Texas Chainsaw Massacre star Marilyn Burns dies aged 65

'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' heroine Marilyn Burns has died aged 65.
The star, who played Sally Hardesty in the 1974 horror movie, was discovered by a family member at her home in Houston but it is not known how she passed away, a representative told TMZ.
The Medical Examiner's Office in Houston confirmed to the website that an autopsy will be performed on her body.
A representative for the actress also told E!: "She was found unresponsive by a family member this morning in her Houston, TX area home.
"Her family asks for privacy at this time. Further details will be released later."
Burns was mainly known for her role as Sally, who somehow managed to survive Leatherface's gruesome rampage in the frightening film.
She clearly held a torch for Tobe Hooper's cult movie as she reprised her role in 1994's 'The Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation' and once again in 2013 when she appeared in 'Texas Chainsaw 3D'.
As well as the popular motion picture, Burns also starred as Linda Kasabian in 1976 TV film 'Helter Skelter'.
But Burn's horror success wasn't just limited to 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' as she went on to star in horror film 'Eaten Alive' in 1977.

Greg Davies shocked by success of Inbetweeners

Greg Davies is shocked 'The Inbetweeners' has become such a huge success.
The comedian - who plays the role of head teacher Mr Gilbert in the franchise - was speaking at the world premiere for 'The Inbetweeners 2' in central London last night (06.08.14), where he reflected on how the show has evolved since it first aired on E4 in 2008.
Asked whether he could believe the success of the franchise, the 46-year-old said: "No, I can't - and I'm sure anyone you speak to from the cast can't either. It's madness, it's brilliant madness.
"It's been a while since we were all on screen together and that everybody is still so excited by it is brilliant."
Greg - who also stars as Ken Thompson in BBC 3 sitcom 'Cuckoo' - said the success of 'The Inbetweeners' is tied to the fact all the cast enjoy what they do.
He explained: "I just had a great time on set and it's just a really fun atmosphere. The writers make sure that everyone is having a laugh and the more you have a laugh, the more it comes across on screen."
'The Inbetweeners 2' is open in UK cinemas now.

Rixton: Justin Bieber is a ‘great lad’

Rixton think Justin Bieber "is a great lad."
The boy band - consisting of Jake Roche, Charley Bagnall, Danny Wilkin and Lewis Morgan - have jumped to the 20-year-old singer's defence following his altercation with Orlando Bloom last week in Ibiza.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, Jake, 21, said: "Justin is a great lad and really good to us. But if we hadn't met him we would be on the same bandwagon saying 'What an a***hole' like everyone else.
"Then when you meet someone you realise it's not fair and all blown out of proportion."
However, it's not just Justin the 'Wait on Me' hitmakers think is misunderstood as they believe rapper Kanye West is also made out to be a bad guy as well.
Jake explained: "It's the same with Kanye West. We were scared he would rant at us like people in the media make out.
"But he came up to us with no security and casually said: 'Hey guys, how you doing?' So we asked for a picture and he was like: 'Sure, jump in.'
"We chatted to him, fist-bumped him, and made him laugh - that's my biggest moment of glory"
Meanwhile, the four-piece - who share the same management as Justin, Scooter Braun - have hit out at those who question their ability on their upcoming album.
Jake explained: "The album kicks off with a huge a cappella song with layers of harmonies. It's a Boyz II Men or Beach Boys sort of thing.
"We wanted to start with that as a statement, then you hear us plug in our guitars and crank it up for the rest of the album."

Ben Howard was indecisive about second album

Ben Howard was "racked with indecision" over his new album.
The 'Only Love' hitmaker wanted to record longer songs for his forthcoming second LP, but he admits he was hesitant about it for a while beforehand because he didn't want people to get bored of it.
Speaking to radio station XFM, he said: "All the songs are really long, it might just get tiring for people! I'll probably do a short pop record next time. But it seemed like the right thing to do.
"I didn't think too much about it. Then there were times when I thought way too much about it. I was kind of supremely confident then racked with indecision for the whole the winter. The whole record's really skitty and undecided - it feels like I've kind of lost my brain a bit!"
The 27-year-old hunk insists he'll be touring the album "quite heavily" in the near future because the songs featured on it, he believes, sound better played live.
He said: "There's talk of European tours sometime at the back end of the year. It's very much a live thing this record, so we'll be touring it quite heavily I think."
Ben released his preview track 'The End Of The Affair' last night (05.08.14) and his album will follow shortly.

