Orlando Bloom feels ‘a deep love’ for Miranda Kerr

Orlando Bloom still feels "a deep love" for Miranda Kerr.

The British actor split from the Australian supermodel, 30, in October after three years of marriage because they wanted different things "from our lives, our work," but he will always respect her, as he wants their three-year-old son, Flynn, to feel secure.

Asked about the current state of their relationship, the 37-year-old star told the UK’s The Times Magazine: "It’s ever evolving, but I’ve said to her, ‘We’re going to be in each other’s lives for the rest of our lives and we have a child, so it’s important to me that we respect each other as we always have and that Flynn feels that and understands that. There’s a deep love between us."

The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ hunk insisted their split was "amicable," adding there was "no wrongdoing on either side – no harm, no foul."

Orlando and Miranda are currently raising Flynn in New York City but he would like his son to experience "living at home, in England."

He added: "I’ve lived a very nomadic life, which I enjoy. But now that I have my son it gets a lot more serious – I want to be in his life and have as much input and influence on his life as I can."

The ‘Lord of the Rings’ star found fame very unsettling when he was younger and finally feels excited about his career again.

He recalled: "[It was] jarring, quite paralysing, when I was younger. I spent about three years with a hat on trying to not be because my life felt very exposed.

"After a period of feeling a little rudderless, I feel like I’ve set a course again. I feel like I’m very much at the beginning of something."
