Kanye West to quit music?

Kanye West is reportedly planning to quit music for fashion.
The 'Bound 2' hitmaker - who has 16-month-old daughter North with wife Kim Kardashian West - wants to "step away" from the recording studio so he can concentrate on his desire to establish a clothing line.
A source said: "After his next [collaboration] with Sir Paul McCartney comes out, he's going to step away from music and concentrate on clothing."
And if he does turn his back on his music career, it is hoped the 37-year-old rapper can finally fulfill his commitments to Adidas.
The source added to the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column:
"He got a $15 million signing bonus from Adidas, but his line has been pushed back four times because he hasn't had enough time to work on it."
Kanye previously had a deal with Nike but left to work with their rivals as they offered more money.
He has explained in the past: "The old me -- without a daughter -- might have taken this Nike deal because I just love Nike so much, blah, blah, blah, but the new me, with a daughter, takes the Adidas deal because I have royalties and I have to provide for my family...
I'm going to be the first hip-hop designer, and because of that I'mma be bigger than Wal-Mart."

David McIntosh: I’m back with Kelly Brook

David McIntosh insists he and Kelly Brook are "madly in love".
The former 'Gladiators' star - who split from the brunette beauty in September following rumours he had cheated on her - claims the pair have put their problems behind them and are back together again.
He said: "Kelly and I are madly in love. This is love. No matter what goes on, we can't stand being apart.
"We are back together now. That's the truth and that's because of love.
"Neither of us can help it man. It's love, love, love."
David's comments come just weeks after he accused Kelly - who has recently been romantically linked with model James Crabtree - of "bullying" him during arguments, but he insisted he only lashed out because he was upset about the end of their relationship.
He told The Sun newspaper: "Look Dan, I was hurting man. I didn't even know. I said a lot of things that I didn't actually mean.
"I had to keep going with the interviews because I was promoting my Devil Dawg nutrition products."
David, 28, flew out to visit Kelly, 35, in Los Angeles last month and declared soon afterwards he was hopeful of a reconciliation, even though the 'One Big Happy' actress proclaimed herself to be single.
He said recently: "I'm hoping the engagement will be back on soon.
"I pulled out all the stops in LA - I did a lot of nice things. I guess she's addicted to me."
However, the hunky star also admitted he is unsure of their relationship status and had no idea Kelly had stopped following him on Twitter.
Asked why she had unfollowed him, he said: "Did she actually unfollow me? That's something I'll have to check. Maybe she's broken up with me again..."

Tom Hanks’ son goes to rehab

Tom Hanks' son has undergone treatment for cocaine addiction.
The 'Philadelphia' star and wife Rita Wilson's eldest child, 24-year-old Chester - who is also known as rapper Chet Haze - recently went to rehab to seek help for his drug problem and has now been sober for 50 days after "struggling" since he was 16.
Speaking in a video message on his Instagram page, he said: "I've been struggling with substance abuse since I was 16 years old.
"Finally at the age of 24 I decided to get some help. With 50 days of sobriety under my belt, I can honestly say I'm the happiest I've ever been."
The 'Do It Better' rapper went on to thank his family - including brother Truman and half-brother Colin - for their support and said he feels "blessed" to be able to overcome his problems.
He wrote in a caption accompanying the video: "I'm thankful for my family and everybody that cares about me, including my fans. I've been blessed with the programs of AA and NA which allow me to rise above this disease. I'm learning to accept my faults and be ok with being human. If anybody that sees this struggles with addiction, feel free to reach out. Thank you all for the love and support! God is real. (sic)"
Chet decided to go public about his addiction after a US magazine planned to expose his battle.
He said: "I have an announcement: A tabloid is about to run a piece on me being in rehab for a cocaine addiction. It's true. I'm currently 50 days clean and sober from everything, including alcohol...
"I don't give a f**k what people think. F**k the media."

James Cameron: New Avatar films will shock

James Cameron says the new 'Avatar' films will be "bitchin'."
The three sequels to the 2009 blockbuster are currently in pre-production as the screenwriter puts the finishing touches to the scripts, but has hinted fans will be shocked by the blockbuster movies.
Speaking of the three - currently untitled - sequels, he said: "They're gonna be bitchin'. You will s**t yourself with your mouth wide open. (sic)"
The 60-year-old director has been working on the films for several years, but progress was made at the beginning of the year with Zoe Saldana confirming she will be reprising her role as Na'vi alien Neytiri, and Sam Worthington returning as protagonist Jake Sully.
The 'Titanic' director has also been speaking about how the sequels will be filmed, confirming he has opted to shoot the movies in 48 frames per second as opposed to a rumoured 60 frames per second, explaining it is more sensible for when it is released publicly.
Talking to the new issue of Empire magazine, he said: "My thinking at the time was that 60 [FPS] might be a better segue to the video market,
"I'll be plugging into a system that's a little more mature, so it makes sense for me to do 48 frames at this point."
The second 'Avatar' film is due to be shot in 2015, with a release date of December 2016.

