Kim Kardashian limits wedding guest list

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will be surrounded by guests who have "loved them for a long time" at their wedding next Saturday (24.05.14).
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star arrived in Paris with their 11-month-old daughter, North West, and 12 suitcases in tow today (18.05.14), and immediately met up with her fiancé for some ice-cream to kick start their "wedding week" ahead of their lavish nuptials that will reportedly take place at the Palace of Versailles.
Despite the attention surrounding their big day, a source close to the reality TV star, 33, and the rapper, 36, said they are keeping their guest list to strictly family and close friends, including US tennis star Serena Williams and Kim's childhood pal Brittny Gastineau.
The insider told PEOPLE.com: "The wedding is small and intimate. It's not going to be a big blowout like her last one."
The brunette beauty invited more than 440 people, including Eva Longoria, Ryan Seacrest, Demi Lovato and Lindsay Lohan, to watch her tie the knot with Kris Humphries in 2011, whom she subsequently split from after just 72 days of marriage, but very few celebrities will watch her become Mrs. West.
The source explained: "This wedding is really about Kim and Kanye and people who have known and loved them for a long time. And everyone who is invited just can't wait for the wedding week to begin!"
The couple are expected to exchange vows in the exclusive Orangerie at the world famous palace, located 12 miles outside the French capital, despite recent rumours their wedding would take place at the Belvedere Fort in Florence, Italy, but are said to have planned multiple other celebrations.

Sean Penn stars in Jay Z and Beyonce’s new video

Jay Z and Beyoncé star alongside Blake Lively and Sean Penn in their new music video.
The couple - who will kick off their 'On The Run Tour' next month - have released a star-studded fake movie trailer, titled 'Run,' for their new duet 'Part II (On the Run),' that also includes cameos from Jake Gyllenhaal, Emmy Rossum, Don Cheadle, Rashida Jones and her sister, Kidada Jones, as well as 'Scandal' star Guillermo Diaz.
Oscar-winning actor Sean and former 'Gossip Girl' star Blake, 26, have the most lines in the dramatic montage. Both stars offer advice to the duo, who play bank robbers on the run, as the song, which appears on the rapper's album, 'Magna Carta... Holy Grail,' plays in the background.
The new video comes just days after Jay Z and Beyoncé - who got married in 2008 and have two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy - released a joint statement with her younger sister, Solange Knowles, following their elevator altercation at the Met Ball afterparty in New York City on May 5.
Shocking footage of the 'Losing You' singer hitting her brother-in-law went public last week, but they insisted they have put the "unfortunate incident" - which Maya Rudolph helped spoof the on the season finale of 'Saturday Night Live' last night (17.05.14) - behind them.
In another act of unity, the couple flew to New Orleans, Louisiana, to spend the weekend with Solange, and Beyoncé shared new pictures of them looking very happy together on her Instagram profile yesterday.
The trio also enjoyed a two hour lunch at Cafe Amelie, according to TMZ.com.

Charlize Theron is ‘very happy’

Charlize Theron is "very happy" with Sean Penn.
The 'A Million Ways to Die in the West' actress, who has an adopted two-year-old son Jackson, started dating the 'Milk' star late last year and is besotted with the Oscar-winning actor.
Asked about their romance, the 38-year-old star told 'Extra': "I am very happy. I will say that. I'm very happy. I'm not very good at talking about my private life, but we are very happy, yes."
The couple have been tight-lipped about their relationship since they were first photographed enjoying a New Year's holiday to Hawaii in early January, but have attended a number of red carpet events together.
Sean, 53, was present for the premiere of the blonde beauty's new movie in Los Angeles earlier this week and the duo were spotted looking very cosy at the after party.
An eyewitness told UsMagazine.com: "They were very touchy feely and sweet. She was caressing his back as they chatted closely.
"They left on the early side. Sean held her hand and walked her to the car."
A source previously claimed that the couple, who recently moved in together in LA, have also talked about adopting a child together.
Sean already has two children, Dylan, 23, and Hopper, 20, with his ex-wife Robin Wright.

