Joss Whedon’s ‘tough’ time directing Avengers: Age Of Ultron

Joss Whedon thought he was going to "die" on set of 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'.
The 50-year-old screenwriter and director has admitted he found it "tough" focusing on each of the 11 main characters whilst filming the upcoming instalment of the movie series.
He said: "It is tough. There's basically 11 main characters in this movie, which is quite frankly too much. I may die.
"Thor's probably the hardest to write at any point because his adventures tend towards the legendary and you can only have so much of that before people start to go: 'Wait a minute, whaaaat?'
"But the fun of the thing is taking Hawkeye and the people who don't have their own franchises - Banner, Natasha, the new guys - and delving into their lives."
And Joss insists he isn't worried about what fans think about the flick and is, instead, focused on what he wants.
He added to The Guardian newspaper's Guide magazine: "I don't really think about the fans. I think about what I want because I'm the guy who's taking the comic book he read as a kid and turning it into a movie that I want to see as much as I want people to see it.
"[Marvel Studios president] Kevin Feige and I are fanboys, straight up. But we also know that if you just spend your time catering to the fans you make something that is hermetically sealed. The first question we always ask is: 'What is the way in for someone who has never seen a superhero movie?' You need to be thinking about everybody all the time."

Scott Eastwood’s struggle against famous name

Scott Eastwood insists having a famous father has made his career "harder".
The 'Fury' actor - who is the son of movie icon and director Clint Eastwood and former air stewardess Jacelyn Reeves - found it hard to be taken seriously because of his surname when he was beginning his career as people assumed he didn't need to try for success.
He said: "I had a couple of auditions and things here and there and said, 'Maybe I'll give this a shot and see how it works out.' I lived in LA for eight years, but I was never the cool kid and I ended up moving away because a lot of people didn't take me seriously as an actor because of my name.
"In some ways it was harder for me than for other actors because there was a lot of, 'Well he's Clint Eastwood's son so yeah, sure he's successful'. But I've been working for 12 years and I'm still around, so that must tell you something."
Scott can next be seen as professional bull rider Luke Collins in 'The Longest Ride' and found the only way to prepare for the role was to get real experience.
He told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "There really is no way to learn how to ride the bull than to, well, ride the bull.
"I happen to know some people who do that, so I went to visit them, took some beer and said, 'Let's buck some bulls'."

Sylvester Stallone wants to be Jane Bond

Sylvester Stallone wants to play Jane Bond.
The 68-year-old actor doesn't think he has what it takes to play iconic British spy James Bond - who is currently portrayed by Daniel Craig - but would like to try a new take on the famous franchise.
Asked if he wants to play Bond, he said: "Oh my God, maybe Jane Bond. I don't think James would work. My English accent is not worthy of the kingdom."
The 'Expendables' star thinks actors are not like "regular folk" because they have such extreme mood swings and big egos, but he thinks that masks low self-esteem.
He said: "All actors are a little off-centre. They're not regular folk - they're very sensitive, malleable and impressionable.
"They have mood swings at times. The beauty of a good actor is that you can swing these moods when the camera requires.
"Actors have big egos but quite often it's in a 'he doth protest too much' kind of way."
Though he has never won an Oscar, the actor thinks his time will come one day.
He told Britain's OK! magazine: "It depends on the mood of Hollywood, it's a cyclic thing.
"Eventually, if you're around long enough, you get appreciated for longevity, which to me is the greatest Oscar of all - working and providing entertainment."
(OK!)

Chris Evans asks Marvel bosses to be more sympathetic

Chris Evans thinks Marvel bosses "need to sympathise" with the pressure of muscle gain.
The 'Captain America' actor confessed that a "body can only take so much" and in Hollywood, it's tough to achieve the ultra buff body that Marvel producers desire when a body may not naturally become that big.
The 33-year-old star revealed: "One of the things I've always said to the higher-ups at Marvel, is they have to sympathise with the fact that we're all trying to put on as much muscle as we possibly can, but these suits are so counterproductive."
What's more, Chris revealed the specific problems with trying to maintain his physique.
He told Gay Times magazine: "Once you start filming you're only losing weight. It's so hard to maintain your size, that's why you try and get as big as you possibly can prior to filming because by the time you finish shooting you're gonna be about ten pounds lighter.
"The second we've finished filming I don't even think about the gym for months. I'm actually just getting back into it right now. I started picking up some weights around February. It takes about three months to get back where you were."

