Seth Rogen praises wife

Seth Rogen thinks his wife is "incredible" for the way she has "embraced" her mother's Alzheimer's Disease.
The 32-year-old actor and his spouse Lauren Miller helped found the organisation Hilarity For Charity (HFC), which aims to use the power of laughter to bring attention to the degenerative disease, and he admits it has forced her to share "an inherently very unhappy" part of her life.
The 'This Is The End' star said: "My wife Lauren's mom was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's when she was in her early 50s. Out of a sense of desperation - and wanting to feel like we were doing something - we, along with some friends, started Hilarity for Charity, a comedy variety show.
"The fact that Lauren has embraced everything that goes along with the disease and is sharing her story? It's incredible.
"She's been forced to delve into a part of her life that is inherently very unhappy."
Seth admits Lauren sometimes finds it very difficult, but is determined to continue doing as much as possible in the hope there can one day be a cure for the degenerative condition.
He explained to People magazine: "Ultimately the hopes is to discover a cure. But in the meantime we're focusing on more tangible goals and have started a program to get scholarships for in-home care for people with Alzheimer's. I just hope we're able to capture the attention of more young people and get the disease the type of funding it deserves."

Fergie values husband more

Fergie appreciates Josh Duhamel more since the birth of their son.
The Black Eyed Peas singer and her 'Transformers' actor husband welcomed son Axl into the world 13 months ago and she admits she felt "blessed" to have a spouse so knowledgeable about children because her knowledge on even basic care was limited.
The 39-year-old star said: "I'm so blessed to have the husband I have.
"He really helped me with certain things, like diaper changing and all that, because he grew up around babies and I didn't."
The 'LA Love' hitmaker, who married the 'Safe Haven' actor in 2009, admits they both have very busy schedules, but make sure to spend lots of time together at the weekend.

Josh and Fergie are already hoping to expand their family again in the near future.
The blonde beauty said: "We definitely want another."

Ellen Pompeo was with surrogate for insemination

Ellen Pompeo "held hands" with her surrogate when she was inseminated.
The 'Grey's Anatomy' actress and her husband Chris Ivery recently welcomed their second daughter, Sienna, into the world via a surrogate and the couple were present for every stage of the process.
She said: "I was present for the insemination. I held her hand. So, they take the sperm...Medically, Chris has to do what he has to do and provide, and then I had to provide something as well, you know? You have to retrieve the egg.
"And then they put it together in a dish, the lab technicians, and then they make the embryo. Then they insert the embryo into the woman who will carry the child.
I was there with her when they inseminated her and we held hands. I looked into the microscope and I saw the embryo, I saw the baby, and they put it in a thingy and they inseminated her. And then we held hands and we prayed, we talked to God, and if she was meant to be. He said he was going to try to help us out and now we have a gorgeous baby girl."
The 44-year-old actress - who already has five-year-old Stella with Chris - will be "forever grateful" to the unnamed woman who agreed to carry their child.
She told talk show host Jimmy Kimmel: "This is an incredible thing to do with your life, to give the gift of carrying someone's child, so I am forever grateful and feel very blessed and grateful to her - she who will remain anonymous."

Jennifer Garner: Ben’s body is like a new man

Jennifer Garner feels like she's having an affair because Ben Affleck's body has changed so much.
The 'Alexander and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day' star is incredibly impressed with the physical transformation her spouse has undertaken while bulking up to portray Batman in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'.
Speaking on 'Live with Kelly and Michael', she said: "You know, he has put on 30 pounds of muscle and he's 8% body fat. He looks pretty good.
"It's a little bit like, 'Whoa, who are you?' It feels like I'm having an affair. But I don't mind, I'm not complaining!"
While Jennifer is impressed with Ben's new project, he recently admitted their three kids, Violet, eight, Seraphina, five, and Samuel, two, "couldn't give a s**t" about the superhero saga because they prefer Disney's animated adventure 'Frozen'.
He said: "People always say, 'Are your kids into it?' No, they're not. If I was doing the sequel to 'Frozen', I would be a hero. My two older daughters could give a s**t about Batman.
"They love 'Frozen'. And the indignity is so great that they have now passed that affection onto my son. He's like, 'Papa, can I watch 'Frozen'?' and I'm like, 'No, dude! It's not on again!'

