Kim and Kanye name new home after Downton Abbey property

Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian West have named their new home after the property from 'Downton Abbey'.
The loved-up couple - who wed in Florence, Italy in May, and have one-year-old daughter North West together - have named their new Los Angeles home Highclere Castle, which is where the programme is filmed, because they want their home to mimic the property's opulence.
An LA insider told The Sun newspaper: "Kanye loves calling Kim 'lady'. He basically thinks he's an even cooler version of Lord Grantham."
Kim, 34, and her 37-year-old beau have been constructing their new 1,050 sq ft home for several months and will finish off the property by erecting a sign proudly declaring the house's name.
The source continued: "He wants the home to resemble Downton in its grandeur and 'regalness' and there will be a sign naming it Highclere Castle."
The pair have previously gushed about the Julian Fellowes-produced show, with Kim declaring in September that she is desperate to have a cameo.
She told The Sun newspaper: "I'm a big fan. I'd love to be on it if they asked. I love things like that."

Danny DeVito doesn’t like One Direction, despite being in their video

Danny DeVito doesn't like One Direction, despite appearing in their video for 'Steal My Girl'.
The pint-sized 'Matilda' actor featured in a clip for their new single which was unveiled last week, but explained that he only did so because his relatives said he should and because he wanted the boys to take a photo with his foot which he dubs "Troll Foot".
He told The Sun newspaper: "I have many, many young kids in my family who would just beat me up if I didn't do [the video].
"I saw it as an opportunity to take a picture of them with Troll Foot. That's what I did!"
When asked if he was a fan of the 'Midnight Memories' crooners, he retorted: "No, no, I'm a Bob Dylan fan."
However, despite being uninterested in the chart-topping band's music, the 69-year-old actor explained that he was excited to be involved with them because of their cult status.
He added: "I was flattered and I was really happy to go do it. It was a ball.
"It was reminiscent of the days when you saw The Beatles go somewhere and there were always packs of people following them."

Nicki Minaj slammed for arriving six hours late for photoshoot

Nicki Minaj has been dubbed "incredibly rude" after turning up six hours late for a photoshoot.
The 31-year-old rapper arrived at 2am to shoot photos for a future issue of Billboard magazine in New York, and has since been blasted by staff for her rude behaviour.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Nicki turned up six hours late - everyone had been waiting all night for her."
Unfortunately for the people working on the shoot, the New Yorker - who will release her second full-length studio album 'The Pinkprint' in December - was on poor form after her late arrival, and was feeling too sleepy to pose for the camera.
The insider continued: "Even then she wasn't apologetic. She just kept falling asleep. It was incredibly rude and everyone was getting really angry with her."
This isn't the first time that the 'Superbass' hitmaker has been branded a diva, as actor and television personality David McIntosh also slammed the musician for her attitude when filming her recent 'Anaconda' video with her.
The 28 year old said: "Did I like her? No. She's a bit of a diva to be honest."

Al Pacino considered name change

Al Pacino considered changing his name to "Sonny Scott" when he started acting.
The 74-year-old star was advised to alter his moniker when he began working in the movie industry because any stars with an "ethnic name" had to change them.
He said: "In the old days, in America, when you had an ethnic name, you changed it.
"Whether it was Jewish, Italian, Spanish, whatever, Asian - you changed your name.
"Tony Curtis, that was Bernie Schwartz. Bernie Schwartz came from my neighbourhood. Because American Italians didn't work.
"I was acting when I was very young, and so they said, 'Well you're going into acting, you've got to change your name.' So I thought, 'Sonny Scott'.
"It was unthinkable to have a name that ended in a vowel.
"Who knows why, I don't know, perhaps World War Two or something, or perhaps the migration to the States was young - we were getting there in the 1900s and we were the ones to be avoided."
But the Hollywood legend was able to keep his own moniker thanks to method acting coach Lee Strasberg, who Al says was one of few who could say his name properly.
He added in an interview with Loaded magazine: "I think getting to the Actors' Studio at age 25 and having Lee Strasberg read my name. And he said, 'And here we have Al Pacino,' and for the first time someone read the 'ch' and I said, 'I like this guy!'
"My teachers in school - it was always, 'Al Pakani', 'Pakouni', 'Pakano'. And I would say, 'No - Pacino.' And I'd say, 'Ch, Cino - Pacino'.
"Probably the only thing I really knew in school was my name."

