Lady Gaga wants to get sober "at some point" in the future.
The 'Bad Romance' singer admits she still struggles with depression and wants to stop drinking alcohol so she can learn how to relax.
She said: "I do believe that people are triggered, [that] their depression is triggered by situations. I believe that all depression stems back to anxiety and an inability to relax during tough situations. When my life got more and more stressful, it was like I was just smoking and drinking and popping anything I could do to just chill out."
Asked if she plans to embrace sobriety, she told 'The Howard Stern Show': "I think I will be at some point."
The star prefers to exercise instead of going out on the town these days.
She said: "Now I meditate...I do yoga. I use the sauna a lot. It's good for my body because the show's so physical. And I sing jazz! The jazz has been so good for my depression."
The 28-year-old singer, who also revealed that she was raped by a unidentified music producer when she was 19, says Tony Bennett helped to restore her faith in men while they were recording their recently released duets album, 'Cheek to Cheek.'
She said: "Can you imagine after all that time and after that how I was feeling, then having Tony Bennett be so loving? He's not just a father or a grandfather or an uncle--he's a friend. He's a brother. He's everything. He wants nothing from me but my talent and my friendship."
The 'Applause' hitmaker, who is dating actor Taylor Kinney, kept the sexual assault a secret until now because she doesn't want it to define her.
She said: "I'll be damned if somebody's gonna say that every creatively intelligent thing that I ever did is all boiled down to one d**khead who did that to me."

Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi's husband pleaded guilty to Driving Under the Influence (DUI) in court this morning (02.12.14).
Jionni LaValle, who married the former 'Jersey Shore' star in front of 500 guests at the Venetian banqueting hall in New Jersey on Saturday (29.11.14), was ordered to pay a $614 fine and complete 12 hours of drug and alcohol education classes stemming from his arrest on August 7 in Totowa, New Jersey at 3:30am after police officers noticed him driving erratically.
His licence was also suspended for 90 days, but two other charges against him relating to an unsafe lane change and careless driving were dismissed, according to E! News.
His court appearance comes just three days after he tied the knot with the 28-year-old reality TV star, with whom he has son Lorenzo, two, and daughter Giovanna, nine weeks.
The couple celebrated their marriage at a lavish the 'Great Gatsby'-themed bash and Snooki previously revealed they spent their first day as newlyweds hungover.
She wrote on Twitter: "Hungover with my husband. (That will not get old) getting mcdonalds and being slobs together. Waiting for walking dead tonight (sic)"
The duo started dating in October 2010 and got engaged in March 2012.

Scarlett Johansson says motherhood is "exhausting in the most wonderful way."
The 30-year-old actress, who gave birth to her first child, Rose Dorothy, with husband Romain Dauriac in September, approximately one month before the couple secretly wed in Montana, admits she is still learning the ropes, but is smitten with their daughter.
Asked about being a mother, she said: "It's exhausting in the most wonderful way. I never thought how much sleeping through the night would mean to me.
"I still lack experience. Right now I'm just trying to manage. You have to first, how should I put it, learn the ropes."
The 'Under the Skin' star thinks her daughter smells amazing.
She told Germany's Gala magazine: "She smells sweet, totally. I can't quite describe it, but it really makes you euphoric."
Meanwhile, Scarlett, who was previously married to Ryan Reynolds for three years until 2010, thinks communication is the key to a successful relationship.
She said: "I've come to the conclusion for myself that a relationship only functions if you communicate well with your partner. Listen to yourself and what you want, and listen to your partner.
"This is one thing I've learned over the years. And I've gotten better at it. Love can be difficult, but it's absolutely worth the effort."
The couple attended the IFP's 24th Gotham Independent Film Awards in Manhattan, New York City last night (01.12.14), where Scarlett was overheard introducing French journalist Romain, 32, to friends, including actress Julianne Moore, as "my husband," and proudly showed off photographs of her daughter.
A source also told UsMagazine.com: "She looked really happy."

Armie Hammer's wife has given birth to a baby girl.
The 'Lone Ranger' actor and journalist Elizabeth Chambers are "over the moon in love" with their first child, who was born in Los Angeles on Monday (01.12.14).
A spokesperson for the 28-year-old star told PEOPLE.com: "Both mom and baby are doing great."
Another insider said the couple are looking forward to introducing their bundle of joy to family members and friends.
Elizabeth, 32, previously revealed on Instagram that their baby was several days overdue.