Keira Knightely was ‘beastly’ to Benedict Cumberbatch

Keira Knightley and Benedict Cumberbatch are "beastly" to each other.
'The Imitation Game' actress has admitted she can give as good as she gets with her co-star Benedict Cumberbatch - who she first met whilst filming the 2007 movie 'Atonement', in which Benedict played the rapist Paul Marshall and Keira played Cecilia Tallis.
Talking about their working relationship to the Daily Mail newspaper, Keira said: "Actually, I think I'm quite beastly to him as well. We're sort of mutually beastly to each other. But Benedict's been a friend ever since [2007] and it's always nice to work with friends.
"You look at him in 'Atonement' and he's all horrible and a rapist and quite disgusting, and in 'Imitation Game' he's a tortured genius who's affable and misunderstood. He can just do anything really."
In 'The Imitation Game', Keira and Benedict play the cryptanalysts, Joan Clarke and Alan Turing, who are attempting to decipher the Nazis' enigma code during World War II, something which made the actress more aware of the issues women used to face.
She explained: "Even though she did get into the room with the boys, and do the job she was hired to do, she never got anywhere near the same pay as any of the guys.
"They had to lie and say she was a linguist to get her more money - even though she spoke no other languages."

Maichael Caine says Christopher Nolan is his ‘lucky charm’

Sir Michael Caine considers director Christopher Nolan to be his "lucky charm".
The 81-year-old actor and Nolan, 44, have worked together on six films - including 'Inception' and the 'Batman' franchise - and Caine lauded the achievements of his collaborator during 'A Night Out With... Sir Michael Caine' at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Wednesday (01.10.14).
Speaking at the event, Caine reflected on their new sci-fi movie 'Interstellar', saying : "By all accounts he's done it again, Christopher Nolan, three 'Batmans', 'Inception' and... another one. I think he's brilliant."
The 'Zulu' star - who appeared at the event in aid of the NSPCC, which helps disadvantaged children - continued: "Failure doesn't worry people cause you have to get up and dust yourself off. I've never worried about a movie that failed, I never had any money in them anyway.
"Me and Christopher have now done six movies. He always says I'm his lucky charm and I'm always saying he's my lucky charm. It's been an incredible ride."
'Interstellar', which centres on a team of space travelers who travel through a wormhole, features a star-studded cast that includes Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain.
Asked what people can expect from 'Interstellar', Caine told BANG Showbiz: "Fans can expect something entirely different from what we've done before like Inception and Batman.
"Take my word for it, the film is going to be extraordinary. I haven't seen it yet, I'm seeing it this week but from what I hear it's fantastic. It's no surprise to me because I think Nolan is the best British director since David Lynne."

Celia Sawyer wants to design home for Jack Nicholson

Celia Sawyer wants to design a home for Jack Nicholson.
The 'Four Rooms' star - who is a businesswoman, interior designer and art dealer both through television shows and her own companies - has revealed she'd love to work on the Hollywood legend's home.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I think he's funny. I think he would be quite quirky and quite interesting to design for.
"Although, sometimes I have found people with those kinds of characters tend to have a very basic home. They don't tend to be like you'd imagine so I'd be quite intrigued to know what he would be like and what his home would be like."
The 38-year-old claims, however, that despite working with a number of celebrities on the interiors of their homes, she never finds herself in awe of them and maintains a strictly professional attitude.
She added: "I don't get starstruck. I'll tell you why - I do a lot of celebrities, high-network business people ... I've got quite used to working with that level of people that they're just like normal people to me and they're all quite lovely."
Celia's new show 'Your Home in Their Hands' - which sees two desperate homes put in the hands of amateur interior designers - airs on Thursdays at 8pm on BBC One.

Ripper Street returns next month

'Ripper Street' is set to return next month on Amazon Prime after being axed from the BBC earlier this year.
The Victorian crime drama is to air its third series exclusively on Amazon Prime starting this November before being broadcast on BBC One and BBC America in 2015 after fans petitioned for its return.
Characters including Detective Inspector Reid (Matthew Macfadyen), Detective Inspector Drake (Jerome Flynn), Captain Homer Jackson (Adam Rothenberg) and Long Susan (MyAnna Buring) are all set to return.
Matthew said: "[I'm] delighted and excited to be back for a third series of Ripper. Thank you to Amazon, thank you to our fans who wanted more, and thank you to our wonderful writers and producers for giving us the most thoroughly brilliant, gripping and heart-rending opening episodes."
The upcoming third series will be released from 9pm every Friday starting on November 14 and is available to all Amazon Prime Instant Video members, who will also be able to enjoy a special extended "Amazon cut" of all eight episodes which include exclusive scenes which won't be seen on the BBC.
The action kicks off with a double bill and the series - which follows the lives of men and women living in crime-ridden 19th Century Whitechapel in east London - will come to a close with an explosive finale on Boxing Day.
Jerome added of the upcoming drama: "It is brilliant to be coming back ... There are many great stories and twists and turns for all the characters. The Drake we meet in episode one has certainly been on a journey since viewers last saw him."