William, Harry and Catherine visit poppy artwork

Britain's Princes William and Harry and Duchess Catherine planted ceramic poppies yesterday (05.08.14).
The royal trio visited the Tower of London to see the Blood Swept Lands And Seas Of Red art installation and set down their own flowers in the Tower's moat, where 120,000 poppies are currently installed.
More will be added over the coming months until Armistice Day on November 11, when there will be 888,246 - one for each British and Commonwealth death in the First World War.
Before planting the poppies, the group joined artist Paul Cummins in climbing the Middle Tower to view the work from on high then walked through the whole exhibit accompanied by General Lord Dannatt, Constable of the Tower of London, and his wife Philippa.
William was heard telling the artist he thought the installation was "spectacular".
Mr. Cummins got the idea from a "living will" he found two years ago which had used the phrase in the exhibit's title.
He added: "Each one represents someone who died in the First World War from Britain and the Commonwealth. I'm literally trying to represent people because a number is a number, but if you see it all like this it is a visual idea of how many people were there."
The poppies in the moat take three days to make each and are for sale online at £25 per flower.
After Remembrance ceremonies in November, the flowers - which are being installed by the artist and a team of 8,000 volunteers - will be posted to the buyers and profits donated to six service charities.

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini booed at auditions

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini was "really shocked" to be booed at 'X Factor' auditions.
The 'Crazy Stupid Love' hitmaker stood in for Simon Cowell - who had a migraine - at the Wembley try-outs yesterday (05.08.14) and despite promising to have "more fun" without the music mogul, her harsh critiques quickly angered the audience.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Cheryl wasn't prepared. She gave one contestant tough love and they burst into tears. The audience booed her and she was really shocked.
"She did her best to fill in for Simon, sitting in his seat and cutting songs short with his hand gestures."
Cheryl first angered the crowd after reducing one singer to tears by telling her she'd be better off in stand-up comedy, and was then booed again when she advised another act to be more like Justin Bieber.
To the first singer, a 26-year-old woman named Sammy, she said: "I think Simon was right, you could be your own five-piece band, but I think you should do stand-up or something like that.
"I just wouldn't know how to mentor you."
To which Sammy replied: "But I don't always have to be mental."
Cheryl retorted: "But every time we've met you, you are."
And to the second auditionee, she advised: "You need more stage presence, there's nothing there. If Justin Bieber came on to that stage... "
Her harsh remarks will have come as a shock as she pledged not to be "offensive" at the beginning of the session.
She said: "I'm going to be honest in a way that's not offensive."

Inbetweeners stars indulged their childish sides on set

'The Inbetweeners 2' cast used the movie to indulge their "childish" sides.
Joe Thomas, 30, Simon Bird, 29, James Buckley, 26, and 29-year-old Blake Harrison - who reprise their roles as hapless students Simon, Will, Jay and Neil in the comedy sequel - admitted they revel in their on-screen roles because it gives them an excuse to behave in a puerile way.
Speaking at the world premiere of the movie in London's Leicester Square last night (05.08.14), Blake told BANG Showbiz: "From day one, [the producers] set up an atmosphere whereby if something is funny, it's OK to do.
"I don't think we're individually the characters we play on set, but what I think we do is we regress into the kind of childish, puerile humour that the characters have."
James echoed the sentiment, joking: "You don't have to persuade us a lot to behave like childish idiots! Our excuse is that we're in 'character'."
And 27-year-old Emily Berrington - who plays new character Katie in the new movie - says that although the boys are more mature than their on-screen characters, she still had to endure plenty of gross behaviour.
She said: "They maintain a laddy atmosphere all the time, so there's lots of eating - daring each other to eat disgusting things - a lot farting and doing really terrible thing to try to put each other off.
"But I loved it, it made the whole experience really fun."

Chloe Grace Moretz loves skateboarding with Brooklyn

Chloe Grace Moretz loves skateboarding with Brooklyn Beckham.
The 17-year-old actress is rumoured to be dating the 15-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham and she has now spoken about their friendship, saying Brooklyn is a "typical guy".
Asked who is the better skateboarder, she told Company magazine: "I don't know. I mean, he has a pretty small skateboard, and I like more of a long board.
"I think he's a risk taker, like a typical guy, weaving in and out of people. I'm a safety boarder - I don't want to break any bones."
The American teenager has a number of British friends, including Jude Law and Sadie Frost's son Rafferty, 18, and Jonathan Ross and Jane Goldman's daughter Honey, 16.
She added: "I lived in London for sooo long when I was filming 'Hugo' and 'Kick-Ass'.
"I've known Raff, since I was like, 14. And 'Kick-Ass' screenwriter Jane Goldman's daughter, Honey is a good friend of mine, too."
As well as skateboarding, it was recently revealed Chloe and Brooklyn have enjoyed low-key dates at popular spinning gym Soul Cycle in Brentwood, Los Angeles over the summer.
A source said: "They cycle next to each other and are very cute. Always look to be cheering each other on with smiles. They also both seem very competitive, but in a fun way."
Despite being fans of the actress, Brooklyn's parents, David and Victoria Beckham, always supervise his dates with the 'Carrie' star.
The insider said: "Brooklyn is always chaperoned by one of his parents. But both David and Victoria must be okay with Chloe, because they will chat briefly with her and then leave them alone."
The couple started dating three months after being introduced at Paris Fashion Week by mutual friends.

