Jimmy Kimmel cried at daughter’s birth

Jimmy Kimmel cried at the birth of his baby daughter.
The chat show host, 46, admits he was reduced to tears when he and his wife Molly McNearney welcomed their first child Jane into the world earlier this month.
Speaking on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' last night (21.07.14), he quipped: "My wife is doing fine, I'm fine too. I was so brave. I cried a little but I didn't scream. You guys would've been very, very proud of me."
Jimmy revealed he and Molly decided to name the tiny tot after his grandmother, before showing the audience some adorable snaps of his new bundle of joy.
He said: "Her head is tiny. Her head is like the size of a plum. She weighed 6lbs 1oz at birth, 20 inches long - just above the legal limit."
However, the funnyman - who already has children Katie and Kevin with his ex-wife Gina - admits he's struggling to adapt to life with a new baby around.
He explained: "I have a 22-year-old daughter and a 20-year-old son already, but it's interesting how much you forget."
Jimmy - who married Molly last July - announced the birth of Jane on his Twitter account on July 10.
He tweeted at the time: "Congratulations to my beautiful and very tough wife @mollymcnearney on delivering our baby girl this morning (sic)."

Zoe Saldana: My husband’s tattoo was ‘romantic’

Zoe Saldana thought her husband's tattoo of her face was "the most romantic thing".
The actress' beau Marco Perego - whom she married last year - had her facial features etched onto his arm and, although she tried to persuade him not to get the inking, she believes it symbolises their ever-lasting love.
Speaking to PEOPLE.com, she said: "It was the most romantic thing! I didn't stop him, but I did sort of try to talk him out of it. I've done crazier things than that, and I'm pretty sure he has, too."
Zoe, 36, began dating Marco in early 2013, shortly after her split from Bradley Cooper, and she believes they were meant to find each other and fall in love.
She explained: "We found each other, and it was that desire and not that necessity that put us together."
However, the brunette beauty - who dated Keith Britton for 11 years until their split in 2011 - insists she had changed as a person just before she met Marco and had learnt to love herself for who she is.
She said: "I'm where I wanted to be when I would look at myself and say, 'I just have a feeling that it's going to get better, that I'm going to find who I truly am more and more, and I'm going to stick to that road.
"I'm very happy that it happened before I met him, because I didn't want somebody to give me the answers that I should find for myself."

Lady Gaga is ‘curvy and proud’

Lady Gaga is "curvy and proud".
The 28-year-old singer - who is known for her bizarre outfits - insists she feels comfortable with her own body and gets satisfaction from flaunting it in front of people.
The blonde beauty posted a black and white photograph of her wearing nothing but a fur coat and matching heels on Instagram today (22.07.14), which she accompanied with the caption, "Curvy and proud."
However, the 'Born This Way' hitmaker hasn't always felt confident about her figure as she previously revealed she used to battle with an eating disorder.
She said at the time: "I have struggled with an eating disorder for over 10 years and I take that very seriously, I take the struggle of others very seriously."
Although, Gaga claimed earlier this year that she had overcome her troubles with food and is surrounding herself with positive people.
She said in February: "I am better with food. I don't have an eating disorder anymore. I'm also better at not letting people take advantage of me. Five years ago, when I spotted someone with a hidden agenda, I allowed them to stay around me... I speak up now. I realised that it's my own fault that people take advantage. I should be around people who cherish my talents, my health, my time ... I'm an artist. I deserve better than to be loyal to people who only believe in me because I make money."

Adam Levine and wife performed at wedding

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo both performed at their wedding reception.
The Maroon 5 singer was joined by his bandmates and Fleetwood Mac star Stevie Nicks to serenade guests at Flora Farms in Los Cabos, Mexico, on July 19, and the Victoria's Secret model later took to the stage, dedicating her rendition of Bright Eyes' track 'First Day of My Life' to her new husband.
One guest said: "Everyone cheered for her."
And the musical performances didn't stop with the newlyweds, as ska punk band Sublime also treated guests to some tracks.
Another guest told People magazine: "This was a dancing crowd. Everyone was dancing late into the night."
In between the music, there were also several speeches which had "guests laughing".
Those at the reception sat at large circular tables around big mango trees - which were decorated with floral garlands and tiny white lights which looked like fireflies - and severed a feast of organic pork chops, fresh fish and beet salads.
Later, an organic ice cream cart served desserts, which included alcohol-flavoured paletas, Mexican ice lollies.
One onlooker observed: "Most people finished eating in under an hour and were ready to party...
"Everyone was having so much fun. Adam and Behati didn't stop smiling the entire night."

