Noel Gallagher: One Direction only have five years left

Noel Gallagher believes One Direction only have "five years left".
The 47-year-old star has confessed he can't understand why Zayn Malik chose to quit the band to live a "normal life" when he thinks he'd have been able to do that soon enough anyway.
He said: "I can't understand why he would do it - because they've only got, at most, five years left."
Noel added he thinks Zayn should have stuck it out with his bandmates - Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson - if only to line his pockets for a few more years.
Speaking to James Corden on 'The Late, Late Show', the former Oasis rocker added: "He should just stand at the back, smoke weed, get laid, just pick the cheque up and go home. But he should get himself a good accountant."
The 'Wonderwall' hitmaker's comments come after he said Zayn was "strange" for quitting the band and predicted he won't be the "normal" guy he wants to be in a few years' time.
He said previously: "It's a strange thing for that lad to have done at that age. The greatest quote was - I laughed out loud when I read it, 'I just want to be a normal 22-year-old'. Pfft. Who wants to be a normal 22-year-old?! Hang on a minute. You can be f**king anything that moves and getting paid half a million dollars a week, you f**king idiot. You want to be a normal 22-year-old? Have you met any normal 22-year-olds? They're s**t for brains. What are you talking about, you idiot? God. All those young Japanese girls s***ing me c**k. So shallow and meaningless. I'll say this to you, Zayn, You might have wanted to be a normal 22 year old, but you won't want to be a normal 25 year old!"
Noel's younger brother and former Oasis bandmate Liam Gallagher later jumped to the defence of Zayn and his former bandmates.
He wrote on Twitter: "Hey NG leave those 1d kids alone LG x ... Just coz you have a SAXAPHONE on your new record and you think your all Pink Floyd LG x ... Everybody knows your just another Pr**k in the wall LG x (sic)."

Iggy Azalea cancelled tour due to ‘creative change of heart’

Iggy Azalea cancelled her 'Great Escape tour because of a "creative change of heart".
The 24-year-old rapper axed the string of shows over the weekend, having previously postponed the tour, and has revealed a number of factors contributed to the decision including the fact she wants to get started on something "totally anew".
She said: "I've had a different creative change of heart. I want to start totally anew, and if I stayed on my tour, that would mean I wouldn't even be able to start working on that until after Christmas."
The 'Fancy' hitmaker - who released her debut record 'The New Classic' last year - explained her hectic schedule was another reason behind the choice, insisting she is in desperate need of a break having had very little free time for the past two years.
She continued: "On top of that, mentally, to be honest with you, I just feel I deserve a break. I've been going non-stop for the past two years, nearly every single day. I'm not in a bad place. I think sometimes when you say you need a mental break, people are like, 'A mental break? Be sure you don't have a breakdown because you're sad.' No, not necessarily. It's very emotionally draining to be on all the time and going all the time, planning all the time. It's a lot, and it's tough. I need a break from everything to just enjoy what I worked so hard for, and I don't really feel like I've had a chance to do that."
Eventually, Iggy said she made the difficult decision because there were "so many things" stopping her from doing it, including the fact she struggled to find any opening acts to support her on the tour.
She told Seventeen magazine: "It just seemed like it was so many things pointing me in the direction of not doing [the tour], that I finally thought, when enough things come your way, you can't ignore the signs. It's not easy to decide that the best thing to do is cancel a tour, but that's the best thing for me. I don't want to disappoint fans. I feel really bad. It was a tough decision to make, but it was the best thing."

Lionel Richie aimed to ‘make love to every girl in the world’

Lionel Richie decided to "make love to every girl in the world" when he started out in music.
The 'Hello' singer began touring with funk-soul group the Commodores as a youngster, and revealed they all attempted to bed as many women as possible as they travelled around the world.
He said: "When the touring [with the Commodores] started we knew we were gonna do a hundred shows in as many cities, maybe more, in a year. So we decided: we're gonna make love to every girl in the world. That was our mission statement."
The singer, now 65, insisted he kept score of the thousands of women he slept with during the period, which would sometimes be three each day, but revealed it occasionally got too much for him because he still needed the stamina to perform.
He explained: "We all kept score, yeah. We were college guys, so we liked stats. And when you start out, it's madness: there's one in the morning, one in the afternoon, one in the evening. It's great. You're killing it. But all of a sudden you get to the fifth show and you're, like: Everybody get out of my room! You can't do it. I don't care whether you're 19 and sexually possessed - you can't do that and put on high-heeled boots and run across the stage every night."
However, Lionel - who divorced his second wife Diane Alexander in 2004 - said the pressure of performing and seducing women eventually turned him onto drugs.
He continued: "That's why drugs became so inviting: because you get a hit of this, and it gives you the stamina. But how long does it last? And then you're in rehab, and what kind of b******t is that? Or you're falling down on stage and passing out halfway through the show."
And although he enjoyed a promiscuous time in his younger years, he insisted this soon ended when he got scared about fathering children with women he didn't know.
He told GQ magazine: "It wasn't the sex and it wasn't the drugs. It was... babies. Holy s**t! The first time you get that phone call when someone says... hey, guess what? That's called fear, shock and awe. That's when I realised the gun was loaded, you know what I'm saying?"