Boy George: Cull flop pop stars

Boy George says there should be a periodic "cull" of pop stars.
The Culture Club singer believed there are "too many" people making music so artists who are not doing so well should be told to find new careers in order to clear the way for new talent.
George explained: "There are probably too many people making records. I feel like they should have like a cull every so often to let you throw out clothes like 'it's just not working. Go and do something else."
While he thinks there are too many pop stars, the 53-year-old singer has praised 'The X Factor' as a "brilliant" show - even if he does find the talent search show "funny".
He added to BANG Showbiz: "I mean it's just brilliant, even the American version is really good, I just think it's the funniest thing. I don't really like those sort of reality shows much but who ever came up with that is so clever."
The 'Karma Chameleon' hitmaker has previously hinted he was asked to be a judge on the show.
When asked if he'd like to be a judge on the series, the 53-year-old singer replied: "How do you know that I already haven't been asked?"
He added: "No I'm not telling you. I mean at the moment I'm a bit too busy for that but we'll see, if it's still going. Maybe I'll do it on another type of TV show but I do find 'The X Factor' entertaining."

Jessie J: Fame is hard

Jessie J says people can't understand how hard it it to be famous.
The 'Bang Bang' hitmaker likes to offer support and advice to other artists because it isn't "easy" being in the public eye.
She said: "We've all been there. And I know how hard it is. Until you're famous and you go through what we go through, you can't understand. No-one understands.
"I think that it's important for people that are in a similar situation to help each other out, when it's tough, so that's how I am as a person.
"And all my friends understand that about me and sometimes I put my hands out. And if people want it, then great.
"It's really important that we support each other because its not easy."
The 26-year-old singer admits she feels frustrated when people tell her not to listen to her critics because it isn't a "human reaction" to just ignore "bullying" remarks.
She added to BANG Showbiz: "I always try and explain to my team that when someone writes something evil about you or something untrue, everyone says, 'Just ignore it, they're haters' but if someone comes up to you in the street and shouted in your face something mean or brought up your girlfriend or boyfriend and told them a lie, you're not going to be like 'Oh they're a hater, it's OK'.
"That's not a human reaction. And I don't believe that it's haters, I think its bullying."

Nicole Scherzinger feels lost

Nicole Scherzinger is feeling "lost".
The 36-year-old star worried fans recently when it was reported she'd tried to jump out of a moving limo and it's now been claimed her strange behaviour is a result of being too busy to sort out her personal commitments to Lewis Hamilton.
A source said: "Nicole's really feeling the pressure - she's determined to make her new album and is spending countless hours promoting it.
"At the same time, she has to travel back and forth to see Lewis in Monaco and she's been pushing for a wedding so they can start a family together. She's confided in friends that she felt ill and trapped in the car - she says she had to get out of the limo and didn't care if it was still moving.
"She's so busy with work, she says she doesn't have time to sort everything out. She feels so lost right now."
The former Pussycat Dolls singer - who splits her time between London, Los Angeles and Monaco - is said to be feeling particularly "emotional" because her boyfriend won't set a date for their wedding.
The source told Closer magazine: "Nicole's feeling really emotional because Lewis makes her many promises but they still haven't got anywhere with setting a date [for their wedding].

