Dermot O’Leary hates X Factor sob stories

Dermot O'Leary hates listening to sob stories on 'The X Factor'.
The 41-year-old presenter, who is preparing to host this year's National Television Awards, has revealed he gets emotional when filming the show, but not because of the sob stories of the contestants.
He told The Sun newspaper: "It's not the sob stories. I hate the sob-story route so I'm proud that we didn't go down it last year and I sincerely hope we never do it again.
"But emotions do get heightened and the more you get to know the contestants - especially at Boot Camp - the more you care about them.
"I always cry when I'm tired. That's when little things can set me off. Someone will say: 'I miss my dog' and I'll be bawling: 'I miss my cat!' It's ridiculous."
The 'X Factor' host is nominated for Best Entertainment Presenter at the National Television Awards, but says he doesn't expect to win, predicting Ant and Dec will take the award home.
He explained: "Me, Keith Lemon and Bradley Walsh might as well give it to them now. In fact, there should be an award about who's going to be a runner-up to Ant and Dec."

Selena Gomez sees psychic for heartache

Selena Gomez has turned to a psychic to help her get over Justin Bieber.
The 22-year-old singer finally split from the Canadian heartthrob in October after more than four years of on/off dating and has decided to sit down with a clairvoyant in a bid to heal her broken heart after.
A source told America's OK! magazine: "Selena said the psychic was incredible. They did a lot of tarot and angel card readings, and now they have sessions every week."
Selena, who was recently spotted holiday hands with music producer and DJ Zedd at a Golden Globes after-party, was overjoyed when the psychic predicted she would find love again.
The source added: "The psychic says Selena will have a new man by the summer!"
The 'Rudderless' star previously admitted she will always have feeling for Justin, despite their turbulent romance.
She said: "I support him. I think I always will. I'm upset when he's upset, I'm happy when he's happy. I don't want anything to ever happen to him bad. It hurts me. That's all."

Louis Tomlinson ‘makes plans to become a music boss’

Louis Tomlinson is set to follow Simon Cowell into the entertainment business.
The 23-year-old singer, who stars in One Direction alongside bandmates Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan, has set up a new company called 78 Productions Limited and has started following unsigned bands on Twitter, prompting speculation he is on the lookout for new talent.
A music industry source told The Sun newspaper: "Louis spent a lot of time backstage at The X Factor last year, partly so he could spend time with Simon and get to know how the industry works."
Louis and bandmate Liam, 21, spotted the potential of fellow boyband 5 Seconds of Summer and invited them to support 1D on tour.
As a result, all of 1D now own a stake in 5SOS, who were recently nominated for a Brit award.
Earlier this month, meanwhile, One Direction confirmed they have started recording their next album.
The future of the five-piece band has been the source of much speculation in recent months, but they have now headed into the studio to begin work on their fifth record.
A source revealed: "There has been a bit of a question about the timing of the fifth album but there was never any doubt it would be released, despite the ridiculous speculation."

Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin are ‘into each other’

Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin are "totally into each other".
The couple, who split in October last year, were spotted on a date at Madeo in Los Angeles on Thursday night (15.01.15) and an eyewitness has claimed that the 24-year-old 'Hunger Games' actress and the Coldplay singer, 37, were constantly "laughing and giggling" throughout their dinner date at the Italian eatery.
A source told the New York Post's Page Six column: "They were totally into each other. The romance is on for sure."
Their date came shortly after Chris' estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow insisted she doesn't have "an issue" with his new girlfriend.
The 42-year-old actress said she isn't bothered that her husband, with whom she has daughter Apple, 10, and son Moses, eight, is now dating the 'Hunger Games' star.
When asked about their relationship, Gwyneth told Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show: "Who says I don't approve [of Jennifer Lawrence]? Why not? Why is it going to be an issue? I respect him as the father of my children...It's his life and it's his decision... and I do think that he loves the kids so much and I don't think that he wouldn't be with someone who isn't great. And if I'm wrong, I'll come back here and tell you."

