Solange got into argument before Jay Z fight

Solange Knowles got into another argument before her elevator fight with Jay Z.
The 'Losing You' singer - who appeared to attack her brother-in-law in a lift in New York's Standard Hotel while attending an afterparty for the Met Gala last Monday (05.05.14) - was reportedly seen yelling at fashion designer Rachel Roy earlier in the evening.
The mother-of-one's famous sibling Beyonce, 32, "got in the middle of it" to cool the situation, an onlooker tells Us Magazine.
However, another source claims Solange yelled at numerous people, including Rachel, who was once married to Jay Z's former friend and business partner Damon Dash.
Surveillance footage emerged yesterday (12.05.14) of Beyonce's enraged younger sister hurtling towards Jay - real name Shawn Carter - in the lift, landing a series of punches and kicks while the 'Drunk in Love' singer stood back out of the fray.
It's not known what caused the heated altercation between Solange, 27, and the 44-year-old rapper, but all parties have remained tight-lipped about the incident.
A source said: "Beyonce tried to stay out of it. She does not approve of violence. They are trying to put the situation past them now."
Prior to the drama, Beyonce, 32, and her younger sister were seen dancing up a storm on the dancefloor with supermodel Naomi Campbell, while Jay - who has two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy with his spouse - "hung back at one of the fireplace areas".
Despite the controversial video, Beyonce and her husband were spotted last night at a basketball game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Miami Heat at the Barclays Centre in New York and appeared relaxed and carefree.

Ricky Wilson has bumper car injury on set of music video

Kaiser Chiefs' Ricky Wilson had an accident on the bumper cars while filming their next single.
The 36-year-old singer was spotted wearing an eyepatch at last night's (12.05.14) Radio Academy Awards and insists things got "out of hand" at the fairground when they were working on the video for their music.
He said: "We were filming a video for our next single and I had a minor accident.
"I was on a bumper car because we were filming in a fairground and things got out of hand.
"You'll understand why when you see the end result."
Ricky insists the incident could have happened anywhere since they weren't performing a dangerous stunt.
He added: "It wasn't even a stunt, it could have happened in the kitchen."
Meanwhile, the Kaiser Chiefs - also made up of Simon Rix, Vijay Mistry, Nick 'Peanut' Baines and Andrew White - recently admitted they want their track 'Coming Home' to be England's unofficial world cup anthem even though The Football Association have selected Gary Barlow's 'Greatest Day' - featuring former Spice Girl Mel C, Pixie Lott, Katy B and Gary Lineker - as the official track ahead of the competition in Brazil this summer.
Bassist Simon said: "Hopefully, 'Coming Home' will be played when England are carrying the World Cup on the plane back home."
Ricky joked: "We could always do a special edition - 'Coming Home Early!'"

Diana Vickers not surprised by I Can’t Sing axe

Diana Vickers isn't surprised 'The X Factor' musical 'I Can't Sing' has been axed.
The former 'X Factor' contestant, who shot to fame on the talent show in 2008, has now become a West End actress herself and admits she didn't see 'I Can't Sing' at the London Palladium and isn't shocked it closed on Saturday (10.05.14) after just two months.
She told BANG Showbiz: "I've not seen it but it's a shame it's closed. Once you've done that and been in it, I don't think I'd really want to go back [and watch the musical].
"New shows which go into theatres are not doing their time. People don't really have a lot of money. I don't think viewers of 'The X Factor' could afford to pay for a ticket, it can be quite expensive."
'I Can't Sing' received positive reviews for its satirical take on 'The X Factor' and its stars, including Simon - played by Nigel Harman - Cheryl Cole, Louis Walsh and host Dermot O'Leary.
Diana, 22, made her professional acting debut in the West End production of Jim Cartwright's 'The Rise and Fall of Little Voice' in 2009 and recently landed a part in ' The Duck House', starring Ben Miller, at London's Vaudeville Theatre, which was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Comedy this year.
The singer - who is promoting National Smile Month, which takes place between May 19 and June 19 - said: "Duck House was a new play and no-one even knew the script and we managed to do our run and break even, that was really good.
"It's never nice to hear when a theatre show closes and doesn't manage to stand the test of time."
Diana Vickers is the face of Wrigley's Extra White Bubblemint campaign for National Smile Month 2014, encouraging people to chew sugarfree gum for a clean and healthy smile.

