Anna Kendrick won't tweet drunk.
The 'Into the Woods' actress is known for speaking her mind on the social networking website but always makes sure she takes precautions not to say anything she'll regret later.
She said: "I drunk draft and double check them in the morning.
"Although I have done a handful of drunk tweets and so far people have not been able to tell the difference although I'm not quite sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing that my sober tweets could be drunk tweets."
The 29-year-old beauty was surprised to discover her more "innocuous" postings tend to attract more questioning about her intentions.
She said: "It's funny because I feel like when I try to say something really innocuous, those are the ones where people are like, 'What do you mean by that?'
"Sometimes, I just say something kind of gross, kind of honest, maybe a little too brutal. Those are the ones people respond to more.
"It's when you try to say something that's a little too squeaky clean that people are like, 'What's that? What are you doing? What's going on?'"
And one of the downsides the 'Up in the Air' star has found to social media is the number of former classmates who have used it to get in touch.
She told E! News: "Every now and then, I'll get a blast from the past.
"I don't think we were close but sure, next time you're in L.A. I guess [we can hang]."
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini insists she will not sign any child stars to her record label because there is "too much pressure" on them to succeed.
The 31-year-old singer is planning to only tie up deals for singers who are "over 18" so she can nurture their talent and make sure they are ready for the dog-eat-dog nature of the music industry as she fears acts any younger than that may crumble under the demands of showbusiness.
Cheryl said: "It's too much pressure. They would have to be over 18. But I would develop them while they're in school.
"Look around at the child stars - the record's not exactly promising."
The 'Only Human' hitmaker - who shot to fame on 'Popstars: The Rivals' when she was 19 - cannot wait to get started on her record label because she loves nurturing talent in her role as a judge on 'The X Factor'.
Cheryl told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I would nurture the artist before they put anything out there. I would ensure my girls do a preparation course.
"I love the aspect of 'X Factor' where I'm nurturing talent. Watching the sparkle in someone else's eye and remembering you having that dream, it's such a buzz."
But the pop star admitted it may be some time before she is ready to launch her label, admitting it would be "ambitious" to think it could be up and running by 2015.
She said: "These things take a long time. I have to get the right team."
Michael Lohan has married Kate Major.
According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan's father tied the knot with his girlfriend on October 30 in an intimate ceremony at Hillsboro Beach in Florida - but the 'Mean Girls' actor was reportedly not invited nor told about the nuptials.
Lindsay's brother, 'The Parent Trap' actor Michael Lohan Jr., is also not said to have been told about his dad's wedding, nor invited to the ceremony.
Michael revealed last month that he and pregnant Kate - who he has 22-month-old son Landon with - were planning to marry in November.
He said: "We are [getting married] next month. Very small and private beach wedding."
Kate is currently eight months pregnant with the couple's second child, but was recently rushed to hospital after suffering excessive bleeding.
A source said at the time: "Kate started bleeding and 911 was called. Several nurses, paramedics and Sergeants responded because of the amount of bleeding. She was diagnosed with placenta praevia and the baby is in breach position. Kate is a high risk pregnancy and feels she is not getting the proper medical treatment in jail. Friday at the hospital was the first day Kate was examined by an OBGYN."
The incident occurred while the former newspaper reporter was in Palm Beach County Jail, where she was serving an eight-month sentence for driving under the influence (DUI) after testing three times over the drink-drive limit following her arrest in March 2013.
Michael and Kate, who was released from prison in September, initially got engaged over the Easter weekend in 2010 but they broke up shortly afterwards before getting back together.
Robert Downey Jr's father is more proud of him for beating his drug addiction rather than his acting success.
Robert Downey Sr's achievements are to be celebrated by his 'Iron Man' star son and 'Inherent Vice' director Paul Thomas Anderson at a fundraiser this weekend but he's revealed his proudest moment was seeing his son overcome his addictions.
He told the New York Post newspaper's PageSix column his ultimate career "highlight" was "when my son turned his life around [from drug problems], that's my highlight moment".
The 'Hugo Pool' filmmaker is being honoured at the Friends of Cinefamily weekend fundraiser and retrospective in Los Angeles that will include a Q&A session with his son, which he admits will likely be "embarrassing" because they joke around so much.
Downey Sr. recalled: "Right after 'Iron Man', he was voted on of the Time Magazine 100. He called me up and asked me to get in a tuxedo. So I rented a tuxedo, [but] he didn't like the way I had the tuxedo."
Explaining how he got his own back on his son after he thanked him for being "his mentor" on stage, he continued: "'What do you have to say dad?' - I said, 'I'm not your father.' "
And Downey Sr. also confessed he's looking forward to seeing his new granddaughter, Avri Roel Downey - whom Downey Jr. and wife Susan welcomed into the world earlier this month.
