Bradley Cooper admits there’s a ‘double standard’ in Hollywood

Bradley Cooper thinks there's a "double standard" in Hollywood.
The 40-year-old actor appeared alongside Jennifer Lawrence in the hit movie 'American Hustle' and has reaffirmed his co-star's claim that women do not receive equal treatment in the film business.
He said: "There's a double standard in the whole world, yeah, for sure. This is just one aspect."
Bradley also backed the Oscar-winning actress and his 'American Sniper' co-star Sienna Miller for speaking out on the issue.
He told ET Canada: "Anytime there's a place where a voice can come out and be outspoken - something Sienna did, or Jennifer - that's great. ... I think it is making a difference."
Bradley's remarks come shortly after Jennifer admitted to being surprised by the pay gap between herself and her 'American Hustle' co-stars.
She explained: "When the Sony hack happened and I found out how much less I was being paid than the lucky people with d**ks, I didn't get mad at Sony. I got mad at myself. I failed as a negotiator because I gave up early.
"I didn't want to keep fighting over millions of dollars that, frankly, due to two franchises, I don't need. (I told you it wasn't relatable, don't hate me)."

Steve Jobs movie ‘isn’t factually accurate’

Danny Boyle's 'Steve Jobs' isn't factually accurate, according to Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.
The 65-year-old computer pioneer has revealed that sizeable amounts of the new movie are made up - but he still found it "enjoyable" to watch.
He shared: "Everything in the movie didn't happen. Every scene that I'm in, I wasn't talking to Steve Jobs at those events."
Despite this, Wozniak endorsed the director's decision to be creative with the plot.
He told Bloomberg TV: "It's the artistic freedom to make a movie that is enjoyable.
"We had meetings on multiple occasions ... tiny, tiny bits that were somewhere else kind of got used by him and painted by him in a different way and a different place."
Meanwhile, Michael Fassbender - who stars as Steve Jobs in the film - revealed recently that he's "not a very techie person".
What's more, the 38-year-old star also admitted to feeling "very nervous" about accepting the role because he didn't know anything about the American businessman.
He said: "I'm not a very techie person. I use all the Apple products, but I had no real insight into him.
"I was nervous. I was very nervous. It was going to be a big challenge, the volume of words alone."

Jennifer Lawrence surprised by gender pay gap

Jennifer Lawrence was surprised by the pay gap between herself and "people with d**ks".
The Oscar-winning actress is among the most bankable stars in Hollywood, but was shocked to learn that she and her 'American Hustle' co-star Amy Adams were paid considerably less for their role in the movie than Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, and Jeremy Renner.
But Jennifer also admitted she was a victim of her own desire to be liked.
In an essay, she wrote: "If I'm honest with myself, I would be lying if I didn't say there was an element of wanting to be liked that influenced my decision to close the deal without a real fight. I didn't want to seem 'difficult' or 'spoiled'.
"At the time, that seemed like a fine idea, until I saw the payroll on the Internet and realised every man I was working with definitely didn't worry about being 'difficult' or 'spoiled.'"

Kathy Burke to star in Absolutely Fabulous movie

Kathy Burke is to star in the 'Absolutely Fabulous' movie.
The 51-year-old actress appears set to reprise the role of Magda, Patsy Stone's editor, in the eagerly-awaited new comedy movie.
Kathy tweeted a picture of the front of a confidential cast list with the word "*teasing*", virtually confirming she will be starring alongside Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley in the film based on the popular 90s sitcom.
Joanna previously revealed the new movie will see the TV show's old cast come together for the one-off project, which has already been scripted by Jennifer.
She said: "We are all there, the same old gang. Lots of people you will have seen in it before, I think we are going down to the south of France to do some of the shooting there.
"It'll all be shot on location. It is going to be ravishingly funny! Very gorgeous... and completely fabulous!"
Meanwhile, it's also been reported One Direction star Harry Styles has been handed a cameo role in the film.
A source previously said: "Jennifer has told friends she wants Harry to be part of the movie. She's got some great cameos in the bag already, but wants to give the film a young, hipster edge."

