X Factor security upped after Lee Nelson stunt

Security on 'The X Factor' has been increased after comedian Lee Nelson stormed the stage on Saturday night (08.11.14).
The comic character - real name Simon Brodkin - was able to interrupt Stereo Kicks' performance during the live show after getting into the studio with a fake pass before being grabbed by guards.
For the results show on Sunday evening (09.11.14) audience members faced lengthy queues and checks, and procedures were so strict England and Manchester United defender Luke Shaw was denied entry to the show. Next week all guests will have to provide photo ID.
Revealing how Nelson got in, a source told The Sun newspaper: "He kept a pass from last time he was a guest and flashed it to get past security. Things like this can't be allowed to happen."
Nelson has since revealed his motivation for disrupting the eight-piece boy band's performance of Michael Jackson track 'You Are Not Alone'.
He said: "When I saw Stereo Kicks on telly there were so many of them I thought anyone could have a go. And when I heard one of them might not be able to make it as he had homework I decided to give it a bash ... 'X Factor' security waved me straight through. Stereo Kicks were great and all had smiles on their faces."

Ozzy describes Global Icon win as ‘incredible’

Ozzy Osbourne hailed his MTV EMA Global Icon win as "incredible."
The 65-year-old Black Sabbath frontman was honoured at the ceremony in Glasgow last night (09.11.14) for his contribution to music throughout his 40-year career.
Speaking on the red carpet, the rocker said: "I can't believe it, it's just incredible."
Presenting the award on stage, Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash honoured the star and joked about the notorious incident in 1982 when the rocker bit the head off a bat during a show in Iowa.
He said: "For four decades the Prince of Darkness has rocked anyone who dared to listen.
"This is a guy who does not know how to do ordinary. He scares the hell out of most people and all bats. But to me is a gentle man and a gentleman."
When given the award, the 'Paranoid' singer joked: "I don't know where they got this icon s**t from but it's good to be here tonight. God bless you all, thank you for coming."
His wife Sharon Osbourne - who announced on Friday (07.11.14) that the family will shoot eight new episodes of their reality television show 'The Osbournes' next year - also praised her husband of 32 years.
The 62-year-old TV host gushed: "I'm so proud. It's his night. I just want him to have the best time."
The ceremony - presented by 'Anaconda' rapper Nicki Minaj - was held in Glasgow, with One Direction picking up three gongs for Biggest Fans, Best Live and Best Pop act, with other wins for Ariana Grade, Katy Perry and Justin Bieber.

Dannii Minogue looking for soulmate

Dannii Minogue is looking for her "soulmate".
The 43-year-old singer - who has four-year-old son Ethan with ex-boyfriend Kris Smith - wants a partner who is "inspiring", while her sister Kylie Minogue is also finding it frustrating waiting for the right man to come along.
Dannii said: "I want to date someone inspiring. Someone who transcends just being a person you can do things with. I'd like someone who would make me feel like I'm their soulmate."
Kylie added: "And I know they're coming. But I just don't know when. That's the hard part."
Though the sisters are very close, they admit they are more likely to turn to their brother Brendan for help than one another.
Dannii said: "Brendan is the rock between the two of us. I think we're both a bit flighty, but Brendan is just the steady one and I think we'll probably go to Brendan more than we go to each other."
And Kylie and Dannii think their nephews will be the most likely family members to follow in their famous footsteps.
In a joint interview for Australia's Harper's Bazaar magazine, Dannii said: "We have great family get-togethers on the farm. Brendan's two boys sing all the time and they love it.
"It's more likely they'll be the next generation of performers in the family, not Ethan. The minute I try to capture something on my phone he yells, 'Mummy, put that phone down, put that camera away'.
"He does not like it if anyone turns their attention to him."
Harper's Bazaar is on sale in Australia now. Visit the magazine on Twitter@Bazaaraustralia for more information.

