Lynda Bellingham has died aged 66.
The actress passed away in her husband Michael Pattermore's arms in hospital on Sunday (19.10.14) after battling colon cancer, which had spread to her lungs and liver.
In a statement on behalf of her family, her agent, Sue Latimer, said: "Lynda died peacefully in her husband's arms yesterday at a London hospital.
"Her family would like to thank the nurses and staff for their tremendous care and support.
"Actor, writer and presenter - to the end Lynda was a consummate professional."
The former 'Loose Women' panellist was diagnosed with cancer in July last year and recently admitted she had decided to end her treatment on August 13 and hoped to have one last Christmas with her family.
She said: "There were so many things left that I wanted to do - but I hope my sons will use my energy and look after my hubby and love each other.
"I am sad I will not see who they marry, or live with ... I know in my heart they have so much to give to someone who will unlock their dreams."
She leaves behind husband Michael, 59 and her sons, Michael, 31, and Robbie, 26.
Iggy Pop says U2's latest album, 'Songs of Innocence', is a "veiled advert".
The Stooges vocalist says that although the album was made available to Apple's iTunes customers free of charge, it would be inaccurate to describe the contentious new album - which has stoked plenty of controversy in the music industry - as free.
Iggy, 67, explained to The Sunday Times newspaper: "I'm not defending or condemning what they did. And I don't know... to me I wouldn't call it free music. Because somebody probably paid them to do all that."
He continued: "But it's also not free because it's only if you own that [iTunes-featuring] device. So what I would call it is kind of a... veiled advert. A veiled advert would be my impression of it."
Iggy turned his attention to the music industry more broadly, saying that record executives and others tend to benefit more than the artists themselves.
He said: "I don't think that the glorification of the music business is always really truly good for the artist. It's been good for... wouldn't you say it's been good for Simon Cowell?
"Well, how much do you think he's doing for the artists? Do you see what I'm saying?"
S Club 7 are in talks to reunite as early as next month - at the 'Children in Need' telethon.
The 'Reach' hitmakers - made up of Rachel Stevens, Jon Lee, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O'Meara, Tina Barrett, Bradley McIntosh and Paul Cattermole - have entered negotiations about performing together for the first time in 12 years at the televised charity event on November 14.
A source said: "The reunion is definitely on but everyone involved wants a massive launchpad, which is why Children In Need would be perfect.
"It could still all fall through because there are the diaries of seven people to work around, but it's looking positive."
Should the pop group agree a deal to play at the event, they are expected to sing a variety of their greatest hits, but there are fears next month might come too early for the band because some may have prior commitments they are unable to alter.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: "Jon is busy with theatre, Hannah is working on TV projects and Rachel is a judge on 'The Voice' in Ireland.
"But for the rest of them this is a real second chance to ditch the pub gigs and become stars again.
"The idea is for them to perform a greatest hits medley, including 'S Club Party' and 'Reach'.
"If the reaction is good a tour will be announced."
It wouldn't be the first time S Club 7 have appeared on 'Children in Need' after they performed their charity single 'Have You Ever' on the telethon in 2001, one year after they sang their hit 'Never Had a Dream Come True' at the event after it was chosen as the official 'Children in Need' single.
This comes after Paul took to Twitter in August to confirm an S Club 7 reunion is "god damn close".
He wrote: "Big thanks too everyone for your support with the S club Re-union ... Sorry guy's I'm not confirming the S's Re-union . I'm just saying thanks coz there have been thousands of messages over the last year ... But it's God Damn close, I can almost ... Reach ... The sword... (sic)"
Jaime Winstone accepted a role in 'Love, Rosie' because she believes "true love can conquer all".
The actress, whose father is Hollywood star Ray Winstone, appears in the new romantic-comedy alongside Lily Collins, and she says that although she's not typically a fan of the genre, she couldn't pass up the opportunity to appear in the film.
The 29 year old explained to the Mail on Sunday newspaper: "I'm not usually a fan of romantic comedies. But when I read the script for 'Love, Rosie' I fell in love with it straight away.
"It was one of those moments when you instantly think, 'I'm attached to this story'. I've never met author Cecilia [Ahern], but I would love to, because her book really touched my heart. I do believe in the film's message: that there is one person - or soul mate - for everyone and that true love can conquer all. I hope so anyway! I've had plenty of experiences of toying with love, so who knows?"
For this reason, Jaime says she would never turn to online dating as she considers it to be unromantic.