Jessie J has a misspelled tattoo

Jessie J has a tattoo that features a spelling error.
The 'Bang Bang' hitmaker, who has the tattoo on her right hip, has revealed she only discovered the mistake when her mum pointed it out to her.
The 26-year-old singer explained: "I did it ages ago and had 'Don't lose who you are in the blur of the star!' tattooed on my side.
"Not long after I had it done my mum said to me in tears, 'I don't know how to tell you this but it is spelt wrong.'
"I have 'Don't loose who you are in the blur of the stars!' It's really big, which is awful."
Jessie explained that she's so embarrassed by her tattoo she wears high-waisted clothing in an effort to conceal it.
She told 'The Graham Norton Show': "It's the reason I always wear high waisted stuff. I'm not going to put a spelling mistake that close to a camera.
"I'm going to get it covered and I'm not having any more tattoos."
Jessie has a number of other smaller tattoos, including the phrase 'Stand Up' inked on her wrist.

Noel Gallagher banned from Oasis reunion by Paul Weller

Paul Weller has banned Noel Gallagher from reforming Oasis.
The 'Changingman' hitmaker has warned his pal - who he lives opposite - their friendship will be over if he ever goes back to his former group, which split in 2009, and the 'Ballad of the Mighty I' has taken his threats so seriously, he thinks he would have to move house if the much-speculated reunion actually happened.
Noel said: "He threatens that if I ever go back in Oasis that'll be it between us. He always says, 'You f**ing heard all these f***ing things about your f***ing reunion? And I'm like, 'Yeah I know', and he goes, 'You're not f***ing doing it?' and I'm like, 'No' and he's going, 'Good good good.'
"Basically, if Oasis ever did get back together, which is highly unlikely, I'd have to leave London and move back to Manchester because he'd put my f***ing windows in."
The former Jam singer insists Noel doesn't "need" to return to Oasis because his solo career is going so well and said he is "bored stiff" with bands getting back together for "nostalgia" reasons.
Weller told NME magazine: "Why would he need to? He's flying at the moment. I don't think he needs to.
"There's always exceptions but generally I'm f***ing bored stiff of reunions. I know it's popular with people but I don't get it - I don't get the whole nostalgia thing. It's just become a business hasn't it?"

Emma Stone’s career uncertainity

Emma Stone doesn't know how long her career will last.
The 'Birdman' actress - who is currently starring in 'Cabaret' on Broadway - feels "very lucky" for the "incredible" opportunities she has been given but sometimes feels "overwhelmed" because she is trying to challenge herself as much as possible.
She said: "It's been wonderful but it's also challenging and I'm going into places that I've never really allowed myself to go before with 'Birdman' and 'Cabaret'.
"I feel very lucky that I'm getting the opportunity to do it and I don't know how long that opportunity will last - I'm trying to learn as much as I possibly can in this time.
"It's been incredible but also slightly overwhelming at times just because it's so different to anything I've done before."
The 'Easy A' star also feels "very lucky" because she knew she wanted to be an actress when she was just 11 years old.
She told Psychologies magazine: "I'm from Phoenix, Arizona and it was a nice place to grow up. There was a great youth theatre where I got to do improvisation at a very young age. I was 11 when I started doing improv - and learning where your passion lies at just that age, well, I was just very lucky.
"I think I knew I wanted to act when I was seven and in my first school play."

Beyonce’s relationship ‘bucket list’

Beyonce and Jay Z are planning to have flying lessons, go bungee jumping in New Zealand and trek the Inca Trail.
The couple - whose marriage was the subject of much scrutiny last year - has reportedly come up with a "bucket list" for their relationship in a bid to stop prioritising their career.
A source said: "The two of them have worked so relentlessly and fee that they've neglected their personal lives and that the marriage suffered as a result.
"The bucket lists they've drawn up are all about wrestling back a really healthy work-life balance, rather than working non-stop on touring and recording new material, as they did last year."
Over the festive season, the couple and their daughter Blue Ivy, three, visited Iceland, Thailand and Cambodia and travelling more for pleasure is said to be part of the plan they drew up together.
The source told Britain's Grazia magazine: "They sat down together and drew up a huge list of places they will visit together and goals they'd like to work towards over the next 12 months.
"Beyonce wanted to go to Iceland and Jay has always wanted to see Angkor Wat in Cambodia, so they went off and did both.
"They've decided that getting quality time in as a couple is the key to a happy marriage, and that if they're planning fun things to do that they've never done before, it'll keep things fresh and exciting.
"The difference in how they're interacting together is huge. They're like a couple of excited teenagers again."

