Rita Ora's split from Calvin Harris has left plans for her new album in chaos.
Rita, 23, recorded a number of songs with her former beau - including hit single 'I Will Never Let You Down' - but he's now said that she cannot release any more of the tunes they made together.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Rita's album has hit a bit of a road block after Calvin pulled all the songs he had worked on for the project before they split.
"He'd made a lot of songs for her but they're now likely to go to other artists."
It's been reported that the pair made at least a dozen tracks together, which were to represent the bulk of the eagerly-awaited record.
The source added: "Calvin wants a clean break, personally and professionally. He's already given her one massive hit so doesn't feel her owes her.
"He doesn't want to be linked to her, especially now she's in a new relationship with Rich Hilfiger."
Rita's first studio album, Ora, was released in 2012 and spawned a number of huge hits, including 'RIP' and 'How We Do (Party)'.
And even without the help of her former boyfriend, Rita will hope to repeat that success when her next album goes on sale.
Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan ran over his father in a "freak accident".
The rocker - who does not yet have a driving license - was told to release the car's handbrake by his dad, but ended up pressing down on the accelerator, and Tom Senior had to be rushed to hospital.
The singer told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It was a freak accident, it was horrible. That was the worst day of my life.
"I can drive but it was in an automatic car. It was too fast. It was a real shock at the time ... It would only happen to me ... We have laughed about it now and that's all you can do.
"I'm very close to my dad. He's a very amazing person to have around, so that happening was awful."
Meanwhile, Tom Junior revealed his own injury, admitting he suffers from tinnitus - hearing ringing in the ears when no sound is actually present - after years of touring and loud music.
He added: "I've got tinnitus in both ears. It's my own fault though. I did it to myself. You've just got to try and shut it off."
Britain's Prince Michael of Kent was "treated successfully" for prostate cancer.
The 72-year-old royal - who is Queen Elizabeth's cousin - has spoken out about his battle with the disease and is said to be doing well after catching it early and undergoing successful treatment.
According to the Daily Express newspaper, his spokesman Simon Astaire said: "[The Prince] regards all medical issues as personal and private.
"However, he has authorised me to tell you that this particular problem was, happily, diagnosed very early and treated successfully last year by a surgical team who have his admiration and gratitude."
The Prince - who is a grandson of King George V and Queen Mary - was seventh in line to the throne when he was born in 1942 but forfeited his place when he married Roman Catholic Marie von Reibnitz, now Princess Michael of Kent.
The couple receive no public money and the Prince runs his own private consulting business, which allows him and his wife to fund and carry out charitable and public duties.
The pair do, however, share an apartment at Kensington Palace in west London.
Emmerdale's Samantha Giles didn't want to wear "skimpy" underwear on-screen.
The soap star - who plays cougar Bernice Blackstock on the ITV soap - has admitted she was mortified when she found out she'd be wearing risqué underwear for scenes where she attempts to seduce Andy Sudgen (Kelvin Fletcher), with whom she's having an on-screen affair.
She explained: "I worked with the costume department to make sure it wasn't too skimpy. It said in the script Bernice would be wearing 'complicated underwear'.
"I was like, 'It's 7pm, people don't want to see that'. It had to be tasteful."
Samantha will be seen wearing a sexy black basque in the scenes - which are to appear on screen in the next few weeks - but will be humiliated when she finds Andy has reunited with his ex-wife Katie Addyman (Sammy Winward).
According to The Sun newspaper, Samantha said: "Bernice makes one last attempt to seduce him wearing risqué stuff - a basque, skirt and fishnet tights."
But when Andy rejects her, she decides to head to the pub and finds herself in even more trouble when a man invites her to a photoshoot and she agrees, not realising he wants her to pose as a glamour model
Samantha added: "This guy sees what she's wearing and invites her to a photoshoot. That makes her feel better ... She's flattered and thinks it's a professional modelling job ... It doesn't quite go to plan."
David Beckham and his sons were showered in gold slime at the first ever Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sport Awards last night (17.07.14).
The retired soccer star was honoured with the Legend Award at the ceremony, which took place in Los Angeles, but following a heartfelt speech onstage David - joined by sons Romeo, 11, and nine-year-old Cruz - couldn't escape a signature gunking at the hands of the youth-oriented TV channel.