Olivia Somerlyn keen to team up with Nick Jonas again

Olivia Somerlyn is eager to collaborate with Nick Jonas again.
The pop star wrote 'Parachute' - which topped the Billboard Dance Club chart on release - with the hunk, and revealed she is keen to write another song with him, but is waiting for their schedules to "align" so they can meet up again.
She told BANG Showbiz: "I've talked to Nick about working together and we definitely want to. It was so quick and he of course is so busy now because he is doing so well. It's hard for our schedules to align but hopefully we will together again soon."
The 20-year-old musician - who has toured with the likes of Meghan Trainor, Jessie J and Jonas Brothers - admitted she loved working with the 'Jealous' hitmaker because she found it interesting seeing how he created the track.
She said: "He is so talented, it's really cool to see his process and how he goes about writing and producing, because he also produced the song."
And she continued to say she particularly relished the song writing opportunity because she was such a big fan of the Jonas Brothers - Nick's former band with brothers Joe and Kevin - when she was younger.
She added: "He is so great. I've always been a really big fan of the Jonas Brothers and especially Nick and his song writing ability when he was writing for the band and for himself. He is so talented. Even when I was a fan before I had met them, I'd always wanted to write a song with him that was one of my dreams."

Conor Maynard wants to collaborate with John Mayer

Conor Maynard wants to collaborate with John Mayer.
The 22-year-old star - who shot to fame with his UK top five single 'Can't Say No' - has worked with a number of artists including Ne-Yo but insists Mayer is at the top of his list of people he'd like to make music with.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "If I got to do a track with John Mayer, that would be my favourite person to work with. I think he's someone that people wouldn't expect."
The 'Turn Around' singer is proud of the names he's had feature on his tracks so far though.
Speaking about his new album, he shared: "I've been able to work with some amazing people on there. I've got Labyrinth on the new single 'Royalty'. Craig David did some stuff with me."
The star had been a long time fan of both stars but was intimidated when first meeting Craig.
He explained: "When I first met him I thought, 'Is he going to sing or beat me up?' His body is crazy, which is mad because he parties really hard as well."
However, Conor is now keeping his future collaborations under wraps although he's rumoured to have worked with Timbaland and Travie McCoy on songs for his new album.
The 'Vegas Girl' singer added: "There are no kind of set in stone collaborations. My first album was a lot but with this I kind of want to step back from that and make it more about myself."
Conor Maynard will be playing at Thorpe Park's Island Beats on 21 August. Island Beats runs from 11 July - 29 August and for more information and to book tickets go to www.thorpepark.com

Kate Moss missed out on house hit

Kate Moss missed out on having a house music hit to Chrissie Hynde.
The supermodel was wanted by record label Sony UK to sing vocals on 2003 track 'Straight Ahead', by German Electronica duo Tube & Berger.
The track subsequently reached number one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Airplay and 29th spot on the UK Singles Chart but had The Pretenders frontwoman Chrissie on it instead.
Speaking to Bang Showbiz at We Are FSTVL on the weekend, Arndt Rörig - one half of Tube & Berger - recalled: "It was the first single we ever made. We were assistants in a sound studio back in the days and we came up with this demo tune and the guy said 'that's great'. But it was kind of like an underground hit in Germany. Then Sony UK picked it and said, 'But we need a top vocalist on it.' They tried to have Blondie and Kate Moss ... in the end it was Chrissie Hynde."
Although they were a little disappointed not to get Kate on the track, they were thrilled to get to able to work with Chrissie in the studio and hear all of her rock 'n' anecdotes.
He added: "We met Chrissie and she told us about hanging out with The Ramones, and super cool old school bands. She was really, really cool. She knows the Sex Pistols and all these British punk bands. We haven't met for ages so it would be nice to see her again and say hi."
Tube & Berger - Arndt and Marco Vidovic - have enjoyed multiple number ones on the UK Beatport chart, including 'Lovebreak', 'Come On Now (Set It Off)' and 'Imprint of Pleasure' - with Beatport naming the latter as their 9th Top Selling Track of All Time and the 7th Top DJ Charted Track of All Time.
The pair recently headlined at Drifters Festival on Osea Island - an exclusive festival attended by the likes of Poppy Delevigne and Jamie Winstone.
Meanwhile, Arndt revealed that they often bring family along with them on tour, including Marco's 10-month-old baby.
He said: "She was in Ibiza a few times. She went to Bali and she travels a lot for a 10 month old baby."
Arndt added that he is impressed with the UK crowd and likes their "funky" dress sense.
He said: "British fans are wild! Compared to Germany the dress is a bit more funky, people like to party hard here and that's what we love. It's funny to look at sometimes!"

Emeli Sandé has teased a new song 'Don't Fight The Bullet' on Instagram.
The 28-year-old Scottish songstress has bitten the bullet and released a video clip of her singing the track, before officially releasing a recorded version.
The 'Read All About It' hitmaker posted the video over the weekend alongside a caption, which read: "Here's the whole song! This is not a single or anything official just really wanted to share this with you all. Hope you enjoy it x (sic)"
Emeli - who was first brought to our attention by producer Naughty Boy, when she featured on his song 'Wounded' - hasn't released any new solo material since her critically acclaimed 2012 debut LP, 'Our Version Of Events', and the singles taken from that LP.
Although she has been working on her new album for the past several months she delayed the release until later this year.

The song's lyrics include: "We're in the same old boat everyone. don't fight the bullet. fight the gun ... We're all out here on the run so don't fight the bullet fight the gun."
Emeli's last release was as a featured artist on David Guetta's single 'What I Did for Love'.