The Rolling Stones are devastated following the death of their longtime saxophonist Bobby Keys.
The 70-year-old musician, who toured with the British rockers for more than four decades and also performed on albums with John Lennon, The Who and Eric Clapton, died at his home in Franklin, Tennessee.
In a statement on Twitter today (02.12.14), the 'Brown Sugar' hitmakers said: "The Rolling Stones are devastated by the loss of their very dear friend and legendary saxophone player, Bobby Keys. Bobby made a unique musical contribution to the band since the 1960s. He will be greatly missed."
Member Keith Richards also paid tribute to Bobby in a handwritten message posted on his Facebook page, saying: "Bobby, I have lost the largest pal in the world and I can't express the sense of sadness I feel although Bobby would tell me to cheer up. My condolences to all that knew him and his love of music."
He then shared an image of his late friend, with the caption: "Another good bye to another good friend. I will miss you, Bobby."
News of Keys' death comes less than two months after the group announced he would miss their Australian and New Zealand tour dates due to illness.
A message on their official website stated: "Due to being a bit under the weather, Bobby Keys will not be joining the Stones for the Australian and New Zealand tour dates. Bobby is under doctor's orders to take it a bit easy for the next month and hopes to see everyone soon."

Reese Witherspoon never considered herself to be "America's Sweetheart."

Bradley Cooper refused to use stimulants to help him bulk up for 'American Sniper'.
The 39-year-old actor, who has been sober since August 2004 after struggling with drugs and alcohol addiction, was forced to gain 30 pounds of muscle in a short space of time to play a Navy SEAL in the film and feared he wouldn't be able to transform his body by simply working out.
He said: "I did it naturally. Because I've been sober for 10 years and didn't want to do anything. I had a realistic conversation: Can I do this in three months naturally? Can I gain 30 pounds of f**king muscle? I didn't know if I would be able to do it or not. Thank God--luckily--my f**king body reacted fast."
Bradley also revealed the death of his father, Charles Cooper, in 2011 helped him prepare for the gruelling role.
He told the January issue of Vanity Fair magazine: "Losing someone close to me. Going through love and loss . . . knowing what's important. Realising that the bottom line is that all I got is me, so it's about time to stop trying to be something that I think you would want me to be. Or that would give me what I think I need. As you get older, thank God, your body deteriorates, but your soul sort of flourishes."

She said: "To me, nudity is not something to be ashamed of. I'm not embarrassed of my body. I'm at my best when I'm pregnant."

Asked how she thinks people will react to the images, she said: "I don't know. It's what a woman's body is made to do, so I hope it's maybe seen as something that's artistic.

The 28-year-old singer, who is dating actor Taylor Kinney, admits she "went through some horrific things" when she was 19 and relied on "a lot of mental and physical therapy" to help her to heal.
When asked if she was raped by a music producer while discussing her song, 'Swine,' the singer initially told 'The Howard Stern Show': "I don't...I don't want to... Happy times! Let's talk about happy things!"
But when the radio host pressed her on the issue, she said: "I went through some horrific things that I'm able to laugh [at] now, because I've gone through a lot of mental and physical therapy and emotional therapy to heal over the years. My music's been wonderful for me. But, you know, I was a shell of my former self at one point. I was not myself. To be fair, I was about 19. I went to Catholic school and then all this crazy stuff happened, and I was going, 'Oh, is this just the way adults are?'...I was very naive."
Asked if she ever confronted the guy, who was 20 years older than her, she said: "I think it would terrify me. It would paralyse me. I saw him one time in a store and I was so paralysed by fear. Because it wasn't until I was a little bit older that I went, 'Wow, that was really messed up.' "
The blonde beauty didn't tell anybody about the incident at the time, but eventually decided to seek help.
She said: "I don't know what I was thinking. I didn't tell anybody. And I didn't even tell myself for the longest time. And then I was like, 'You know what? All this drinking and all this nonsense, you have to go to the source, otherwise it just won't go away. It will not go away."

Peter Jackson suffered endless nightmares while making 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies'.
The award-winning film-maker admits the intense pressure of creating a big Hollywood movie causes him to suffer unpleasant dreams - but he insists they disappear as soon as filming finishes.
Speaking at the London press conference for the new film - which features Orlando Bloom and Martin Freeman - earlier today (02.12.14), the 53-year-old director shared: "Every time I make a movie, the first day I start shooting, I start having a recurring nightmare every single night. I'm lying in bed and there's a film crew surrounding the bed, waiting for me to tell them what to do. And I don't quite know what movie I'm actually making.
"I'm not sure... I don't even think there's a script and they're all there wanting to have information from me. I'm in bed - I'm tired, I'm exhausted and I can barely think straight.
"This is the truth: that nightmare starts on the clock, every night, on the first day of shooting and goes through until the last day of shooting.Then it stops. It's hell. But it stops, it does stop."
What's more, Peter reaffirmed his position that he won't be making any more films based on the books by J. R. R. Tolkien, explaining that there are legals issues preventing him from doing so.
He said: "The Tolkien estate owns the writings of Professor Tolkien - 'The Hobbit' and the 'Lord of the Rings' were sold by Professor Tolkien in the late 60s. So they are the only two works of his that have ever been sold.
"Without the co-operation of the Tolkien estate, there can't be more films."
