Eddie Redmayne on Danish Girl’s nude scenes

Eddie Redmayne found shooting his nude scenes for his new movie 'Danish Girl' incredibly "embarrassing."
The 33-year-old actor may have 16 successful blockbusters under his belt but he has admitted he was still riddled with anxiety when he had to strip off in front of a whole crew of cameramen and women for his role as transgender Lili Elbe.
Speaking to Details magazine, he said: "Any time you get naked in front of a crew, it's embarrassing."
In one particular scene, the handsome star has to peel off his trousers and tuck his manhood through his legs.
He explained: "It's not as if we as actors have some way of becoming comfortable with it. It would be exactly like you getting naked in front of 30 people."
Redmayne has admitted he was initially sceptical when he landed the role of Lili - who became the first person to undergo sex-reassignment surgery in 1931 - but was able to get an insight into how transgender people are treated.
He explained: "Just walking onto a set filled with men, watching the difference in how you're treated, or the scrutiny ...the gaze was overwhelming. A lot of the women I worked with said, 'Yeah ...welcome to our world.' "
The 'Danish Girl' is set for release on November 27.

Tom Hanks confirms Toy Story 4 is in production

Tom Hanks has confirmed 'Toy Story 4' is in production.
The 52-year-old actor has begun recording the voiceover for his role as Woody in the fictional franchise, with the film being lined up for release in two years' time.
Speaking on Britain's 'The Graham Norton Show,' he said: "We're now recording 'Toy Story 4', so we're doing that and it'll be out in 2018. It takes a long time. We're working on it right now. I have a recording session on December 2."
However, despite having years of experience portraying the smart-talking sheriff, Hanks has admitted he still finds the task really strenuous on his diaphragm.
He explained: "It's very hard work animating these films. Honestly, it is because the recording sessions go on for four or five hours ... and my diaphragm gets a work out.
"I'm driving home and I literally have to put an ice pack on my chest because it's clenched throughout."
Meanwhile, despite openly admitting the ball has started rolling for the next 'Toy Story' movie, the handsome star believes he'll get into trouble for revealing too many details.
He explained: "Somebody stuck a microphone in my face one day and said, 'Is there going to be a 'Toy Story 4'?' and I said, 'Yeah, yeah, I think so.'
"And I got a call from the Disney lawyers the next day who said, 'You are contractually not allowed to discuss a 'Toy Story 4' or it'll affect the stock market price of the Disney comic stock.' and I just said, 'Hey, I'm sorry.' "

Fantastic Four 2 gets the chop

'Fantastic Four 2' has been cancelled by Fox.
The film corporation company has silently dropped the sequel, which was scheduled for release in 2017, following the reboot's disappointing box office figures earlier this year.
However, it's not yet known if the film will eventually make it on to the big screen or whether plans to create the sequel in the near future have been axed permanently.
The abrupt news will no doubt come as a surprise to fans as producer Simon Kinberg seemed to be overly excited about the prospects of another movie during an interview this year.
He said prior to the release of 'Fantastic Four,' which hit the big screen in August, that Fox were still trying to "figure out" the next steps for the then-forthcoming film.
The rights to 'Fantastic Four' are currently being held by co-producers Constantin Film, whose deal with Marvel states their rights will revert back if another movie isn't produced by 2022, according to the Independent newspaper.
Meanwhile, director Josh Trank, 31, previously said he thought Kinberg's 2005 and 2007 adaptations of the comic book film - which starred Jessica Alba and Chris Evans - "weren't very good", and, for that reason, he understands why fans were sceptical about his interpretation, starring Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell.
He said just weeks before the release of the 2015 film: "I get the scepticism going into it because the previous movies weren't very good. It's a very hard title to crack."

Tom Hanks wants Bond villain role

Tom Hanks is keen to play a villain in a James Bond film.
The 59-year-old actor - who is known for his nice guy roles in 'Philadelphia' and 'Forrest Gump' - is desperate to show fans a different side to him by taking on the part of an evil antagonist in the famous franchise in the near future.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, he said: "I want to play a villain in a James Bond film. I want to be the guy who says, 'Before I kill you, Mr Bond, perhaps you would like a tour of our installation where the vents are wide enough for a man to crawl through. Unfortunately you will not have that opportunity, Mr Bond'. I want to be that guy."
However, it seems the legendary star has changed his mind about his future projects over the past few weeks as he admitted recently that he finds villains "boring."
He said: "The problem with villains in motion pictures is they are two-dimensional."
But Hanks is convinced he'd be able to pull off the performance without any trouble, providing he was allowed to explore the character in more depth.
He explained: "I would kill those roles if they wanted me to do it. But I would need some other things - I mean, who would I get to play? I don't get to examine anything."

Chris Hemsworth replaced brother Liam as Thor

Chris Hemsworth replaced his brother Liam as Thor.
The 32-year-old actor has revealed he wasn't initially picked to play the hammer-wielding God in the blockbuster after failing to make the final cut alongside his younger sibling.
Speaking to Vanity Fair magazine, he said: "I had an audition with Ken [Branagh, for 'Thor'] that didn't go very well. I remember walking out thinking, 'Oh well, there goes that opportunity.' Then one day Joss and Drew were reading the trades, and on the front was the final four for 'Thor.'
"And they pointed to Liam and said, 'Hey, is that your brother?' And I said, 'Yeah.' And they said, 'Why the hell aren't you in the mix?' And I said, 'I didn't get a callback.' And they were like, 'This is crazy.' And I was like, 'If one of us gets it, that's cool.' And they were like, 'No way. That should be you.' And when casting opened back up, Joss called Ken and said, 'Give Chris another shot.' "
During his second attempt at landing the film's lead, the hunk, who is known for his bulging biceps and ripped abs, remembers the crew commenting on his muscular physique.
He recalled: "They said, 'Umm, we're looking for a Thor-type, not actual Thor.' "
And despite his tough journey into the movie, Chris has admitted getting the role was a "dream scenario."
Meanwhile, although Liam, 25, didn't quite manage to pick up a role in the superhero flick, the talented star didn't seem too disheartened as he landed the part of Gale Hawthorne in the 'Hunger Games' franchise just months later.

