The 1975 have quashed split rumours by announcing a new tour and album.
The 'Chocolate' hitmakers sparked speculation they had broken up after posting a cryptic message on Twitter earlier this week saying "we are already gone" before deactivating their social media accounts, but have now returned by saying they are working on their second LP.
In a letter posted to the group's reactivated Twitter account, frontman Matt Healy wrote: "The 1975 are currently in production of our second full length record. Its creation signifies the end of the most inspiring and challenging time that we've ever shared as friends and as artists."
The band - also featuring Adam Hann, George Daniel, and Ross MacDonald - gained celebrity fans in Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez after the release of their eponymous debut in 2013, and said the positive reaction to the record has inspired them to start "a new chapter".
He continued: "We simply couldn't have imagined connecting with as many people as we have since the release of our debut in 2013.This is the beginning of a new chapter for The 1975. Our new record signifies the start of a new world for us."
In the note, the group also announced a 16-date UK tour for November 2015, adding they are excited to get back on the road playing "HUGE shows (sic)".
They wrote: "We want to play shows, we want a real shared experience, we want to play HUGE shows that we never thought were possible, and we want to play festivals that people talk about for ages 'cos it was fun and it was music and the weather was perfect, and we want to be honest otherwise what's the f**king point? (sic)."

Emily Eavis claims Glastonbury's 2016 headliners are "pretty much booked up".
The co-organiser of the festival has revealed they are well on the way to completing the line-up for the annual event next year, despite the fact the 2015 edition has not yet happened.
She said: "We've been getting calls about next year's bands and in particular the headline slots. As there's only three headliners on the Pyramid Stage, we're pretty much booked up for next year.
"I think people start booking [festival acts] really early these days. Festivals are so much beyond the main stages, but we work on [the bookings] all year, always coming up with new ideas and ways to make it better."
The news comes a day after the full line-up and stage times were announced for the festival in the west of England - which will run from 24 - 28 June - which will be headlined by Foo Fighters, Kanye West and The Who.
And although some festival-goers have complained about some of their favourite artists clashing at the event, Emily said they tried their best not to disappoint but it's "always hard" to please everyone.
Speaking to Lauren Laverne on BBC 6 Music, Emily said: "We're always making sure things don't clash. We're trying to tweak things so things with similar audiences don't clash too much. But obviously on this scale it's always hard to get things perfectly plain sailing."

Little Mix "dream" of working with Nicki Minaj.
The 'Wings' hitmakers - who have teamed up with both Jessie J and Jess Glynne for tracks on their forthcoming new album - are hoping they can find the right song on which to record with the 'Starships' singer.
Jade Thirlwall said: "We'd always wanted to work with Jessie J, but we'd never found the right time before. We really, really want to get Nicki Minaj on a track."
Her bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock added: "That's literally the dream. We say it all the time: we want a collaboration with Nicki. But it's about getting the right track, and obviously we do the album and then we go back and see what could use a feature. This album is open to suggestions."
The group - which also includes Jesy Nelson and Perrie Edwards - think their new album has "more personality" than their previous efforts and a much more "pop" sound.
Jade said: "Yeah album three is a lot more pop. It's more fun, and has more personality, I would say. We always say that if you put us four girls in a room for hours chatting away, that's what the album is. It's very real to what we would say and the little things we do. I feel like it's our strongest album yet."
While the quartet are delighted with their success so far, they have now set their sights on making a global name for themselves.
Jade told Digital Spy: "We've done so well so far and we are successful, but we just want that big song that explodes everywhere. It's about time that happened - especially in America and all over the world really. The UK have seen us be successful now, and it's just about taking that everywhere else. Representing Britain!"

Florence + the Machine think it would be "wonderful" to headline Glastonbury.
The 28-year-old singer admitted she's secretly relieved her band are not headlining the iconic festival this year, following several rumours they would be, but said she would love to top the bill at some point in the future.
She said: "I think I'm quite happy with where we are.
"It would be wonderful to headline, but also I don't know how I'd be dealing with that right now."
The 'Say My Name' hitmaker - whose third studio album 'How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful' is out this week - said the pressure would be particularly bad if they were headlining, having recently broken her foot at Coachella festival in California, but still insisted "anything could happen" when she performs on the Pyramid Stage.
She told the latest issue of NME magazine: "I'm not really planning what's going to happen at Glastonbury, because I just don't know. It's almost quite hard for me to remember gigs sometimes, because I just don't know what happens. It's almost as if something else completely takes over. So if I'm back in fully charged feet mode, I'm nervous for what's going to happen. It's this sense that anything could happen."
Florence's comments follow a criticism of the festival from The Vaccines, who said the 'Ship to Wreck' singer should have been a headliner because there aren't enough festivals putting women at the top of line-ups.
Frontman Justin Young told Digital Spy: "I would've had Florence headline.
"I know she's playing anyway, but people are complaining about the lack of women at the top of festival bills and the lack of new artists.
"There's a great artist who's huge as well and progressing in more than one sense of the word. Whether that's your thing or not I think it would've been a really big statement if Glastonbury put her at the top of the bill."

