The wedding party ate Mexican food at the gathering, including the traditional sweet dish churros for dessert.
An insider told People magazine: "Everyone seemed to have a great time. The party went to the late hours."
The couple will marry in the tropical spot later today and Adam, 35, has previously promised the wedding "won't be typical, I can tell you that".
Adam has earmarked special roles for his Maroon 5 bandmates, with guitarist James Valentine performing a "nice little medley" of Beatles tunes before the nuptials.
James joked: "It's just another gig for me. I'm gonna be playing some solo acoustic guitar during the ceremony when people are walking [in]."
'The Voice' mentor Adam's best man will be bandmate Jesse Carmichael, whom he has known since he was 12 years old.
The wedding will also reportedly include a performance by Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks, who Adam frequently cites as one of his favourites and a huge influence on him.

He has also been getting lot of tips from his famous friend, whom he has known since they were schoolkids.

"He's proud of me but is not concerned that I'll take over [his role as] Wolverine."
In the documentary Gus will take on a different challenge every episode, with the finale being when he runs the marathon.

Kim Kardashian thinks Kanye West looks ‘so sexy’ on GQ cover

Kim Kardashian thinks Kanye West looks "so sexy" on the cover of GQ magazine.
The reality TV star's rapper husband graces the cover of the men's fashion and lifestyle magazine's August edition for Australia, wearing a beige jacket and a white T-shirt with a gold chain around his neck and bearing a quizzical look on his face.
Kim posted a picture of the cover on Instagram and wrote alongside it: "So sexy! My husband on the cover of GQ shot by Patrick Demarchelier!!! (sic)"
Kanye will no doubt be pleased with landing the cover, as he has long been a fashionista, completing an internship at Italian fashion brand Fendi in 2009, designing his own Nike Air Yeezy II line of trainers and releasing a clothing collection with French brand A.P.C.
However, his relationship with the industry has at times been rocky, and he has previously said his track 'I Am A God' was a direct reaction to being invited to a show at Paris Fashion Week in 2012, but only on the condition he wouldn't appear at any other fashion shows that week.
He said: "So the next day I went to the studio with Daft Punk, and I wrote 'I Am a God'. Because it's like, 'Yo! Nobody can tell me where I can and can't go. Man, I'm the number one living and breathing rock star.
"I am Axl Rose; I am Jim Morrison; I am Jimi Hendrix. You can't say that you love music and then say that Kanye West can't come to your show!
"To even think they could tell me where I could and couldn't go is just ludicrous. It's blasphemous - to rock 'n' roll, and to music."

Prince Harry getting ‘cosy’ with new woman

Prince Harry has been spotted getting "very cosy" with a new woman.
The young royal has been single for two months since splitting with socialite Cressida Bonas, but appeared to be enjoying the company of charity worker Camilla Thurlow, 25, at Tonteria nightclub in London.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "They looked very cosy and kissed more than once. But they are not serious in any way. They're just two young people having a good time."
Harry was at the club, owned by his friend Guy Pelly, with friends and although he and Camilla - a former Miss Edinburgh - appeared to be having a good time, the friend doesn't think a full romance is on the cards.
The source added: "It's probably unlikely they will see each other again - they are both very busy."
Coincidentally, Camilla works for The Halo Trust, a mine clearance charity which Harry's mother, Princess Diana, was heavily involved with.
The royal has also reportedly been in contact with another of his rumoured old flames, Caroline Flack, since his split from Cressida.
A source previously said: "They have been in contact by phone. Harry likes to keep in touch with his old girlfriends and he knows Caroline is fun and discreet.
"In fact, someone mentioned his name the other day and Caroline got flustered and went bright red."
Although Harry may have been speaking with Caroline he would only have been doing so as a friend, because she is currently dating music manager Jack Street.

Rod Stewart moving back to the UK

Rod Stewart is moving back to the UK after almost 40 years.
The London born singer relocated to the US in 1975 to avoid tax - which at the time stood at 83 per cent for those earning the most money - but he is now planning on moving back to his homeland permanently so his youngest sons, Alistair, eight and Aiden, three, can be educated there.
When asked if his childhood home of Archway, London, still holds memories for him, Rod is quoted by Mirror.co.uk as replying: "Oh yeah. This place is still in my heart. We are planning hopefully on moving back in about 18 months so my kids can grow up here. It's not definite.
"But this is where me and [wife] Penny [Lancaster], this is where we come from."
Penny, 43, has also previously mentioned plans to move, saying: "Rod and I would like to move back permanently. It would be lovely for our kids to go to schools in England.
"We were both educated here. The children would be better off being educated here."
Rod has bought a £4.65million on a home in Essex ready for the family's return, but they will still keep their Beverly Hills home and split their time between the two.
Rod is a father to eight children in total with five different women, all of whom are now adults, apart from Alistair and Aiden.