Justin Bieber ditches sizzurp

Justin Bieber has reportedly stopped consuming sizzurp.
The 'Baby' hitmaker, who has been criticised for his bad behaviour over the past few months and was accused of getting into a heated argument with fan for trying to take his picture last week, is said to have stopped drinking the controversial cocktail - a mixture of Sprite, Jolly Tancher sweets and medications codeine and promethazine - last month.
A source told gossip website TMZ.com that the 20-year-old singer decided to get clean as he has become obsessed with exercise and thought it was hampering his efforts in the gym.
The insider said that Justin has also been spending more time with his manager, Scooter Braun, and mother, Pattie Mallette, since ditching his "sizzurp binges."
Another source recently insisted that Justin, who spent time with Paris Hilton, Bradley Cooper's girlfriend, Suki Waterhouse, and model Daisy Lowe in Cannes, France, on Saturday night (17.05.14), is determined to get his life back on track and is "trying to be a better person."
The friend added: "He's making more of an effort to hang out with people who are positive influences in his life."
Paris, 33, left Gotha Nightclub with the Canadian star, who has an on-again, off-again relationship with Selena Gomez, after celebrating Busta Rhymes' birthday, according to the MailOnline.

Pamela Anderson reveals history of sexual abuse

Pamela Anderson has revealed she was molested and repeatedly raped as a child.
The former 'Baywatch' actress opened up about her "most painful memories" of being sexual abused for the first time and admitted the terrifying ordeals left her feeling suicidal, as she launched her new animal welfare charity, The Pamela Anderson Foundation, at the Cannes International Film Festival.
The 46-year-old star nervously told her guests: "I feel now might be the time to reveal a few of my most painful memories. At the risk of over-exposing myself, again, or being inappropriate, again, I thought I might share with you why I am doing this.
"I did not have an easy childhood, I was molested from age six by a female babysitter.
"I went to her boyfriend's house, and his older brother decided to teach me backgammon, which led into a back massage, which led into rape - my first heterosexual experience. He was 25 years old and I was 12."
Pamela, who re-married her ex-husband Rick Salomon earlier this year, was later gang raped by her first boyfriend and his friends.
She explained: "He decided it would be funny to gang rape me with six friends. I wanted off this earth."
She added: "This meant I had a hard time trusting humans. I wasn't sure why I was alive. A burning question."
Pamela doesn't blame her parents for the assaults.
She said: "My parents tried to keep me safe, but to me the world was not a safe place. My dad was an alcoholic, my mum worked two jobs, my mum was always crying, dad didn't always come home."
But the actress, who has sons Brandon, 17, and Dylan, 16, with her ex-husband Tommy Lee, credited her love of animals for helping her to move past the incidents.
She said: "My affinity with animals saved me. It came to me naturally. The trees spoke to me.
"My loyalty was with the animal kingdom and I vowed to protect them and only them."

Heidi Klum gushes about new boyfriend

Heidi Klum says her new boyfriend is kind and compassionate.
The 40-year-old model, who started dating Vito Schnabel in February just weeks after she announced her split from her bodyguard Martin Kristen, is completely smitten with the 27-year-old art dealer.
Asked what makes their relationship work, the German beauty said: "I look at people with my heart. I look for their kindness and humour and compassion."
Friends close to Heidi recently predicted that she could marry her toyboy boyfriend in the near future.
One insider said: "She's so happy that it wouldn't surprise me if Heidi shocked the world and made him husband number three."
The 'America's Got Talent' judge, who has four children, Leni, nine, Henry, eight, Johan, seven, and Lou, four, with her ex-husband Seal, admits she feels very lucky and has been working with the American Red Cross for 10 years because she thinks it's important to give back.
She told PEOPLE.com: "I try to get a lot of goodies from the people I work with. I realise how fortunate I am. When you go out into these desperate situations, when you sit at a hospital with sick children of course it changes you. We are used to seeing horrifying catastrophes on television, but when you are about to go and be there and see the sadness on people's faces and the things they just lost, it makes a huge difference."