Al Pacino doesn’t shop

Al Pacino hasn't done his own grocery shopping for 50 years.
The 74-year-old screen legend - who has a grown-up daughter, Julie Marie, with an ex-partner and 14-year-old twins Anton and Olivia with former girlfriend Beverly D'Angelo - admits he hasn't been able to lead a normal life since finding fame several decades ago.
He said: "I haven't been in a grocery store or ridden a subway in 50 years."
The 'Godfather' star insists he doesn't mind being recognised when he is out and about, though his kids find it harder to deal with.
He said: "I don't mind [fame] but my kids have a difficult time going out with me publicly.
"I'm fine not having anonymity, I've sort of learnt how to live with it."
The 'Danny Collins' star will support his children if they decide to follow in his footsteps because he thinks they are already showing signs of talent.
Asked if he would encourage his kids into showbiz, he told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "If there is talent - which there is - I will. Who else is going to hire me when I get old?
"My youngest daughter made a video the other day - just like that - put it together, edited, did the whole thing. Amazing."

Disney’s value soars with Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ trailer

The new two-minute clip of 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' added $2 billion to the value of Disney.
The trailer of the much-discussed movie premiered at an event in California yesterday (16.04.15), causing a dramatic increase in Disney's share value.
Disney acquired the rights to the 'Star Wars' franchise from George Lucas' Lucasfilm company in 2012, and speaking at the time, Robert Iger, Disney's chairman and chief executive, said the company "reflects the extraordinary passion, vision, and storytelling of its founder".
He added: "This transaction combines a world-class portfolio of content including Star Wars, one of the greatest family entertainment franchises of all time, with Disney's unique and unparalleled creativity."
Meanwhile, Carrie Fisher has revealed Princess Leia will not wear her legendary bun hairstyle in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'.
Carrie, 58, reprises the role of the princess in the new film, but has warned fans to expect her appearance to have evolved.
She joked: "The buns are tired now - so no you're not going to have the futuristic buns.
"We have an alternate thing that I think you'll be into - that is not the metal bikini, I promise."
'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' opens in December 2015.

Liam Neeson reveals his fight scene secret

Liam Neeson doesn't film a fight scene more than three times because he fears he'll get "exhausted".
The 62-year-old actor - who starred as ex-covert operative Bryan Mills in the 'Taken' franchise - has revealed he lacks the stamina needed to film action scenes more than three times.
Reflecting on his experience of filming action movies, Liam told 'El Hormiguero': "Each shot depends on lot of things but at the third, I'm exhausted, so we try not to repeat each scene more than three times.
"We rehearse a lot fights so that when we shot there is no accident and no punch, at least until now."
This comes after Liam revealed he is planning to quit action films and confessed he wants to move on from the genre in the next couple of years.
He said: "Maybe two more years - if God spares me, and I'm healthy. But after that, I'll stop [the action], I think."
Liam said although he's enjoyed great success with action films, he knows it can't go on forever.
He admitted: "I'm in a very, career-wise, great place. The success certainly of the Taken films, Hollywood seems to see me in a different light. I get sent quite a few action-orientated scripts, which is great. I'm not knocking it. It's very flattering. But there is a limit of course."

JJ Abrams reveals Harrison Ford is ‘doing great’ after crash

Harrison Ford is "doing great and working hard" after being involved in a plane crash last month.
The 72-year-old 'Star Wars' actor suffered injuries in a small plane crash in Los Angeles at the beginning of March, but according to 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' director JJ Abrams, Harrison is making a good recovery from the accident.
The director said: "He's doing great and working hard.
"I had respect for him all my life, but I never had more respect for him than when I saw how he landed that plane.
"He's more of a hero than anyone he's played [on film]."
Earlier this week, filmmakers released a new trailer for 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens', which shows Harrison's Han Solo alongside his sidekick Chewbacca.
The trailer starts with a car speeding through a desolate landscape past the crashed spaceship, and a mysterious voiceover, thought to be Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker.
The unnamed character announces: "The force is strong in my family. My father has it. I have it. My sister has it. You have that power too."
'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' is expected to be released on December 18.

James Corden ‘craves Zoolander 2 role’

James Corden craves a role in 'Zoolander 2'.
The 36-year-old entertainer, who recently took up hosting responsibilities on 'The Late Late Show', is keen to star in the eagerly-awaited sequel to the 2001 comedy hit, which starred Ben Stiller as dimwitted male model Derek Zoolander, according to The Sun newspaper.
Since the sequel was announced, a host of big-name stars have been linked to a role in the movie, including the Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld.
The designer was approached to make an appearance in the long-awaited movie, but explained he has no desire to turn his hand to acting.
He said: "I don't want to be in the movie. They wanted me to be in the movie! I'm not an actor."
Meanwhile, Kanye West is also apparently set to feature in the film after his friend Will Ferrell suggested him for a part.
What's more, Kanye is requesting his wife Kim Kardashian West be given a cameo in the comedy movie.
A source said: "Kanye is friends with Will and appeared briefly in 'Anchorman 2' but he wanted to be in 'Zoolander 2' even more. It's very likely that Kim will also appear in some capacity."
'Zoolander 2' is set for release in February 2016.