Naomie Harris thinks Daniel Craig will return to play Bond

Naomie Harris doubts Daniel Craig is about to walk away from the role of James Bond.
The 39-year-old actress stars alongside Craig in the new Bond movie 'Spectre' and despite his recent claim that he'd rather "slash his wrists" than return to the role, Naomie doesn't see the 47-year-old star quitting just yet.
She said: "To say that he doesn't want to come back - I just don't believe it for a second.
"It's been blown completely out of proportion. Daniel worked 128 days on this movie and he works incredibly hard."
And Naomie said her co-star's commitment to the role even extended to performing some of the jaw-dropping stunts that will feature in the movie, one of which required surgery.
Speaking at the launch party for Sony's technology 'Made for Bond' including the RX100 IV camera at The Mondrian, London, Naomie told the Evening Standard newspaper: "He injured himself on the movie and came straight back after the operation and worked despite being in pain. He continued to do his stunts, despite his pain.
"I've seen him work 15-hour days and then come back and train for two hours. He does all of his own stunts unless the insurance won't allow it."

Daniel Craig: I loved flirting with Moneypenny

Daniel Craig loved flirting with Miss Moneypenny in 'Spectre'.
The 47-year-old star - who's reprised the role of the secret agent for the new Sam Mendes-directed movie - has revealed how much he relished his on-screen teasing of the sexy secretary, played by Naomie Harris.
He shared: "There is a great working relationship that's a big flirt. It's great to play and Naomie does it brilliantly."
Meanwhile, Daniel also confessed he couldn't envision himself being friends with a real-life Bond, but admitted he'd be good company at a party.
Speaking to chat-show host Jonathan Ross, the English actor explained: "It's one of those things - he's fun at a party but don't stay too late."
And although Daniel remained tight-lipped about the plot of the new movie, he was happy to heap praise on his Oscar-winning co-star Christoph Waltz, who's been cast in the role of Franz Oberhauser.
He said: "Christoph is... what an actor!
"I made this joke that he used to come to set with his two Oscars and slap them down on the table and say 'right let's begin!'
"He's an amazing actor, he's got this darkness about him and it's such a beautiful nuance performance."
'James Bond's Spectre with Jonathan Ross' is due to air on Saturday 17th October on ITV.

Quentin Tarantino thinks his race is irrelevant

Quentin Tarantino thinks his race ought to be irrelevant to how his films are judged.
The 52-year-old director has often been criticised for including the N-word in his movies - but he thinks his films are merely a reflection of the real world.
He said: "If people don't like my movies, they don't like my movies, and if they don't get it, it doesn't matter.
"The bad taste that was left in my mouth had to do with this: It's been a long time since the subject of a writer's skin was mentioned as often as mine.
"You wouldn't think the colour of a writer's skin should have any effect on the words themselves."
Despite being a white director, Quentin thinks his movies - such as 'Django Unchained' and 'Jackie Brown' - have played a key role in black culture in America.
He told The New York Times Magazine: "If you've made money being a critic in black culture in the last 20 years you have to deal with me."
Meanwhile, the acclaimed director offered an insight into his much-anticipated new movie 'The Hateful Eight', arguing it will challenge the notion of white supremacy in the US.
He said: "My movie is about the country being torn apart by [the US Civil War], and the racial aftermath, six, seven, eight, ten years later.
"The issue of white supremacy is being talked about and dealt with, and it's what the movie's about."

Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk for Thor: Ragnarok?

Mark Ruffalo's Hulk will return in 'Thor: Ragnarok'.
The 47-year-old actor will reportedly reprise his role as Bruce Banner - who turns into the Hulk whenever he gets angry - to team up with Chris Hemsworth's Thor in the third instalment of the Marvel Comics films.
Ruffalo, who has played the Hulk in 'The Avengers' and 'Avengers: Age of Ultron', also joins Tom Hiddleston and Jaimie Alexander, who play Loki and Lady Sif respectively.
'Thor: Ragnarok' will involved a "distant planet" that is "not Asgard and not Earth", according to JoBlo.com.
The news comes after 'Guardians of the Galaxy' director James Gunn denied Ruffalo's Hulk would be involved in the upcoming sequel.
And sources claim that while Banner may not be seen in the film itself, a post-credits sequence could tease that Hulk is on a "distant planet" as 'Thor: Ragnarok' is the next film from the Marvel universe set for release after 'Guardians 2'.
'Thor: Ragnarok' - which is to be directed by 'Green Lantern' filmmaker Taika Waititi - is slated for release on November 3, 2017.
