Marvin Humes is "very, very romantic".
The former JLS singer is a devoted husband to Saturdays star Rochelle Humes – with who he has 18-month-old daughter Alaia-Mai – and the pair think it is very important to have a regular date night.
Richelle said: "He’s very, very romantic. I can’t complain about that.
"We always make sure we do date night. No matter how busy we are, we always make time to go for a drink and have dinner at least once every two weeks.
"We always have the rule of no phones at the table. Leave your phone upstairs! Or, if we’re out, as soon as he arrives at the restaurant, I’m like, ‘Come on, hand it over.’ And he has to put his phone in my bag.
"Unless it’s someone calling about the baby, we’re not allowed to answer. Why bother paying for a nice meal when you spend it checking your phone?"
Rochelle admitted she is very much in charge in their relationship and "soppy" Marvin is usually willing to do the things she wants to do.
She added to heat magazine: "He’s more soppy than he likes to let on. He’d quite happily come shopping with me all day and not moan. And he’d quite happily watch a chick flick.
"He’s quite patient with me. I think he’d probably like people to think that he wears the trousers a lot – but he really doesn’t."
