Noel Gallagher is "really ahead" with his next album.
The 48-year-old rocker only released his band Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' second LP 'Chasing Yesterday' nine months ago but he hasn't got time to sit back and admire its success as he's admitted he has already started penning tracks for the follow-up collection.
He said: "I'm really ahead with the next album. It's really f***ing annoying me at the minute because I've got this tune that I can't get out of my head."
And it seems one instrument that's already worked its way onto the next album is the saxophone, which was used on the second collection, much to the frontman's annoyance.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, he explained: "I'm writing songs at the minute and I keep hearing saxophones everywhere. The only thing that's bugging me now is that I may never get rid of them."
Meanwhile, although he's remaining tight-lipped on the details surrounding the new album, Noel recently sparked speculation he is working with Jamie xx on some tracks.
After saying he's collaborating with a "mystery producer", he was questioned on whether it was the 26-year-old DJ, to which he replied: "Did you just say Jamie xx? Yeah, well, no comment. I can tell you it's not f**king Timbaland, or Jay Z."

Foo Fighters have cancelled their European tour.
The American rock band - consisting of Dave Grohl, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, Nate Mendel and Taylor Hawkins - have been forced to axe their four remaining gigs following the tragic terrorist attacks in Paris, France, last Friday.
Writing in a statement, the rockers said: "It is with profound sadness and heartfelt concern for everyone in Paris that we have been forced to announce the cancellation of the rest of our tour. In light of this senseless violence, the closing of borders, and international mourning, we can't continue right now. There is no other way to say it.
"This is crazy and it sucks. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was hurt or who lost a loved one."
The 'All My Life' hitmakers were scheduled to perform at Paris' AccorHotels Arena on November 16, at Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon on November 17, as well as play singular shows in Italy and Spain in the days following.
And the Foo Fighters aren't the only band to cancel their tour as Motorhead and Coldplay have also followed suit.
The French capital was thrown into turmoil last week when attacks were launched on a concert hall, a stadium, restaurants and bars, tragically killing 129 people.

Adele's new album will feature "f**k you" songs about her ex-boyfriend.
The 'Hello' hitmaker has confirmed her track 'Send My Love (To Your New Lover)' on her forthcoming LP '25' is about her former flame, believed to be photographer Alex Sturrock, who broke her heart and inspired her albums '19' and '21.'
She told the Guardian newspaper: "This is my f**k you song. My love is deep and true with my man and I can finally reach out a hand to the ex and let him know that I'm over it."
The 27-year-old superstar will release her third album on Friday (20.11.15) following a four-year break and, while the pressure of creating a follow-up proved to be difficult, it was her three-year-old son Angelo - who she had with her partner Simon Konecki - who encouraged her comeback.
Asked about her motivation to return, she explained: "Um. My son. I felt so mega having given birth; the confidence from that, I felt unstoppable. I'm sure most women feel that ... Towards the end of the '21' stuff, I couldn't remember why I was doing it any more. I couldn't answer the question: 'Why am I halfway around the world? On my own?'
"But then, after I had my son, I thought, 'Yeah, that's why I did it all.' I felt proud of what I'd achieved with '21' for the first time. And now everything I do, in every channel of my life, is part of a legacy that I'm making for my child.
"For my children, if I have more. I'm not motivated by much, certainly not by money - but I'm motivated by that. I want my child to see his mum running a proper business again. Being a boss again. Hopefully smashing it again."

Lorde has rubbished claims she lip synced on 'Saturday Night Live'.
The 'Royals' hitmaker took to the stage with Disclosure at the weekend to perform the song 'Magnets' from the electronic music duo's latest album 'Caracal' and she later took to her Twitter account to insist that while she's flattered people think she was faking it, she definitely wasn't.
She wrote: "wow - the fact that some people thought I was lip syncing on snl is an awesome compliment! goes without saying i have never/will never haha (sic)."
Disclosure were also joined by 'The Writing's On The Wall' singer Sam Smith for their song 'Omen'.
Lorde added: "so much [love] to @disclosure who i love supporting and @samsmithworld who i just plain love
"we're just a bunch of kids from far away places and we played on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE! it's all a bit overwhelming and i'm crazy grateful (sic)."
Disclosure - who are made up of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence - previously spoke about how down to earth Lorde was when they were recording 'Magnets' in the studio.
Howard said: "She turned up on her own, no management or bodyguard.
"That's the most equal collaboration on the record. You can really hear her sound -- she has this sassy yet vulnerable thing."

