Prince Carl Philip Of Sweden engaged to Sofia Hellqvist

Sweden's Prince Carl Philip is engaged to Sofia Hellqvist.
The 35-year-old royal - who is the only son of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden - has announced he will wed Sofia, 29, in the summer of 2013.
Prince Carl Philip - who has been dating the model since 2010 - made the announcement at a press conference in the gardens of Drottningholm Palace, a royal residence in the south-east of Sweden on Friday(27.06.14), during which the couple shared their first public kiss.
Prince Carl Philip told the conference: "I have the incredible honour of being engaged to this fantastic girl."
Sofia added: "Carl Philip is the most humble person I have ever met, which is what made me fall for him in the beginning. He has one of the most beautiful hearts, he is very warm."
Prince Carl Philip - who is 3rd in line to the Swedish throne - is believed to have proposed to the pretty brunette on Friday morning and was joined in the royal gardens by his parents Queen Silvia and King Carl .
A statement on the Swedish royal family's official website said: "The Marshal of the Realm is delighted to announce the engagement between Prince Carl Philip and Miss Sofia Hellqvist.
"After His Majesty The King of Sweden had given his consent to the marriage between Prince Carl Philip and Miss Sofia Hellqvist, His Majesty requested the approval by the Swedish Government, in accordance with the procedures set out in the Swedish Constitution."

Cressida Bonas isn’t thinking about Prince Harry split

Cressida Bonas isn't thinking about her split from Britain's Prince Harry.
The 25-year-old socialite - who was spotted having a "fantastic" time at this year's Glastonbury Festival over the weekend - is said to have moved on from her break-up with the royal as she partied with friends.
A source told The Daily Star: "Cressida was having a fantastic time and it looked like the break-up with Harry was the last thing on her mind.
"She was laughing and joking with pals and had clearly worked up an appetite watching the performances."
Fortunately for the pretty blonde, her former boyfriend - who was invited back to the festival for a second year-running by organiser Michael Eavis - was unable to make it to the iconic Worthy Farm in Somerset after his visit to South America was extended to include a three-day trip to Chile.
The source explained: "Prince Harry had the most amazing time at Glastonbury last year.
"He managed to spend most of his time mingling with all the other festival-goers completely unrecognised.
"He was invited back again this year by festival organiser Michael Eavis and he jumped at the chance."
Cressida and Harry, 29, split in April this year after two years together amid speculation the Prince found her "too needy".
However it has since been revealed that the split was "amicable".
A source said at the time: "Unfortunately it is true, they have split up. But this suggestion that the prince supposedly 'dumped' Cressida because she was 'too needy' is so wide of the mark.
"It is a very amicable split and they are still very much the best of friends. They have just decided to go their separate ways."

Prince Harry fixes Chilean family’s TV

Britain's Prince Harry fixed a Chilean family's television so they could watch their national team take on Brazil in the FIFA world cup.
The 29-year-old royal - who arrived in the village of El Vergel in Chile on Saturday(28.06.14) - was visiting a shack lived in by Coca Perez, 50 and her teenage son and daughter when he noticed their television wasn't working properly, reports The Express newspaper.
Mrs Perez said: "He looked at it and he started to fiddle with the cable
"He managed to get it working so we could watch Chile playing Brazil later. Now I can tell everyone that Prince Harry is my TV repair man."
The prince visited the village with the charity 'Techo' just two months after a forest fire devastated the region, destroying residents' homes and leaving fifteen dead.
However, the prince remained optimistic about the village's recovery.
He told Mrs Perez: "The worst seems to be over and now it's just a case of waiting."
Mrs Perez replied: "We just have to wait and be patient. We have no choice."
During his stay in Chile - which followed on from his trip to Brazil last week - the young royal also visited the 'Children of Jesus Foundation' facility in Santiago which cares for children with disabilities.
Harry clearly enjoyed his visit to the centre where he was presented with photographs and even joined in during the children's musical performance, singing and dancing along to Katy Perry's hit 'Firework'.