A torrent of golden slime rained down on the trio and while Nickelodeon is known for sliming celebrity guests with green ooze at its awards shows, it seems the special gold-coloured gunge was an ode to David's 'Golden Balls' nickname.
The 39-year-old hunk took the good-natured ribbing in his stride, wiping away the slime from his face and smiling as he left the stage.
In his speech, David said: "When I was young my dream was to be a professional soccer player."
The awards bash was the perfect mix of sports and celebrity as stars including Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Will Arnett and Nick Cannon helped celebrate America's top sporting heroes.
The awards ceremony was hosted by retired NFL football player-turned-TV talk show host Michael Strahan.
'Happy' hitmaker Pharrell Williams gave a cheerful musical performance, as did Florida Georgia Line.
Cory Monteith's mother couldn't look her late son's photos until three days ago.
A year has passed since the 'Glee' actor was found dead in a hotel room, but his mum Ann McGregor has admitted she has been unable to bring herself to look at pictures of him until recently.
Cory's mother tried to remain positive as she referred to the breakthrough as "progress".
Talking on 'Good Morning America' yesterday (17.07.14), she said: "The loss is horrendous. Until three days ago I couldn't look at a picture of Cory. So there's been progress."
Ann also revealed that she hasn't been able to watch 'Glee' since her son's passing and has yet to see the episode which is dedicated to Cory.
The late actor's girlfriend and fellow 'Glee' star Lea Michele has remained in contact with Ann, who revealed she too is still coming to terms to with Cory's sudden death.
Ann said: "[Lea] texts me and emails me. She's hurting. I know her pain."
The matriarch also shared several home videos with the TV show, allowing them access to recordings of a young Cory playing with his dog and even acting in a school play.
An emotional Ann reflected: "He had that mischievous side to him all the time. Always looking for something ... looking for stimulation."
She added: "He was a star. I'm still in awe, I always will be."
Justin Bieber's mother wants his fans to stop telling her that he makes them "horny".
Pattie Mallette - who has over 3.24 million followers on Twitter - has pleaded with his loyal army of followers, known as Beliebers, to stop sending sexually explicit messages to her on the social networking site as they make her feel uncomfortable.
She wrote: "Dear Sweet Beliebers, Please stop telling me my son makes you horny. It's NOT something a mom wants to hear. Love Mom #ThingsYouDontTellMom. (sic)"
However, Pattie is more than happy to continue to support his young fans and loves it when they refer to her as "mum".
The 39 year old offered some words of wisdom to the 'Boyfriend' singer's admirers last month, telling them to always "let out" their emotions and never bottle up their feelings.
She tweeted: "Leave it in the past they say, but you have to feel it to heal it & grieve it to leave it. #DontStuffYourPain #LetItOut #ScreamIfYouHaveTo
"When you stuff your pain it stays inside like poison even after years. Let it out you will feel so much better. #TearsAreLiquidPrayers (sic)"
After receiving grateful replies from numerous Beliebers, Pattie added: "I love it when you guys call me mom. I love you too!!! Hugs. (sic)"
Ben Whishaw will provide the voice of Paddington Bear in 'Paddington'.
The 33-year-old actor has been revealed as the new voice of the titular bear in the upcoming animation film after Colin Firth parted ways with the project earlier this year, admitting he couldn't find the right tone of voice for the character.
Whishaw - who is best known for playing Q in James Bond film 'Skyfall' - claimed he wasn't keen on the job at first but now can't wait to take his 18-month-old niece to see the movie.
He told the Daily Mail newspaper: "I resisted a little bit, because I had a bad experience doing this kind of work in the past and I thought I was no good at it. But I was persuaded to go, slightly grudgingly."
The 'Cloud Atlas' star added: "I'm delighted that she'll be able to see it and it'll be my voice. She'll know it's uncle ben."
The film - which will also feature the voices of Nicole Kidman and Hugh Bonneville - tells the story of a young Peruvian bear who becomes stranded at Paddington train station after travelling to London in search of a new home, until he's adopted by a kind family.
Director Paul King admitted he knew he'd finally found the perfect voice for Paddington after hearing Ben's audition.
He explained: "I slowly found myself hearing his voice when I was thinking about Paddington.