Eddie Redmayne’s three year preparation for The Danish Girl

Eddie Redmayne had been preparing for 'The Danish Girl' for three years.
The 33-year-old actor has revealed he had a fairly extended amount of time to research for his role as transgender artist Lili Elbe compared to when he portrayed Stephen Hawking in 'The Theory of Everything'.
He explained: "With 'Theory', I was so scared by it that it forced me to step up and request the things I needed - vocal coaches, movement coaches, specialists. I had four months to prepare. For 'The Danish Girl' I had three years."
The Oscar-winning actor also admits, through rehearsing for the part, he has learned that he fell into the "clichés of ignorance" as he didn't realise gender and sexuality wasn't "related".
He explained: "I fell into all the clichés of ignorance. I didn't realise that gender and sexuality weren't related. I confused the terms transvestitism and transgender.
"But what's lovely is, the second you understand the difference, you see how gigantic it is and how important it is that we educate ourselves."
And Eddie admits he has learnt a lot about women from his role in the film, which is due for release early next year.
He added to Details magazine: "Just walking onto a set filled with men, watching the difference in how you're treated, or the scrutiny ... the gaze was overwhelming.
"A lot of the women I worked with said, 'Yeah ... welcome to our world.'"

J.J. Abrams hasn’t finished Star Wars: Episode VII

J.J. Abrams still hasn't finished 'Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens' three weeks ahead of its release date.
The 49-year-old filmmaker has admitted he still has "six very small, but important" changes to make to the forthcoming movie before it'll be ready to hit the big screen next month.
Speaking to Stephen Colbert during a Q&A for the Celebrity Nerd Off fundraiser at the Montclair Film Festival in Newark, New Jersey over the weekend, he said: "We were working on the final mixes at 2:30 this morning. I left with six very small, but important things that (still) need to be done because I said, 'I have to get to the Montclair Film Festival.' "
However, the director can't wait to finally declare the highly anticipated film finished as it's been a long time coming.
He explained: "The truth is working on this movie for nearly three years, it has been like living with the greatest roommate in history for too long. It's time for him to get his own place. It's been great and I can't tell you how much I want him to get out into the world and meet other people because we know each other really well. But really, 'Star Wars' is bigger than all of us. So I'm thrilled beyond words (to be involved) and terrified more than I can say."
'Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens' is set for release worldwide on December 19.

Chris Hemsworth reveals shrunken figure for In the Heart of the Sea

Chris Hemsworth "wouldn't recommend" the low-calorie diet regime he had to follow for his upcoming film 'In the Heart of the Sea'.
The 31-year-old actor - who is known for his bulging biceps and ripped abs, especially when playing superhero Thor - shocked fans over the weekend when he uploaded a photograph on to Twitter of his diminished figure caused by the regime he followed to play shipwrecked sailor Owen Chase in the sea set drama.
He accompanied the picture with the caption: "Just tried a new diet/training program called "Lost At Sea". Wouldn't recommend it.. #IntheHeartoftheSea (sic)."
The Australian star recently wrapped shooting the upcoming disaster film - directed by Ron Howard and based on a true event that happened in 1820 - and recently admitted he had to follow the diet for "three or four weeks" in a bid to slim down to play Owen who is stranded with his shipmates at sea after their boat is attacked by a sperm whale.
He said previously: said: "We have to shoot the really skinny stuff where we drop down to 5, 6, 700 calories a day, a good three or four weeks and it's going to be pretty uncomfortable, but we'll be together in our misery."
While Chris was happy to transform his body for the role, he admitted giving up his favourite food, including "all the bad stuff, burgers, chocolate, ice-cream," is never easy.
He explained: "Anything that is not on the menu is automatically something that you have an absolute obsession with."

Cate Blanchett slams ‘moron’ men

Cate Blanchett thinks you'd have to be a "moron" not to want to work with Meryl Streep and Carey Mulligan.
The 46-year-old actress thinks it's outrageous that some actors turned down the opportunity to star in 'Suffragette,' which stars the two beauties as the leads, because they weren't happy with the size of the roles on offer for them.
Speaking to website Digital Spy, Cate said: "I think there's a sense that for a man to support a woman, he's somehow being emasculated - which is ridiculous!
"I think women far more feel like they want to be part of something and I think the way men get talked to by their representatives, it means they miss out on a lot of great experiences. I mean, who would not want to work with Carey Mulligan and Meryl Streep? You'd have to be a moron!"
Cate's comments come after screenwriter Abi Morgan, who penned the historical period drama, revealed at the London Film Festival last month that some men refused to join the cast because they weren't happy with the size of the parts.
She said at the time: "When we came to cast the film it was very difficult because we kept getting calls from agents saying the parts weren't big enough for the men."