Nikki Sixx picks own song for funeral

Nikki Sixx wants one of his own songs played at his funeral.
The 55-year-old Motley Crue bassist would like to have the track 'Life Is Beautiful' by his side band Sixx:A.M. played when he is laid to rest because he doesn't want it to be a sad occasion.
When asked what song would be played at the service, he said: "I've picked one of my own songs here, but with good reason, because it's so appropriate.
"It says, 'Promise me you won't cry at my funeral,' and I'd like to think when that day eventually comes everyone will be able to throw one hell of a party and tell a lot of funny stories."
The musician - who wed for the third time in March, this time to model Courtney Bingham - also revealed he was inspired to begin a band as a youngster after writing simple songs for kids.
Talking about the track which made him want to be a musician, he told the latest issue of NME magazine: "It wasn't one song, it was all the songs. Before I was in a band I was making up nursery rhymes."
Nikki - who is a member of Motley Crue along with bandmates Tommy Lee, Mick Mars and Vince Neil - added: "I left Idaho to live with my mum, and there was this acoustic guitar at her house that I started to write songs on. I was a songwriter before I was a musician."

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey to spend Christmas together

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey will spend Christmas together.
The couple, who married in 2008, announced their separation earlier this year, but Nick has confirmed that won't stop him spending the festive season with his estranged wife and their three-year-old twins, daughter Monroe and son Moroccan.
Looking forward to Christmas, he said: "Gotta keep that going. I want to make sure we have a wonderful holiday together."
Asked where they would spend the big day, the 34-year-old star told In Touch: "Somewhere cold and snowy, like Aspen [Colorado].
Nick explained that his children are his number one priority and even previewed their Christmas presents, saying: "Everything I do is for them. I just want to be the best father I can possibly be.
"My son loves games, like Angry Birds, but I'm trying to keep their eyes on the educational stuff. And honestly, my daughter likes sparkly things."
Earlier this week, meanwhile, Nick denied having ever had any romance with Amber Rose.
Nick has been linked to Amber, 31, in various quarters in recent months, but he's dismissed those suggestions, telling BBC Radio 1Xtra: "I have not done a 'ting' with Amber Rose. It's the truth, it's the truth."

Johnny Depp feels ‘like a fugitive’

Johnny Depp lives "like a fugitive".
The Hollywood icon is among the most photographed people in the world, but insists he craves a more quiet life.
Johnny, 51, said: "I'm f*****g shy man.
"I'm living, in a sense, like a fugitive. I don't like to be in social situations - it's fine for me in a weird way, having to run and hide. Less and less, I have the opportunity to observe, because I'm the one being observed."
Johnny also admitted it's tough for him to disassociate himself from the character of Jack Sparrow, who he played in the 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' series.
He told Details magazine: "It's like being a dog at the track.
"They expect you to live up to some race you happened to be in and won accidentally. From that first second, you're nothing more than a commodity."
Meanwhile, Amber Heard - who is engaged to the star - thinks Johnny made a "fool" of himself at the recent Hollywood Film Awards, during which he presented an award while appearing to be drunk.
The 28-year-old beauty was said to be "unhappy" with her fiance's strange presentation at the industry event.
A source revealed to Star Magazine: "Amber couldn't believe he had made such a fool out of himself.
"This reflects really badly on her, and she's not happy about it."

Scott Disick says he hasn’t slept with Kourtney Kardashian ‘in five years’

Scott Disick has claimed he and Kourtney Kardashian "haven't slept together in five years".
The 31-year-old reality TV star made the strange statement during a new episode of 'Kourtney And Khloe Take The Hamptons', despite the fact the couple already have two children - Mason, four, and Penelope, two - and are currently expecting a third child.
Scott's irrational outburst came during an argument with Kourtney, 35, in which she asks him to give her some space following his early return from rehab, where he went after nearly overdosing on a mixture of alcohol and pills.
He said: "It became like a 24-hour job to stay trying to get drunk, and stay trying to take pills and not think about life."
In response, Kourtney explained: "I just think this is gonna be like a long road of figuring everything out."
Clearly upset by Kourtney's reply, Scott said: "How much more space do you need?
"We haven't slept together in five years. What's the difference? Honestly, though. I mean, I love you, yeah, but..."
Refusing to back down, Kourtney replied: "I don't want to just fall back into the same routine.
"Trust me, would I love to just say, 'Yes, perfect, come back?' Like, I want to make a change to make it better, you know - figure out who you even are."

