The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have travelled to Anmer Hall with their newborn daughter Princess Charlotte.
The royal couple – who welcomed Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana into the world on Saturday (02.05.15) – left their apartment at Kensington Palace yesterday (06.05.15) and headed to their expansive property in Norfolk where they are expected to spend most of the summer.
The 10-bedroom mansion – which was recently refurbished to add a tennis court, swimming pool and conservatory – is situated on Queen Elizabeth’s Sandringham Estate and was given as a gift by Her Majesty to the royal couple.
The 89-year-old monarch was also spotted visiting her new great-granddaughter for the first time on Tuesday (05.05.15).
Queen Elizabeth was seen heading into Kensington Palace after Duchess Catherine, 33, and Prince William, 32, formally registered the birth of their second child at the residence, which was witnessed by a registrar from Westminster Register Office.
Princess Charlotte’s grandfather, the Prince of Wales. along with his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall spent more than an hour with their new granddaughter and her older brother, 22-month-old Prince George, on Sunday (03.05.15).
While the Duchess of Cambridge’s parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, and her sister Pippa have also been introduced to the newborn.
