Dermot O’Leary thinks Louis Walsh is the "best judge".
The ‘X Factor’ presenter says the Irish music manager – the only panelist to have featured on every season of the show – is very honest and unsympathetic towards the contestants.
He told OK! magazine: "You always have a great time with Louis – he doesn’t give a s**t.
"In many ways, Louis is the best judge in Judges’ Houses because he’s the least sympathetic.
"Cheryl [Fernandez-Versini] will say no to someone and say she’s sorry so they walk away feeling pretty good about it whereas Louis just goes, ‘No’."
The 41-year-old host also admitted he is a bit nervous about new judge Mel B saying something she shouldn’t be on live television.
He said: "I’m looking forward to Mel. She’s great but she’s a handful.
"I’m not sure I can handle her! You’re having a conversation with her and you go, ‘That was quite rude.’ Then you’ll say something a bit frisky and she’ll come up with by far the rudest thing you’ve ever heard in your life.
"And I’m like, ‘No, I can’t match her.’ It’s pre-watershed which might rein her in a bit."