JWoww: Marriage ‘doesn’t mean anything’

JWoww says marriage doesn't "mean anything" to her.
The former 'Jersey Shore' star, who has three-month-old daughter Meilani with her fiancé Roger Matthews, got engaged two years ago, but still doesn't feel in any rush to walk down the aisle.
The 28-year-old star - whose real name is Jenni Farley - said: "We are obsessed with being parents and being together, so papers and rings don't really mean anything."
While she is that bothered about marriage, the brunette beauty is looking forward to watching her best friend Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi tie the knot to her boyfriend Jionni LaValle soon, but thinks the process is overwhelming.
She added to Star magazine: "I could see us getting married in the next couple of years, but while Nicole is doing a big, lavish wedding, I would probably go to Vegas or an island with Roger, invite 50 people and hope 10 show up."
Jenni admitted Roger is "crazy obsessed" with their daughter and doesn't want to miss out on anything she does.
She said: "I never expected the change I saw in him once Meilani came. He's a doting father and crazy obsessed - he doesn't want to miss a second."

Judy Murray’s son won’t watch her on Strictly Come Dancing

Judy Murray's son doesn't want to watch her on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The tennis coach - who is partnered with Anton du Beke on the BBC One celebrity dance contest - is mother to former Wimbledon champion Andy Murray, who claims he has no interest in going along to the live show, as his older brother Jamie did last week.
Andy - who has been competing in tournaments across the world for the past few months - is set to return to his home in Surrey next week but insists he won't be going to watch his mother dance at the studio in London.
He told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "I'm quite looking forward to getting back and being in my own bed and my home for quite a few days, rather than watching some very average dancing."
However, the 27-year-old star confessed he is glad Judy - who has been described as having "rigour mortis" by the Strictly judges - is enjoying herself.
He added: "I've only seen two of the dances but she is having a good time, that's the most important thing.
"From what she's said to me it's been the best fun she's had in such a long time, learning something new.
"Her partner's been just loads of fun. But for her it's tough on the body. She's doing six hours of dancing three days a week to get ready and then do the show.
"Being in heels and stuff - she doesn't normally wear them, she's normally in trainers. So for her it's quite tough physically which I don't think she was really expecting."
Judy is set to transform into Cruella de Vil on tonight's (01.11.14) Halloween themed show.

Garth Brooks feels like ‘arm candy’

Garth Brooks feels like Trisha Yearwood's "arm candy."
The country singer, who has been married to the 'Woman Before Me' hitmaker for 19 years, claims she is much more popular with their fans.
The 52-year-old star, who is currently on tour with his wife, told PEOPLE.com: "My wife is the cool one. Wherever we go she knows everybody and everybody knows her. At home in Oklahoma, I'm Mr. Yearwood. When we travel, I'm just her arm candy."
The 'If Tomorrow Never Comes' hitmaker, who has three daughters, Taylor, 22, August, 20, and Allie, 18, with Trisha, is gearing up to release his first studio album in 14 years, 'Man Against Machine,' next month and didn't write many of the tracks because he was too busy being a parent.
He said: "When I was off, I was really off, being a parent 24/7. I wasn't writing. I didn't trust my pen yet on this album, I'm not there yet. So I went with the songs that I wish I could have written, that say what I want to say. This album is who I am right now."

Kourtney Kardashian is so proud of Kendall Jenner

Kourtney Kardashian says Kendall Jenner is her "favourite family member."
The 35-year-old reality TV star, who is set to give birth to her third child with Scott Disick in December, is extremely proud of her 18-year-old half-sister for carving out a successful career as a model.
In a joint interview with her sister Khloé Kardashian, the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star told E! News: "She is my favourite family member, besides Khloé. I love her."
She added: "She was at my house all day yesterday, we were laying out by the pool."
Asked about Kendal's success, Khloé added: "I don't know... it's bizarre."
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old beauty has been looking out for their younger brother, Rob Kardashian, 27, who has been struggling with depression recently.
She said: "He's good. He's living at my house. I love living with him."
But she admitted they don't always get along.
She said: "We got into a little fight yesterday. I was like, 'We gotta work out this week, what are we doing.' I don't know, I guess I was pushing him a little to hard maybe."