She said: "For me, it goes against the grain of meeting someone in a natural way and having real chemistry. I love how romance is so complicated but also so clear: as is the case with Rosie and Alex in the film."
Jena Malone is set for a "mystery role" in 'Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice'.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, several sources have confirmed the 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay' actress will appear in the superhero movie and while it is not known which role she will play in the motion picture, it has been rumoured she could be a female version of Batman's sidekick Robin.
The speculation comes following a report on Central Michigan NBC affiliate WILX-10 which mentioned Jena's name while describing a scene involving Ben Affleck's Batman battling with Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor.
As a result, the rumour mill has suggested a female Robin could be introduced into the movie as character Carrie Kelley, a schoolgirl in 'The Dark Knight Returns' who is saved by Batman.
Such speculation comes after Affleck revealed 'Batman v. Superman' director Zack Snyder was "heavily influenced" by the 1980s Frank Miller miniseries.
Speaking about the 'Dark Knight Returns' comic books, he explained: "I will say that I think Zack was heavily influenced by that.
"I think everyone's heavily influenced by that ... that's the seminal work. So, I don't think that there's any of these which have been made that haven't drawn from that book because it's so good.
"So, you know, I think if you're smart you steal from the best."
Henry Cavill is to star as Superman in the upcoming movie, while Gal Gadot will play Wonder Woman and Amy Adams will appear as Lois Lane.
The hotly-anticipated film is set for a March 2016 release.
Dermot O'Leary thinks Louis Walsh is the "best judge".
The 'X Factor' presenter says the Irish music manager - the only panelist to have featured on every season of the show - is very honest and unsympathetic towards the contestants.
He told OK! magazine: "You always have a great time with Louis - he doesn't give a s**t.
"In many ways, Louis is the best judge in Judges' Houses because he's the least sympathetic.
"Cheryl [Fernandez-Versini] will say no to someone and say she's sorry so they walk away feeling pretty good about it whereas Louis just goes, 'No'."
The 41-year-old host also admitted he is a bit nervous about new judge Mel B saying something she shouldn't be on live television.
He said: "I'm looking forward to Mel. She's great but she's a handful.
"I'm not sure I can handle her! You're having a conversation with her and you go, 'That was quite rude.' Then you'll say something a bit frisky and she'll come up with by far the rudest thing you've ever heard in your life.
"And I'm like, 'No, I can't match her.' It's pre-watershed which might rein her in a bit."
Caroline Flack "tortures" herself on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The former 'Xtra Factor' host has impressed the judges on the celebrity dance contest and panellist Craig Revel Horwood admits she works really hard to be perfect.
He said: "The most paranoid about always doing a good job is Caroline Flack. She really cares, she really wants to do well and she tortures herself with it, because she's aiming for perfection."
However, Craig also admitted Caroline and fellow contestant Thom Evans get "jealous" of the routines other competitors are given.
He said: "I think some people get jealous of the dances other people are doing.
"Caroline definitely always wants a dance someone else has and Thom does too."
'EastEnders' actor Jake Wood is another competitor who has impressed the judges but despite his polished performances, Craig has revealed he is often crippled with nerves ahead of the show.
He told heat magazine: "Jake needs quiet moments and has to go to the dressing room. He does get nervous."
Stanley Tucci and Felicity Blunt are expecting their first child together.
The 53-year-old actor has confirmed his wife - who he met through her actress sister Emily Blunt when the pair were filming 'The Devil Wears Prada' in 2006 - is pregnant and he admitted he is "very excited" about becoming a father for the fourth time.
He told Us Weekly: "I'm very excited to be a dad. It's incredible. I'm most excited to have a baby with Felicity and for the baby to be healthy."
The 'Hunger Games' star insists his literary agent wife will be a "great" mother, and he has no preference to whether she gives birth to a girl or a boy.
He added: "The sex is of no concern to me. The sex of the baby, that is."
Stanley has three children, Isabel, Nicolo and Camilla, from his previous marriage to late wife Kate, who died from breast cancer in 2009.
He has since gone on to marry Felicity, with the couple revealing in an interview in August 2012 that they had secretly tied the knot.
The actor - who played Caesar Flickerman 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' - recently admitted he loves appearing in films which he can show his children.
He said: "As a parent, it's a great thing to know that there's a movie you have participated in that you can take your kids to. That isn't always the case. So that's really nice. And I think this genre is disappearing. So it's nice to have participated in it and to just have it around."
