Keira Knightley is "stupidly sensitive".
The 29-year-old actress still feels hurt when she receives criticism, but has learned to pick herself up and move on from upsetting incidents.
She said: "I'm stupidly sensitive. It;'s ridiculous to have got 10 years on in my career and find that some things still hurt as much. I don't know if it's ego.
"I do tend to get back up quite quickly after I've been hit down and then I try to forge ahead as much as possible."
However, the 'Begin Again' star is no longer affected by bad reviews as she knows she has always done her best.
She added in an interview with Britain's OK! magazine: "Film is such a strange magical thing that sometimes things don't come together.
"You have to go, 'It's out of my hands.' If it doesn't work, I'm proud because that day I felt like s**t, I still managed to play this incredibly important scene and I don't feel I completely f***ed it up.
"You give months of your time to make a movie and you don't have a life outside it. So if you only think it's worth it if it's critically well received, then you'll end up spending an awful amount of time incredibly disappointed."
Gerard Way was too depressed to continue with My Chemical Romance.
The 'Black Parade' rockers split in March 2013, and the frontman admits he knew it was time to call it a day because the band was making him ill and affecting his personal life.
He said: "It was one of those things that actually was painful and slow, a sequence of breaks. But it comes down to me just being really depressed.
"It's hard to go into too much detail about the mechanics of it, but one day I just said, 'You know, we can't do this.' It was really hard. Nobody was happy. I wasn't happy.
"I felt like I was in this thing that I couldn't get out of, because I was partially responsible for other people's lives. And then it started to make me physically sick, and it started to affect my personal life."
Gerard feels he has been able to move forward since leaving the band, and though he didn't plan a solo career, he has been working hard on a new album.
He told NME magazine: "Being in a band holds you in stasis. There's a refusal to grow past a certain point and I personally stopped growing.
"I guess I thought I was going to have a 'normal' life after My Chemical Romance, but then all of a sudden I started to plan out what a solo career would be like.
"I thought of the artists I love, like Nick Cave and Morrissey, Brian Eno, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, PJ Harvey, Bjork, and I was like, that's where I want my art to be."
Ex-Lostprophets member Stuart Richardson has "smashed" one of his platinum disks in anger over Ian Watkins' actions.
The bassist is still in shock after the 'Last Train Home' singer was jailed for 35 years in December last year for a string of child sex offences and isn't sure he'll ever be able to enjoy his musical achievements with the band.
He told The Guardian newspaper: "I don't know how his badness can't cancel out our music.
"We had platinum records in our houses, awards. I smashed 'Liberation Transmission' the other day.
"The rest are in the garage and they'll probably never come out again."
However, Stuart has been surprised by the reaction from fans who are keen to give new band No Devotion - featuring the remaining members of the group and ex-Thursday singer Geoff Rickly - a chance.
He admitted: "A week ago I didn't know if anybody would want to listen to us because of the associations, but people seem to really want to see us succeed."
Speaking of their decision to carry on making music, he explained that after discovering the shocking truth about Ian, the rest of the band "needed this" to give them something to focus on.
He recently said: "We didn't know what else to do - we just wrote music.
"I didn't know if anyone would ever want to hear it. I just needed to occupy my brain. We just needed this."
Eminem was joined by Dr Dre for a rare performance during an explosive gig at Wembley Stadium last night (11.07.14).
The 'Berzerk' rapper took to the stage after being banned from Hyde Park because of the "explicit lyrics" in his songs and became the first rapper to headline a gig at the venue in north London connected by EE- playing to 80,000 fans - who went wild when he collaborated with mega star Dre.
The rappers performed a number of hits including Forgot About Dre and the 90-minute set was crammed full of fan favourites, with a medley of 'Love The Way You Lie' and 'Stan' being one of the highlights on the night.
Wearing a t-shirt with a giant Union Jack mask emblazoned on the front, Eminem was glad to be back in London, headlining a gig in the UK for the first time in 13 years.
He told the audience: "Hold on, let me take a minute to look at this God damn crowd, holy sh*t! This is why I love London. Y'all so angry."
There was plenty of swearing throughout the concert and some fans complained about the speaker system as they struggled to hear a lot of what Eminem was saying in between songs. But he still proved that at 41, he's one of the world's best live performers.
Eminem stood against a backdrop of a boombox and fans lapped up hit after hit with the set list including 'The Way I Am', 'Rap God', 'My Name Is', 'The Real Slim Shady' and 'Without Me'.