Kieran Hayler ‘cried’ as Katie Price gave birth

Kieran Hayler "cried like a baby" as Katie Price gave birth.
The former glamour model's on-off stripper husband was present at the birth of his daughter on Monday (04.08.14) and was reportedly in floods of tears when the 36-year-old star underwent an emergency caesarean section after going into labour two weeks early.
A close friend of Katie's told The Sun newspaper: "When the baby was delivered, Kieran started crying like a baby. She feels the birth of his daughter has made him see the light.
"Kieran proved himself to Katie over the last week. He was dressed in scrubs for the operation and she loved it. She joked that the last time he was in clothes like that was for a stripping routine."
Despite recent problems in their marriage following the revelation Kieran had been unfaithful with two of his wife's friends, the couple have grown close in recent weeks and Katie - who gave birth to their 11-month-old son Jett eight weeks early - credits her spouse's support for helping her through her pregnancy.
The insider told the newspaper: "It's only Kieran who has been able to keep her through it all.
"She was so scared about losing the baby. It wasn't a pleasant operation but she was absolutely ecstatic that her little girl was healthy."
Katie -who is also mother to 12-year-old Harvey, nine-year-old son Junior and seven-year-old Princess from previous relationships - has already posted a tribute to Kieran on her Twitter page.
The cute image shows her as-yet-unnamed daughter clutching at her father's finger and the image is captioned: "Daddy's little girl 🙂 (sic)"

Jessica Alba’s aging anger

Jessica Alba was "p***ed off" about turning 30.
The 33-year-old actress - who has daughters Honor, six, and Haven, two, with husband Cash Warren - found reaching a new decade a lot "harder" than she expected and says it was particularly difficult as being pregnant with her youngest child meant she couldn't celebrate "like a rock star".
She admitted: "I was pretty p***** off. I don't know why it was so hard, it just was.
"I was pregnant [with Haven] first of all, and I really wanted to party like a rock star. I didn't even know I cared about my twenties until I turned 30."
However, the 'Sin City: A Dame To Kill For' actress thinks she has grown more attractive as she has gotten older.
She told Britain's Marie Claire magazine: "I feel like I look better now. I think I came into my own physically in my thirties, even when I'd had kids. I'm actually smaller now because everything kind of hangs off differently.
"But I feel more like a woman, with not such a girl face. I had such chubby cheeks."
The 'Barely Lethal' actress admits she knew as soon as she met Cash, who she married in 2008 after four years of dating, they would be together forever.
She said: "Immediately we felt like really close friends. I don't know if that translates into being swept off your feet, as it wasn't really that; it was more, 'I'm going to this person for the rest of my life because he feels like family already.' And that was even before we started dating."

Captain America will be ‘explicitly political’

'Captain America 3' will have "explicitly political" themes.
Directors Joe and Anthony Russo are currently developing ideas for the next movie in the superhero series - which stars Chris Evans in the title role and as his alter ego Steve Rogers - and they are keen for their character not to become a "disillusioned antihero".
Anthony told Yahoo!: "The character was invented for an explicitly political purpose. So it's hard to get away from that nature.
"It's also important that Captain America doesn't become another disillusioned antihero."
Joe added: "His morality is part of his superpower."
The pair were keen not to give too many details away, but did promise the story will "bringing some new elements to the table that will give a twist on [second movie] 'Winter Soldier'."
They also suggested they will explore the troubled relationship between Captain America and his childhood friend-turned-assassin Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan).
And the directors advised fans to watch out for several members of their own family making cameo appearances, as is often the case in their work.
Joe laughed: "If you look at the credits of 'Winter Soldier', there's probably 47 Russos in the film."
The movie will pick up some time after the events of 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'.
It is currently scheduled for release on May 6, 2016.

Matt Richardson turned down ‘Xtra Factor’ return because of seriousness

Matt Richardson rejected a return to the 'Xtra Factor' because bosses wanted him to be more serious.
The 23-year-old comedian - who presented the 'X Factor' spin-off show last year with Caroline Flack - claims he turned down the opportunity because he wasn't ready to give up his comedic nature.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "ITV wanted to change the show to be different this year and even quite early on in the year, I was asked if it was to become more serious, would I still be interested. I wasn't because everything that I do is comedy based.
"It was pretty much sort of them wanting to change it and me not really feeling like there was a place for me anymore."
Sarah-Jane Crawford will now take over the reigns of the ITV show later this year and Matt feels like she's perfectly suited to the role and it's her time to shine.
He explained: "I only met her once ... She's really nice, she's worked really hard - like she's been grafting for 10 years so I think she's due a break like 'Xtra Factor'.
"I don't have any ill feelings. I think she'll be really good and really different, which is what they wanted and I think it's really exciting when shows get new talent in to present. So I think good luck to her."
Matt will next be seen in the Virgin Media Louder Lounge and Virgin Media Our House at the forthcoming V Festival, http://www.vfestival.com, on August 16 and 17, where he will perform.
