Keira Knightley was annoyed Chloe Grace Moretz didn't want her advice.
The 29-year-old actress - who appears alongside the 17-year-old star in her latest movie 'Say When' - was disappointed that the young actress didn't turn to her for words of wisdom on the set of the motion picture.
Discussing the film's young stars on an episode of 'The Jonathan Ross Show', which airs tomorrow (01.11.14), she said: "That was what was so annoying, I didn't feel like they were looking up to me at all, I thought, 'You should be asking me advice' and they were just all like, 'You're not on Twitter? [That's] sad'..."
The brunette beauty admitted it was she who in fact turned to the young star for advice and compared the pair's off-screen relationship to their character's friendship in the romantic comedy - in which Keira's character, Megan, seeks the help of her 16-year-old pal, Annika, who is played by Chloe.
She explained: "The thing about Chloe is she absolutely does know everything so I think that our off-camera relationship was quite similar to our on-screen relationship.
"I'd go to her for boyfriend advice, she'd probably have really good boyfriend advice but no she didn't ask me many questions!"
Daniel Radcliffe loses everything.
The 'Horns' star admits he constantly has to replace his mobile phone and often puts things away and can't ever find them again.
The 25-year-old actor said: "I lose things a lot. At one point I think I lost probably three phones within one year. But I recently lost my iPod, and I thought it was gone forever. After about three months I found it in my bag in a pocket I didn't even know I had."
The British heartthrob is also a lover of music and is currently learning to play the guitar.
He explained: "I just started learning guitar, and I'm actually not too bad! Right now I'm using my friend's electric guitar, but I'm going to get one of my own."
Despite his many talents, Daniel - who is dating actress Erin Darke, who he met on the set of drama movie 'Kill Your Darlings' - admits he hasn't quite mastered the art of cooking gourmet food just yet.
He told PEOPLE magazine: "I can cook some pasta dishes for myself, but not anything I would ever cook for anybody else. I would never be able to throw a dinner party on my cooking skills."
The BBC should not reveal whether Britain's Queen Elizabeth buys a TV licence, a tribunal has ruled.
A lengthy legal battle between the corporation and journalist Gordon McIntosh has come to a close after almost two years after an appeal, the Information Commissioner and, finally yesterday (30.10.14), a tribunal all found the station were right to refuse the Freedom of Information request.
The journalist initially wrote to the BBC in December 2012 to ask if the annual £145.50 license fee was paid for televisions at all of the royal palaces, including Buckingham Palace, and to ask if they "scrutinise and check in the same way as for residential or commercial premises".
But the BBC rejected the request because the details were exempt as they are "personal data".
This triggered a complaint from Mr. McIntosh, who asked the BBC to review the decision, but this was rejected and referred to the Information Commissioner.
The Information Commissioner upheld the BBC's decision saying there was "a risk individuals could be identified from a full post code", given there are so few residents in the specified addresses.
They also added it was hard to see "how disclosure would meet any specific public interest".
Mr. McIntosh argued the decision and accused the organisation of "negligently overlooking" a matter of public interest, insisting "reliable sources" had told him many staff and non-royal residents at the palaces did not pay for licenses and the public should know if they were not being prosecuted.
At the tribunal today, Judge Anisa Dhanji - who sat on the panel with Michael Jones and Nigel Watson - ruled there was "no evidence" to substantiate the claims, which the BBC denied.
She also dismissed suggestions from the journalist that the that the Information Commissioner had a "vested interest in protecting the royal household".
Amanda Holden has confirmed the return of all four 'Britain's Got Talent' judges.
The blonde beauty revealed that she, David Walliams, Simon Cowell and Alesha Dixon will all be returning for the 2015 series.
Speaking at the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home's Collars & Coats Gala Ball at London's Battersea Evolution, Amanda told BANG Showbiz: "We've all been told we're doing it, yep. So we're just waiting for contracts."
The judge sounded excited as she explained the contracts would be coming through, "Hopefully next week, I would think."
"Everyone's coming back, I don't think we're making any changes because the shows working. The ratings will prove that. I think, if it ain't broke, don't change it."
However, Amanda confessed that while she loves the show, she can't see herself doing it in her old age.
She said: "I couldn't do another ten years on the show, I'd be in a zimmer frame! I think it's got at least another two or three years though."
On being asked about posting a picture of herself with her derriere exposed on Twitter, she added: "It was because I was interviewing Lady Gaga and the previous week she had worn a dress with her bum out, so I thought it was funny."
Craig Revel Horwood thinks Scott Mills' days on 'Strictly Come Dancing' are numbered.