The 1975's Matt Healy has slammed Justin Bieber for singing about "nothingness".
The pop star has criticised the 21-year-old singer, saying his chart-topping single 'What Do You Mean?' doesn't "inspire" anything.
He said: "That new Justin Bieber song - 'What do you mean? When you nod your head yes but you wanna say no' - can we stop talking about girls who don't know what they want? Can we stop talking about nothingness? No one's asking you to inspire a revolution, but inspire something."
The 'Chocolate' hitmaker continued to be vocal about his dislike for the musician - who recently released his new album 'Purpose' - confessing he was a "w***er" to him last time they met.
Recalling an album launch party he attended, he said: "I was a w***er to Justin Bieber. I think he tried to get me kicked out a couple of times."
And the singer also laid into indie rock bands who pretend "they don't care", insisting he is unashamedly doing everything he can to be a star.
He explained to The Observer Music magazine: "I sometimes have a fear of wearing that on my sleeve.
"But there's no room for shrinking violets, not when everything's been done. The only thing my generation has left is to do things better than they were done before, and you can't do that if you want to be an indie band who pretends they don't care so they don't get judged on being s**t."

Seal used his new album as therapy following his divorce.
The 'Kiss from a Rose' hitmaker split with wife Heidi Klum - with whom he raises children Leni, 11, Henry, 10, Johan, eight, and Lou, five - in 2012 and has channelled all his emotions into new LP '7'.
He said: "Some people pay to see a therapist, but I write an album. I would never divulge which songs are autobiographical - some bits are, of course."
Despite the breakdown of his marriage, Seal hasn't lost faith in love.
He said: "My faith in love is stronger than it's ever been. You can't become jaded or fearful. That would be a dark and lonely place."
Instead, the 52-year-old singer is happy in a new relationship with Erica Packer, but wants to keep it as private as possible.
He told HELLO! magazine: "Am I in a happy relationship? Yeah I am. I don't talk about it so much because I've learnt when you're in a relationship in the public eye, you need to keep the thing that are precious to you, so you stand a much higher chance of survival."
And he won't be having any more kids with the mother-of-three as he thinks "four children is a lot."

Charli XCX is embarrassed about the songs she wrote as a teenager.
The 23-year-old singer hates the fact her teenage missives are still available online because she no longer thinks they're as good as she believed when she wrote them.
Asked what she'd like to delete from the Internet, she said: "All the songs I wrote when I was 14. They all have titles like 'I Wanna Be Darth Vader' and 'Dinosaur Sex'.
"I thought they were really good at the time, and now they live on in the public sphere."
The 'Boom Clap' hitmaker also admitted she always wishes she dressed more conservatively, but forgets her vow almost every time she gets ready to go out until it's too late.
She said: "I always wish I'd worn a longer skirt, but then every time I go out I end up in a mini, flashing my pants. I don't learn."
Charli recently splashed out on some unusual adornments for her new home.
She explained to Grazia magazine: "I've just bought lots of expensive crystals for my new house.
"I don't really believe in that stuff, but they look really pretty.
"I've also just got a huge neon palm tree for my front room."

Louis Tomlinson finds it "weird" being away from One Direction.
The 23-year-old singer and his bandmates are preparing to go on hiatus following the completion of their world tour next year, and the 'Little Things' hitmaker thinks his behaviour will change once he's on his own.
He said: "It's weird doing things without the boys. When I'm with them, I can be as cheeky as I want, but it's a very different dynamic when you're on your own."
Though Louis is proud of how "genuine" he and his bandmates have always tried to be, he worries they should have censored themselves a bit more.
He said: "Me and the boys always made sure we were ourselves and as genuine as possible. Maybe sometimes we are too much ourselves - but it's quite refreshing for people to see that we're not all polished."
Louis - who recently joined Simon Cowell to select his 'X Factor' finalists - is now looking to the future and plans to work more on the business side of things with the mogul.
He told Closer magazine: "I was really s****ing myself [on 'The X Factor']. I had to give a speech in front of all the contestants. I was thinking of the right thing to say but just started waffling. Once I sat down next to Simon, I felt OK and he reassured me I had good instincts with picking talent. I make my mind up on people pretty quickly.
"Simon is still the boss but it's great to work with him and know he values my opinions and what I have to say."

Fleur East wants to tour with Kanye West.
The 'Sax' singer - who shot to fame after coming second in last year's 'The X Factor' - is determined to persuade the 38-year-old rapper, notorious for his outrageous on stage behaviour, to join her for a series of gigs around the world.
Asked who she would like to tour with, dead or alive, she said: "I would love [the late] Michael Jackson to join me and (his sister) Janet. And I would love to duet with Alicia Keys. And I would love Kanye West, just so we can call ourselves East West!"
Despite her career dreams and aspirations, the 28-year-old singer won't be enlisting anyone any time soon as she currently has her hands tied up with penning and releasing her debut album after recently signing a record deal with Simon Cowell's company Syco.
The curly-haired beauty has also just released her new catchy single 'Sax' and has tried to delve into her roots when she was writing it in order to highlight her true self.
She explained to Attitude magazine: "I had to sit on it for so long and only played it to my family and friends a week before it came out. I am so excited.
"It's really old skool with a modern twist. When my mum heard it she said to me that it kind of sounded like the music she grew up listening to. The whole album has that vibe."
