The 33-year-old actor has confessed he regularly weeps when he is on a flight particularly if he is watching an emotional movie, and blames his fragile state up in the air on there being a lack of oxygen.
He said: "I get emotional on planes. Doesn't everyone get emotional on planes? There's not that much air? Like not a lot of oxygen, you need oxygen to breathe.
"I feel like there's been a study that has been done about it.
"You watch the movies and like movies I would never cry at on land, I weep at in the air."
The 'Nightcrawler' actor revealed his latest teary trip was when he was watching live-action movie 'Bears', in which John C. Reilly narrates the story of a family of grizzly bears who journey through Alaska in the winter, and the Hollywood star found it "really moving".
Speaking to Conan O'Brien on his chat show 'Conan', Jake added: "This time it was that movie 'Bears', I was watching that movie bears.
"It was really moving, it's really moving. Look you guys seriously, it's really moving.
"OK, it's a movie about ... it's a live action movie about bears. It's about Sasha, I think her name is, and her two bear cubs and their journey through Alaska from winter into spring

Hayden Panettiere gains 40lbs

Hayden Panettiere has gained 40lbs during her pregnancy.
The 25-year-old actress - who is eight months pregnant with her and fiancé Wladimir Klitschko's first child, a girl - is worried her feet are going to "snap" with the "strain" of carrying so much excess weight.
She said: "I'm 5 feet, 2 inches, and I started out at 106 pounds and guess how much I weigh now? Around 145 pounds
"And the worst part is that my feet are still size five and they're going, 'What's going on with all this weight?' They're about to snap from underneath me with the strain."
The former gymnast believes her weight gain is in part due to her athletic past.
She explained to Britain's HELLO! magazine: "I'm still quite muscular, so if you're running around carrying 40 pounds of extra weight, you're going to build extra muscle."
And though she and boxer Wladimir are engaged, the 'Nashville' actress insists she won't be getting married until she has shed her baby weight.
She said: "I'll tell you one thing for sure, I am not walking down the aisle 40 pounds heavier than usual in a wedding dress with a huge pregnancy belly stitched in. Not happening."

Reese Witherspoon wants to make mark with company

Reese Witherspoon hopes to make her "mark in the world" with her production company.
The 38-year-old actress admits she spends a lot of time thinking about "giving back" and hopes the work she does through her Pacific Standard company will offer a glimpse into her tastes and opinions.
She said: "I'm in that phase of my life where I really think about giving back and . . . the mark I want to make in the world. Producing things on my own . . . people are starting to see a little bit more of what moves me as a human being."
And the 'Wild' actress admitted she was inspired to start her company after reading Tina Fey's 2011 autobiography 'Bossypants'.
She told FOX News Sunday's Chris Wallace: "One of the biggest inspirations for me was reading Tina's book. She said, 'If I can help one other woman create something in Hollywood, I've done my job.' And I hope to have that same goal: Create opportunities for other women to tell their stories."
Reese - who has children Ava, 15, and Deacon, 11, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, and son Tennessee, two, with spouse Jim Toth - admitted she has grown increasingly choosy with her career as she gets older.
She said: "It's a new time for me in my career. I'm much more in charge of my life. A lot of the time that I was making films in my 20s, I was sort of looking at the material that was coming to me. And now I'm in a situation where I'm a little bit older and a little more discerning
"I get excited when I go to work. . . when I think about characters that are really going to change the way people think about marriage or what women are capable of being."

Queen release new song for AIDS campaign

Queen have released a new song featuring Freddie Mercury to raise money in the fight against AIDS.
The Coca-Cola Company have teamed up with (RED) for a new campaign, 'Share the Sound of An AIDS Free Generation', which will see a host of artists debut new music and offer exclusive experiences and the month-long initiative kicks off today (03.11.14) with the group's song 'Let Me in Your Heart Again', which features vocals from their late singer - who died from an AIDS-related illness in 1991 - and has been remixed by William Orbit.
Queen guitarist Brian May said: "It's been 23 years since the world lost our beloved Freddie Mercury,. We've made extraordinary progress in the fight against AIDS in that time. But we cannot simply rest on the fact that the treatment is available. We must ensure that it is provided. Roger and I are proud to lend this rediscovered song to the (Coca-Cola) RED campaign, in the hope that Freddie's powerful voice can inspire the world yet again."
Other exclusive tracks being made available include Aloe Blacc's 'Together' on November 10, while the following week will see a collaboration between Wyclef Jean and Avicii, 'Divine Sorrow' ready for download. An exclusive remix of 'I Lived' by OneRepublic will conclude the musical offerings during the week of November 24.
Meanwhile, fans donating to the campaign at omaze.com/CokeRed can be in with the chance of winning a number of once-in-a-lifetime experiences, including getting flown to a U2 gig to meet Bono backstage and be given a customised (RED) Gretsch guitar signed by the singer, spending the day with OneRepublic, winning tickets to three of the biggest music festivals in the world and joining Avicii on-stage in Las Vegas, or sitting on stage at Queen and Adam Lambert's gig in London, as well as receiving a VIP tour of Queen's recording studio in Montreux, Switzerland.
Money raised from the campaign will go directly to The Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria to finance grants which provide HIV prevention, testing, counseling, treatment, and care services.
Emmanuel Seuge, Vice President, Global Alliances & Ventures, The Coca-Cola Company, said: "One of the primary goals behind the movement of this campaign is to use the power of music to rally the millennial generation in realising that an AIDS free world is within reach.
"We are grateful to all of the artists who are joining us in this remarkable effort."