The outspoken judge of the BBC One celebrity dance contest has revealed he doesn't think BBC Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills has any hope of staying in the competition for much longer.
Speaking at Battersea Cats & Dogs Home's Collars & Coats Gala Ball at London's Battersea Evolution, Craig told BANG Showbiz: "I think Scott's time on the show is limited, as much as his dancing is."
However, Craig did admit that he's glad Scott agreed to appear on the show after his colleague Greg James turned it down, as he's been the source of plenty of laughs.
He explained: "He's provided an enormous amount of lobster-ish entertainment. He's showing at least little signs of improvement."
Craig also offered his advice to former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star Mark Wright, who broke down in tears last week after being saved by the public.
He said: "Pull yourself together. Man up. It's only a dancing show and not World War Three'.
"Don't get upset when you get criticised by the judges. We're there to help and we're there to criticise. It's our job."
Meanwhile, Scott has confessed he is enthusiastic about his routine for this weekend's show.
Taking to his Twitter account this morning (31.10.14), he wrote: "Halloween rehearsals lets do it @bbcstrictly (sic)."
Omid Djalili would never appear on 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' because he couldn't eat "kangaroo testicles".
The stand-up comedian is starring in 'Hot and Dangerous' - a new TV series that looks at the hottest curries in the UK - and despite stomaching some gut-churning dishes for the programme, the 49-year-old star insists he would never appear on the ITV reality show hosted by Ant & Dec.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Although my tolerance levels improved, I'll never do a show like 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' I will never be found eating kangaroo testicles."
Omid grew up hating all spicy foods, but admits his tolerance levels improved while filming his new show.
The comedian - who's currently touring the UK with his 'Iranalamadingdong' stand-up show - explained: "I loved a balti dish I had in a curry house in Birmingham. Of course, the balti was made by British-Pakistanis and I found that to be a tremendous culinary experience.
"The worst thing I ate was a dish called 'The Widower' in Grantham, which made me ill. It has to be cooked using a gas mask! When the show was first discussed, I thought I'd be travelling all over the world to samples foods. I never thought I'd end up in Grantham burning myself a new butthole."
However, Omid - whose new autobiography, 'Hopeful', is out now - added: "Spicy foods are high in vitamin C, which means they're good for helping to cure things like colds. It really does help you to feel healthier - it's like a natural, legal high."
'Omid Djalili, Hot and Dangerous', premieres tonight (31.10.14) at 9pm on Freeview channel Quest.
Arnold Schwarzenegger "always knew" he'd star in another 'Terminator' movie.
The 67-year-old actor - the former governor of California - insists he wasn't surprised when he got a call from producers to appear in the upcoming blockbuster 'Terminator: Genisys', despite missing out on the 2009 movie 'Terminator Salvation'.
He told Entertainment Weekly: "I knew eventually that another 'Terminator' was going to get made. People always have to go through that painful experience of doing a sequel, or something like that, without me."
Arnold believes the film will be a huge success.
He said: "When I look at history, anytime a movie was well-done, it was huge. If a movie is made well, if it's a great character, if it's well acted out, then people are going to come and see it. It's so simple."
His co-star Matt Smith, 31, is also confident that the action movie, which will be released in July 2015, will be a hit with old and new fans of the franchise.
The former 'Doctor Who' star said: "It's like going on tour again if you're Pink Floyd - the audience always wants to hear some of the old songs. There are enough nods to the past that people will feel satisfied."
But Emilia Clarke, who plays Sarah Connor in the film, admits she was embarrassed during some scenes.
She said: "The thing I didn't know about action movies is that when someone is running on screen, they are really running. No one looks brilliant running on camera. That's an embarrassing day when you look at yourself and think, 'Oh, yeah, I look like an idiot. I should fix that.'"
Anne Hathaway would "love" to appear in a sequel to 'The Devil Wears Prada'.
The Oscar-winning actress starred in the popular 2006 comedy-drama, which also featured Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt, and has revealed she would be keen to rekindle the story.
Asked whether she would like to appear in a sequel, the 31-year-old star told 'The Graham Norton Show': "Wouldn't that be fun? I'd love to do that but I don't know if there is any plan for it."
Hathaway - who is currently promoting her new movie 'Interstellar' - revealed she is particularly keen to work with Streep, describing her as "the most amazing, magical, warm person".
She added: "She's fun and super maternal. When I met her she gave me a huge hug and I'm like, 'Oh my god, we are going to have the best time on this movie', and then she's like, 'Ah sweetie, that's the last time I'm nice to you'.
"She then went into her trailer and came out the ice queen and that was really the last I saw of 'Meryl' for months, until we promoted the film."
