Rod Stewart is desperate for The Faces to be invited to play at Glastonbury festival.
The 70-year-old singer has called on the festival's founder Michael Eavis to get in touch with the band - which recently reformed with remaining members Ronnie Wood and Kenney Jones - because it's the one gig they never got to do.
Rod pleaded: "I just wish someone would phone us up from Glastonbury and ask us to do that. They have never done it. We would be up for it. There are only three of us standing now."
The 'Stay With Me' hitmakers tried to reform for a string of dates in 2010 and 2011 but chose to go with Simply Red's Mick Hucknall on lead vocals instead of Rod.
And Ronnie previously blamed Rod's management for the delay in making the full reunion happen.
The 'Ooh La La' crooners - whose bassist Ronnie Lane passed away in 1997 - were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 where they were set to reunite but Rod pulled out of the performance due to illness.
The rockers finally reunited last month, but Rod admitted it went by in a flash.
He told BBC Radio London: "It is like sex sometimes. It goes by too fast."
Iggy Azalea's new album will be called 'Digital Distortion'.
The 'Fancy' rapper has revealed she's well on her way to completing her new album and has announced the title of the record, which she said fans can expect to hear next year.
In a Q&A on Twitter, she told one user: "digital distortion is not a song title, its the name of my album. (sic)"
But new music from the 25-year-old star isn't far off as she teased she will be dropping the first single from the LP at some point in the next few weeks.
Asked when she'd be releasing the lead track, she said: "this month. (sic)"
However, Iggy - who released her debut 'The New Classic' last year - admitted she hasn't finished the collection, which she hopes to release "next year," and is planning to "ask people soon" to collaborate with her.
After a fan complimented her on a selfie, she wrote: "thankyou! im going to go and play my album to someone from def jam and i wanted to look nice. (sic)"
But asked if she'd finished the collection, she commented: "no im still working on a few things. (sic)"
During the surprise Q&A she also revealed she wrote a verse for a Selena Gomez track called 'Girl Crush', but the song was eventually shelved.
She said: "i did a song for her a while ago but she didnt release it, it was called girl crush. shes great.
"i didnt write it for her, just a verse. but it was very different to the current stuff so it may not have fit her new music 🙂 (sic)."
Kanye West's daughter has changed the way he raps.
The 'Bound 2' hitmaker has admitted his writing style has altered since welcoming his daughter North, two, with his wife Kim Kardashian West, with whom he's expecting a baby boy later this year, and he now sees her as his inspiration.
Speaking on SHOWStudio, he said: "Having a family, period, has made me completely rethink the way I rap."
He added: "People extend their brand for a long time. There's true moments of genius, then there are moments of looking through the archives and putting s**t together."
The 38-year-old rapper thinks popular music nowadays is based on something he's done in the last 10 years.
He explained: "The majority of things that are popular now are really directly based on something that I've done over the past 10 years. You can pinpoint it ... I think it's amazing."
He added: "I think I had a purpose. That was my purpose. To innovate. That's what I'm trying to say. So, if you hear something that sounds similar to something that I've done before, that is an extension of a new album, for me."
Kanye, who says he is influenced by Coldplay, J Dilla and Jay Z, refers to himself as a "genius" because he thinks other titles such as "celebrity" and "rapper" are negative.
The Shires want to make a country-dance song.
The country music duo - comprised of Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes - revealed they're keen to make a foray into floor fillers and are eager to work with Swedish DJ Avicii following his success with hit singles 'Hey Brother' and 'Wake Me Up'.
Asked if they were planning on switching up their style for their next record, Ben exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Not for our album but I'd love to do like what Avicii did - to do a country-dance song would be amazing. Because before he did those two songs, I think it was 'Cotton Eyed Joe', that was the only country dance song before that, so to work with someone like Avicii would be absolutely incredible I think."
Although the pair - who released their debut album 'Brave' earlier this year - would be up for exploring music outside their genre, they believe Miley Cyrus should stick to her country roots instead of making pop music because she has such a great voice.