Spencer Matthews: Stephanie fling meant nothing

Spencer Matthew insists his recent fling with Stephanie Pratt meant nothing.
The reality TV lothario incurred the wrath of his current love interest Emma Miller in last week's episode of 'Made in Chelsea' after it emerged he had locked lips with his American ex-girlfriend during a trip to Venice, but Spencer is adamant the tryst was no big deal.
He told new! magazine: "Stephanie and I were really drunk and we had a bit of fun. It's hilarious. The kiss didn't mean anything. We didn't hook up behind Emma's back because I still fancy Steph, we hooked up because I was so drunk I couldn't see."
Despite feeling humiliated by Spencer, Emma admits they are once again on friendly terms.
She said: "He apologised. At the moment we're still enjoying hanging out. We've always been more than just friends but you have to be careful if you want to be an official girlfriend with him. You have to be really sure."
Meanwhile, Emma thinks former 'The Hills' star Stephanie is more at fault for the drunken moment.
She added: "I felt Stephanie had come in with a game plan. She said he was awful and he cheated on his girlfriends and asked what I saw in him, then all of a sudden she's in bed with him. Maybe she was saying all that stuff to put me off."

Niall Horan to have join 21st with Liam Payne

Niall Horan is planning a joint 21st birthday party with Liam Payne.
The One Direction hunk is anticipating celebrating the milestone with his bandmate since their birthdays are only "two weeks" apart with Niall's on September 13 and Liam's on August 29.
He's excited about being able to have an alcoholic drink in the US where 1D - which also includes Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik - will be performing as part of their 'Where We Are Tour'.
Talking on Irish radio station Spin 103.8, Niall said: "I reckon myself and Liam are probably going to end up having a joint 21st because his birthday is about two weeks before mine.
"We'll have a few drinks there. We've been touring America for the past three years and not been able to touch a drop."
Niall is also glad to be performing in his hometown of Dublin at Croke Park where they kick off the European leg of their tour on May 23 and has been missing the place since he's not had a chance to visit since Christmas.
He explained: "Croker is going to be unbelievable, we're all saying it. It's been a while since we've been in Dublin last, I haven't been at home since Christmas."

Lily Allen finds it weird hearing her music in clubs

Lily Allen admits she finds it "weird" when she hears her music in clubs and often wants to leave.
The 'Hard Out Here' singer, who is celebrating after her comeback album 'Sheezus' went to number one in the UK Album Chart on Sunday (12.05.14), sometimes feels like hiding if one of her songs comes on in a bar because she finds it embarrassing.
Speaking to the British edition of GQ magazine, she said: "Usually if I'm in a club and my music comes on I find the nearest table and hide underneath it. That's generally how I deal with it."
The 29-year-old star insists she doesn't feel excited when she's with people and her music comes in a club and it makes her uncomfortable if someone purposefully put it on.
She explained: "It's quite funny because in some places they think that's the appropriate thing to do when someone like myself walks in is to play their song. I think I might be different to most people in the sense that I react: I'm horrified when that happens and hide. I'm sure some people get on the table and dance 'Woo hoo! This is great.' But I can't do that."
Lily thanked her followers on Twitter yesterday for getting it to the top spot, she wrote: "Yay!!!!!! Number 1 album, thank you lots and lots everyone. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. (sic)"

Bruce Willis wants to be a stay-at-home dad

Bruce Willis has confessed he would like to be a stay-at-home dad.
The 59-year-old actor's wife Emma Heming gave birth to their second daughter Evelyn, a sister for two-year-old Mabel, last week and the former model is delighted her spouse is such a hands-on parent.
Speaking before she gave birth to Evelyn, Emma told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "Luckily, Bruce decided to take some time off to help with Mabel during my pregnancy. He's a very hands-on dad - and secretly I think he'd like to be a stay-at-home dad.
"He's all hands on - and thankfully so. I really couldn't do it without him. That's why I have such respect for single parents. My mom was a single parent, she worked three jobs to support us. I look back and think, 'How could she juggle it all and not lose her mind?'
"I'm so grateful to have such a dedicated dad for our child ... He's a family man. He loves being a dad."
Emma and Bruce feel "grateful" he is able to spend so much time with their children as he was working so hard when his other kids - grown-up children Rumer, Scout and Tallulah, his kids from his marriage to ex-wife Demi Moore - were young.
The 35-year-old model-and-actress added: "When he had his first three kids he was making movie after movie. Of course, he was around and they would see him while filming.
"We are lucky enough to have that option that he can be home more often."
And the couple stay home with their daughter so often, even Emma's mother poked fun at their "boring" ways.
She said: "As for our social life, we're both low-key. We aren't at every party, nor do we want to be. We love being at home with Mabel. My mom calls us a right bore."