Despite rumours, Rihanna and Dido were absent for duets of Love The Way You Lie and Stan but Eminem showed he didn't need any help to entertain the crowd.
"God damn, we missed you," he told them, as he ran about the stage backed by a full band.
There were plenty of explosions, gun shot sound effects and the encore, Lose Yourself, sent the audience into a frenzy.
The rapper will perform another sold out concert at the venue tonight (12.07.14).

Amanda Barrie is getting married to her partner after almost decade together.
The 78-year-old 'Coronation Street' legend and crime writer Hilary Bonner, 65, have announced their engagement and joked they risked "cutting it a bit fine" if they waited any longer to tie the knot.
They told The Sun newspaper: "As our combined ages will be 144 at the time of this cosmic event, we felt we might be cutting it a bit fine if we left it much longer.
"In any case, our dog was feeling insecure."
Their wedding invitations joke that they are keen to take advantage of recent gay marriage laws and "make it legal" for the sake of their pet pub Coco, and they will have their big day at the Theatre Royal in London.
Amanda - who was previously married to late theatre director Robin Hunter - came out as bisexual in 2002.
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed she will appear in the next series of ITV sitcom 'Benidorm' next year, where she will be reunited with former 'Corrie' co-star Sherrie Hewson.
A source previously said: "It's a thrill to have Amanda back on the box. She and Sherrie are a hoot together."
Danielle Armstrong has given James Lock a written relationship contract.
The 'TOWIE' beauty is reportedly prepared to give the reality star - who was caught cheating as well as admitting to possession of Class C drug ketamine earlier this year - another chance, providing he agrees to strict terms for their romance.
An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Danielle means business. She loves James, but he humiliated her publicly and she's not prepared to go through all that again.
"Therefore she's laying down the law this time. James knows he messed up royally and is bending over backwards to try to make it up to her.
"But he know it's a long road and there'll be temptation on the way."
He was given a conditional discharge after admitting possession and banned from 'The Only Way Is Essex' for four months, and now faces a strict code of conduct as a result of his alleged cheating.
The terms are said to include stopping him from going more than one night a week, no following "random girls" on Twitter and a ban on hotel room or after parties.
Adam Levine can't wait to give up his bachelor status.
The 'Voice' USA judge is set to marry Behati Prinsloo in Mexico this summer and insists he has done everything on his bachelor bucket list.
He said: "I think I've probably had enough bachelor parties for all of the bachelors in Southern California. In my lifetime I've done it right. I've had plenty of fun. I did have a bachelor party, and it was cool and mellow.
"You never get everything out of your system. Because then you wouldn't have a system. You're always fighting something.
"I definitely feel like I'm sitting in the chair I'm supposed to be sitting in right now. It all feels very natural."
The Maroon 5 star likes to keep his relationship with the South African beauty private because it stays "special" that way.
He told People magazine: "My relationship with Behati is mine. It's not for anybody else. That's what makes the relationship special and intimate. The minute I start to share the deepest things in my life, I'm losing something."
Adam says he family helped him not go off the rails when he first found fame and as a result he was able to relate to his character in 'Begin Again,' who makes mistakes when he hits it big in the music world, because he struggled not to give into temptation earlier in his career.
He said: "This guy was me at a certain point. He's about to be lost and is losing it. Granted, it wasn't the same experience. But all of a sudden you have much more at your disposal, girls, money, alcohol, whatever. Your vices become magnified. You get to jump off the edge of a cliff, and if you jump off you're screwed. I've been so blessed. Thank God for my family and friends who supported me."
David and Victoria Beckham have hired a former Buckingham Palace worker as their new housekeeper.
The superstar couple have recruited the male from the British royal household to help with the general running of their £40 million home and it is said the fashion designer is "delighted" to have him on board.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "They needed a new housekeeper and, hands down, he was the best applicant.
"His CV was pretty impressive and, obviously, having a former Buckingham Palace member of staff is quite a boon.
"Victoria is delighted, and he is fitting in really well with the family."
According to reports, David and Victoria have also given the former footman's salary a significant boost from his previous £15,000 paycheque.
As well as general tidying, cleaning, ironing and dusting, it is said the new employee will also lend a hand with walking and grooming the dogs.
Meanwhile, Victoria recently revealed she and her husband still "tease each other" and love to have a laugh.
She said: "David and I tease each other a lot. Yes, you have to take yourself seriously professionally, but we also poke fun at each other."