Ashlee Simpson has asked Diana Ross to help her reignite her music career.
The 'Pieces of Me' singer, who recently married the legendary singer's son Evan Ross, has reportedly begged her to introduce her to new producers.
A source told OK! magazine: "Ashlee's constantly hitting up Diana for industry contacts. Diana has no problem helping her son out, and she really does like Ashlee, but she knows a spoiled princess when she sees one."
The insider added: "[Ashlee] is really pushing her luck with Diana."
The 30-year-old beauty married Evan, 26, in a lavish ceremony at Diana's house in Connecticut last month.
The 70-year-old star, who is ordained, was heavily involved in the ceremony and even officiated the couple's wedding and then went on to perform her ballad 'Endless Love' at the service afterwards.
The former Supremes singer previously dismissed rumours of tension between her and Ashlee.
Shortly after their wedding, she said: "I want only love, happiness, and joy for my son and his bride."
Rita Ora has deleted a message urging fans to retweet her in return for her new single, after it was reposted just 2,000 times.
The 'I Will Never Let You Down' singer was left red-faced after asking her 3.94 million followers to retweet her 100,000 times in return for her latest track, as only a fraction of that figure reposted the message.
Taking to her Twitter account at 7.45am on Friday (31.10.14), she wrote: "Dropping my new song monday if this get 100,000 retweets (sic)"
However, after only a small number of people reposted the message, the 23-year-old star deleted the tweet, before retweeting a sympathetic message from a fan which was then also deleted.
The 'Fifty Shades of Grey' actress - who is currently dating the 24-year-old son of designer Tommy Hilfiger, Ricky Hilfiger - has no time to dwell on the poor reception of her announcement, however, as she is currently filming for her first series as a coach on 'The Voice UK'.
The awkward situation comes just a day after the blonde beauty slammed people on the social networking site for criticising the appearance of others.
On Thursday (30.10.14), she tweeted: "We all need to stop judging people just by the way they look. It actually disgusts me. This world is focusing on the wrong things."
Jake Gyllenhaal always wears his "sl***iest outfit" every Halloween.
The 33-year-old actor has revealed his dad, director Stephen Gyllenhaal, is "obsessed" with Halloween and throughout his childhood Jake and his sister Maggie Gyllenhaal were forced to wear an elaborate outfit for the occasion.
Jake recalled some of his worst Halloween costumes during an interview with chat show host Conan O'Brien on his talk show 'Conan', explaining: "[I was] an Ocean Spray cranberry juice box ... a cardboard box the size of my body with a straw that was made out of cardboard, and I wore a white spandex suit, and my hands came out of it, and you put the candy in the straw. It was a whole thing!
"It was like a month-long promenade toward Halloween - we designed it, there were drawings, every day after I finished my homework I had to do it with him.
"I was an Oreo cookie once, that was like that soft sort of foam and he cut it out - it looked like a 3D Oreo cookie and I wore, again, white spandex."
But Jake insists the most outlandish costume his father created was when the actor had to wear a battery pack because he was a lit up house.
Jake added: "The ultimate one he did one year was I was a house. It was a house with different scenes in each window, and there were lights that lit it up, and I wore a f***ing battery backpack.
"It's not even done ... and it fit on top of my head, I could only see out of the one window. The chimney was where you put the candy in. I could not hear a thing, I couldn't walk in it, and my Dad was so proud of himself."
UK viewers can watch Jake Gyllenhaal's interview on 'Conan' at 11pm on Monday (03.11.14), on truTV (freeview channel 68) - the home of larger than life characters in real situations.
Katie Holmes would tell her younger self to "relax".
The 35-year-old actress, who has eight-year-old daughter Suri with ex-husband Tom Cruise, claims she never believed she could carve out a career in Hollywood while growing up in Toledo, Ohio.
She said: "Growing up in Ohio, I thought being an actor was something that could just never, ever happen. If I could go back, I'd tell that girl to just relax! It's only a plane ride away."
And Katie admits she's trying to have the same laid back attitude when it comes to be a working single mother.
She told PEOPLE magazine: "You do the best you can. Some days you feel really good about yourself and some days you don't. Motherhood has taught me to just let go of some things, to relinquish control."
The former 'Dawson's Creek' star also insists she no longer cares what people think about her.
She said: "I really just don't care. A lot of good things have happened to me, so I focus on that, and the other things that get focused on by the press or whoever - I'm just not interested."
But Katie is eager to fall in love again, despite having a failed marriage under her belt.
She added: "I'm a very loving person. Of course I'm open to finding love again.
"What I've come to understand is that your dreams will happen, but they might not happen when you want them to. There are some things you just have to wait for."