Jada Pinkett Smith wants to help women

Jada Pinkett Smith wants to help rape victims after her niece was recently drugged.
The 'Gotham' actress feels grateful that nothing serious happened to her young relative because she was with a "responsible" group of friends, but wants to speak out about the "treatment of women".
Speaking at the Television Critics Association (TCA) panel for her new show, she said: "My niece was given a date rape drug that weekend. She's 20 years old - thank God nothing happened because she was with some responsible guys that took care of her.
"She was safe because she was with a group of friends that realised - she said, 'Oh, my god, I can't feel my ..., " and she started losing consciousness...
"There is an epidemic going on out here in regards to the treatment of women. We have to figure out how we can empower people in different ways."
And the 42-year-old actress is doing her best to educate her 13-year-old daughter Willow and asked her niece to discuss her recent terrifying experience with her.
She explained: "I had my niece sit down with my daughter and a couple of her friends and tell her about that experience.
"It's one thing to sit with me as her mother: It's like 'OK, Mom, yeah, I get that.' But when you have your 20-year-old cousin that comes in, and she's like, 'This is what happened,' and it was somebody you looked up to as well, it's like, 'Oh, man, this is really real.' "
And Jada - who also has 16-year-old son Jaden with husband Will Smith - is confident her daughter takes her advice on board.
She said: "I give her the opportunity to be empowered by having herself first, because when you allow a person to be an individual and you allow a person to have power within and have confidence with who they are, she'll never have to look in the eyes of a man and question whether it's a 'yes' or a 'no' - she's going to be very clear."

Beyonce and Jay Z treat ‘On The Run’ crew to skating session

Beyonce and Jay Z treated their 'On The Run' crew to a skating session.
The singer and her rapper husband are currently touring Canada and the United States as part of their 'On The Run' stadium tour and were feeling generous so treated everyone working behind-the-scenes to a roller-blading session at Fun Plex Entertainment, in Houston, Texas on Sunday (20.07.14).
A source said: "They had a lot of fun! They ate, they danced, they skated."
According to E! News, the rink holds sentimental value to the 'Drunk In Love' songstress, who used to visit as a child.
A source shared: "Beyonce spent her childhood here at the rink."
Beyonce - who has daughter Blue Ivy, two, with her spouse - posted plenty of photos on Instagram, including two snaps of her sitting on the floor, indicating that she might have had trouble staying upright whilst on her skates.
With reference to Mary J Blige's song, 'Family Affair', Beyonce captioned one black and white image: "Don't need no hateration holleratin' in this skater Fun plex (sic)"

Emma Stone worries people will leave her money

Emma Stone is worried people will "f**k with her" by leaving money around.
The 'Magic in the Moonlight' actress recently spoke of her belief her late grandfather leaves her quarters, and is now concerned other people will find it funny to secretly put coins around her so that she thinks it is a sign from her dead relative.
Discussing her revelation, which she made to talk show host David Letterman, she said: "I wasn't even going to talk about that [on Letterman], but then he was telling me a true story about a woman on his show that died who taps him on the shoulder and talks to him a bit.
"I completely regret telling that story about my dead grandfather that leaves quarters because now I feel people are just going to leave quarters around to f**k with me.
"It was this sweet family thing where my mom found them, my aunt found them, and now it's going to be like, 'Oh look, there's a quarter!' Ugh."
The 25-year-old beauty - who is in a relationship with Andrew Garfield - thinks it is possible to believe in other-worldly experiences while also retaining an element of doubt.
She told The Daily Beast: "I've been to a medium and a psychic... I am a total skeptic, and a believer. Both things co-exist."