Avril Lavigne is ‘so proud’ of ex-husband

Avril Lavigne has encouraged her ex-husband to "stay strong."
The 'Here's To Never Growing Up' hitmaker - who is married to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger - voiced her support for Deryck Whibley on Twitter after he opened up about his battle with alcoholism from his hospital bed.
In a post titled 'Rock Bottom,' the 34-year-old Sum 41 rocker, who has been receiving treatment for a month, wrote: "The reason I got so sick is from all the hard boozing I've been doing over the years. It finally caught up to me.
"I was drinking hard every day. Until one night. I was sitting at home, poured myself another drink around midnight and was about to watch a movie when all of a sudden I didn't feel so good. I then collapsed to the ground unconscious."
Deryck panicked when he woke up in an intensive care unit, but is determined to get his life back on track.
He added: "I had no idea where I was. I was so freaked out. My liver and kidneys collapsed on me. Needless to say it scared me straight. I finally realised I can't drink anymore. If I have one drink the docs say I will die (sic)."
The Canadian musician divorced Avril in 2010 after four years of marriage, but she still supports him.
After reading his post, the 29-year-old beauty tweeted on Saturday night (17.05.14): "I am so proud of him. He is family to me and always will be. #StayStrongDeryck"

Nicole Kidman puts her family first

Nicole Kidman would turn her back on Hollywood for Keith Urban.
The 'Grace of Monaco' star, who has two daughters, Sunday, five, and Faith, three, with the country music star, also consults her husband before taking on any film roles, as their family is the most important thing to her.
Asked if she would have taken on the part in the controversial new movie without the 'American Idol' judge's approval, she said: "If he said no, I wouldn't have done it. That's how we are."
She added: "I know this sounds old-fashioned, but I do put it on the table. Because if it won't work for us, then I'm not doing it."
The 46-year-old star wouldn't hesitate to give up her career for the sake of her marriage to Keith.
She told the MailOnline: "Yeah, if he asked me. No question."
The Oscar-winning beauty, who also has daughter Isabella, 21, and son Connor, 19, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise, added: "I know now what I probably didn't know in my 20s. I would absolutely know now that I would always choose the sanctity and sacredness of my family, and if that was ever in jeopardy, no question."
Despite her traditional approach to family, Nicole still considers herself a feminist.
She said: "I was raised to speak my mind. I was raised by a feminist mother. So my antenna for that is very strong.
"I am a huge believer in the education of women, which is why I sit here and say in terms of the girls in Nigeria that have been kidnapped, we have to fight to bring them back. Being born female your birth-right gives you the right for education."

Brian McFadden: Stand By Your Man is wild

Brian McFadden says 'Stand By Your Man' is "much wilder" than 'Take Me Out'.
The former Westlife singer is hosting the new Channel 5 show and promised viewers a raunchy, controversial programme which definitely can't be "aired before the watershed".
He told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "The contestants are very forward - it's much wilder than 'Take Me Out'.
"If it aired before the watershed we'd have to cut most of the footage. It would only last about five minutes ... I was shocked by a lot of it.
"These boys and girls have no filter. They're all driven by sex so it's a very modern show."
Even just hosting the show has convinced the star he was right to avoid dating, admitting he wouldn't have been as confident as the contestants.
Brian - who was first married to Kerr Katona before he wed Vogue Williams in 2012 - added: "I'd never really been a dater before I got married.
"That's why this show was a real eye-opener for me. It's made me glad I'm married. If I was in the dating world I'd be in serious trouble.
"The way guys have to go about and how forward they have to be, I think I'd struggle. In the old days men would hold doors open for women but now girls seem to go for the bad boys."
