Jennifer Lopez nervous about first book

Jennifer Lopez is nervous about baring her soul in her new book.
The singer's first ever autobiography about her life and loves, 'True Love', is out in October and she is worried about making her most intimate thoughts public.
She admitted to People magazine: "What's funny is, I didn't start off the project wanting to bare my soul in print. It started off as a diary of the year I went on tour ... and when I was on the road, it became something else. I really surprised myself, and I realised, 'Oh my God, I'm writing this book.'
"Even to this day, I think, 'Do I put this book out there?' I did a lot of soul searching and praying, because I don't ever want it to be mistaken for anything other than it was, which is sharing something I learned with people I could help."
The 'On The Floor' hitmaker, who became the first ever female recipient of the Icon Award at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (18.05.14), believes her fans might be surprised by some of the confessions in the book, especially regarding the breakdown of her eight-year marriage to Marc Anthony - the father of her six-year-old twins Max and Emme - in 2012.
She explained: "I changed a lot as a person. It was a very transformative moment in my life. I had gone through a lot of changes and then confronting fears of having never toured and being a mom on my own. It was a real shellshock time for me."

Bruce Springsteen shouts out wrote state at gig

Bruce Springsteen confused fans during a show in America on Saturday night (17.05.14) by continually calling out the wrong state.
The 'Dancing in the Dark' hitmaker was playing a gig at the at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, but left the audience baffled by shouting out to "Massachusetts" throughout the concert.
According to New York Daily News, the audience corrected him by shouting back "No!" - after he got the state wrong a number of times.
Springsteen, who still thrilled the crowd with a three and a half hour-long show, then realised his error and gave a shout-out to the Connecticut Food Bank volunteers who were collecting donations at the gig.
The 64-year-old star was also joined onstage by the E-Street band, who were recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, including longtime guitarist and former 'Sopranos' actor Steve Van Zandt.
Springsteen opened the show with 'Racing in the Street' and perform countless well-known hits, including 'Radio Nowhere'. The concert, along with another on the Sunday at the same venue, were the last two dates on his 'High Hopes Tour'.
Meanwhile, a representative for the singer revealed he has no plans to head out on the road again yet.

Queen hint at Australia tour

Queen have hinted they will return to Australia this year for their first tour since 1985.
The 'We Will Rock You' band, made up of original members Brian May and Roger Taylor, along with 'American Idol' runner-up Adam Lambert, who replaced the late Freddie Mercury, revealed they are preparing to head to a un-named location "for the first time in 30 years."
Promoters The Dainty Group posted a message announcing a "Royal" tour announcement will be made tomorrow (20.05.14) morning.
An earlier post on the group's Facebook wall also links to a countdown timer which will expire on Saturday, August 23, a week after Queen play two shows at the Super Sonic Festival in South Korea and Japan's Summer Sonic.
Queen haven't toured in Australia since April 1985 when Freddie still fronted the band, before his death in 1991 of bronchopneumonia brought on by AIDS.
Guitarist Brian previously spoke about the band heading out on their current 19-date tour in the US and having Adam on board as the lead vocalist.
He said: "We're here live and real and we have a great singer. They'll be a lot of newness about this. I think that's very exciting. It'll be loud and dangerous and all the things that people used to look for in us."

Glee’s Kevin McHale to host panel show

Glee's Kevin McHale will host a new E4 panel show.
The actor, who is best known for playing Artie Abrams on the hit musical comedy show, will host 'Virtually Famous', which will look at the biggest viral moments on social media networks such as Twitter, YouTube and Vine.
Each week, Kevin will oversee two teams - led by comedian Sean Walsh and Radio 1's Chris Stark - as they battle it out for points by answering questions about viral memes, popular Twitter posts, infamous clips on YouTube and more.
The people behind the viral sensations will also be invited on to the show for special guest appearances.
Kevin's new role comes as 'Glee' enters its final season.
The award-winning show - which also stars Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Naya Rivera and Darren Criss - will end in 2015 after six years.
'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy announced the show's end last year, revealing that he originally intended the final moments to feature Lea's character, Rachel Berry, and Finn Hudson - played by the late Cory Monteith, who tragically died in July 2013.
However, Ryan says the reworked series finale will be "satisfactory" and will honour Cory.