He added: "The most exciting part of going to LA (is) I get to see my two-week-old granddaughter."

Jessie J wanted to "show what music can do" with her American Music Awards (AMAs) performance on Sunday (23.11.14).
The British singer walked through the crowd at Los Angeles Nokia Theatre as she kicked off a rendition of 'Bang Bang' - her collaboration with Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj - and felt doing that echoed the celebratory nature of the evening.
She said: "I just want people to see how much I love to sing... I just wanted to show people what music can do. You know, from the little girls in the front row that were turning around and taking pictures with everyone who I observed the whole night, to the Kardashians, to Taylor Swift, to everyone that's in this industry in different ways and how they [got into] it.
"It's a celebration, and that's what I wanted to be a part of. I wanted to walk around, you know, from my boyfriend Luke James who I went up to, my manager was in the shot.
"It's about celebrating all the people who make this happen for me."
The 26-year-old singer enjoyed getting chance to watch the other performances on the night and particularly enjoyed Taylor Swift's rendition of 'Blank Space'.
She told 'Access Hollywood': "Taylor Swift's performance was incredible. I think the production was one of the best I've seen.
"Sam Smith is one of my good, good friends. His voice sounds like it's recorded all the time. I've, who else did I enjoy? I love 5 Seconds of Summer, I think their energy is amazing. I enjoyed everyone. Iggy was great."
Bob Dylan played a gig for just one person on Sunday (23.11.14).
The legendary singer took to the stage at Philadelphia's Academy of Music with his touring band to sing Buddy Holly's 'Heartbeat', Fats Domino's 'Blueberry Hill', 'It's Too Late (She's Gone)' by Chuck Willis and an unidentified blues jam for 41-year-old Fredrik Wikingsson, who sat alone in the second row.
The fan said: "I was smiling so much it was like I was on ecstasy. My jaw hurt for hours afterwards because I couldn't stop smiling."
The special show was part of a Swedish film series, 'Experiment Ensam' ('Experiment Alone'), where people experience things alone which are usually undertaken by large crowds, such as karaoke bars or comedy clubs and Dylan was paid an undisclosed sum for taking part.
TV personality Wikingsson applauded after the first song, then found he couldn't hold himself back.
He laughed to Rolling Stone magazine: "Nobody took notice of me [when I clapped].
"I figured that maybe it just sounded phony or weird. During the second song, 'Blueberry Hill,' I realised I had to say something. It was just too weird. I screamed out, 'You guys sound great!'
"That caused Dylan to burst out laughing. Now, I have two kids and their births were great, but him laughing onstage at some lousy f***ing comment of mine was unbelievable..."
"When the show ended Dylan said, 'Swing by anytime.' He was highlighting the fact this was a weird thing that will never happen again. It was just so f***ing great."
Despite the empty theatre, Wikinsson - who admits to being a "wreck" before the show - spent a lot of time considering where to sit.
He explained: "I thought the first row might freak him out.
"I was like a guy picking the next-to-most expensive bottle of wine in a restaurant, which is a very Swedish thing to do. I figured the second row would be ideal."
A 15-minute documentary of the event will debut on YouTube next month.
Britain's Prince William will visit China next year.
The 32-year-old prince is expected to travel to the republic in 2015 although it is not yet known whether his wife Duchess Catherine - who is due to give birth to their second child in April - will join him on the trip.
The proposed tour has not yet been confirmed by Kensington Palace officials, but it is seen as an opportunity to improve diplomatic relations.
In 1986, William's grandparents Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip undertook a tour of China.
However, the visit was marred by the Duke of Edinburgh famously overheard describing Beijing as "ghastly" and telling British exchange students: "If you stay here much longer you'll all be slitty-eyed."
William's father, Prince Charles, has never made an official visit to the republic but went to Hong Kong in 1997 for the handover ceremony of the former British colony.
Charles has had a famously rocky relationship with China in the past, made worse when a leaked diary revealed he had described the country's communist leaders as "appalling old waxworks".
In 1999, Charles failed to attend a banquet for then-president Jiang Zemin and was accused of boycotting the Chinese state visit to the UK.
Six years later, the prince was out of the country in the US when former president Hu Jintao came to Britain on another state visit.
However, in 2009, the 66-year-old heir opened The Prince's Charities Foundation (China) in Beijing, his first charity to be based in China.
The same year, he also undertook a private meeting with Mr. Hu in London.
Simon Cowell has sparked speculation he is leaving 'The X Factor' again.