Kendra Wilkinson cries over Hank Baskett’s ‘severe depression’

Kendra Wilkinson was reduced to tears because of her husband Hank Baskett's "severe depression".
The 29-year-old beauty, who married Hank in 2009 and has two children with the former American football star - Hank, four, and Alijah Mary, six months - revealed she wishes she was more supportive of her husband's battle with depression.
Asked about her life regrets, the former Playboy bunny - who is currently appearing on British reality TV show 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' - said: "The only thing I can really say is not paying attention to severe depression with my husband, I wished to god I had.
"There is such a thing as depression you know and even a big guy like you, you have to hear people's cries and I didn't.
"He came to bed so many times crying and I wasn't there for him."
The couple's relationship has come under severe strain in recent months after it was alleged that Hank, 32, had cheated on his wife with with a transsexual.
Kendra recently shared: "We're working things out. We're pretty much taking it day by day, minute by minute.
"We're just trying to really work on trust, and work on our communication, and just kind of heal from all the things that have been out there. It's been a long, hard, extremely difficult couple of months."

Katie Holmes craves ‘inspirational’ romance

Katie Holmes can't imagine living in a world without romance.
The 35-year-old actress - who was married to Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise from 2006 to 2012 - gave an interestingly cryptic answer when she was questioned on a world devoid of romance.
She responded by saying: "I seek adventure. I want to be inspired."
Katie is currently promoting her new film, 'The Giver', based on the children's novel by American author, Lois Lowry, in which she plays the mother of a young boy living in a world where only a chosen few are exposed to true pain and pleasure.
It's been speculated Katie accepted the role because her relationship with Tom - a Scientologist and father to her daughter Suri, eight - mirrors some of the themes of the film.
However, the former 'Dawson's Creek' actress has suggested she knew little about the story before reading the script.
She told Loaded magazine: "I was not familiar with the book so I read it along with the script and I thought it was a really powerful story.
"I read for it and it was a really challenging role to play because it's this utopian society, an alternative reality - there's no emotion and no pain.
"There's a great deal of security and safety but to play that as an actor is interesting because we like to emote, so that was its own challenge."

Angelina Jolie reveals her political ambitions

Angelina Jolie is open to a move into politics.
The Oscar-winning actress recently spoke of her desire to spend more time behind the camera directing movies, but she's now also confirmed she'd be keen to enter politics provided she could "make a difference".
The 39-year-old beauty, who has served as a UN High Commissioner for Refugees ambassador, told ITV News: "I've always gone wherever I felt I was needed.
"When I started working with the UN, I felt I loved working in the field and I felt I was useful in the field and then there was a point where I realised that I was only so useful in the field because someone had to go to Washington and plea the case.
"So then I would do that. I don't know what that means or where that will lead me."
Asked whether the political landscape would improve with a female US President, Angelina reflected: "I think a great leader is a great leader and I simply would not ever say that this would be better because it's a man or better because it's a woman.
"What we really need now is great leadership and I'm hoping that person rises forward."

Andy Murray gets engaged to Kim Sears

Andy Murray is engaged to his long-time girlfriend Kim Sears.
The former Wimbledon tennis champion and the 26-year-old beauty have been an item for more than nine years and their representatives have confirmed the engagement.
The couple first met at the US Open in New York in 2005 and Andy, 27, has credited much of his recent success to her unwavering support, especially after he lost the 2012 Wimbledon Final in heartbreaking fashion to Roger Federer.
Andy was preparing to appear in the International Premier Tennis League in Asia when the news was announced and he's given no indication of the news to his Twitter followers, instead writing: "Off to the Philippines for the first time today, should be a fun trip... Anyone got some suggestions for first time tourists in Manila? (sic)"
Andy is notoriously coy when talking about his relationship to the media and he caused a storm in January when he joked about plans to marry Kim during a Twitter Q&A with fans.
He tweeted: "We're getting married just after Wimbledon, should be a great day."
However, he later clarified his statement, explaining that it was just a joke.