Michelle Gomez joins Doctor Who cast

Michelle Gomez has joined the cast of 'Doctor Who'.
The 'Bad Education' star, best known for playing deputy head Miss Pickwell in the BBC Three comedy, has been cast as the Gatekeeper of the Nethersphere on the sci-fi show.
Head writer Steven Moffat said: "I've known Michelle for years and I'm thrilled to welcome her to 'Doctor Who'. She's everything we need - brilliant, Scottish, and a tiny bit satanic."
Michelle added: "Well, of course Peter Capaldi is our next Doctor, which makes complete sense. I'm thrilled to join him. Well, you would be, wouldn't you?"
Meanwhile, it has emerged that Peter Capaldi has signed on to play the titular Time Lord for a period of at least two years.
When Peter first took over from Matt Smith, there were rumours he had only agreed to a 13-episode run, but show boss Steven has revealed he is also planning storylines for next year.
He told Doctor Who Magazine: "I usually write one season at a time. But right now I have figured out the cliff-hanger to the penultimate episode of the next series. And it's a whopper. I don't think you'll see this coming."
Filming for the eighth series of the BBC One programme is under way, with Peter making his debut this summer.
Famous faces already confirmed for the new series are Frank Skinner, Foxes, Keeley Hawes, Ben Miller and Hermione Norris.

ITV bosses ‘delighted’ with Susanna Reid

ITV bosses are "delighted" with Susanna Reid, according to her former colleague.
'5 News' presenter Matt Barber - who previously worked with the 43-year-old star on 'BBC Breakfast' - believes Susanna is the key to long-term success for ITV's new breakfast programme 'Good Morning Britain', despite it getting off to a shaky start in the ratings.
He told The Sun newspaper: "There was a survey last year that found Susanna was the most popular breakfast presenter ever. Having worked with her, I can see why. She had an air of calm about her and never got flustered.
"And whatever Susanna is doing, she's engaging. She also has tons of journalistic experience and is great at interviewing people -- famous or otherwise -- so her journalistic prowess is in no doubt.
"There's no doubting ITV will be delighted at having landed her. I think it's a real coup for them and she will be a long-term success there."
Matt was one of the presenters of previous ITV breakfast show 'Daybreak', which was axed in favour of 'Good Morning Britain', and he thinks Susanna needed a change of scenery after years working her way up the ladder on rival programme 'BBC Breakfast'.
He added: "Susanna achieved an awful lot at 'BBC Breakfast', which she presented for many years, so why wouldn't she want a change of scenery?"

Matt Di Angelo had ‘massive argument’ with EastEnders boss

Matt Di Angelo had a "massive argument" with 'EastEnders' boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins over a storyline.
The actor has admitted he clashed with the soap's executive producer due to an undisclosed plot twist involving his character Dean Wicks.
Appearing on Channel 4's 'Sunday Brunch', he explained: "I had a massive argument with my boss when he told me what my character was going to be doing in my storyline. I was just like, 'What? Really?' We had a tiff almost.
"I get on really well him, and then he was like, 'You can do A storylines or B storylines. You can do regular stuff and boring stuff and just go for a pint in The Vic, or you can do what I'm offering you and show people ... make people aware of that situation and go through that. What do you want to do - do you want to get your teeth into it?' "
Matt recently reprised his role as Dean, after taking a six-year absence from Walford, and the actor reveals it wasn't too difficult to slip back into the hairdresser's shoes as he's "not a million miles away from the character".
He explained: "The thing with soap is to shoot so many pages a day, if you were some obscure, completely different character with a crazy accent and mannerisms, to do that 12 hours a day, six days a week, and then get so many pages coming through, I think you'd be shooting yourself in the foot a little bit."

