KPop Demon Hunters star Audrey Nuna signs with Republic Records ahead of new single superHuman

Audrey Nuna has officially joined Republic Records and is kicking off the new era with her single superHuman, produced by Grammy winner Cirkut and landing Friday (07.08.26).

The move comes after a huge year for the rising star, who voiced Mira in KPop Demon Hunters and later celebrated an Oscar win as part of Huntr/x for the film’s original song Golden.

Nuna says the new partnership feels like the right home for what she wants to build next, telling Variety: “I’m honoured to work with a partner that believes in investing in the future of music and culture.”

She wrote superHuman during a period of rapid change, describing it as a moment of clarity after feeling more visible than ever.

She said:  “I wanted to capture that feeling – of redemption, of validation, of the tides finally turning.

“And in the same breath, I wanted to quietly remind myself and others to stay human… being more human will always be a superpower if we allow it.”

The track also arrives with a major gaming tie‑in: Nuna has teamed up with Riot Games to make superHuman an official song for the 2026 Valorant Champions Tour, marking her second link‑up with the franchise after January’s Toxic.

Meanwhile, Netflix is taking KPop Demon Hunters on the road next year with a huge global concert tour.

During the streaming giant’s Upfront 2026 event in New York City in May, it was revealed that fans of the blockbuster animated musical film can expect “a live experience that will bring elements of the two-time Oscar-winning film to life in spectacular ways.”

Netflix’s President of Advertising Amy Reinhard said at the presentation: “Obviously, nothing has captured the world’s attention quite like KPop Demon Hunters.

“There were sing-a-longs, Halloween costumes, shoutouts at the U.S. Open and Buckingham Palace. There was even a 25 per cent spike in flights booked to Korea. And today, KPop Demon Hunters is still the most popular film on Netflix, and we’re really excited to announce that next year, in partnership with AEG Presents, we’re going to keep that momentum going with our very first world concert tour. The live tour is going to bring fans even closer to the characters and the music that they love, and of course, we want you to be a part of that. We’ll have more information to share about the cities later this year, so stay tuned.”

Fans can now sign up to a waitlist via kpopdemonhunterslive.com to be first to find out which cities the show will head to in 2027.

The Maggie Kang film follows HUNTR/X, a girl group doubling up as demon hunters, as they battle rival demon boy band the Saja Boys and face personal challenges. The mix of catchy music and action has drawn fans of all ages, with social media flooded with videos of fans singing megahit Golden.

The movie is Netflix’s most-watched film ever.