G.R.L. have split up.
The girl group's management and record label has confirmed the band, made up of Paula Van Oppen, Natasha Slayton, Lauren Bennett and Emmalyn Estrada, have disbanded nine months after the untimely death of member Simone Battle.
A statement from their labels Kemosabe Records and RCA Records, their manager Larry Rudolph and choreographer Robin Antin said: "Nearly 9 months following the tragic death of band member Simone Battle, girl group G.R.L. announces today that they are disbanding.
"We wish them continued success in each of their next creative endeavours."
Simone passed away after committing suicide in September aged 25, although the girls had previously vowed they would stay together following the tragedy.
Lauren said in January: "There was never a question that we weren't going to break up. We didn't know what was going to happen - we really didn't even think about it. We just got back together and just continued to do what we're doing today, to stay close, and that's just how it is. That's where we are now."
She has since taken to Twitter to thank the band's fans for their support, writing: "Thank u all for ridin with GRL thru the tough times.. I know it's all a bit confusing but I love you all, and care never forget.(sic)"

Zedd has blasted electronic dance music for being "boring".
The musician - who recently split from singer Selena Gomez - has confessed he finds the music that brought him success in the charts to be uninspiring and he is ultimately "bored of it".
He said: "To be completely honest, I'm not very inspired by EDM at all. I have a really hard time listening to EDM and being like, "Wow, that's really inspiring, I want to do something like that."
The 25-year-old DJ - whose real name is Anton Zaslavski - collaborated with singer Foxes to create chart-topping EDM single 'Clarity in 2013 and has since produced the dance hit 'Break Free' for Ariana Grande, but insists he prefers to listen to bands such as Beatles to give him direction for his future music.
When quizzed about what influences his writing style, he revealed: "I'm way more inspired listening to, song-structure-wise, the Beatles. The Beatles have never stretched things unnecessarily if it didn't help the song.
"[In] dance music, you will sometimes find those structure of, like, a one-minute intro. And, like, why do you need a one-minute intro? That's not necessary at all. I kind of went about it in a very Beatles way. Or Queen is a huge influence for me. Bands like Silverchair and Radiohead. Feeder, Queens of the Stone Age."
And now he is distancing himself from electronic music, he admitted his next collection could be entirely different as it's "very well possible" he could release an acoustic record.
He told Rolling Stone magazine: "It's boring to stay the same. I can't make 'Clarity' 10 times. I'm bored of it; I made it once and I want to move on. It's important for me that my fans know I'm Zedd the musician, not Zedd the EDM DJ. And if I decide to make an acoustic album next time, which is very well possible, that's still me. My heart is in there. It doesn't mean that sonically the sound will be the same."

Foxes has broken the world record for the most live concerts performed in 12 hours in different cities.
The 26-year-old singer - whose real name is Louisa Rose Allen - has made her way into the Guinness World Records book for the string of shows, which she undertook to raise money for cancer charity Trekstock.
The series of seven gigs kicked off at the University of Southampton Students' Union, before she headed to, Brighton, Guildford, Reading, Oxford, High Wycombe and London, travelling between venues in the new Citroën C1, which she claims has encouraged her to pass her driving test.
After breaking the record, she said: "It's been amazing to see this challenge through to the finishing line. It's been a long day, but I'm so excited to be able to say that I'm now a Guinness World Records title holder. I'd like to say a huge thanks to Citroën and my team for making this become a reality. After taking the New C1 from 'C1ty to C1ty', I'm more determined than ever to pass my driving test and get out on the open road."
She also tweeted: "ONLY WENT AND DID IT!!!!!!#C1tytoC1ty one of those wtf moments. Guinness World record done (sic)."
In order to make it into the record books, the 'C1ty to C1ty' shows had to be located a minimum of 50km apart, with each performance lasting at leas 15 minutes.
During her sets, the Grammy Award winner sang fan favourites including 'Youth', 'Glorious' and 'Let Go For Tonight', and was supported by a different up-and-coming act at each venue.

Muse will headline Lollapalooza Berlin.
The British alternative rockers - fronted by Matt Bellamy - are the final band to have been added to this year's festival, which takes place from 12 - 15 September.
The 'Supermassive Black Hole' hitmakers have played the festival - which takes place at what used to be, Tempelhof, Airport - several times before and will return to play a set, including songs from their latest LP 'Drones'.
The collection is the band's first since 2012's 'The 2nd Law', and he recently revealed he believes it's their best album so far, admitting, "That's not something I've been able to say for a while."
Their performance is noted as the only chance for German fans to see the Grammy Award winning band this year.
The premium European music event, completes its line-up with the final additions of former Jane's Addiction frontman, Perry Farrell, who will DJ at the festival, and house music gods The 2 Bears.
Hot Chip and Joywave - who recently supported Brandon Flowers - were also included in the final line-up.
Previously announced headliners, include The Libertines and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis alongside the likes of Chvrches, Bastille, Fatboy Slim and Stereophonics.