Alex Reid: Katie’s friend ‘tried it on’ with me

Alex Reid claims Katie Price's former best friend "tried it on" with him.
The former glamour model was left devastated last week when she discovered her married pal Jane Pountney had been having an affair with her husband Kieran Hayler - the father of her unborn baby and youngest child, nine-month-old son Jett, - and now her second husband has claimed she used to flirt with him too.
Speaking to the new issue of OK! magazine, Alex said: "Jane is very flirtatious! Jane tried it on with me, but I never considered it."
And the cage fighter - who was married to Katie for just under a year until they split in January 2011 - claims Jane used to say "unkind" things about his then-wife.
He added: "Jane could be two-faced - she'd say things about Kate that I thought were unkind"
Alex still cares for his former spouse, who has three other children from previous relationships - and feels very "sad" for her current situation.
The hunk - who has a young daughter, Dolly, with his ex-fiancee Chantelle Houghton - said: "At six months pregnant, Katie must be devastated - I feel nothing but sadness for her. I'll always have love in my heart for Katie."
It was recently claimed that Katie was convinced Jane wanted to have "flings" with many of her other former partners.
Discussing claims she plans to consult a psychic about the future of her marriage, a source said: "It's no laughing matter for her. She's desperate for answers. She thinks they're scheming to get their stories straight. And she says Jane would have liked flings with several of her exes - but only Kieran was stupid enough to fall for it."

Peaches Geldof’s home raided by thieves

Peaches Geldof's home has been raided twice by thieves since her tragic death last month.
Police are currently investigating a double burglary at the late star's marital house in Wrotham, Kent, South East England, after it was reported a ride-on lawnmower had been snatched from the grounds in mid-April.
Peaches' father Sir Bob Geldof was planning to keep the outdoor machine in memory of his daughter, 25, but was left devastated when he discovered it had been stolen.
A neighbour told The Sun newspaper: "I know a mobile lawnmower was taken. Bob wanted to keep it for sentimental reasons, but it was broken so he asked someone to do it up.
"I spoke to the mechanic but he said they told him he couldn't repair it as it had been stolen. It's shocking to think someone would do that so soon after Peaches died."
However, last Friday (09.05.14) the thieves struck again, but this time they deliberately damaged CCTV cameras located at the £1 million property, before breaking in.
Police rushed to the house within five minutes of receiving an emergency call, but the cruel culprits had already fled scene without taking anything.
Peaches was found dead by her husband Thomas Cohen on April 7 at the home they shared with their two sons Astala, two, and Phaedra, one.
An inquest heard earlier this month that heroin was "likely" to have played a role in the blonde beauty's death.
However, police have since released a statement insisting Thomas is not under suspicion of involvement in her death.

Michael Lohan’s fiancée rushed to hospital after seizure

Michael Lohan's fiancée was rushed to hospital yesterday (12.05.14) after suffering from a seizure.
Kate Major was escorted from a nearby rehab facility to the JFK Medical Center near West Palm Beach in Florida after complaining of chest pain, according to TMZ.com
It is not known what caused the medical emergency, but Kate suffered a similar health scare in 2011 when she was also rushed from rehab to hospital following a seizure.
On March 18, the troubled mother was sentenced to spend time in rehab and ordered to pay $15,000 after she was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).
Kate's arrest came after Michael called the police following a "nasty argument", which broke out at their home in Florida, where she allegedly hit him several times, before fleeing the property in her vehicle.
However, when law enforcement officers managed to catch up with Kate, it is believed she was three times over the limit and struggled to find her nose with her finger.
Police were also called to their home address in February after Kate claimed Michael, who is the father of Lindsay Lohan, threatened to kill her with a knife.
Although, Kate - who has 15-month-old son Landon with Michael - released a statement shortly after the incident, which she aired on Twitter, claiming she regretted bad-mouthing her fiancé online.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to take time off after wedding

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are planning to take some time off from work after their wedding.
The couple - who have 10-month-old daughter North together - are tying the knot in Paris on May 24 and, although they will be jetting off on honeymoon after their nuptials, they will also be taking an extended break from their globe-trotting careers to spend time as a family.
A source told PEOPLE.com: "They're planning on taking some time off for sure. They're used to busy schedules but they want to have some downtime as newlyweds - and together as a family."
Meanwhile, the loved-up pair - who got engaged last October - insist their big day will be a small and intimate affair, with just their close friends and family present.
The duo were initially rumoured to have tied the knot earlier this month in a private ceremony in Los Angeles after allegedly securing a marriage licence last month.
However, Kim, 33, took to her Twitter account last weekend to confess that she and the rapper, 36 - who currently reside in California - haven't got married yet.
Although, it is believed the couple will be forced to legally wed in California before their romantic bash in Paris as the French law requires a strict 40-day residency before they can get hitched in the country.
