Gloria and Emilio Estefan to appear on Jane the Virgin

Gloria and Emilio Estefan are to appear on ‘Jane the Virgin’.
The couple will play themselves in the third episode of season three, but fans won’t get to see the pair perform.
According to ‘Entertainment Weekly’, their appearance comes when Rogelio (Jaime Camil) asks for their help as he tries to work on adapting a "Latin telenovela for an American audience."
The Estefans’ episode seems to be the same one which will be directed by Eva Longoria.
And the 41-year-old actress has been getting stuck into her new role as on Friday (01.09.16), she shared a photo from the set of the dramady.
She captioned the picture: "Life is always beautiful, depends what lens you’re looking through!"
Gloria and Emilio follow in the footsteps of previous guest stars Paulina Rubio, Kesha, Juanes, and Britney Spears.
The show’s lead actress, Gina Rodriguez, previously praised Britney as "incredible" when she shot her cameo.
She said: "Incredible! Incredible woman, super sweet, super kind. She loves the show, that’s how [it] actually ended up happening.
"She definitely got comedy chops like nobody’s business, and to go head-to-head with Jaime [Camil] is like, the ultimate challenge for a comedic actress because he’s so incredible. She held her own and more. She was very, very good!"
But the Golden Globe Award winner also admitted the show’s boss kept Britney’s guest appearance secret from her until the last minute because she was concerned Gina would spill the beans.
She said: "I don’t know anything. Jennie [Snyder, series creator] doesn’t tell me anything, because she knows I would tell you guys everything."
