cancel his Japanese concerts and a gig in South Korea in May after he was hospitalised in Tokyo for six nights due to a viral infection, took to the stage for the first time in more than two months in Albany, New York on Saturday night (05.07.14).
The 'Save Us' hitmaker told the crowd: "It's great to be back."
The British star appeared to be in good spirits, performing 38 songs in just under three hours, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The former Beatles star's bandmate Ringo Starr recently said Paul was determined to get back on stage as soon as possible by "getting fit" while he recuperated with his wife Nancy Shevell, 53, in Ibiza.
He said: "I spoke to him while he was in hospital. He said he was doing OK. Now he is getting fit and getting ready to rock."
A source close to Paul previously admitted he was "very sad" about cancelling his Asian shows.
The insider said: "Paul has really been through the mill. He was desperately sad he had to cancel those shows but he was really poorly. But he is on the mend which is great news."