Katie Price had a "really awkward" night out partying with husband Kieran Hayler in the same venue as two of her exes.
The 36-year-old star and the cheating personal trainer danced in front of her former fling Dane Bowers' DJ set at an after-party at the Brooklyn Bowl in London's The O2, while another of her ex-lovers Gareth Gates was also at the bash on Saturday night (18.10.14).
A source told The Sun newspaper: "It was really awkward. Everybody knew Katie had history with both guys.
"She seemed quite drunk and made a real point of being right at the front for Dane's DJ set.
"Kieran was following her like a puppy."
However, Gareth, 30 - who confirmed earlier this year he and Katie dated for "three or four months" when he was 17 - is said to have left the party when he saw Katie and Kieran.
The source added: "As soon as Gareth saw she was around, he legged it."
The couple were partying following a 'Big Reunion' boy band gig - made up of reunited groups who have starred on the popular TV show, including Dane and Gareth's new outfit 5th Story.
Earlier this year, Katie revealed she was going to divorce Kieran after discovering he had cheated on her with two of her friends.
But she has since changed her mind after the former stripper agreed to undergo therapy for sex addiction, and the couple - who have two children together, two-month-old Bunny and 13-month-old Jett - are going to renew their wedding vows this year.
Katie also has 12-year-old son Harvey from her previous relationship with former footballer Dwight Yorke and two children, Junior, nine, and Princess Tiaamii, seven, from her marriage to singer Peter Andre.
Ice Cube admits people assume he's an "a*****e" even before they've met him.
The rapper-turned-actor concedes that the public has a well-established perception of him as something of a hardman, but he insists their opinion does not chime with the reality.
The 45-year-old star - who married his wife Kimberly in 1992 - explained to the Observer newspaper: "People think I'm a lot harder than I am. They meet me expecting an a*****e, then get to know me and are surprised that I'm not so bad.
"Not providing for my family scares me. I've been married to my wife for more than 20 years and we've raised four children together. I'm only one man, and I want them set up for when I'm no longer here."
The rapper, whose new film 'The Book of Life' is released on October 24, says that people also assume he has negligible respect for women based on the lyrical content of his music. However, he insists that's far from the case.
The former N.W.A. member remarked: "I've always respected women. People don't see that because of some of my lyrics, but nobody's safe on my records. Everybody gets it: women, men, black, white - if you're doing stupid s***, I'm going to call you out on it."
The best person David Beckham has ever met is Britain's Queen Elizabeth.
The former England captain was raised in a patriotic family and he says nothing in his life can compare to meeting Her Majesty at Buckingham Palace in London.
Beckham, 39, explained to The Sunday Times newspaper: "[Queen Elizabeth] is the most amazing woman. I'm a real traditionalist. I'm a real royalist. The fact that I've been to Buckingham Palace and I've been able to meet the Queen, that's the best thing I've ever done. She's amazing.
"My grandparents brought me up to be a real royalist. They would make us sit down on Christmas Day and watch the Queen's speech and they would take us to the changing of the guard."
Beckham - whose wife Victoria, 40, recently opened her first clothing store in London - says that now he has retired from football, he is looking forward to a new chapter in his life.
He explained: "I wouldn't say I have a bucketlist... I'm relatively young. You definitely start to embrace things a lot more."
Among the things he is keen to sample is snowboarding, which he was forbidden from doing during his playing days.
Malin Akerman's son can speak three languages.
The 36-year-old actress, who was born in Sweden, admits 17-month-old Sebastian, with whom she has with her Italian estranged husband Roberto Zincone, is able to say phrases in Italian, Swedish and English.
She told PEOPLE.com: "I feel like every day is a milestone, but he's running and walking up and down steps on his own now talking three languages, so it's amazing. Whenever he sees his dad he starts speaking Italian, he sees me and starts speaking Swedish, and his nanny speaks English. So, it's really just amazing to watch how a child's brain works."
The 'Couples Retreat' star has even been teaching the little one how to be eco-friendly.
She explained: "I have solar panels, I have a hybrid car. We turn off light switches, which is very exciting for Sebastian because he loves turning off and on lights, so he helps me turn off the light switches when we leave a room. He's just tall enough to reach that."
Meanwhile, Malin admits she loves every bit of motherhood and was surprised by how much love she felt for the toddler as soon as she locked eyes on him.
She said: "I guess the most surprising, although everyone tells you, is the love that you feel for your child. You need nothing else in the world but your child. That's it. He's the air that I breathe."