Questioned on what other artists should return to the genre, Ben said: "I think some people would say Taylor Swift but I think her stuff at the moment is just awesome. So I don't think she should go back to country but I think Miley Cyrus should."
And he confessed he realised the 'Wrecking Ball' singer's talent when he watched her in 'Hannah Montana: The Movie'.
He added: "I remember I watched the Hannah Montana movie at the cinema, don't ask me why, but I can remember I was really hungover that day, and when she sings 'The Climb' in that film I cried my eyes out. It's such a great song and the way she performs it - she's got such an amazing country voice. I think 'Wrecking Ball' and all the stuff she has done since has been great but her country roots, I wish she'd go back to them, and I think she will."
Kanye West has praised Frank Ocean for combating homophobia in music.
The 38-year-old rapper has come out in support of the hip hop musician who he believes "broke the ground" in the genre by admitting back in 2012 to having a relationship with a man, despite being in a genre which is notoriously homophobic.
He said: "Like people don't have a problem with white rappers now because Eminem ended up being the greatest artist, and everyone thought that with Frank Ocean.
"I think it's so cliché to mention him with this subject but there always are people who broke the ground and I think he is the one who broke the ground because people don't give a f**k. People love his music so much. The people who break the stereotypes make history."
The 'Gold Digger' hitmaker, who recently unveiled his second fashion collection, added he feels he can relate to the musician because he felt opposite prejudices entering the design industry as a heterosexual man, as many clothes designers are gay.
Speaking to SHOWstudio, he explained: "Yeah, it's funny. Isn't it so funny how just the culture of different art forms are so different?
"Where it's like I felt that I got discriminated against in fashion also for not being gay. Whereas in music you definitely get discriminated against if you are gay. And it definitely takes some amazing talents to really break down that barrier.
"I just thought it was interesting to point that out about the fashion world and the music world and how just culturally it's reverse discrimination."

Lethal Bizzle is teaming up with David Arnold and Sinead Harnett to make a grime-symphonic-soul track.
The eclectic trio of musicians have joined forces for a pioneering new project which will fuse the genres together to introduce music fans to something new.
Speaking about the track, the 31-year-old rapper said: "The track is a celebration of my journey and bringing together two worlds - grime and orchestra. Throw the rule book out, music has no boundaries."
David, who is best known for composing music for five James Bond films as well as 'Godzilla' and 'Independence Day', revealed he wanted to be part of the project because it shows music has no boundaries.
He added: "There are no rules. Violins, beats, lyrics, rhythms, brass sections, distortion, guitars, samples ... it's all music, if it sounds good then it is good. There's no reason why Grime can't meet Orchestra and this track is proof of how music knows no bounds."
The track is being created as part of cider brand Bulmers' #LiveColourful LIVE campaign which is encouraging people to embrace the new and diverse.
Fans have a chance to gain tickets to a money-can't-buy performance of the track in London on October 13 through Bulmers' website, where the track will be available as a free download on the same day.

Justin Bieber believes One Direction took his album release date for extra publicity.
Last month, the 21-year-old star announced his new album 'Purpose' would be out on November 13 and just weeks later, the boyband revealed they would also be releasing their fifth studio album 'Made In The A.M.' on the same day meaning the two acts will go head-to-head in a chart battle.
Opening up about the band's choice of release date, he said: "They're not really going on the road much, but we're talking about them right now, so it gives them some promo, right?
"So, that's probably why they did it ... I think it was strategy on their part because my release date was first."
Despite the four-piece group's choice, Justin said he's "excited" for the chart fight to commence to see whose record performs better.
Speaking to New Zealand' 'Smash! The Edge', he added: "But whatever. It's whatever. It's going to be fun. I'm excited to see what happens."
The 'What Do You Mean?' hitmaker previously made light of the clash on Snapchat by suggesting the band should be scared about being trounced by his record.
With a terrified expression, he said: "The face you make when you come out with an album the same day as Justin Bieber."