Heidi Klum’s boyfriend wants to wed

Heidi Klum's boyfriend wants to get married.
The 41-year-old model has been dating 28-year-old Vito Schnabel since last February and while he is reportedly keen to take their relationship to the next level, the German beauty - who split from husband Seal in 2012 - is not so keen.
A source told heat magazine: "They live together but Vito would love to move it to the next level.
"He's getting to the age where he is ready for marriage, but Heidi is just not ready to commit. She isn't keen on getting married again after her divorce from Seal."
According to the insider, Heidi - who raises kids Leni, 10, Henry, nine, Johan, eight, and Lou, five, with her ex-husband - is "pretty much done" having children and is happy with her relationship the way it is.
The source added: "The kids love Vito, Seal gets along with him and, above all, if it does go wrong, she doesn't want to put the family through another divorce."
While Heidi is reluctant to tie the knot, she has reportedly discussed the possibility with her former spouse.
A source said recently: "Heidi speaks to Seal most days and still refers to him as her best friend. She's even discussed the idea of marrying Vito with Seal and he's given his blessing."

Lena Dunham taking piano lessons

Lena Dunham is taking piano lessons.
The 'Girls' creator-and-star has decided to learn to play the instrument after being musically inspired by her Fun. guitarist boyfriend Jack Antonoff and close friend Taylor Swift.
The 28-year-old actress said: "I don't have any secret talents. Any bit of talent I have I pour into my job. But we just got a piano in our house, so I'm going to take a lesson every two weeks.
"I will practice! The lesson is every other week."
Lena also wants to get a secret talent because her 'Girls' castmates, Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke and Zosia Mamet, are all very good at other things aside from acting.
She told PEOPLE: "Allison's (secret talent) is singing, and we wrote it in. Zosia is very good at accents and impressions. Jem's an amazing twerker, like, Nicki Minaj 'Anaconda' video butt talent!"
Lena feels very close to her co-stars and insists they have a "sisterly" bond with one another.
She said: "We're really good friends. We have a deep sisterly connection formed by work, and we'll never not know each other.
"We hang out. We eat snacks and look at clothes on the internet."

Kym Marsh ‘shocked’ Coronation Street only up for one NTA

Kym Marsh is "shocked" 'Coronation Street' is only up for one National Television Award.
The 38-year-old actress - who plays Michelle Connor on the soap - insists claims show bosses were "seething" at the snub are not accurate but she admitted she feels the show deserved more recognition.
She said: "According to a report, 'Coronation Street' bosses are seething over our lack of National TV Awards nominations, only being up for Best Serial Drama later this month.
"I wouldn't say anyone is seething, but I am personally a little shocked. However, last year we took everything! It's swings and roundabouts, no one's crying into their tea in the Green Room about it...
"People think there's more of a rivalry between soaps than there is - we do watch them and appreciate how hard everyone works."
Despite her shock, Kym insists awards don't really matter.
She said: "Awards are nice, but day to day it's about ratings and we're a very consistent soap."
And the brunette star is confident the soap's storylines will continue to win acclaim in the future.
She added to OK! magazine: "Although the Steve McDonald [Simon Gregson] depression storyline has been really well received, it was probably a bit late for the voting, so maybe it will get something another time."

Blake Lively was ‘meant to be a mother’

Michelle Trachtenberg thinks Blake Lively was "definitely meant to be a mother."
The 29-year-old actress says her former 'Gossip Girl' star, who welcomed a baby girl into the world with husband Ryan Reynolds last month, was always "maternal" towards her cast-mates on the set of the series.
Asked about the blonde beauty's new bundle of joy, she said: "I think throughout my many years with Blake she has always exuded charm and exquisite elegance and a maternal side. So I think she's definitely meant to be a mother."
Michelle also told E! News she has no doubt that the 27-year-old actress' daughter is a good-looking baby.
Blake recently admitted becoming a mother felt very natural.
The 'Savages' star said: "I always felt like a mama...
"I don't feel like it's a massive change."
She also revealed she is already planning to have another baby.
She said: "I do want to just enjoy this moment. But I also feel like my first child is going to be the oldest sibling to the next kid, and that may change with each and every year.
"I'm looking forward to how one baby influences the other, and to my family as a whole, to every single chapter."