Khloe Kardashian celebrates with French Montana

Khloe Kardashian "celebrated life" with French Montana last night (09.11.14).
The 30-year-old reality star further fuelled speculation she has reunited with the rapper after attending his 30th Birthday Party Powered by CIROC Pineapple in Los Angeles, a few hours after gushing about her "baby boy" and the "timeless memories" they have created.
Posting a picture of herself and French on a beach in partial silhouette, she wrote on Instagram: "Happy birthday baby boy! In only a short amount of time we have created timeless memories,
"Happy birthday to a man who genuinely lives life to its fullest. 'What's understood doesn't need to be explained' @frenchmontana I can't wait to celebrate life with you tonight! You deserve it!! (sic)".
And it seems some of the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star's followers responded badly to the post, as she later criticised people for not appreciating "genuine love".
She tweeed: "I guess some people don't have genuine love for people anymore.
"Blows my mind how critical human beings are these days. Love is love! Some of yall need a hug!"
The posting from Khloe - who split from French in September after seven months of dating - comes a few days after she used social media to reach out to estranged husband Lamar Odom on his 35th birthday.
On Thursday (06.11.14), she posted a picture of a piece entitled 'Closure' which seemed to admit the pair didn't say goodbye when they split.
The quote read: "Closure: Like time suspended, a wound unmended - you and I. We had no ending, said no good-bye. For all my life, I'll wonder why."

Jason Orange considering psychologist career

Jason Orange is to train to be a psychologist.
The former Take That star is said to be "fascinated by the mind" and as a result is keen to find out even more about the behaviour and mental processes after quitting the band - made up of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen - in September.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Jason was fascinated by the mind.
"He is a great listener and is known among pals as a bit of a sensitive soul who likes to think about the big picture."
It won't be the first time the 44-year-old singer has dabbled in psychology education as in 2001 he did a two-year access course in the subject at South Trafford College in his native Greater Manchester.
He previously said: "When I finally decide to get out, my main focus will be developing my interest in psychology."
Jason - who was previously romantically linked to comedienne Catherine Tate - could look to delve into further education in other aspects as his two-year access course included biology, history and A-level English.
The star is also said to be keen to travel the world a bit more after hanging his microphone up.
A source recently said: "Jason hated being in it first time around. He genuinely likes going off travelling the world with a backpack, being anonymous and fancies himself as a thinker. He feels he's got his life back. He can now kick on and do what he wants to do."

Emeli Sande split from husband after one-year marriage

Emeli Sande has confirmed she divorced her husband last year after just 12 months of marriage.
The 27-year-old singer has revealed she came close to suffering a "breakdown" after splitting from her childhood sweetheart Adam Gouraguine - who she dated for 10 years - in 2013 and admitted she is still coming to terms with losing her "best friend".
Emeli - who married Adam in his home nation Montenegro in September 2012 - told The Times newspaper: "Everyone thought I'd gone mad. 'What do you mean a divorce? We were all at your wedding a few months ago!' But there was just something inside me that said, 'This isn't the life. You're pretending to be someone else.'
"And that's so hard to explain to someone. I can't even explain it now.
"I just felt I had to wake up. I'd been sleeping and things were happening. I could get up on stage and sing but, I don't know, it was just a real ... I don't want to call it a breakdown, but it felt like that.
"Every day you get a bit stronger. Every day you stop blaming yourself for things.
"I think I spent the couple of months after not in denial, but not really dealing with what had happened.
"Adam and I had been together since I was 17. He was my only boyfriend. That's the only person I've been with for the past 10 years.
"So [losing] our relationship more than the marriage was the big part for me to deal with.
"Having a friend who'd been my best friend for so long ... losing that support and structure in my life was the biggest thing."
Emeli - who debuted a new straight fringe look at the MTV European Music Awards in Glasgow, Scotland last night (09.11.14) - regrets ever getting married to Adam because their lives were "so separate" but insists she doesn't have a bad word to say about him and is going to keep her tattoo on her left breastbone, which reads "I love you Adam" in Serbian.
The 'Heaven' hitmaker, who is now single for the first time since she was 17, added: "I was on tour all the time and I think it was quite unfair of me to want his world to fit into my life so much.
"He'd come on tour then he'd go away for three months on a marine biology expedition somewhere.
"When we caught up it was great and we could tell each other stories, but it was almost like we were living our lives away from each other and growing into different people.
"And as soon as I got some rest and the madness stopped and I had a bit of a holiday, I was like, 'OK, let's see, what's been going on.' There were just lots of things. And stuff that just wasn't ... we were mates, but maybe we shouldn't have been married.
"I just didn't know who I was. And I felt I was being taken further and further away from who I really was and from my family.
"He was the person that had been there from the very beginning. And maybe I was just looking for."