Britain’s Prince George’s worldly gifts

Britain's Prince George has received gifts from 48 different countries since he was born.
The young royal - who is the son of the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge - is celebrating his first birthday with a party at his parent's Kensington Palace apartment today (22.07.14) and it's been revealed he's received presents from nearly 50 nations in his first year of life.
Included in the mountain of gifts he's been presented with over the past year are a baby crocodile from Australia's Northern Territory, named George, that was hatched on the day his conception was announced.
However, due to the lack of a natural saltwater river on the grounds of the palace, the creature has instead remained in Australia and updates are sent to the toddler via the croc's very own Facebook page, People magazine reports.
A number of other adopted animals have also been gifted to the Prince - whose full name is George Alexander Louis - including a goat and a fatted bull from tribal elders in Kenya and three meerkats named George, Alexander and Louis from the Dudley and West Midlands Zoological Society.
In addition to the animal theme, George has also been presented with a collection of sporty rewards including a bike with a plaque inscribed with a crown and the initial "G", a miniature Sealegs amphibious boat that drives on land and rides on water and a customized surfboard with his name printed on it.

EastEnders’ Aunt Babe is ‘ruthless’

EastEnders' Aunt Babe is "ruthless".
The Carter family will discover their wayward aunt's illegal side job next week when some of her hash cakes end up in the hands of young Tiffany Butcher and with the police on her trail, actress Annette Badlands says her character will do anything to keep her business running.
Aunt Babe decides to hide her cannabis in Dean Wicks' salon but when his mum Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) finds out she becomes enraged with Babe. However, Babe retaliates by threatening to reveal Shirley's secret, that she's Mick Carter's mother, to the rest of the family.
Annette told Digital Spy: "[Babe] has the front of being jolly, as she does have a sense of humour and she's bouncy and bubbly, but here I tried to be very angry.
"Babe can't let that out, she has to rein that anger in and use it in some other way. She won't expose herself by being furious, so she suppresses it and torments Shirley with what she may do next."
Quizzed if Babe would go through with revealing Shirley's secret, the actress said: "Sadly yes, I think she is that ruthless. She loves Shirley, but she also needs to protect herself."
Annette also teased a major Carter storyline will take centre stage at Christmas.
She added of her character: "Everyone has a dark side somewhere and there are still things that you don't know about her."

The Simpsons to kill off Krusty the Clown?

'The Simpsons' could kill off beloved character Krusty the Clown.
Showrunner Al Jean has dropped some strong hints that Springfield's resident comic will be the unlucky character to meet their maker in the new series of the animated sitcom.
The Hollywood Reporter quotes Jean as saying: "[The episode] is called 'A Clown in the Dumps'." The news apparently prompted gasps from those in attendance at a Television Critics Association event on Sunday (20.07.14).
Al also reasserted his previous claims that the character is played by an actor who's received an Emmy Award for their work on the show.
He added that the identity of the character is "obvious".
Al said: "It turned out bigger than we thought it was going to be. It's not going to be this blood bath where they all get murdered."
Krusty is voiced by Dan Castellaneta, who also voices Homer Simpson, and has earned numerous accolades - including four Emmy Awards - for his voice work on the show.
The actor also voices Grampa Simpson, Barney Gumble, Groundskeeper Willie and Mayor Quimby.

Naomi Watts for Demolition?

Naomi Watts in talks to star in 'Demolition'.
'The Impossible' actress is in negotiations to appear alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in the upcoming drama, which is to be directed by 'Dallas Buyers Club' filmmaker Jean-Marc Vallee, TheWrap reports.
The movie will be based on the 2007 Black List script by Bryan Sipe and will follow a young investment banker (Gyllenhaal) who struggles to understand his emotional disconnect following the tragic death of his wife in an auto accident.
If Watts seals the deal she will play a pot-smoking customer service representative who, despite having a boyfriend, falls for Gyllenhaal's character as she learns of his pain and loss.
Speaking previously, Vallee described the project as: "A powerful and touching story, written with a strong and sincere desire to try to understand the human psyche, what makes us so unique, so special, what makes us love."
He added: "This is a script of a rare quality, of a beautiful humanity."
Watts is currently shooting the 'Divergent' sequel 'Insurgent' alongside Shailene Woodley and is slated to reprise her role as Evelyn, leader of the Factionless, in the upcoming 'Allegiant: Part 1' and Allegiant: Part 2'.
The 45-year-old actress is also attached to play Matthew McConaughey's character's wife in Gus Van Sant's drama 'Sea of Trees'.
