Fleetwood Mac to re-issue self-titled 1975 album

Fleetwood Mac are to reissue their self-titled 1975 album featuring unreleased material.
The rockers – made up of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks – will drop the record in January, and it will include early recordings of the likes of ‘Say You Love Me’, ‘Rhiannon’, and ‘Landslide’.
The reissued album will be available in three formats, a single-CD, a 2xCD collection complete with unreleased studio and live recordings, and a 3xCD/LP/DVD deluxe edition with other live material.
The live recordings are formed from Fleetwood Mac shows in 1976.
What’s more, the original 1975 album, ‘Fleetwood Mac’, was the band’s 10th studio album and the first to feature Stevie as vocalist, and Lindsey on the guitar.
The record spawned singles ‘Warm Ways’, ‘Over My Head’, ‘Rhiannon’, and ‘Say You Love Me’.
In August, Mick insisted the group have no plans to retire and admitted next year’s run of gigs will not be the end of the group’s time on the stage.
When asked if it will be their final tour, the 70-year-old star said: "No. I don’t know where that is coming from.
"In my mind, it’s not, and everyone in the band has decided that it’s not.
"But we thought we were finished 30 years ago. And so it’s a Rolling Stones model.
"I don’t know if morbid is the correct word here, but when everyone is in their 70s and you think about five years from now … You know, at some point I wish I’d seen Frank Sinatra. And I didn’t. And lo and behold, one day Frank’s dead.
"Phil Collins is calling his tour ‘Not Dead Yet’. Well, we’re not dead yet, but god forbid, we might be, so you could be like, ‘I better go and see them!’ But you will not see a poster saying this is our farewell tour that I could dream of."
