Julianne Hough considered ‘three main elements’ for their honeymoon

Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich considered "three main elements" when they were picking their honeymoon.
The 29-year-old actress married her husband in July this year, and following their wedding ceremony the newlyweds jetted off across the globe to numerous destinations including the Seychelles and Kenya, and the professional dancer has revealed when the pair were arranging their trips they wanted to find romantic and adventurous spots with great scenery for them to take pictures.
Speaking about the vacation and the organisation prior to their holiday on the ‘Safe Haven’ star’s website JulianneHough.com, Julianne’s 34-year-old spouse said: "Hey, guys! When we were looking into where we wanted to honeymoon, Jules and I considered three main elements: romance, adventure, and photography."
The couple were desperate to see "exquisite things" on their travels and to take photographs to have as "keepsakes" to remind them of the milestone and poignant times in their relationship.
The Canadian ice hockey player explained: "We wanted to see exquisite things and capture them beautifully as keepsakes we could always treasure. Photography was, is, and always will be a big part of our plans. It brings us joy and personal fulfilment, and I’d even go so far as to call it a type of therapy for me.
"When it comes to photos of me and my wife, I don’t want to look back 20 years from now at selfies of us from every place we ever visited. Selfies serve a purpose and I’m not opposed to them, but you can only get so much of the story from them."
And the one thing Brooks loves to do more than anything is to photograph his "beautiful wife" and capturing their special moments together.
He said: "Additionally, my favourite style of photography is capturing the things we do together. I love photographing my beautiful wife, but I also love photos of us together on our adventures. For our honeymoon, I wanted us to be able to be the subjects of our photos while still enjoying a private beach, just the two of us."
And the dark-haired hunk has revealed whenever he is at a "cool site" with his partner he is desperate to take a "key photo" of them both that he would be proud to have on display in their home.
He continued: "I always tell Julianne we need a key photo. Whenever we are at a really cool site I’m always looking for the key photo I’ll be most proud of — you know, that one that will definitely go in a frame."