Speaking about the incredible achievement, Steve Bernstein, Director of Amazon EU Digital Music, said: "Pink Floyd now have the most pre-ordered album on Amazon.co.uk, which is an outstanding achievement for the band and also it proves that they remain one of the most popular groups to grace the UK music scene. After waiting 20 years, our customers have relished being able to listen to new work by Pink Floyd."
Other artists to make the top 10 pre-order chart include Susan Boyle, Take That and the late Amy Winehouse.

David Walliams ‘is unloved’ by Pudsey the adventure dog

David Walliams admits he's unloved by the character he voices in 'Pudsey: The Movie'.
The 43-year-old entertainer - who is best known for his comedy partnership with Matt Lucas in the popular sketch show 'Little Britain' - first met Pudsey in 2012, when the adventure dog won 'Britain's Got Talent' and Walliams was subsequently asked to voice the main part in the comedy film.
Asked what attracted him to the unusual role, Walliams explained: "I really love Pudsey [but] Pudsey doesn't seem to love me back... in fact, he never seems to recognise me or remember me!
"I know Pudsey is a very special dog, because over the years I have worked on things where they've brought in animals to do scenes and things - rarely does the animal actually ever do what you'd like it to do.
"But Pudsey is so many brilliant things, he could do so much personality I just thought I'd love to be involved in it."
Walliams - who stars alongside Jessica Hynes, 42, and John Sessions, 61 - continued: "I got Pudsey to be involved with an adaptation of one of my chidren's books 'Mrs. Stink', which was about 18 months ago.
"He was absolutely brilliant in that - stole the show - so I thought it would be lovely to be associated with this."
'Pudsey: The Movie' is available on DVD from November 10, courtesy of eOne.

Ryan Reynolds linked to return to Deadpool role

Ryan Reynolds could reprise the role of Deadpool.
The 38-year-old actor played the part in 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' in 2009 and Rob Liefeld - the creator of 'Deadpool' - has suggested he could return to the role.
ComicBook.com reports Liefeld talking about the issue at Comikaze 2014, where he said: "Ryan is Deadpool. Look, Ryan Reynolds, he's gone through that same career arc, the guy is ridiculously talented.
"He has a huge, huge passion for Deadpool. Deadpool's not happening, [but] because he was a giant star, they said, 'Ryan, what do you want to do?' And he said, 'Deadpool'.
"That's why it happened. They would have no faith otherwise. That movie is because of his passion. He put together the team."
The 47-year-old comic book creator added that although the character of Cable might not make an appearance in the 'Deadpool' movie, he may get a film of his own in the future.
He reflected: "Cable is awesome. And he will... when he appears on screen, we're all going to nerdgasm, because he's coming. They can't hold him back. He's coming."
'Deadpool', which is being directed by Tim Miller, is set to open in cinemas in February 2016.

Steve Backshall prefers dogs to women

Steve Backshall would rather have a loyal pet dog to a girlfriend.
The 'Strictly Come Dancing' contestant has joked that he would prefer to have some loveable mutts instead of a girlfriend, but admitted that there are two actresses who he might choose over a canine friend.
When asked whether he is more of a cat or dog lover, the 'Deadly 60' star exclaimed: "Dog all the way. I'd rather have a couple of hounds than a girlfriend."
However, the 41-year-old singleton hinted that he does have his eye on two famous women in particular, revealing that 'The Devil Wears Prada' actress Emily Blunt and 'Gone Girl' star Rosamund Pike would be his "dream dinner dates."
When he was later questioned about whether he has any recurring dreams, the pair were once again mentioned, as he quipped: "Mostly Emily Blunt or Rosamund Pike!"
The naturalist and wildlife expert - who received 26 points for his Charleston with Ola Jordan last weekend - also revealed that he once had an unlikely snog with a furry friend.
Far from the stunning stars he dreams about, when asked about his most memorable kiss, he told You magazine: "I had a baby chimp go in for a pash once, does that count?"

