Emily Blunt has been asked to return to 'Gnomeo & Juliet' in new sequel 'Gnomeo & Juliet: Sherlock Gnomes'.
The 'Devil Wears Prada' star - who voiced Juliet in the first film in 2011, alongside James McAvoy [Gnomeo] - is wanted for a part in the 3D computer-animated romantic comedy film based on William Shakespeare's play 'Romeo and Juliet'.
The Daily Mail newspaper has reported that Emily, 32, has a tight schedule and she is currently in the UK working on the set of 'The Huntsman', which she stars alongside 'Mad Max: Fury Road' actress Charlize Theron, 'Interstellar' star Jessica Chastain and 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' actor Chris Hemsworth.
According to the report, the family film is about "the characters from the first movie enlisting the help of a famous gnome-detective in solving the sinister disappearance of gnomes from the suburban gardens of England".
Meanwhile, 'Atonement' actor McAvoy has also been offered a role, but he too has two major movies coming up, 'Victor Frankenstein' and 'X-Men: Apocalypse'.
Both actors are yet to be confirmed as the movie's producers have not finalised plans.

Lake Bell is "thankful" for her role in 'In A World...' as it led to her being the lead actress in 'Man Up'.
The 36-year-old actress landed her lead female role in new romantic comedy 'Man Up' - in which she stars opposite Simon Pegg - because of her film about dialect, which she spent five years making and is now yielding the rewards.
She told The Independent newspaper: "'In A World...' changed my life a thousand per cent. I feel thankful that something I believed in so much - I love dialect, so I dedicated five years of my life to making a film about it - yielded such rewards. It led to 'Man Up', as well as 'No Escape', which comes out later this year ... two movies where I am the female lead. And I'm also involved now in movie pre-production, production and as a director."
The 'What Happens In Vegas' actress was apparently picked for 'Man Up' according to her co-star Simon because Big Talk Productions "wanted to find someone surprising, fresh and exciting".
Meanwhile, Lake believes the secret to a good romantic-comedy is to embrace the genre fully and not try and be clever with the format.
She explained: "I think the key to a great romcom is to not fight against the genre. The trend more recently has been to apologise, or be snarky, so it's an anti-romcom. Out comes that wide smile ... Just lean in and embrace the fact it's a love story and it's funny and it's light. It can still be uber-smart and deal with zeitgeist issues."

The 51-year-old British actor will appear in the role of Supreme Leader Snoke in the J.J. Abrams-directed movie, which is set for release later this year.

Henry Cavill reportedly quit new thriller movie 'Stratton' less than a week before shooting was set to begin.
The 32-year-old hunk, who is best known for starring as Superman in 2013's 'Man of Steel', was cast in a leading role in the Simon West-directed film, but opted to walk away shortly before shooting was set to begin in London and Rome.
Guy Collins, the Co-Founder of GFM Films, which is providing finance for the film, told ScreenDaily: "After securing many distribution deals ahead of the market, we had a really good Cannes and had closed more deals ahead of production next week.
"But just before leaving Cannes last Friday we were informed by the production company that they wanted to push the start date back by around three weeks to finalise some additional casting and make some further fixes to the script.
"Then, during several meetings this week in London with both sets of producers including Henry Cavill, he told us he has decided not to shoot this script at this time.
"He had a different vision of what the film should be to us and the production team and wanted to delay production until September and shoot a different story and script."

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson begged 'San Andreas' director Brad Peyton not to kill Kylie Minogue's character.
The 43-year-old actor has revealed he had a heart to heart with the filmmaker and pleaded with him not kill off the 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' hitmaker's character Susan Riddick.
Dwayne said: "Brad Peyton, the director, I told him, 'Don't kill Kylie'. That was my thing.
"He's like, 'We gotta kill her'."
The former wrestling star - who plays Los Angeles fire chief Ray Gaines in the disaster film - made the confession in a bid to shift the blame as he didn't want Kylie's fellow Australian people to hate him.
Speaking on Australian talk show 'The Project', he shared: "I consider Australians as my family ... I blame the director, Brad Peyton, [he] had to kill her, I was like, 'Don't do it!' "
The 'Furious 7' hunk previously praised his "beautiful" co-star, admitting he was "impressed" with her acting skills.
He told BANG Showbiz: "I got to know Kylie and she is great. I've always heard throughout Hollywood and the world of entertainment and her reputation and personality preceded itself.
"Everybody's like I've heard she is kind of like this. I came to the set on my day off to just watch her work, I was so impressed with her she is so nice and beautiful."

Lupita Nyong'o is thrilled she gets to be a "space cadet" in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'.
The 32-year-old actress portrays Maz Kanata - a pirate and galactic traveller - in the highly anticipated sci-fi sequel and admits she always dreamed of space when she was a kid.

Chris Pine is reportedly in negotiations to star in the new 'Wonder Woman' film.
The 34-year-old actor - who's best known for his role as James T. Kirk in the 'Star Trek' movies - is wanted by Warner Bros. to appear as Gal Gadot's love interest in the upcoming superhero film.
Chris' proposed on-screen character, Steve Trevor, is an intelligence officer in the US Army during World War II whose plane crashed on Paradise Island, the homeland of Wonder Woman.
Previously, it was speculated the coveted role had already been handed to Scott Eastwood, but Variety reports that his decision to accept a role in 'Suicide Squad' has opened the door for Chris, who last year starred in 'Horrible Bosses 2'.
This comes shortly after it was revealed Patty Jenkins had replaced Michelle MacLaren as the director of 'Wonder Woman'.
The 43-year-old director - who helmed 'Monster', the 2003 crime drama film about serial killer Aileen Wuornos - was given the job after Michelle walked away from the project because of creative differences.
At the time of Michelle's exit, a statement explained: "Given creative differences, Warner Bros. and Michelle MacLaren have decided not to move forward with plans to develop and direct 'Wonder Woman' together."