Shep Gordon trusts Mike Myers

Shep Gordon "trusted" Mike Myers to retell his life story because he is such a "good friend".
The veteran music manager helped promote a number of huge acts during his career - including Alice Cooper, Teddy Pendergrass and Pink Floyd - but until recently, had rejected all invitations to bring his story to the silver screen.
Reflecting on the documentary, 'Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon', he told BANG Showbiz: "I met Mike on 'Wayne's World' and then he came to Hawaii and we became friends. He bought a house on Maui, where I live, and he loved all my stories and for years he's been asking me about doing [the film].
"I didn't see any reason to do it other than ego ... then I had some surgery, was heavily medicated and feeling sorry for myself. Later I called him and said, 'Yeah, let's do this'."
Despite being close friends now, Shep admits he and Mike disagreed over which Alice Cooper song - 'School's Out' or 'Freak My Frankenstein' - was to be included in 'Wayne's World' when they first met.
He added: "In the end, we compromised and put both in the movie, and we came away respecting each other. And then I heard he was in Hawaii and I invited him by for dinner and then started a real friendship."
'Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon' is in cinemas now. See www.supermenschthemovie.com for more details.

Kodaline: Perfect gigs don’t exist

Kodaline don't think "perfect" gigs exist.
The 'Love Like This' group don't have a specific "formula" for a successful show because they know every venue and audience is different.
Frontman Steve Garrigan told BANG Showbiz: "I don't think there are set key ingredients that act as a recipe for a perfect gig.
"Obviously the crowd and their reaction are very important but we treat each gig very differently and wouldn't apply one formula to make all successful.
"Plus there isn't such a thing as a perfect gig. You always make mistakes and the key to a successful gig is turning the mistakes into great, enjoyable music."
Steve also revealed the group have been working on the follow-up to last year's debut album 'In a Perfect World', but fans will have to wait until early 2015 to hear any new songs.
He said: "We've actually already started to work on our second album. When we haven't been touring we've been in the studio and are about half-way through so far so hope to finish it by the end of the year. That way we will be ready to share some new music with our fans early next year."
Kodaline were part of the stellar line-up for this year's Summer Series at Somerset House with American Express(r), just one example of the enriched entertainment experiences available to Cardmembers. Luisa Bradshaw-White doesn’t want to be famous

Luisa Bradshaw-White wants to focus on family rather than being "famous".
The 39-year-old 'EastEnders' actress - who plays Tina Carter on the soap - has admitted it was daunting joining such a popular TV show, but she has been able to cope thanks to her home life.
She said: "It frightened me.Years ago, people in 'EastEnders' were very, very famous and I never wanted that. But now you've got all the reality TV stars taking that place so actors can just get on with doing their job.
"Of course, if you want to be a celebrity you can, but when it comes to walking down the red carpet, there's a whole generation of 'EastEnders' stars younger than me who can do that.
"I can just be like a mum. The pressure to be beautiful is off me. I feel at ease as I'm not trying to be somebody I don't think I've ever been."
Meanwhile, Luisa - who joined the soap last year - admitted despite her success, "can't let go" of her role as a parent and partner.
She told The Sun newspaper's TV Magazine: "I've got a partner, Annette, and we've been together 15 years.
"I've been a stay-at-home mum for the past eight years and now Annette's taken a year out for the [two] girls.
"Although I can't let go of that role - I get home and still try to control everything."

Kourtney Kardashian wants model son

Kourtney Kardashian is thinking about getting her son a modelling agent.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, who is expecting her third child with boyfriend Scott Disick, has revealed their four-year-old little boy, Mason, could follow in his aunt Kendall Jenner's footsteps and hit the runway in the future.
Asked if he might become a model, the 35-year-old star - who also has two-year-old daughter Penelope - said: "I don't know. He has such an attitude."
Her sister Khloé added: "He's very moody. He's very Kourtney-like. If he wants to do something, he will. If he doesn't, you can't get him to do anything."
However, Khloe also thinks that her nephew has the perfect personality for the catwalk, saying he is "kind of wild and fun, like the centre of attention."
The 30-year-old reality TV star also admitted Mason inspired a lot of their new Kardashian Kids collection.
She told People magazine: "It's like we have test-drivers. Kourtney dresses Mason so freakin' cute. He's such a fashionista."