Michelle Heaton says her children inspired her to sacrifice her "womanhood".
The 34-year-old star has made the "heartbreaking " decision to undergo a full hysterectomy in an attempt to prevent ovarian cancer, and despite the tough situation she insisted it is something she has do for Faith, two, and five-month-old son Aaron Jay.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, she said: "A hysterectomy is not just about giving up the chance for children - it's about giving up my womanhood.
"It's giving up everything about me, everything inside me - my breast tissue, my Fallopian tubes. Everything that's going to go is everything that sets me apart from a man.
"It's a heartbreaking and life-changing decision. Every time I look at my kids, I know why I'm doing this, so I'm around and there's no risk of ever leaving them without a mum.
The former 'Celebrity Big Brother' and 'The Big Reunion' star - who carries a mutated BRCA2 gene, giving her a 40 per cent chance of getting cancer - admitted she didn't want to wait until it was too late to make a decision.
She added: "I don't have time on my side. It's a waiting game and I'm not a gambling woman.
"Do I tempt fate? Do I play roulette and wait and see what happens? Then in four years I'm not around for the two beautiful children I do have.
"I wouldn't be around to face the consequences but my husband [Hugh Hanley] would blame himself for not egging me on to have this procedure."
John Legend says his wife was the "most drunk" at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding.
The 35-year-old singer and his partner Chrissy Teigen were both at the star couple's huge wedding in May, and while the booze was flowing at the bash, he admitted his wife was "right up there".
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "The most drunk? Well, Chrissy was right but there, but I think that there was a lot of alcohol going around so there was a healthy competition."
Meanwhile, the 'All of Me' star also revealed he performed at the couple's extravagant wedding for free, and explained he was meant just play the hit single but ended up doing a much longer set after people kept asking for more.
He added: "Kanye just asked me to perform 'All of Me', and then people kept asking me to do more, so I did probably six of seven songs.
"It wasn't a paid gig. We've been friends for a long time, he signed me to my first record deal, so I wasn't going to charge him to play at his wedding. I'm charging everybody else though."
Riccardo Tisci says dressing Beyonce for her 'On the Run' tour is like "helping a friend get ready for a party".
The Givenchy designer was thrilled to be asked to design his pal's costumes for her co-headlining shows with husband Jay Z while he was fitting her for her Met Gala outfit - for which he was her guest for the third year in a row - and has had a lot of fun creating the outfits.
Explaining how she first showed him the short film announcing the tour, he said: "I saw that video and was like, 'Wow'. we started talking about hat she might wear.
"I said straight away, 'OK, it should all be black, American, sexy but luxe, couture...' It was exciting, from the gut, like when you're helping a friend getting ready for a party."
Riccardo first met Beyonce in 2011 and was pleased the superstar wasn't how he expected her to be.
He explained: "When I met her, she wasn't how I expected her to be.
"She's very powerful and one of the great icons of our time, but also so sweet, so feminine, very gentle and never vulgar."
Jay - who has been wearing a custom-made Givenchy tuxedo on the tour - was "very happy" with his wife's costumes, but has had little input into them.
Riccardo told Grazia magazine: "He came and said hello to me during fittings and seemed very happy with everything, but I mean, she knows what she wants, she has a pretty strong point of view."
Jessica Alba claims she never sought out sexy film roles.
The 33-year-old beauty - who has daughters Honor, six, and Haven, two, with husband Cash Warren - is best known for playing dancer Nancy Callahan in 'Sin City' and superhero Sue Storm in 'Fantastic Four' but she insists the majority of her film roles are only "sexy" because of her figure.
She explained: "I never sought them out. I was playing a superhero and all of a sudden when they put me in a superhero uniform they called it sexy. I was covered head to toe, but everything turns into sexy because I have a body.
"I was never, 'Oh, I'm going to be a sexy superhero'. I was just playing a superhero. The only overtly sexy role I've ever done was 'Sin City'."
The 'Honey' actress co-founded The Honest Company - a "safe, eco-friendly, beautiful, convenient and affordable source of baby products - two years ago and she believes it's success has given her more confidence.
She told to Britain's GQ magazine: "It's given me a better understanding of success in business. Of how to pull myself out of the frenzy, of the buzz of Hollywood and the frenetic energy of pop culture and have a business perspective on all of it.
"I'm not as affected personally by people's opinions because it used to crush my little heart when people would criticise me."
