Woody Harrelson played an elaborate prank on the entire cast of 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2' during filming.
The 54-year-old actor - who stars alongside the likes of Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth in the latest movie in the series - fooled his on-screen co-stars into thinking - and worrying - he'd be badly hurt while out riding his bicycle.
Speaking at a press conference for the sequel today (06.11.15), director Francis Lawrence explained to BANG Showbiz: "I remember one time Woody had fallen out of tree and scraped the whole of the right side of his body.
"So I get this text and an image of Wood with a completely scarred and bloodied side of his face. And he'd been riding his bike a lot, and he had hit the gravel and gone down and landed on his face and he was supposed to shoot the next day.
"So he was saying, 'You know I don't know what can we do, what can we do about these scars?' And he was acting a little dizzy, and it was all just a joke.
"He had our make-up people come to his house and spend three hours putting this prosthetic make-up on his face to take pictures of it just to freak me out."
And Liam revealed the lengths Woody went to in order to fool his co-stars.
He said: "I was texting with him and I was with a friend of mine and he sent this photo to me. He was like, 'I'm at this hospital man can you come and pick me up?' I'm like 'Yeah man where are you at?'
"He told me the name of it and it was April Fools, and my friend said, 'Are you sure it's not like an April Fools thing?' And I said, 'Nah mate, Woody wouldn't do something like that, this is real, I know Woody'. But the name he gave us for the hospital didn't exist, I was thinking where is this hospital! It's not coming up!"

Nicholas Hoult has teased details of 'X-Men: Apocalypse'.
The 25-year-old actor - who plays the part of Beast in the sci-fi franchise - isn't allowed to reveal too much information as the film is being kept "under wraps", but he admitted 'Ex Machina' star Oscar Isaac will take on the role of a mutant called Apocalypse and it will be set in the 1980s.
Asked what he is allowed to say about the film, he said: "It's under wraps. But Oscar Isaac is playing a powerful mutant called Apocalypse. It's set in the 1980s and reintroduces some of the characters from the previous films but with more stories from when they were younger."
Meanwhile, the 'About a Boy' star also admitted it took him "about three days to read" the movie's script.
He told Metro newspaper: "I'm a pretty fast reader, so it normally takes me about an hour-and-a-half to read a script. This one was sent in a convoluted way.
"It kept logging me out, so then my password wouldn't work, and then my name was imprinted all over the top of it so I could hardly read it. It took me about three days to read."

Noomi Rapace is in talks to play Amy Winehouse in a new biopic.
The 35-year-old actress has reportedly held discussions about appearing as the late British soul icon Amy Winehouse, based on a script written by 'August Rush' director Kirsten Sheridan.
Music rights are currently in negotiation on the project, according to Screen Daily, which also revealed Kirsten is preparing to direct the movie.
The proposed film is being discussed shortly after the release of the controversial documentary 'Amy', which was directed by Asif Kapadia.
Speaking shortly after the film aired, Mark Ronson - a friend and collaborator of the singer, who died in July 2011 - admitted it was "tough" watching the documentary.
However, Mark also revealed he was pleased his wife Josephine de La Baume was able to learn more about his close friend.
He shared: "Obviously, it's tough to watch the film because it brings back memories.
"But what I love about it is that my wife never got to meet Amy and I am always telling her stories about us in the studio and the clever, witty things that Amy would say.
"We watched it and my wife said, 'Now I get it, now I see the Amy you talked about'. I forget that not everyone got to see that side of her."

'Jurassic World' is set to become a trilogy.
Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow, who co-wrote the last movie, are already planning and penning the stories for the next two sequels to the popular American science-fiction adventure flick, which became one of the highest-grossing films of all time following its release earlier this year.
Universal Pictures' chairman Donna Langley told The Hollywood Reporter she had no idea the two talents had concocted such plan but said it was a "happy surprise."
She added: "Colin Trevorrow is busy working on an outline. He's been working with Steven [Spielberg]. And they have an idea for the next two movies actually."
The first sequel is scheduled for release on June 22, 2018 and will see Chris Pratt, who played Owen Grady, and Bryce Dallas Howard, who portrayed Claire, reprise their roles.
However, the third film is yet to be given a release date but it's believed it won't hit cinema screens before 2020, and it's unknown who will make the final casting cut as of yet.
Meanwhile, the original trilogy consisted of 'Jurassic Park' in 1993, 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park' four years later in 1997 and 'Jurassic Park III' half a decade later in 2001.

Samuel L. Jackson had to convince Quentin Tarantino to make 'The Hateful Eight'.
The Hollywood actor and the award-winning director have teamed up for the much-anticipated Western, but Samuel has revealed the movie would never have been made if it wasn't for his intervention.
Asked if the rumours about his input in the movie were true, he said: "Totally. I mean, there was no way we could read the script and sit there and not make the movie.
"I guess selfishly I look at it and said, 'S**t, this is the biggest part you've ever written for me and now you ain't going to make the movie?' And he's like, 'Ah don't worry, I'll just write another one.'
"And I'm, 'No motherf**er - this one, this is great, this is awesome.' The response of the audience as we read it was just incredible. Quentin was reading the stage directions and having a great old time, the audience applauding and cheering and seeing it in their heads in the same way we saw it and we felt."
Samuel admitted he's relieved he convinced Quentin to change his mind.
He told Britain's GQ magazine: "We were just glad that he changed his mind.
"When the script got leaked, I didn't have it, so he knew it weren't me. Only about three people among that group had it and I wasn't one of those three."

Julian Rhind Tutt doesn't think people would ever accept a ginger James Bond.
The 'Notting Hill' actor admitted the stereotype associated with 007, who is the epitome of cool, wouldn't allow him or anyone else with red hair to be considered for the role.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "Due to the terrible prejudice and racism in which we live these days, unfortunately they will never have a ginger James Bond, so unfortunately that role will elude me."
However, Julian said that although he may never get the chance to play the Secret Service Agent, he would enjoy the opportunity to appear as a Bond villain, saying he would like to base the character around Bond's arch-enemy Blofeld.
He confessed: "I could be one of the strange mutant super villains."
Julian is narrating the audiobook of Ian Fleming's 'The Man with the Golden Typewriter', which includes the private, unpublished letters of the novelist, including those received from and written to critics, as well as his wife.

Samuel L. Jackson thinks 'The Hateful Eight' is one of the best scripts Quentin Tarantino has ever written.
The 66-year-old actor and the award-winning director have collaborated on numerous films through their careers, including 'Pulp Fiction' and 'Jackie Brown', but Samuel has claimed his upcoming Western may be the best yet.
He explained: "I truly think it's one of the best he's ever written, if not the best. It's a real ensemble piece, it reads and performs like a play, all the parts are rich, all the people are interesting and fully formed, you know who they are and what they're about, how they feel about each other, how they feel about a place and what their intentions are in terms of who they are in that film and what they're doing to move that story on."
Samuel also revealed Quentin is unlike any other film-maker he's ever worked with.
He told Britain's GQ magazine: "Quentin has this amazing repository of cinematic memory that I have yet to encounter in anyone else.
"He can talk about films, scenes in films, who wrote a particular film, what was going on in the country or in their minds when they wrote that film, the actors in the film; he can describe a particular shot in a film and he just lives, breathes and kind of regurgitates stuff about movies that make the process different while you're doing it."