Anton Du Beke would have ‘heart attack’ without Strictly

Anton Du Beke would have a "heart attack" without 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The professional dancer - who has been part of the BBC ballroom dancing competition since the show began in 2004 - can't imagine life without the show and plans to be part of it for as long as possible.
He declared: "I love being part of the show and I'm happy to be part of it in any way I can be. The worst bit is the thought of not being in it at all - I'd have a heart attack. I won't stop doing 'Strictly' ... as long as they keep asking me, I'll still keep being there."
The 47-year-old star admits he would have loved to replace Sir Bruce Forsyth as a presenter, but thinks the new presenting team of Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman - who previously fronted the 'Strictly' results show together - will be do a "great job".
He said: "We are all familiar with them, so it's not as though we've got someone out of the blue.
"I think the great thing about the show is that it always has the great feeling of continuity."
Anton also weighed in Bruce's retirement, saying the iconic TV star will be sorely missing.
He told The Sun newspaper: "We love him and we're going to miss him. I'm disappointed he's retired, but when someone retires it's their decision to do so and it's great.
"I think he said it was quite hard for him to do it. If he's happy with that decision, then I am happy for him."

Kardashians want Manhattan superstore

Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian are on the hunt for a new base in Manhattan.
The sisters - who are currently filming in the Hamptons, where they are opening a Dash store - reportedly looked at a 5,500 square foot five-storey corner property in Soho last week with plans for a huge "full-concept Kardashian lifestyle experience."
A source told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column that the sisters want to turn the first two floors of the building into a flagship Dash store, with the other three storeys being used to house offices for the family businesses.
The whole building is available to rent for $2 million a year from Jack Terzi of JTRE, who bought it for $15 million in May.
The real estate mogul and his broker personally gave the group a tour of the building.
However, the property may not be as private as the sisters could hope and could attract a lot of paparazzi attention thanks to 80-foot-long wraparound windows.
One source said: "Some 300 photographers and fans were crowding the building en masse while they were checking it out.
"They were pulling out their cellphone cameras and crowding them to try and get a shot."
The Kardashians currently have a Dash store at a nearby Soho location, as well as boutiques in Los Angeles and Miami, and the pop-up store in the Hamptons.

Tilda Swinton has to like collaborators

Tilda Swinton only makes movies with people she likes.
The 'Snowpiercer' actress worked on a number of projects with director Derek Jarman - including 'Aria', 'Caravaggio' and 'The Last of England' when she was first beginning her career and the fun she had on set in the early days quickly made her realise work was at its most enjoyable if she got on well with the cast and crew.
She said: "I first started making films with Derek Jarman in England in the 1980's.. we were very close friends and we made 7 films together over the nine years before he died in 1994. I learned very early on that filmmaking is amongst the most fun things that can be done in a group, in the cold and the rain in the middle of the night when the food has run out.. so ever since then, I have chosen the people first above every other element.. life is too short to be working alongside people you don't like A LOT for years on end..(sic)"
The 53-year-old actress also admitted she likes arranging props in a rude manner, and is always amused when directors don't notice, such as when she and Brad Pitt were shooting 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' with David Fincher.
Discussing an interesting filming experience in a Reddit Q and A session, she said: "The time when Fincher failed to notice that BP and I had arranged two potatoes and a carrot in a specific configuration on the kitchen table we were sitting at.. and had to have it pointed out to him at the END of a take..(sic)"

Channing Tatum spread skin disease

Channing Tatum spread a skin disease around his family.
The '22 Jump Street' actor loves being outdoors, but a recent camping trip saw him catch poison oak, with the itchy rash quickly spreading to his wife Jenna Dewan Tatum and their daughter Everly, 12 months.
Speaking in an interview given in April, Jenna said: "We're going to the [MTV] Movie Awards tonight, but I have to rethink my dress.
"After this I'm heading to the dermatologist because my husband decided to go camping and bring back Poison Oak--the perks of living with a man who loves to be outdoors!
"We're a family of poison oak at the moment. We'll be really sexy on the red carpet tonight."
The 33-year-old actress is a doting mother to Everly, but insists it is important for the little girl to fit into her parents' lives, rather than them changing theirs to suit their daughter.
She told DuJour magazine: "Kids are life-transformative, but they should fit into your life.
"You don't want to feel resentful for forgetting about a whole part of yourself. It's tough learning how to balance and multitask; it's a lot of balls to juggle. That's been the biggest learning curve of this year for sure."