Matt Damon to star in new Bourne film

Matt Damon is to return to the 'Bourne' franchise.
Following months of speculation, the 44-year-old actor has confirmed that he and director Paul Greengrass are to reunite for the new movie, which is set for release in 2016.
Responding to the speculation surrounding the film, Matt said: "[We'll shoot it] next year. It'll be in 2016 when the movie will actually come out."
He told E!: "Paul Greengrass is going to do another one and that's all I ever said. I just needed him to say yes."
However, the news was first hinted at by Matt's good friend Ben Affleck, 42, who was asked to compare their muscle tone in light of his physical transformation since accepting the role of Batman, to which he replied: "Well, Matt's going to be doing a Bourne movie next fall when I've just completely lost any semblance of physical fitness..."
Jeremy Renner stepped in as new character Aaron Cross for 2012's 'The Bourne Legacy', while Matt had previously said he had no intention of returning to the part of Jason Bourne.
Meanwhile, Matt will also star in 'Downsizing', which will be directed by Alexander Payne, who co-wrote the social satire about a man shrinking himself.
However, The Hollywood Reporter claims Matt's decision to appear in 'Downsizing' has put him out of the running for the Zhang Yimou epic 'The Great Wall'.

Robert Plant shunned 500m Led Zeppelin reunion

Robert Plant "tore up" a deal worth over £500 million to reform Led Zeppelin.
The 66-year-old legend stunned promoters of a proposed tour that would have saw the group - who split in 1980 and reformed for a one-off gig in London in 2007 - perform 35 dates in three cities for the staggering paycheque by refusing the deal, even though bandmates Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones had signed on, as had Jason Bonham, who replaced his late father John on drums for their previous reunion show.
A source said: "Jimmy, John and Jason signed up immediately.
"It was a no-brainer for them but Robert asked for 48 hours to think about it. When he said no and ripped up the paperwork he had been given, there was an enormous sense of shock.
"There is no way they can go ahead without him.
"They have tried to talk him round but there is no chance.
"His mind is made up and that's that."
Virgin tycoon Sir Richard Branson made the offer, which would have seen one of his Jumbo jets rebranded The Starship to carry the group for the tour and the back 20 rows would have been sold for £100,000-a-seat.
The source added to the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Branson tried to pull out all of the stops. But even his money was not enough to get Plant to sign up. He is gutted."
An insider said while Jason would receive a wage, the three founder members would receive £250 million for 35 shows in London, Berlin and New Jersey and an additional £70 million in merchandise profits. There was also an option to do 45 more gigs in five venues.
The 'Stairway to Heaven' singer has previously insisted he isn't interested in getting back on stage with his bandmates again.
Speaking about the chances of a reunion happening, he said: "If I really wanted to be loved by the public, I know what I'd have to do, which I'm not going to do - so I have nothing to lose.
"Anyone who is famous is dealing with the same s**t. It's just a question of how you deal with it. Now I can see how ridiculous I am, or at least, was. Am I a pop singer, a rock singer, the guy from Led Zeppelin? Actually I'm just a bloke with the facility to get out all these emotions within the musical company I'm keeping. And I'm burning every bridge as I go."

