Miley Cyrus won’t appear in Peter Pan

Miley Cyrus would rather "choke on her own tongue" than appear in ‘Peter Pan’.

The ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer read in a magazine how her short hairstyle makes her the perfect choice to play the fairy Tinker Bell from J.M. Barrie’s book ‘Peter Pan’ – which is currently being adapted into a new movie – but she wasn’t impressed.

She posted a picture of the article on Twitter and wrote next to it: "I would rather choke on my own tongue."

Miley, 21, is currently on her Bangerz Tour, which came to Los Angeles on Saturday (22.02.14) and proved an eventful night. After spotting fellow singer Katy Perry in the front row, she went over to her and they briefly locked lips.

‘Dark Horse’ singer Katy shared a photograph taken as they pulled away from each other on Twitter, which showed Miley with her mouth hanging open in shock while she covered her own mouth with her hand, with the caption: "And after! I adore you @Miley Cyrus."

Miley’s butt shaking and revealing outfits have attracted criticism for being too raunchy for her young fan base, but she hit back against the claims last week.

She tweeted on Thursday (20.02.14): "You can’t say I didn’t warn you. Now sit back relax & enjoy the show. #bangerztour (sic)"

The tweet was accompanied by a picture of Miley on stage in a revealing outfit exposing her bottom.

She also quipped: "Save your complaints for the McDonalds drive thru when they forget the ‘fries with that’ (sic)"
