Johnny Depp’s brotherly love

Johnny Depp claims Benedict Cumberbatch is like a "real-life brother" to him.
The 52-year-old actor starred alongside the 'Sherlock' star in 'Black Mass', where they played brothers James 'Whitey' Bulger and sibling Billy, and Johnny has praised his co-star's "exceptional talent".
He shared: "He is a beautiful man of exceptional talent. He became like a real-life brother. The set-up we were playing was an unusual one - one brother becomes a politician, the other is king of the underworld.
"They still meet up for family dinners and church, just from opposing sides. It takes an actor with a lot of ability, like Benedict, to make that credible."
Meanwhile, Johnny has revealed he took on the role of the real-life gangster for two reasons, his fans and his fascination towards the part.
He added to BBC News: "[I took on the role of Bulger] for the joy of the part, I was fascinated by him for years. He ended up on the FBI's Most Wanted list after informing for them. How did he evade justice for so long.
"You do things for the fans too, though I don't like that word. I like to call them my bosses, because they're the ones who employ me. So you turn up to work for them."

Jennifer Lawrence thinks Passengers script is perfect

Jennifer Lawrence couldn't pass on a role in her new movie 'Passengers' because the script is "perfection."
The 25-year-old actress may have only just wrapped up the 'Hunger Games' franchise but she has admitted she wasn't prepared to take a short break and, consequently, miss out on the sci-fi-adventure film, starring Chris Pratt.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly magazine, due out this week, she said: "The script is perfection. It was so good that I thought I can't not do this movie. It's just too good."
And although Lawrence is already finding the the filming schedule a struggle, she has admitted her co-star Pratt is helping her through it with his positive attitude.
She explained: "Pratt is a bag of gummie bears. He is cotton candy in human form. He's always in a good mood!
"He always has energy. The other day I got mad at him because he's only positive. It was 4am and we had been working for 15 hours straight.
"I walk into the studio and Pratt has his phone in the air and is playing music and dancing around. He's so f***ing funny and nice. I think this movie is going to be awesome."
'Passengers', scheduled for release next year, is set on a spaceship, which is travelling towards a colony planet with thousands of people sleeping onboard when it is hit with a malfunction that wakes a passenger 60 years too early.

Leonardo DiCaprio says The Revenant was ‘most difficult film’ he’s ever done

Leonardo DiCaprio has admitted 'The Revenant' is the most "difficult film" he's ever shot.
The 41-year-old actor has countless blockbusters under his belt but has admitted the forthcoming biographical Western thriller film, in which he plays Hugh Glass, was really tough.
Speaking at a Q&A session following the screening of the movie at the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theatre in Beverly Hills, California, earlier this week, he said: "This is the most difficult film, I think, that any of us have ever done."
DiCaprio and the rest of the cast rehearsed like a stage production because the camera men only had 90 minutes a day to capture the "the beautiful, illustrious Chivo light."
He explained: "It was about us immersing ourselves in nature and putting ourselves as close as we could to the struggle of these people and finding the through line in that process. It's all a beautiful blur to me.
"You have to rehearse meticulously and then it's a mad, intense scramble to capture this magic light, this precious hour and a half."
The handsome star, who plays a fur trapper who sets out on a path of vengeance against his hunting team who left him for dead after a bear mauling, previously admitted he was forced to do "some of the most difficult things" during the gruelling nine-month shoot in Canada and Argentina.
He explained: "I can name 30 or 40 sequences that were some of the most difficult things I've ever had to do. Whether it's going in and out of frozen rivers, or sleeping in animal carcasses, or what I ate on set. [I was] enduring freezing cold and possible hypothermia constantly."

Elizabeth Banks’ sons are obsessed with Star Wars

Elizabeth Banks' sons are obsessed with 'Star Wars.'
The 'Hunger Games' actress has admitted her children Felix, four, and Magnus, three, have an excessive love for the epic space opera franchise but are yet to see the films.
Speaking on the 'Ellen DeGeneres Show' last night (24.11.15), she said: "They're all about 'Star Wars.' They don't really know anything about 'Star Wars.'
"I don't know how 'Star Wars' is doing it, but they've possessed my children. They got toothbrushes with Anakin and Darth Vader on them, accidentally. They got sent to the house. So they're like, 'Who are these guys?' "
And, although the boys are yet to see the famous film series, Banks is forced to "vet" everything they watch nowadays.
She said: "I have to vet everything these days."
And it's not just the 'Star Wars' series little Felix and Magnus hasn't seen as they're yet to watch their mum portray her role as Effie in the 'Hunger Games' franchise.
Banks, 41, explained with a giggle: "They know who Effie. They've played with Effie's Barbie for a couple years now. She's naked. They play with a naked Barbie of me."