Vanessa Redgrave to appear in Call the Midwife

Vanessa Redgrave will appear on-screen in 'Call the Midwife'.
The 77-year-old actress, who narrates the series as a mature Jennifer Worth, will make her first appearance on the show in this year's Christmas special.
Filming on the fourth series has just begun and will see the introduction of two new characters, Nurse Phyllis Crane, played by 'Lark Rise to Candleford' star Linda Bassett and Nurse Barbara Gilbert, played by 'Fresh Meat' actress Charlotte Ritchie.
Producer Pippa Harris said: "We're all delighted to be welcoming Vanessa Redgrave on screen, having hugely enjoyed her narration of the series to date.
"It's also terrific that [show creator and executive producer] Heidi Thomas has created two wonderful new characters for the series, and that we're fortunate enough to have Linda Bassett and Charlotte Ritchie joining our regular and much-loved team at Nonnatus House."
Heidi added: "The medical, social and emotional stories at the heart of 'Call the Midwife' continue to inspire and compel me. The Nonnatus House nurses and midwives feel like my best-loved friends."
Vanessa has voiced an older Jennifer Worth on the show since its inception, while Jessica Raine played a younger version of the character before quitting at the end of the third series earlier this year.
The new series will take place in 1960 and depict big changes to London's East End, where the show is set.

Catfish’s Nev Schulman feels ‘vulnerable’ online

Catfish's Nev Schulman is scared of people impersonating him online.
The 29-year-old presenter of the MTV reality show - in which he and co-star Max Joseph unmask people using fake social media profiles to build relationships - admitted he feels "vulnerable" and "scared" when he thinks about people stealing his identity on the internet.
Nev exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I know for example there was one Facebook page - because I don't have a personal Facebook page - there was one pretending to me that had a lot of fans or followers or friends, I should say, on the page and was doing a really good job of convincing people that it was in fact me.
"It's scary because I can't control that and I can't know what someone's going to say and pretend. If they are pretending to be me how seriously will people take it? It really does put me in a vulnerable position that there is very little I can do about."
Nev even believes - in an echo of the reality show - that people believe they are building a personal relationship with him and are unaware that the profile is a fake.
He said: "It's very possible that someone may have been out having a more direct personal correspondence with one of those friends. It wouldn't surprise me if that was the case."
Nev insists that 'Catfish' - now in its third series - is doing even more to bring justice to those who have been tricked by such profiles on the internet.
He said: "The internet is still sort of lawless and part of what Max and I are doing, especially in Season 3, is holding people accountable and going after these catfish - or in some cases criminals - that think because it's the internet that they can get away with it and do whatever they want. [We're] picking up, in many cases, where the police have left off or simply cannot go any further, really bringing some justice."
'Catfish: The TV Show' airs on MTV tonight at 9pm.

Broadchurch creator: US remake is an experiment

'Broadchurch' creator Chris Chibnall has described the US remake of the hit series as an "experiment."
The writer, who is also working on 'Gracepoint' in America, thinks the producers have done an "incredible job" and he doesn't find it unusual they are remaking the ITV murder mystery drama with original star David Tennant.
Speaking at the British Academy Television Awards at London's Theatre Royal last night (18.05.14), he said: "The original show didn't air to a large number of people at all in America. And the offer was there so ['Gracepoint'] seemed like an interesting thing to be a part of. It's an experiment and I think they've done a really incredible job.
"I've come from theatre and you have different productions of a text in theatre. It's not unusual. I find it surprising that people find it surprising, actually."
But Chris did admit he is more focused on the eagerly-awaited second season of 'Broadchurch', rather than 'Gracepoint' in America, saying: "My main focus is on 'Broadchurch' [series] two, really, to be honest."
Chris picked up the award for Best Drama Series, as well as supporting the show's stars Olivia Colman and David Bradley who were awarded gongs for Leading Actress and Supporting Actor on the night.
Speaking about the show's BAFTA success, he said: "I'm in shock. I didn't expect that at all. I came here very pessimistic tonight and I'm completely blown away."