The 55-year-old music mogul - who left the talent show in 2011 to launch the programme in America - only returned this year but could be off at the end of the series because he has several US projects in the pipeline.
He said: "There's another show that I will be on in America -- a new one, which we've been working on for a few months.
"Next year we'll have a minimum of four shows on US networks."
Meanwhile, Simon said goodbye to another of his acts, Stevi Ritchie, at the weekend but with two of his Over 25s - Fleur East and Ben Haenow - down to the final five, he thinks either of them could win the show.
He told The Sun newspaper: "As long as Fleur and Ben are in there, we'll have a proper final -- where you just don't know who's gonna win.
"I love that idea."
However, one person Simon doesn't want to see in the final is Andrea Faustini, who competed with Stevi in the sing-off on Sunday (23.11.14).
Asked if he thinks Andrea - who is mentored by Mel B - should be in the final, he said: "No, because I think he's peaked. It's the same thing week after week."
And the judge - who has 10-month-old son Eric with girlfriend Lauren Silverman - wasn't impressed by the Italian's performance at the weekend.
He said: "I actually watched it back at home and didn't think he sounded great and I told Mel that, so she got the needle with me.
"So when he was in the bottom I was kind of gloating a little bit."
Vanessa Hudgens has been granted a restraining order against an alleged stalker.
The 'Spring Breakers' actress went to court after Junior Kabongo travelled from Africa to Los Angeles to meet her after sending her a string of "extremely graphic" emails in which he also declared his intentions to marry her.
One of the messages he sent read: "Hello, I love you and want to marry you."
And another, more graphic one, read: "God gave me a penis to make you feel like you never did everytime when we'll make love.(sic)"
In a third email, Kabongo also expressed his desire to pursue a Hollywood career.
According to TMZ, he wrote: "I love you and wanna marry you. I WRITE SCREENPLAYS. I wanna become a movie star.(sic)"
Kabongo then told the 25-year-old beauty he had booked a flight to Los Angeles to meet with her.
He was spotted driving up and down Vanessa's street on both November 1 and 4, prompting her to seek a restraining order.
A judge ordered Kabongo to stay 100 yards away from the 'High School Musical' actress, her boyfriend Austin Butler, and her 19-year-old sister Stella.
Fergie is teaching her son about Christmas.
The 39-year-old singer is excited about the festive season and though she admits 14-month-old Axl Jack - who she has with husband Josh Duhamel - has "no idea" what is going on, he already enjoys using Santa's famous catchphrase.
Fergie said: "I'm showing him cartoons, like this is Santa. He has no idea who Santa is.
"I said, 'Ho, Ho, Ho.' He just likes to say, 'Ho, Ho, Ho.' I don't know why."
While Fergie dotes on her little boy, she has recently returned to her music career and admits it "feels good" to be working again.
Speaking to 'Access Hollywood' at the American Music Awards (AMAs), where she performed her new single 'L.A. Love (La La)', she said: "It feels so good, ya know mommy's ready to have some fun."
The AMAs also saw raunchy performances from the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Iggy Azalea, Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj and though the 'My Humps' singer doesn't think she can compete in the "booty" stakes, she is happy to flaunt the assets she has.
She laughed: "I may not have as much booty as some of these girls. I might not be blessed with that, but ya know what, I got a little one. I just work what I got."
Lorde has been exchanging flirty tweets with a porn star.
The 18-year-old singer - who has been following adult movie star James Deen on Twitter since last November - began chatting to him on the site after he posted that she was "f**king awesome".
He wrote: "I recently started listening to Lorde...Lorde is f****** awesome. (sic)"
The 'Royals' hitmaker replied, complimenting a profile that had been written on the 28-year-old actor - who starred opposite Lindsay Lohan in 'The Canyons' -
in GQ magazine in 2012.
She said: "and vice versa...adored Wells Towers' GQ profile a couple years back.(sic)"
James - whose real name is Bryan Sevilla - then encouraged Lorde to "please forever continue to be awesome", before tweeting the lyrics from her hit 'Team'.
The 'Assume The Position' star said: "I'm kinda over getting told to throw my hands up in the air" Lorde...you understand. (sic)"
Lorde also recently took to Twitter following a chance encounter with rapper Pitbull, which she described as "not dissimilar to meeting the president".
The Grammy Award-winner was so impressed by the 'Timber' hitmaker after she met him backstage at the American Music Awards (AMAs) on Sunday (23.11.14), she quickly shared the news with her 2.75 million followers and likened him to US leader Barack Obama.
She wrote on the site: "i met pitbull backstage, felt this wave of his charisma and loveliness wash over me, probably not dissimilar to meeting the president. (sic)"