Chris Hemsworth was weak on set of In the Heart of the Sea

Chris Hemsworth felt like he was going to "pass out" when he was shooting his new movie 'In the Heart of the Sea.'
The 31-year-old actor was forced to follow an extremely low-calorie diet for his role as shipwrecked sailor Owen Chase in the sea-set drama and has admitted the consequences of starving himself left him feeling light-headed and unwell.
Speaking on Australia's 'Kyle and Jackie O Show,' he said: "We felt as if we were going to pass out any second."
The handsome star - who is known for his bulging biceps and ripped abs, especially when playing superhero Thor - called on Tom Hanks to ask him for some advice on how to drop the weight following his role in 2000's 'Cast Away.'
He explained: "We called up Tom Hanks and he gave us some advice on how to lose the weight."
Jackie 'O' Henderson asked: "So, what is the trick?"
Hemsworth replied: "Don't eat. Pretty straight-forward."
The hunk lost 33lbs by the end of filming and he believes the starvation he experienced helped him get into character.
Jackie said: "When you're that food deprived and cranky, does it help with doing a film where you're essentially lost at sea and you wouldn't be in the best of moods?"
Hemsworth hit back: "It does. Looking back, it was essential to doing the story justice. It was based on true events which inspired Moby Dick to be written. There wasn't a lot of acting required for those last couple of weeks."
Meanwhile, earlier this week, Hemsworth uploaded a photograph of his shrunken figure on his Instagram account.
'In the Heart of the Sea' - directed by Ron Howard and based on a true event that happened in 1820 - is set for release across the US on December 11.

Sir Michael Caine considered retiring in the 90s

Sir Michael Caine almost quit acting in the 90s after he realised he was too old to "get the girl" on screen.
The 82-year-old British actor - who has been hailed the greatest living movie star - almost turned his back on his career 20 years ago because he was no longer being cast as the hunk and, instead, was being assigned to play the father in movies.
Speaking to Shortlist magazine, he said: "I was 62, 63, and one day I got a script and I read it and I sent it back to the producer with a letter saying the part was too small.
"He sent me a letter back saying, 'I didn't want you to read the lover, I wanted you to read the father.'
"That was a turning point for me. I suddenly realised, getting the girl was all over. I gave up and I went and lived in Miami."
However, although he was determined to leave the world of film behind him, Caine believes making musical movie 'Little Voice' in 1998 stopped him from making a big mistake.
He explained: "I was having loads of fun, and then Jack Nicholson got a script and said, "Why don't you do this movie 'Blood and Wine' with me?'. So I started off again.
"Then I did 'Little Voice' and a whole series of movies I really enjoyed. I won Academy Awards, BAFTAs and Golden Globes all over the place. 'Little Voice' got me going again."
The last 15 years have seen Caine make some of his most acclaimed and diverse films with parts in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy and 'Interstellar' and movies such as 'Austin Powers in Goldmember', 'Harry Brown' and 'Kingsman: The Secret Service'.

Ben Affleck feeling ‘pressure’ for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Ben Affleck is feeling a "ton of pressure" for 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'.
The 43-year-old actor - who is starring as Batman in the highly-anticipated film opposite Henry Cavill's Superman - admits he is nervous about its success.
He said: "I think there is a ton of pressure on it. I mean I would be bull****ing you to say there isn't. If it doesn't do well that will be extremely disappointing."
The 'Gone Girl' star also praised the CEO of Warner Bros., Kevin Tsujihara, for "caring" about the production.
He said: "I was really impressed by ... the fact that he cared. It was not like some guys, especially at that level, where it would be, 'We need a franchise movie ... we just need a movie with the names 'Batman' and 'Superman' on it and it doesn't matter what it is.
"For him, that wasn't it. He was willing to take longer to make the movie to get it right to make it a movie of higher quality."
And Ben thinks next year will be a "great" one for the entertainment company.
He told Variety magazine: "You'll see next year they are going to have a great year.
"They are now developing ... probably the single greatest under-exploited IP asset in the entertainment business, the DC comic world."
