Russell Kane mistaken for Grimshaw daily

Russell Kane gets mistaken for Nick Grimshaw "at least once a day".
The 34-year-old comedian has admitted people regularly think he is the TV and radio presenter and start talking to him about 'Sweat the Small Stuff' - which the Radio 1 DJ hosts alongside Rochelle Humes and Melvin Odoom - but doesn't mind too much because he thinks he's got the better deal.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "A young lad once came up to me going, 'Oh my god, I can't believe you're here, I really love that show you do with Melvin and that girl from the Saturdays.' So he was sort of halfway between giving me a 'Grimmying'. I get it at least once a day.
"I think for Grimmy it's not as much of a beneficial experience. He's obviously super cool and goes to fashion shows and has pop star friends and I'm just a k******d. So for me to get muddled up with him works in my favour really!"
Russell thinks Nick is probably not quite as laid-back as him about the pair being likened to each other because he is often seen at far swankier events.
He added: "It's got to be happening to him as well, if he's in a place where it's a comedy event he must be getting it in the other direction. He never tweets about it or anything so maybe he doesn't like it."
Russell will be hosting the This Is Comedy gala on the December 1 at Vaudeville Theatre. @thisiscomedy14 Tickets: http://www.nimaxtheatres.com/vaudeville-theatre/

Jeremy Sheffield laughed during Nikki Sanderson’s labour scenes

Jeremy Sheffield kept trying to make Nikki Sanderson laugh when they filmed her labour scenes.
The 'Hollyoaks' actress - who plays Maxine Minniver - admits it was "frightening" trying to convincingly depict giving birth on screen but her co-star, who portrays demon headmaster Patrick Blake, did his best to lighten the mood.
She said: "It was frightening. It was amazing and fun to do, especially with Jeremy - though he thought it was funny to laugh in my face all the way through."
And Nikki - whose alter ego goes into labour in the midst of the train crash that rocks Hollyoaks village next week - admits she was relieved to have been praised for her work by one of the show's advisers.
Speaking at a screening of the 'Hollyoaks: End of the Line' train crash episodes in London this morning (07.11.14), she said: "Having never given birth myself, it's one of those things where you hope people will look and go, 'It's kind of like that' ... I was just glad there was no blood and guts but could just do it with my facial expressions.
"The midwife on set actually said she thought I'd had kids."
The 30-year-old actress loves playing Maxine because her storylines have been so diverse during her two years on the show.
She said: "I love the diversity of Maxine, she came in as quite a comedic character then we've had the domestic violence story ... She goes through so many emotions, it's like playing 10 different characters in one woman."
'Hollyoaks' airs weeknights on Channel 4 at 6.30pm, with first look episodes on E4 weeknights at 7pm.

Ben Haenow’s XXX Factor sessions

Ben Haenow meets his girlfriend for lovemaking sessions after 'The X Factor' live show.
The 29-year-old performer goes without sex from Monday to Friday, but escapes the bubble of the programme at the weekend, when he rents a hotel on Saturday evenings so he and his girlfriend Jessica can get intimate.
Ben - who's in Simon Cowell's Over 25s category - explained: "I get to spend the night with her in a hotel. We go to The Hilton - where there are cheaper rooms than the Holiday Inn."
The singer also admitted to missing his family, telling the Metro newspaper: "I only get a limited time to pop back and see them.
"My mum works six days a week and I only see her for about 45 minutes and there is always a camera crew there when I do it. So we don't get to actually talk. But I'll get through it."
Fellow contestant Jay James Picton, 31, has revealed he's got an embarrassing tattoo, which he got while drunk on holiday.
Jay explained: "I got a tattoo on my a**e which says 'your name', which I got when I was p***ed in Magaluf."
The singer - who's married to glamour model Victoria and has a 13-month-old daughter, Nova - added: "Me and my mate thought it would be good for chatting up girls. It worked a couple of times. But most of the time it didn't."