Chloe Sims reignites Ferne McCann feud

Chloe Sims says her relationship with Ferne McCann is "going nowhere".
The glamorous television personality has admitted that she is no longer on speaking terms with her 'The Only Way Is Essex' co-star, who is currently dating her brother Charlie Sims.
Speaking about her relationship with Ferne on ITV's 'This Morning' earlier today (03.10.91), Chloe vented: "We are nowhere. We are way past nowhere now.
"I'm done. I've got nothing else to say about her. This series I just want to concentrate on happy stuff and Charlie is happy and I want to let them get on with it and not be provoked by Ferne."
Charlie - who had joined his sister on the 'This Morning' sofa - confirmed that his relationship was "definitely on" before adding that he was "sick and tired of playing happy families" and wants to concentrate on the new series instead of focusing on the drama between his girlfriend and sibling.
He said: "Do you know what? I'm just sick and tired of playing happy families all the time, I don't really want to keep going down the same road.
"I always find when you try and fix things together you always force it and it never really works, and we've done it so many times that sometimes you've just got to give things a little bit of time."

Emma Thompson backs Russell Brand ‘Don’t Vote’

Emma Thompson has urged the public to follow Russell Brand's 'don't vote' campaign.
The 'Effie Gray' actress has spoken out in favour of the comedian's controversial campaign - which encouraged people to rethink their political stance by not voting in elections - and has even likened modern society to the totalitarian state featured in George Orwell's novel, '1984'.
In an interview with The Times newspaper, Emma said: "I am encouraged by people like Russell Brand saying, 'Don't vote'. I've now got to the point where I listen to reports about what's happening on the FTSE or the Dow Jones [stock exchange] and I think I'm in an Orwell [novel]."
The 55-year-old actress - who visited the Arctic with the environmental organisation Greenpeace earlier this year - also advised people to do "whatever it takes" to prevent further damage to the environment.
She told the newspaper: "I'm afraid I have just got to the stage where I can't stand it any more, what is being done in this world. I can't stand it, I can't bear the fact that they are going to drill for oil. They're not drilling for f***ing oil in the Arctic! The Arctic belongs to us, all of us, they can't be allowed to do that, so whatever it takes ... non-violent direct action, civil disobedience, you have to do it!"

Keira Knightley doesn’t condemn plastic surgery

Keira Knightley doesn't "condemn" cosmetic surgery.
The 'Atonement' star may think using Botox or fillers is not good for actresses because it restricts their facial movements, but she would never "condemn" anyone for having the wrinkle-smoothing treatments if it made them happier.
Talking to the Daily Mail newspaper, Keira said: "It is a drawback, not being able to move your face. But I don't think I would ever condemn any woman for doing something that made her feel better about herself.
"If she's suddenly feeling like she's the most disgusting thing in the world, and that's what she wants to do and that makes her happier then I think she should be free to do what makes her feel better in her own body, her own skin and own mind."
When the 29-year-old actress was asked if she would ever consider going under the knife, she replied: "Surgery for myself? I hope I don't. I don't plan to. but who knows?"
Keira - who stars in the new film, 'The Imitation Game' opposite Benedict Cumberbatch - explained how she had fought to keep her character Joan Clarke as unglamorous as possible because she didn't want her to be defined by her appearance.
She added: "I just wanted her not to feel like the 'girl' in the movie, and when she comes along, suddenly everyone says, 'Ah pretty!'"

Bethenny Frankel reprimanded over photo

Bethenny Frankel has been warned by a judge to stop wearing her daughter's clothes.
The 43-year-old reality star was criticised by a Manhattan matrimonial judge yesterday (02.10.14) for showing "poor judgement" by posting a photograph online of herself in July wearing four-year-old Bryn's Hello Kitty pyjamas and Justice Ellen Gesmer told her the decision was "ridiculous".
The judge said: "No more pyjamas!"
When Bethenny's lawyer, Allan Mayefsky, insisted the posting was just a joke, the judge replied: "It's not a joke. Her child is not a joke."
The judge - who was presiding over a hearing between Bethenny and ex-husband Jason Hoppy relating to financial information - reminded the 'Real Housewives' star the image will stay on the Internet forever and said even her own concerned friends had called her about the picture.
A trial to divide the TV star's estimated $55 million fortune is expected to take place during the coming months.
The former couple spent 16 months locked in a bitter battle over Bryn, but finally agreed to share parental duties in June.
The pair filed for divorce in December 2012 but have since been arguing over the money made during their two-year marriage after Bethenny set up her company Skinnygirl.