Jack Walton blames theme night for exit

Jack Walton believes the Fright Night theme was the reason he was eliminated from 'The X Factor'.
The 18-year-old pop hopeful was kicked off the show after receiving the least amount of votes from the public following his cover of Leona Lewis' single 'Bleeding Love' on Saturday night (01.11.14).
Jack - who was mentored by Mel B - claims he was given mixed messages about what to do with his performance which affected him on the night.
During an interview on 'This Morning', he said: "I did feel confident but I was mixed because obviously it's a themed night so everyone wants you to be out (there) having fun and not taking it as serious but then again they were asking for an emotional performance. So it was a bit of a weird mix from having a girl come over and bite my neck to giving a serious performance. It was hard to get in the right vibe."
Jack also wishes he had ignored some of the advice he was given by the judging panel and stuck to his own ideas about what sort of artist he is.
He explained: "The thing about it is when you come to a show like this you're surrounded by so many successful people and people that know what they're talking about, or that's what you think as soon as you meet them. You think, 'I best listen to whatever you say and that's the best thing.' But I don't think that's the case really, I think you've got to be really true to yourself."
Jack wasn't shocked when he was told by host Dermot O'Leary he was leaving the competition because he had a feeling on Saturday that his time was up.
He said: "Do you know what's really weird on the Saturday night before I went on - and I don't believe in weird feelings or anything like that - but I looked at it and thought it's my time to go, how weird is that? When it happened, I told them before, I had a weird feeling."
On Sunday night (02.11.14) Lola Saunders left 'The X Factor' after the judges couldn't reach a majority decision on whether to eliminate her or Stereo Kicks and it was revealed she had fewer votes than the boy band when it went to Deadlock.

X Factor ditches disco theme

'The X Factor' judges have decided to ditch the disco theme for this weekend's show.
The usually popular theme had been confirmed on 'The Xtra Factor' on Sunday night (02.11.14) but after an emergency meeting between producers and the judges - Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Mel B and Louis Walsh - it was dropped in favour for Queen versus Michael Jackson.
Producer Mark Sidaway revealed the swap on his Twitter account, writing: "Just leaving a song meeting with all the judges. Okay, hold into your hats, we may have a theme change #xfactor.
"Disco just died. We've a new theme coming... (sic)"
The new theme was revealed on the official 'X Factor' Twitter account in a series of tweets which read: "@SimonCowell, @CherylOfficial,@OfficialMelB, Louis and the producers have agreed a new theme based on two iconic acts #xfactor #newtheme.
"The #newtheme is... Queen versus Michael Jackson. Tune in 8pm Saturday night @itv #xfactor. (sic)"
The remaining pop hopefuls will have to perform a song made famous by Freddie Mercury or the King of Pop on Saturday (08.11.14) and on the results show on Sunday (09.11.14) One Direction and Sam Smith will take to the stage before the latest act is cut from the competition.

Kelly Brook confirms David McIntosh split

Kelly Brook has confirmed she has split from David McIntosh.
The 34-year-old beauty reconciled with the former 'Gladiators' star two weeks ago following a three-week split, but the brunette model has revealed she is "very happy" being single at the moment and is just focusing on her career rather than men.
Speaking in Hollywood, she told The Sun newspaper: "I'm very happy. I am a single, happy girl living in a great town and working with fantastic people.
"I am living out here - it's fantastic. I have a great job, I've got great friends. I just surround myself with positive, nice people and that's all you can do. It's just part of life.
"Maybe it's not my time to find love at the moment. I just get to focus on myself. There are more important things in the world."
Kelly and David, 28, headed to Mexico on a break together last month after appearing to reconcile, and just last week the hunk - who was alleged to have cheated on her - insisted his relationship with the "love of his life" was his main priority.
He said: "I'm not laughing or joking about what happened.
"I was a serious person in a serious relationship - and it hurt. But now I'm doing everything for myself."
The couple got engaged in March after a whirlwind romance but Kelly called it off in September amid claims he was too close to his former flame Sarah Harper.
However, David has insisted he never cheated on Kelly and just last month he announced plans to wed the model in Mykonos, Greece.
He said: "I would like to think that there is a future for us.
"As far as I'm concerned I've done nothing wrong. Hopefully things can be normal. I was engaged and would like to get married."