Queen Elizabeth leads Remembrance Sunday tributes

Britain's Queen Elizabeth lead tributes to the war dead on Remembrance Sunday.
The 88-year-old British monarch became the national focus on Sunday (10.11.14) as she lay a wreath of poppies on the centre of the top step on the Cenotaph in London, England as part of the Remembrance Sunday, which commemorates British and Commonwealth soldiers who have died during conflict.
Queen Elizabeth was followed in strict order of precedence by her 93-year-old husband Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, her son Prince Charles, her grandson Prince William; her younger sons Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, and the Queen's cousin, the Duke of Kent.
Also in attendance was Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, 32, - who is currently pregnant with her second child - who stood beside Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and the Countess of Wessex.
Many political figures were also present at the ceremony, including the British Prime Minister David Cameron, who remarked that this year - which marks the 100th anniversary of the start of First World War - as "particularly poignant".
He said: "We owe each and every member of our Armed Forces and the families who support them a tremendous debt - one that can never be repaid - and I pay huge tribute to their bravery and resolve."

Insurers probe L’Wren Scott’s mental health

The Rolling Stones' insurance company are to interview L'Wren Scott's brother about her mental state before she died.
The group cancelled a number of gigs in Australia following the suicide of frontman Sir Mick Jagger's girlfriend in March and though they had a insurance policy which paid in the event shows were scrapped for a number of reasons, including the death of specific people named in the policy - which, for the singer, included the model, his former partners and wives, seven children and four grandchildren - a claim for $12.7 million is being contested.
In the subsequent legal battle, 12 underwriters have now received permission from a court in Salt Lake City, Utah to gather documents and testimony from Randall Bambrough, though he insists he has not yet been ordered to speak to them about his sister and did not know about being named in the federal case, the Salt Lake Tribune reports.
The underwriters are seeking information as to whether L'Wren had a pre-existing mental illness as therefore her death might not be covered under the policy, arguing her death was "not beyond her control."
The insurance company's response to the Rolling Stones' lawsuit to obtain payment added: "Ms. Scott intended to, and did, commit suicide and her death was therefore not 'sudden and unforeseen."
The firm are also seeking to speak to L'Wren's former personal assistant Brittany Penebre, the executor of her estate, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
In addition, while the documents state the 'Brown Sugar' singer was "diagnosed as suffering from acute traumatic stress disorder" and was advised by doctors not to perform for at least 30 days, the insurers have said it didn't appear the 71-year-old singer had actually been examined by doctors but the claim was based on a letter from a medic who did not personally see the star and was not a psychiatrist.

Jennifer Aniston: Justin Theroux is ‘special’

Jennifer Aniston thinks Justin Theroux is "quite special".
The 'Horrible Bosses 2' actress credits her actor fiance - who she got engaged to in August 2012 - for helping her find a balance in her personal and professional life because he is a "beautiful equaliser".
She said: "He is a beautiful equaliser. He's a really beautiful, wonderful partner. He's quite special."
Because the couple haven't yet set a wedding date, their relationship has been the subject of much scrutiny, but the 45-year-old star insists she finds the speculation more "comical" than annoying.
She told 'Access Hollywood': "I think we're just so uninteresting, we don't do anything, that there's no real narrative other than that to sort of slap onto us.
"Then, once we do [marry], then it's gonna be -well, it [already] is the babies. I mean, it's comical!"
And the former 'Friends' star insists she is feeling happier and more confident than ever.
She said: "Everything I've learned, life's wonderful gifts, roadblocks, joys, ups, downs, everything is just - it's true, youth is wasted on the young. There's no doubt about it.
"I look at all of my girlfriends and friends, and I think we're all becoming more and more in our bodies. [Am I more confident?] Yeah, for sure. 100 percent.
"It's absolutely one of the happiest times in my life."