Wretch 32 tried to emulate Gary Barlow on new single

Wretch 32 tried to emulate Gary Barlow with his new single '6 Words'.
The rapper has revealed he attempted to develop an anthemic sound for his new track - taken from his upcoming third album 'Growing Over Life' - like that of the British bands Take That and Coldplay.
In an exclusive chat with BANG Showbiz, he said: "The inspiration behind it is listening to Coldplay records, listening to Gary Barlow records like 'Greatest Day', stuff like that, and just trying to put my spin on it.
"I wanted to put out my version of those big songs, one of those feel good records.
"You know like when you listen to 'Greatest Day' by Take That, when that chorus comes in, it just feels like you want to open your arms and sing, so it's just about making songs that connect with people on the biggest scale."
The 29-year-old musician - who rose to fame with his hit 'Traktor' in 2011 - will release '6 Words' on Sunday (09.11.14), and thinks that the 43-year-old Take That frontman will feel threatened when he eventually hears the song.
He added: "When Gary Barlow hears that song, he's going to know, 'That guy's a problem.'
"I might not be on his radar to write with. Chris Martin knows about me from my rap stuff, but when they hear that they'll be like, 'Ah this kid, he's done something!'"
Mentioning the personal message behind the song's lyrics, the father-of-two added: "It's about everything that I couldn't buy, that makes me feel special, so my children, my music, my career. Things like that."

Sir Ian McKellen and Sylvester Stallone cast in Animal Crackers

Sir Ian McKellen and Sylvester Stallone have been cast in 'Animal Crackers'.
Blue Dream Studios has confirmed the animated film will also feature the voices of Danny DeVito, Patrick Warburton, Gilbert Gottfried, Raven-Symoné and Harvey Fierstein.
Animator Scott Christian Sava said: "When I was writing Animal Crackers I had specific voices in my head.
"Certain characters I wrote with actors in mind.
"Horatio was always Sir Ian McKellen. Brock was totally Patrick Warburton. Bullet-Man could be no one else but Stallone. To find out that each and every one of these actors have agreed to come on board this film and bring these characters to life ... I'm flipping out."
The film follows a family that inherits a run-down circus and a box of old Animal Crackers, which they discover can be transformed into different animals.
'Animal Crackers' is set to be completed by the summer of 2016.
Meanwhile, Sir Ian admitted recently that luck has played a major part in his recent career success.
The actor - who was knighted in 1991 for services to the performing arts - said a number of his contemporaries would have fared as well in the iconic role of Gandalf in 'The Lord of the Rings', including John Hurt.
Speaking at TimesTalks London, Sir Ian - who was sat beside his 'Vicious' co-star Sir Derek Jacobi - reflected: "We're no better than a whole lot of people. But genuinely, being quite honest about it all, it's luck. John Hurt could've played Gandalf."

Cheryl says Nadine’s solo ambition led to Girls Aloud split

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has claimed Nadine Coyle is "full of s**t" for for suggesting she didn't want Girls Aloud to split up.
The 'X Factor' judge was surprised when she saw her former bandmate take to Twitter to say "you should know by now I had no part in any of this split business. I couldn't stop them. I had the best time and want to keep going" in the wake of the band's break-up following their greatest hits tour in 2013.
Instead, Cheryl claims Nadine was responsible for the chain of events that led to the group's demise when she wanted to take time off to make a solo album in 2009.
Addressing Nadine's comments in the new issue of Attitude magazine, Cheryl said: "She's full of s**t. What do you want us to say? She's full of s**t. She was the one who wanted to make a solo record. Which is why we took the hiatus.
"She wants to come out and say we broke the band up? No! She shouldn't tell porkie pies. She should remember why we took the hiatus after seven years..."
Cheryl, 31, claims Nadine, 29, actually refused to record another Girls Aloud album until she got the opportunity to make a solo album, and effectively held her and the other band members - Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh - to "ransom".
Cheryl said: "OK, so do you want us to tell the truth? She wasn't going to make another Girls Aloud record until she got a solo deal. I feel she held us to ransom and then made her solo record deal.
"It's the truth. She's saying that we broke the band up. So there you go."
Cheryl has enjoyed a successful solo career away from Girls Aloud releasing four albums - '3 Words', 'Messy Little Raindrops', 'A Million Lights' and 'Only Human' - while Nadine's one solo LP 'Insatiable' bombed.