"He [Ben] breathes and he speaks and he sounds like Paddington..."
'Paddington' is scheduled for release in the UK on November 28 2014 and in the US on December 25 2014.
Ella Eyre insists Rudimental wouldn't have reached No1 without her.
The 20-year-old star features on the foursome's UK No1 hit single 'Waiting All Night' and claims that although she wasn't their first choice to provide vocals, she doesn't think they would have been as successful without her.
She explained: "Originally, 'Waiting All Night' wasn't with me but I believe it wouldn't have hit No1 without me."
However, the brunette beauty claims she's not being arrogant but simply feels their styles worked well together, meaning they were able to produce a hit.
She added to the Daily Star newspaper: "It worked because we found the right collaboration."
Ella is currently pursuing her own solo career with debut single 'If I Go', but continues to perform with the 'Feel The Love' hitmakers as well as Bastille - whom she collaborated with on 'No Angels'.
Speaking about travelling with Rudimental's DJ Locksmith, Kesi Dryden, Amir Amor and Piers Agget, she said: "Touring with Rudimental was dreadful in terms of hygiene, but great fun."
Quizzed on whether Bastille or Rudimental were her favourite, she added: "Bastille, but maybe because I've worked with them less."
Billie Faiers is "not against" her baby appearing on 'The Only Way is Essex'.
The 24-year-old reality star gave birth to a daughter - her first child with fiancé Greg Shepherd - last week and isn't worried about shielding her from the limelight.
She told Britain's OK! magazine: "I reckon she'll make a little appearance because she's going to be pictured out and about with me, so I'm not against having her on the show.
"Maybe you'll see her when the girls come around to visit, or I'll take her for a walk in the park."
Billie has had a whirlwind year as Greg, 29, proposed to her during a romantic getaway to the Maldives and having just started their own family, the blonde beauty is "ecstatic".
She gushed: "We've just been in the nursery saying how mad it is that she's finally here and that it's the start of our family life. Earlier the three of us were together, laughing and taking a family selfie. I was holding her and Greg said, 'I need to get in the picture.' It was lovely. We're really happy and already so in love with her. She's just perfect."
Cheryl Cole's marriage has not yet been made official.
The 31-year-old star revealed she had tied the knot to her French boyfriend Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini during a secret ceremony on the Caribbean island of Mustique last week, but it's now been claimed that the marriage has not yet been registered.
Officials at the Caribbean births, marriages and deaths department in Kingstown reportedly don't understand why JB has listed so many names on the marriage certificate as it reads, "Jean-Bernard Justin Antoine Aime Bastien Thierry".
A clerk from the office told The Sun newspaper that they're waiting to hear from the couple, saying: "We need to know the spelling of his names before we can process the documents and register the marriage."
Meanwhile, the part-time pastor who oversaw the ceremony - Devon R Ollivierre - has now revealed he had no idea Cheryl was famous and claimed he wouldn't have gone ahead with the nuptials if he'd known about her previous marriage to former England soccer star Ashley Cole.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I came to understand she was a singer but I didn't know who she was. She just told me she wanted something modest."
He added: "If I had the time I would question you regarding your divorce. But I didn't meet them before."
Kim Kardashian is reportedly on a strawberry only diet.
The 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' star is said to be trying out yet another fad diet, which requires her to eat nothing but strawberries for each meal of the day.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "She's giving it a go a few days of the week.
"She has strawberries for breakfast and lunch and strawberry smoothie snacks inbetween."
In addition to only taking part in the diet for a number of days out of each week, she's also allowed to have a cheat meal every now and again and reportedly plans to indulge in alcoholic treats.
The source continued: "She [Kim] joked that it's OK to have champagne and strawberries in the evening."
However, the 33-year-old beauty - who has 12-month-old daughter North with husband Kanye West - is not the first celebrity to limit herself to the fruit.
Victoria Beckham was criticised for her minimal diet while accompanying her former soccer star husband David Beckham to Portugal for the UEFA Euro tournament in 2004.
One of the other soccer players' wives said at the time: "She just eats strawberries and turns away all the great breakfasts and salads everyone else tucks into. Most days she has only one meal and that is strawberries.
"Sometimes she just sits there drinking mineral water while we all tuck in. It's a bit strange."