Ken Watanabe: Godzilla is still relevant

Ken Watanabe says there's interest in 'Godzilla' because people are still terrified of nuclear power.
The 54-year-old actor insists that titular monster who first appeared in Ishiro Honda's 1954 film, where he was a metaphor for nuclear weapons following the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, is still relevant for audiences today since it deals with topics which we're "fascinated" by.
He told collider.com: "[The] 1954 Godzilla was born out of fear that people were fascinated by nuclear weapons after the Bikini Islands nuclear tests.
"Then three years ago we had experiences in Japan, collapse of a nuclear power plant due to a major earthquake and tsunami.
"Even after 60 years people are still fascinated by Godzilla, why? After all these years people are still fascinated by Godzilla because after all these years the things terrify us for nuclear power, nuclear energy, our fear."
Watanabe - who plays Dr. Ishiro Serizawa in the 2014 sci-fi film - still enjoys hearing the monster roar.
He added: "I became so excited whenever he lets out his roar. It's very strong, but its something of a scream of sadness I felt. His screaming is like it's scorning us for humanity's foolishness."

Stephen Mangan: Postman Pat is cooler than Bond

Stephen Mangan says being Postman Pat is cooler than being James Bond.
The 41-year-old actor voices the children's favourite in a new animated movie and feels the part is more prestigious than that of the famous spy, because so few actors have played Pat.
Talking to BANG Showbiz, he said: "You grow up thinking you might be James Bond one day and you turn out to be Postman Pat. There has only been three Postman Pats - two guys on the telly did it and me - so there are fewer Postman Pats than James Bonds out there."
Stephen decided to voice the iconic character because it's a show that his sons, Frank and Harry, can enjoy.
He explained: "It never occurs to you that you might be asked to be Postman Pat, but as soon as I was asked I said yes. Partly because it is something the children can watch - I've got a three- and a six-year-old, and most of the stuff I do is pretty adult - pretty filthy, actually - so they won't watch that until they are 30, let alone 18 or 21.
"So it is really nice to do something that I can take them along to. It is a bit confusing when they ask, 'What do you do for living daddy, what's your job?' "
'Postman Pat' is out on May 23.

Hugh Jackman in favour of Wolverine prequel

Hugh Jackman thinks there should be a 'Wolverine' prequel.
The actor has already considered the fate of his clawed alter-ego when he gets too old for the role and is in favour 'Spider-Man' style reboot, which would allow producers to explore an earlier, teenage version of the character.
He mused during an interview with Collider.com: "I was 30 when I got the role. It would be interesting to follow that character from 20, or even 18. Because we haven't seen it."
The Australian star wants to exit the role with his head held high and is wary of overstaying his welcome playing the mutant superhero.
Jackman said: "Personally I was always inspired by Jerry Seinfeld and how he left that show at its height on his own terms. I think that's a really smart way to do it.
"It'd be great to leave people wanting more and also great to leave on your own terms rather than getting that phone call, 'Now listen, Hugh, thank you so much for all you've done'..."
Hot on the heels of the release of 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' and two standalone 'Wolverine' films, Jackman thinks the franchise just keep getting bigger and better, so has no plans to quit yet.
He enthused: "I'm enjoying this more than ever. I think from what Jane [Goldman] pulled off with the script to Brian [Singer] and Simon [Kinberg], for me there has to be some new direction for the character to go, and I feel like that's been happening.
"Right now I don't [want to leave] and as long as it keeps going in this direction I probably won't. [But] I know there's 10 million actors out there who would love to play the part!"

Rochelle Humes to christen daughter Alaia-Mai

Rochelle Humes is having her daughter christened for her first birthday.
The Saturdays singer and presenter, whose daughter Alaia-Mai with husband Marvin turns one tomorrow (20.05.14), is marking the special occasion by having her blessed at church.
She told BANG Showbiz: "We're getting her christened and it will be a joint thing, we're looking forward to it."
Asked how she feels about her daughter turning one, she said: "It scares me. I feel really old when I say, 'Ohhh it's gone so quick', I try not to say that because I sound like my mum but it really has gone quickly. I don't want her to grow up anymore, I want to keep her how she is."
The 25-year-old star, who presented an award with Marvin at the British Academy Television Awards last night (18.05.14) at London's Theatre Royal, thinks motherhood changes "everything" and there are many things she now has to go without despite loving being a mum.
She explained: "I'll never have that sleep again where you completely sleep for ages."
Meanwhile, Rochelle said she had a great day watching Marvin's JLS co-star JB Gill marry dancer Chloe Tangney in Mount Stuart on the Isle of Bute recently.
Rochelle added: "It was a beautiful day. It's our second anniversary this year and I would like to renew my vows one day, but ask me in 20 years."
